After kindly escorting her new companion out of the Deadman's Den and out into the streets of Valhalla, she would pause and wait to see if El was keeping up with her. She didn't want him to get lost... Or snatched up by some random thugs. It was probably very clear that he was not from around here and had some sort of stature, considering his attired and his mannerisms. Extremely different from any normal Valparaiso Denizen, naturally... And she wouldn't be surprised if they preyed on such a thing, even if she was with him. But it wasn't likely that guys like that would make any bold moves out in the streets... Be she knew at the very least, they were watching.

They hadn't gone too far, but she had to check on him and make sure he was okay... Just in case. It was not only to ensure his safety, but also because it was just being a good escort.
"You alright there, love~?" She wouldn't let him on about the dark secrets of this place just yet... It was better to keep him ignorant about such things until the time actually called for it. No need to get this guy all worked up... He seemed to be the 'I'll cut down anyone that tries to touch us!' sort of guy and, even though that was good, it wasn't good to go starting something by looking at someone the wrong way 'round here... So, this would do for now until something popped off, if it did at all.

For the most part, El was able to keep up with her rather well. Despite his regal appearance and chivalrous demeanor, El was a knight that had traveled all the lands of the kingdom he hailed from. He'd seen many slums, and he'd climbed many mountains so the terrain wasn't really a problem. What he had noticed, however, were the lurking eyes and shifty shadows of this place. The slums of El's home world weren't like this at all, so ruthless and cut throat, but El was prepared for anything that could come at him and Tzita. It was the reason why he kept his hand on Durandal's hilt.

"Do you hail from this land, Lady L'sia? This world even?" El asked, coming back to her side after helping a little girl retrieve something from the top of a building. He'd done it rather quickly, so quickly that it didn't even seem like he'd left Tzita's side at all. He was glad for her concern, but he felt it unwarranted.

In the midst of his movement, it seemed like he missed her question entirely. Certainly, for the brief moments that he was gone, she noticed that much as he returned to her side. He was quite swift, she had to admit, which would be a plus. Maybe he could hold his own around here after all. That was a bit of relief, then. However, when being asked about things about herself...

"Well..." she started to say, fidgeting with the chain in her hand, "... Kinda... But not really. You could consider this place like a, uh... Second home of sorts." It was clear that she was keeping a vast majority of her own personal information a secret from him, for whatever reason. She was a strong believer of the 'Don't ask, don't tell' method and would hold fast to it as long as he asked her questions that she could answer without leaking too much info. "What about you? What's your homeworld like?"

El hummed in thought, rubbing his chin as he did so and looking skyward. He hadn't thought much about his home world, so he wasn't exactly sure how to describe it to someone that had never seen it in a fashion that would make sense to them. Then he remembered the portal in the wispy in between that would have transported him to the world the ghost girl called "The Dawn". He supposed he could relate it to that, and perhaps it would make sense to Tzita.

"It's much like this world's Dawn, Lady L'sia, the lush greenery of nature and wonderful view of the wildlife. There are many kingdoms, the one I hail from being the largest of them, but we live in harmony with the land and each other... for the most part." El stopped rubbing his chin and looked to his side, towards Tzita. He clearly had no trouble with disclosing information to Tzita because he'd grown, at least, a bit comfortable around her and didn't feel like there was a need to keep his world a secret. After all, there seemed to be nothing anyone could do about it anyway since it was, quite possibly, in a separate universe now.

"The Dawn?" He knew of the places from the mainland? That was weird, considering he said he didn't come from there and that he also appeared first in Valparaiso... That must have meant that somehow, he was able to see it. Where exactly did he come from, then...? "... You know about that place? I thought you said this was the first place you ended up. How would you know about any of the mainland territories?" The way he described his world, though, sounded rather ravishing, much like the Dawn was... So it was clear that he did indeed get a glimpse of it, if he could compare it to his own world so vividly. She kept a watchful eye of her surroundings, even in the midst of conversation, but did not get so distracted where she would lose her focus on what he was saying.

"Regardless, that place sounds pretty nice. Seems like how the Veritas functions, honestly..." That's right... A peaceful existence where all the territories work together in order to perpetuate that peace and promote the overall growth of the world instead of bickering and destroying it between themselves... That is why it was a pandimensional safe-haven. Unlike the Warring World of which they were once connected, wherein their Peace could not be maintained nor completely ascertained due to all of the hostility of the Tri-Village 'Alliance,' as they wished to call it... despite not being such at all, really. "... Really makes me wonder what caused you to come here and why... If that 'something' is so important where you'd risk your life here, then it better be worth it." That was how she saw it; no way was she gonna throw herself into danger just on a whim and a feeling. Sure, she'd do so for other things, but not when it was dangerous. Just better to avoid those types of things entirely, she figured.

"Well, it was only a glimpse through a portal," El commented with a small chuckle before rising a hand to stroke his chin again, but never removing his other hands rested position on Durandal for a quick draw. He seemed quite engrossed with conversation, but El had heightened senses and was able to stay privy to their surrounds as well. "And I have really good eyesight, that's all."

Now that El thought about it, neither Tzita nor the other mysterious guy had told him anything about that wispy in between, and Tzita didn't seem to remember him saying anything about the portals. He supposed that was his mistake, for not mentioning that he could have chosen to go somewhere else, but now he'd already said something. As for what could have brought him here, well, El wasn't sure, but he knew that eventually the feeling would strike him again.

"Where I'm from, I was a knight so risking my life isn't something new. In fact, I enjoy doing things for others, it keeps me going." El slowed his pace a tiny bit, walking to the other side of Tzita and up ahead of her just a few steps before turning around and walking backwards while looking directly at her with a smile. "You don't sound as if you live by the same philosophy, Lady L'sia. Though beautiful ladies from my world rarely lifted a finger as well."

"Is that so?" she'd question with a hint of cunning interest, trying to keep the smile on her face from growing too wide with excitement. She was all for the type that would be at her beck and call, and it seemed like he was already conditioned to do such things, from what he was talking about... Or maybe it was just the type of guy he was. Whatever the case may be, Tzita was definitely for it. She was kinda liking this guy. "Weeell theeen~," she'd say with a more cheerful tone and demeanor, "I suppose you wouldn't mind giving me a lift...? Looks like you could handle it," she'd say, spinning into his arms and going slightly limp dramatically, "... My feet are tired..." Honestly, she really wasn't accustomed to walking again, considering that she never really did any of that sort of thing before... It was actually pretty tiresome. She bat her eyes at him again and poked out her glistening lip, scrunching herself up shyly as her shoulders compacted inward, her arms naturally pressing against her breasts as she did. "... And I feel faint~!" she'd add finally, quickly averting her gaze from him as though a shy maiden seeking a knight in shining armor to whisk her off her feet...

And, like in the hotel, El was there to catch her perfectly in his arms as she spun into him and went limp. Casually, he ran his hands along her body, trying to find a good grip where he could hold her so that she wouldn't slip out of his arms while they continued speaking. "If that is your desire milady, I'd be hard pressed not to oblige you." El knew he could very well toss Tzita over his shoulder and carry her as if she weighted nothing more than that of a feather, he could even toss her in the air and juggle her as if she were a simple ball, but he knew what she was probably driving at. He'd seen it many a time at court, and had become versed in it himself: The Princess Carry.

He shifted to position his hands were they needed to be, sliding one gently across her back as he bent his knees a bit to slid the other behind her knees. "Especially if you are feeling faint, Lady L'sia." He straightened his knees, standing up straight and lifting her off the ground with relative ease. She was weighty, perfect for her body type, but she wasn't what El would consider fat or overweight. She was very fit, so he took her 'faintness' as just another seductive ploy that, this time at least, he was happy to play right into.

"I say, the other men around may get jealous of me, you seem quite the hot commodity around here." El could practically feel the vengeful eyes of, perhaps, Tzita's many other patrons burrowing into his entire body as he began to walk in the same direction they'd been going. As an escort, she was probably rather good at her job, so he could understand.

And just like that, she was swept right off her feet and into his arms, the rather signature 'Princess Carry' going off without a hitch. She gazed up at him with sparkling eyes and buried herself into his chest, snickering to herself a little bit whilst lightly pressing her hand upon it, as though a means of comfortable rest. The delicate touch of his hand was something she hadn't felt in quite a long time being accustomed to the brutish people that came to the Forbidden Hotel before, and though she was all for that type of care (given her own personal desires), this was something new and something subtle, like she tended to be when dealing with others... in this aspect, that is.

"Oh, you're good~! Already know the deal, huh?" It meant that he had some dealings with women before, no doubt, for a scrub like the ones running around here would have made her walk anyway... Not that they'd be wrong to do so. She wasn't sure if he was gullible or if he actually wanted to do this, but nevertheless, it was getting done. That was all she really cared about right now. "I think I'm gonna enjoy being your escort for a while..." she muttered, though mostly to herself. When he brought up the jealousy of the other guys, she couldn't help but snicker again, finding it hard to contain her contemptuous laughter (even though she definitely did) before gifting him with a rather snide remark, "Oh, those losers? Don't even worry about them... They're basically worthless. Only really good for business, not for anything like this..." She'd sensually slide her hands up his chest and around his neck, loosely locking them with her wrists. Behind his head, she'd flip the bird to all the buildings, then look up to some of them with keen eyes and flash a devious smirk before gently resting her head back down upon this comfortable man's chiseled bosom. "Mmm~" she cooed slightly, rather enjoying the feel of it... "... Just make sure not to take any wrong turns... I think it'd be bad for us to make any detours at this hour..." Especially after she most likely pissed off all the grunts that had nothing better to do but to watch as the prize of the city was carried off by some new guy. Heh heh heh.

El found her attitude rather cute, it was definitely different from the women he remembered from his world. Or, maybe, it was only different from the personalities of the noble women that he was always around, but not the women of the slums. Either way, Tzita was a relatively new experience for him, and a rather refreshing breath of fresh air. He could read her seductions like an open book, but he couldn't ever read her motives.

"As you wish Milady, though I wouldn't be opposed to fighting for your honor." El said rather casually, and it wasn't really clear if he was being serious or not. Of course, El meant what he said, he wouldn't be opposed to fighting someone over her, but because he needed to gauge the strength level of the people in this particular area. With how fit she seemed, El was sure that Tzita didn't need anyone to fight her battles for her.

He tightened his grip on her arm and legs, holding her closer to his person as he walked to make sure he wouldn't drop her. Feeling the heat of her body against her chest, as well as the shapely curves of it, were quite distracting, even for him. It took a bit for him to maintain his composure.

She let his comment about 'fighting for her honor' go without response, even though she would make a mental note of it, just in case something did come up. She wanted to see if he could walk the walk like he talked the talk. In her eyes, words were cheap and typically used to acquire things that people wanted, which is why she became so proficient in the ways of the tongue... Not to mention, he heritage basically granted her such proficiency to begin with, regardless, though finely honing this skill in different ways was not beyond her, even if others did not really care to do so. She found great use in it, especially when it came to getting her way without having others know that she was doing it . The mark of a masterful seductress, no doubt.

Even so, she'd flash another coy smile at him and his response, only before being propped up higher and more securely into his bod. She was not nearly as flustered as he was, but certainly could play the part... Especially since she noticed it in the heat of their bodies touching each other. She giggled flirtatiously and gently slid her arms from his neck down to his arms, swirling her fingers gently around his tensed biceps,
"Mmhmhmhm~! You seem a little... Tense..." she'd say with a lofty tone, "... I hope that my being here doesn't..." she leaned in closer, lips just barely brushing against his neck as they reached his ear, "... Bother you...~?" Her voice drifted off in a sensual whisper as she'd press her cheek against his as though to rest her head slightly on his shoulder now. Might as well have a little fun whilst they were on their way to the next destination in Valhalla...

El held his breath for a time. He was used to seduction, but had never allowed it to come to such physical contact as this, mainly do to him being a slave to his duty. Not that he had never lain with a woman before. Still he was confident in his ability to resist Tzita as he would any other lady trying to win his favor. It was just... harder with Tzita because she was such a foreign entity to him. She reminded him of the rumored enchantresses of his home world.

He exhaled after her sensual whispers in his ear, Aland turned his head as best he could to catch a glimpse of her beautiful face. "Oh course not, lady L'sia." He smiled, running his hand up her arm slowly As she traced the muscles in his arm. "I only hold you closer so as to give you a more comfortable ride, you like a nice, long, comfortable ride... don't you?" Now it sounded as if he was trying to turn her tactics against her, and seduce the seductress.

From being so very close to him, she could tell that he was holding his breath, for whatever reason. Despite how he tried to keep up the cool act, she could tell that she was, even if slightly, getting to him with her own sort of 'charm' the same way his had only slightly gotten to her before. Though they were playing two different games (if he was even playing at all), it was still a... 'good match,' so to speak. Tzita was, for once, enjoying herself beyond simply the physical pleasantries of her endeavors, for roping in men around here was all too easy. She was beginning to become rather fond of this 'new challenger' of sorts.

The soft strong of his hand against her arm sent a chill up her spine, something of which she'd definitely have to return to him in her own... special way. She could see that he was loosening up from that whole 'royalty' persona and getting a little more casual with her, after what he said. Maybe he wasn't as much of a stiff as she thought... Not to say that his regal manner wasn't still rather attractive in and of itself, to a relative degree.
"... Sometimes~..." she chimed cutely, "... But my personal preference is more... Rough and tumble..." She'd drop one arm as though it went limp, ever so slightly brushing it against his pelvis before just as swiftly lifting it to his abdomen and adjusting herself to a more comfortable position. The other, holding her chain, would gently slip around his neck, hinting at her type of 'ride' that she enjoyed. It slithered around his neck like a cold, metallic snake before she'd draw it back into her hand again.

Before they got too lost in their own little means of fun, she would direct him in the direction of the other important building in the central City of Ruin. There weren't many that were not homes to the thugs and cutthroats, even things that used to be businesses were now merely places for them to congregate and do as they do in secret. Very few, if any places of actual commerce still remained; one of which was the Forbidden Hotel, the most popular attraction in all Valhalla, and possibly even Valparaiso.
"Let's not get too distracted, hm? I'm still supposed to be your escort..." even if at this point, it seemed to be the other way around. "The next sight to see is over this way... Just follow the main road and it'll take you right to it."

he maneuvered his hands, as she adjusted, so that he could keep his firm grip on her. If she wanted to be carried a different way, then he would surely oblige her, but he felt like she was trying to hint him towards something else entirely. El came from a simple world, caught in a medieval-like time period and were just now beginning their evolution towards a new age. With that, El was a simple man of that world that could be considered, primitive, if looked at from this world, so there were things he'd never experienced.

He said nothing immediate though, just secretly enjoying having his hands upon her exotic skin and voluptuous body, and looked onward towards where she was attempting to direct him and turned to walk the path as directed. "And what might this other sight be, Lady L'sia?" He'd ask curiously. This place had quite the interesting layout for such a lifeless looking place. Tzita hadn't actually identify anything of significant importance as they walked except for this one time. El wasn't sure if he was suppose to take that as saying that, besides the extravagant Hotel, none of the other buildings meant much to 'tourist' except for this next one?

"Well, down this road is the Broken Homes Orphanage. It's the only other building that isn't filled with Valparaiso Denizens waiting to jump people." Certainly, there may have been room for potential interesting places, but with so many people occupying the buildings, they'd have to go through some people in order to even capture the buildings in the first place. Having no interest in any place besides the Forbidden Hotel, the thought to expand on the territory was never in her mind, nor anyone else's for that matter. They had their business and that's all that she really cared about. "I know it's not the most... Exciting place to go to, but you never know. Maybe you were brought here to help these children?"

Only moments after she said that, there was a loud explosion and a burst of lava that shot from the ground, towering over some of the buildings and in plain sight. She jumped up, slightly startled by it, but questioning why and how it occurred nonetheless. "What the hell...?" Even if random disturbances were common around these parts, it was unusual to see something like THAT. And the roughnecks usually knew to leave the orphans alone, regardless, so... Whatever was going down there was something really strange. Before long, lava could be seen flowing along the main street in the distance. For once, she seemed actually concerned about the situation. "Hey, uh, let's speed this up, huh? Whatever's happening is going on near the orphanage, and I don't know what it is, but it probably isn't good for those children..."

El was nodding along with Tzita's explanation about their next destination. If he was brought here by the wish of someone else, then it wasn't outside the realm of possibility that he was brought here by the overwhelming power a child, or group of children, wishes could hold. Even in his home world, children looked up to knights, in the real world and in story books, as a savior and protector of all: A Hero. El never once thought of himself as such, but there were many times where he heard the word dropped when being described to someone by someone else.

Even because Tzita's jump in his arms indicated her surprise about the geyser of lava spewing towards the sky, El had already picked up on the screams and cries of the children in the orphanage that was telling him about seconds before. El had stopped walking, but not out of surprise of the situation, nor Tzita's sudden urgency. "Hold on tight, Lady L'sia." He cautioned, digging his feet deep into the ground, his body tensing to a degree that Tzita would be able to feel being so close to his chest, and held on to Tzita firmer than before, but still with a touch of delicacy.

He exhaled, calming himself and his mind of the thoughts of Tzita and focusing on the task he'd set forth for himself; saving those children. And, with a rapid burst of speed, he was off running and nearing their destination in the blink of an eye. El wasn't sure what he could do about stopping Lava, but the least he could do was help the children escape.
