As El had estimated, they'd gotten back to the hotel in near record time as he came to a halt from his jog. He'd done so because he wanted to get to one of the other land mass just as bad as Tzita did, and because he wanted to test  these new gifts that he was being given. The light jog he took was still akin, at least it would seem that way to Tzita, to moving at a super speed. This was no time to test his  limits, but at that very least he could try to understand them.

"We're here, Lady L'sia, and in record time." He hoped he hadn't surprised her. He had just taken her up in a princess carry without asking and started running without saying anything to her. Something told him that it would be fine that she wouldn't have any objections, but he could be wrong.

Though being scooped up off her feet and manhandled as she was did not do anything but make her more excited than she was before, she still knew that it was far too early to let him know that she actually enjoyed these things the way that she did. Letting on too much would give him way too much about her way too early... No, she needed to play this one cool.

"I was tired, anyway, so I guess it was more helpful than harmful." She admitted that it was a little jarring at first, but even she knew that he and his speed were best suited for getting them somewhere fast, so she wouldn't play too opposed to it. "I suppose it may be excused this time~!" She smiled and winked at him, before hopping out of his arms and opening the door. "Big Daddy~!! We have returned from our tour~!"

Then all was well, though El had already known that it would be. Strangely, he'd already picked up on the fact that Tzita liked attention and that she liked being pampered. He only played to those traits of hers, and it was natural for him to do so. He was used to serving, much more than being served, and Tzita was interesting enough for him to want to keep her interested in him; a stranger from another world.

He followed behind her, folding his arms as he walked. "I should thank you for showing me around Valparaiso before we go somewhere else, Lady L'sia. I hope I wasn't too much of a bother to you."

At the desk of the Deadman's Den, the shadow of a man sat in place of the actual physical entity that once took the chair. Though the man was wrapped in darkness, the piercing red eyes remained constant, glaring at the two of them from the other end of the desk.

"Were you pleased with our services, sir? How was your tour of the land?" He seemed more concerned with El's arrival and his comfort than the return of his escort that he sent to guide him.

"Oh, no, it is fine... Trust me... You'd hear about it from me if it weren't~!" She smiled and winked at him, before turning her attention to her father, who glared at the two of them from behind his deck. It seemed like he was out currently, but his shadow was there keeping watch of everything whilst his actual form was out and about doing other things. "Hey Daaaddy~!" she cooed sweetly, plopping over the desk, already apparent that she wanted something, "... Ummm... So, El and I had a nice time together and I was wonderiiiing..." She pressed her enormous breasts together with her arms, as if trying to entice him with her sexual charms, for whatever reason, "... If you'd take us to the Dawn~? He wants to explore there, and he wants me to be his Escort~!" She winked at him and blew him a kiss, as though hinting at some sort of understanding between the two of them under the radar. "Pwetty pweeeaase~?"

"I've never been in greater company, or with greater companionship, than with Lady L'sia." El commented with an affirmative nod of his head as the man spoke with him. She was a refreshing personality that he hadn't had much experience with, so it had taken him a bit of time to adjust to her idiosyncrasies, but he enjoyed the time all the same.

"It is as she says, sir, I would like to request a bit more of her time as my escort." El added onto Tzita's speech to her father. He cleared his throat and continued, "I haven't any money, but I would be willing to repay her services, and your hospitality, with physical labor if you so request it of me. I am an honorable man and would never ask for such great service, from a beautiful woman as Lady L'sia no less, for free again."

The great shadow remained silent until the two of them spoke their piece, and when he had completely assessed the situation (without influence of the girl's blatant sexual display), he would, first and foremost, address his customer.

"Is that so?" he inquired sternly, as though he'd heard such things uttered before by a multitude of 'guests' in his finely run establishment, "... Willing to work, then, you say, to pay for my daughter's prolonged services away from the Forbidden Hotel?" Certainly, his best Hostess that raked in most of his customers merely by being coy and pleasant eye candy to the brutish men around these parts leaving so abruptly could put a dent in his business... Not that it was a necessity for her to be here, considering this place (as well as the man that owned it) were rather well off and fully taken care of either way. It was clear that he was not worried nor concerned about the well-being of this place, for he had many other means of making money and had much in reserve, as well. He was a man more based on principle than anything, and the words of the nobleman before him seemed to harbor a sincerity that the others that came here did not possess. He knew this because his sharp, piercing red eyes could see into their minds and souls, and could tell whether there was darkness in either, including through their words. In El, he saw none; hence his sincerity.

He then turned to meet the eye of his daughter, who seemed, for once, just as eager to embark on a quest that came outside of her natural flirtatious values and roping in men in order to drain their pockets of all they were worth, as well as their hearts. Even in she, despite her clear attempt to entice the Count via sexual distractions, as she did all others, harbored a certain sincerity in her voice and in her heart that he could very clearly see... beyond all that she tried to cover it up with.

"... Here are the rules," he said carefully after deep thought about the matter, "El, to repay me for taking my finest Hostess from my establishment, you shall now be working to pay off this debt as one of my Escorts. That being said, you two must take care of each other and do your best not to let harm come your way." Before them, upon the desk, a slip of paper would rise from the shadows and a pen along with it. Despite being in Valparaiso, the contract was for when they reached the Dawn. "... In the Veritas, there is a sacred Sanctuary that is home to the 'Kurogami.' At some point in time, you two are required to visit that place. Any proceeds that you may come across are yours to keep, however you will be reporting to me and, if need be, will have to give proper payment for the extended time away. This means that, in spite of whatever goes on in the Veritas, you will first and foremost be working for me and will, occasionally, be called to do missions on my behalf. I do not expect you to drop everything that you are doing and do them immediately, but I do expect them to get done as promptly as one can. These are the terms and conditions of your travel and my limited assistance to you both."

As he spoke, the words that he said were transcribed upon the paper exactly as he said; verbatim, etched in a shadowy ink that soon glowed the same red of his eyes, like blood. "Sign both of your names there and you will be taken to one of the cities in the Dawn, where you may embark on your quest."

She could tell that her sexual display had no effect on Big Daddy; partially why she respected him, despite his great power and authoritative control... Things that she always had highly revered, especially in herself. She was so used to getting her way in that manner that she forgot who she was dealing with for a moment, quite honestly. With that, she quickly straightened up and took the pen in her hand. "I can't believe you're making me sign a contract," she muttered under her breath, "Like you don't trust me or something..." She rolled her eyes. She knew how he was, though; a businessman at heart, through and through. Such is how it had to be when running an extensive connection through the underworld; the Zero World especially. She read over the contract, just to be sure that everything was crystal clear and exactly as he said, before signing her name down at the bottom in the 'Signature' space. "There. Are you happy now?" She slammed the pen down, a little ticked that he was making his own daughter go through all of this. But at least she got to get out of this stuffy old place and go see the world again... She needed to get more advances on her powers, anyway, and the best way to do that was to get right into action.

"I agree to your terms, sir." El said without a second thought about it, it was the least that he could do. He'd grown fond of Tzita, whether she knew it or not, and wouldn't mind anything he had to do to remain at her said. Now, with being employed by her father, they'd have more time to hang out with one another, without her having to be his escort. He wasn't entirely sure what things, specifically, her father would call on him to do, but he would do them without question. He would keep his word.

El stepped forward and signed the contract when Tzita was finished, and smiled a bit at her with a small chuckle. "It's fine, Lady L'sia, I wouldn't take it so hard. This is a business after all, and your father seems like quite the accomplished bureaucrat."

Once the papers were signed and dotted, he would collect the contract place it under the desk, where it would slip into the shadows, to be stored within in proper order. "Yes, well, I'm glad that YOU seem to understand that, then, my son." With the contract completed, El was now taken under Thanytoz's 'wing' so to speak, and thus would be considered a 'son' of his, now. Though stern and strict at times, he was a loving and proud person who wished to treat everyone who served under him as not his employees, but as dear children. In that, there was now a hint of love in his voice when addressing El, and he would, indeed, nod his head to him as a sign of recognition for his respectful and dutiful manner. A nobleman through and through, it seemed. "Hopefully you will be able to teach THIS ONE a bit of manners... It seems that she hasn't quite gotten the hang of that yet. Possibly because everyone bends over backward just to get a look at her, and she's let it all go to her head." He shook his head and sighed, "... Though, nevermind that. Here, allow me to assist you two, then." With a glimmer of his eyes, each of their shadows would begin to glow with vibrant color, allowing them to see the beautiful gateway that was the Dawn on the other side. "Simply fall back into your shadow as though falling into a coffin and you will arrive on the flipside, gravity naturally pulling you into place and onto your feet without you having to do a thing. Then, you will arrive in the Dawn and your shadows will return to darkness." Where they ended up in the Dawn was completely up to them, but they would end up in the same place together. "Good luck. And have fun," he said with a smile, warmed by the inspiration of his children. He wished for their happiness more than for them to do any bidding of his in the slightest, and for them to have fun whilst doing so. Therefore, that is what he hoped occurred whilst they were away on their quest together.

Despite how irritating he was sometimes, she was actually pretty excited to get out into the world and do things on her own again. She hadn't done so in a long time; in fact, it seemed like it had been several hundred years since she actually got out of a stuffy old house, save for her few experiences outside to do menial tasks or whatever. This was actually something like she had experienced in her youth! Well, not like she wasn't still in there, but, you get the idea. It was like a second chance of sorts to do it all over, and this time to do it right. That was the most exciting for her, quite honestly. "Alright, alright, well let's get this show on the road, then, huh, El~?" She crossed her arms as though she were about to fall backward into a coffin, having experience with such things given who her father was and the nature of her powers, and, without much hesitation, fell backward into her shadow, which would fit her body's frame absolutely perfectly (naturally, being her own shadow,) just enough for she and only she to slip through and out the other side, in a location within the Dawn.

"As you wish, Lady L'sia." El replied with a slight bow before turning his head and nodding to her father in a show of gratitude. The man didn't need to offer his help, or allow his daughter to continue on this adventure with El, and so El was grateful to him.

He crossed his arms over his chest and fell backwards in his shadow, as Tzita had, and expected to come out where they were being sent. He'd seen a lot of Valparaiso and so he was interested in seeing the rest of the world he'd been thrust into. He wondered how they would compare.
