The Spirits that were within the Sacred Temple, as well as those that had been recently released from their confinement similarly to how the Fae had been, would gather about at the Colosseum once they heard the sound of 'The Siren'. They weren't sure what it meant, but the powerful energy that washed over them, something like a flood, brought them all to the Colosseum and kept them congregated in curiosity and pleasant calm, and they would wait to see what was the meaning of their gathering here was, and what that thunderous boom truly meant.

It had been some time since his Coronation and the more recent Celebration of his Union with his wife. The cleansing wave that blew through the Pumpkin Patch and brought all the spirits to rest here would also yield the Pumpkinhead, who was here to guide them through the Ceremonial Event that was the 'Releasing Of The Spirits.' Thus, he began, standing before them as a blazing spirit, himself, "Brothers... You All Have Been Trapped. Asleep. In Vessels You Had Not Once Known You Were Confined To... Yet, You Were Not Free To Roam As You So Pleased In Your Worlds. Now, You May. You May Roam As Freely As You Delight All Through The Veritas."

"But What You Have Been Gathered Here For, Besides Your Release, Is The Ceremony For Your Release, Known As The 'Fiesta Del Caza.' What Happens Is, Once You Are Released, You Are Monitored, Researched And Observed Whilst Also Living In Harmony And Coexistence, Able To Do The Same To Those That Interact With You. They Will Be There To Study You, And You, To Learn How To Get Along In The Best Method With Them. Your Objective Is To Coexist, And Those That Fail Have The Potential To Be Slain, Just As Those That Will Be Interacting With You. I Only Say This As A Warning To Be On Your Best Behavior As You Are Released, And Take On Many Different Forms, So That Many Of You May Be Observed And Acknowledge. Certainly, You All Know The Potent Power Of Being Observed..." He would have hoped, they being Spirits, after all; some of which probably were already accustomed to that, in fact.

"So, What You Are To Do Is To Take On Numerous Forms That You Want, And See How Well You Can Interact With Others. If You Can Do So In A Way That Doesn't Get You All Killed Or Have You Killing Others And Turned Back Into Spirits, You Win. This Is All For Sport, So It Is Not Permanent Damage To Anyone." He waited to her what they said about this, before they were released out for the great game.

The Spirits that had gathered about the Colosseum and rested in the seats of the deceased would each listen with their own interpretation of the words of this strange, but clearly exceedingly spiritually powerful man. They would dare not rise up to attack him, yet some felt compelled to speak out their own truths to him about their feelings of this situation, in hopes of being acknowledged and recognized.

"A game? Why should any of us partake in some game with the Living?" Not to say that some of them didn't do so already, but it was something that only happened between the Spirits, and the Living were forbidden from knowing unless they were keen enough to figure it out. Each of the older spirits knew what it meant to be observed... It meant to be Established, and exist as a Set Existence in the realm of which they were perceived rather than as some ambiguous force. They tended to interact with worlds subtly and then implant visions and feelings in the minds and hearts of those they touched in order to be observed, but because of the twisted and corrupt hearts of those they touched, the image of the Spirits became warped simply because of the one that observed them. "We're tired of being turned into evil demons and beasts that we are not, or that we didn't appear to them as! We want to be recognized for what we TRULY are! Even if we decide to take on a grotesque form, should we not still be seen for our Good Spirits, despite what we look like or what we do?!"

Many of the Spirits of the Living sought this; in fact, it was the cry of most spirits, in fact. To be able to be seen for what they are without being demonized. Yet, it was difficult to do so to those that couldn't even see them, and in fact, it was actually becoming rather troublesome and leading to Spiritual Wars between the Dead and the Living, and even between other Spirits. They were all getting tired of it, and wouldn't partake in such an act of destruction. "Our Spirits are not just a game! We are Living Dead! We still walk, even if not in flesh! We are not just 'Dead' because of those still in their flesh that cannot see us have said so! Do we not still move and feel and influence? Does that sound dead to you?" Some of them seemed interested, since there were many that enjoyed the good sport of it all, but they, too, were roused by the thoughts of the more wise Spirits that had endured the endless cycle of Souls going into different Worlds and different Fleshes, and dying repeatedly due to the hands of others, or even their own wills. They would rather not come back than to go back into the flesh and lose it again. It was a very hurtful, painful experience; mentally, spiritually and physically. Like losing something precious... The possession of a physical body. They all revered it, even if they no longer had it. But they would not suffer again for it.

"Then Learn To Coexist," he said with authority, gazing over the congregation of the Invisible Realm, "... Are You Not Capable, In And Of Yourselves? Do Not Forget That Some Of You Continue To Be Slain Because Of YOUR Interactions, And Not Because Of Anyone Else." Like the Living Spirits that still walked in their flesh, the Spirits were blind to their own shortcomings and didn't wish to see what they did in their own manner to cause something to go awry. "What Is True Of The Living Is Also True Of The Dead. If, In Those Other Bodies, You Were The Same Spirits That You Are Now, Then Isn't It True That No Matter WHAT Physical Shape You Take, If YOU Do Not Ever Change, Then Your Flesh Will Always Be As You Make Them, And Die Similarly To How They Were In A World Passed?" It seemed as though the spirits, which were filled with angst due to the circumstances of their existence, were unaware of their own part to play. So, Pumpkinhead would make sure to let them know.

"This Was Not Just The Work Of One Side. This Was The Work Of You All. Now, Even If You Mean Well, What Does It All Mean If What You Meant Turns Into Something You Don't Mean Any Longer? That Changes The Energy. The Influence. And I'm Sure You All Know How That Works." The pathway to hell is paved with good intentions... and that was the reason why. "Certainly, You Must Remember That The Physical Bodies Also Mean Well, Before You May Antagonize, Scare, Distract, Mislead Or Even Confuse Them. They Are Unable To Interact With You Naturally. They Have Been Blinded To That. So, Does That Not Mean That If You Have The Opportunity To Come Here And Make Peace That, In Doing So Just With One Group, You Could Potentially Influence That Group To Save The Others, And Teach Them How To Coexist With You As You Do With Them? That Is The Very POINT Of This Ceremony. The Fiesta Del Caza." It seemed that there was more to this 'Game' than meets the eye; there were lessons and strategies, as well as a plethora of 'Good Intentions' and methods that it seemed this spirit was INSISTENT on getting done.

"... I Will Not Force You To Do Anything. You Are Your Own Spirits; Your Own Wills To Do As You Will. But I Will Tell You This; If You See The Ticket To Your Freedom, You Do Not Just Leave It Lying On The Ground. No One Does. Isn't That Why So Many Have Become Corrupt In The First Place? Because You See Your Way Out And Try To Acquire It In The Wrong Manner, And Thus Trap Yourself More? Yet, When Presented With It Right Before Your Eyes... What Will You Do Now? Believe It Is Too Good To Be True And Let It Pass You By So You May Go Out And Seek It In The Improper Manner Again? How Wise Is That?" He did not seem like he wanted to demean them, for there was respect in his voice... But he did seem adamant about his concern for their well being, which came out in his insistence upon their cooperation. "... What Say You Now, Then, After Hearing All Of This, Spirits...?" Pumpkinhead had always been the deep, pensive, quiet and overly thoughtful type. For basically all of his life, he kept quiet and remained relatively in stasis in Deep Thought, sort of like conscious meditation. And now that his time to speak had finally come, and he was able to as he so wished for so long, he hoped that he would be heard... That his own Spirit would be acknowledged by the Spirit and the great Will Of The Spirits, as well.

Much of the congregation was moved by these words of wisdom and passion spoken by the Spirit that stood before them and had gathered them here. The more ancient and wise spirits, elders over the others, could see how and why he had become so powerful and honored him for it. He would go far with a powerful soul such as that.

However, many of the younger, weaker and more ignorant spirits that had only entered one or two lives, and perhaps, had not even had life at all in a physical form, were scared of what everyone spoke of... 'Dying.' "... I don't want to die again..." they said, terrified at how it happened to them the first time, or how they'd even seen someone else die. "... It's painful... And you lose so many people you love... Other spirits inside of other people... Gone... taken from you...." One of the elders would console one of the weaker spirits that was under his power, saying, "... As Long As Your Spirit Remains, And You Have An Impact On Another Spirit... They Will Not Forget You, Young One, And Will Find You When They Rejoin Us In The Great River..." At those words, the scared spirit felt a little more at peace, and came to a calm.

Yet, the subject of the fear of 'Dying' was still there. Certainly, even if they could come back, the death would be painful, as it was anytime anything of the flesh died before its time or because of doing something incorrectly. Even if their spirits didn't die (which, there was also the possibility of occurring, wherein they would not come back), the Pains Of Living were still quite the price to pay. Work. Labor. Hardship. Love. Emotions. All of these things that they carried with them as merely feelings and energies... Would become realized in the Flesh. That was the most terrifying thing; to see their energy be made real, and it not being what they expected nor anticipated. Some of them had gone through that, too, and they, too, were afraid.

There was a stir in the voice of the spirits, those of which all cried out in a unanimous cry; the cry of fear. It was apparent in a Spirit as Ancient as he; an Ancestral Spirit that had roamed between the Sheep and the Goats. He stepped down from his place and into the Veritas, where he had been first released back out by the young man before. This Sacred Beast, the Great Elk, who ruled over both Sheep and Goat alike, would find the terror in the wavering spirits of the weaker willed disturbing the natural order of the wavelengths. Yet, in the disturbance of this order, his reason for coming down was not now to further destroy, but to insist upon assisting in fixing this distortion in his waters. His shapeless, barely visible outline formed in the atmosphere from out of what seemed to be a stream of astral energy; the stars connecting all in a cluster and falling from their place in the sky to come down and greet him at the point of this creature's single footstep gracing the land.

"... Well Done, Young One..."

The body of the Sacred Beast continued to solidify in the physical form of his choosing, which was the ancestral combination of what both Goat and Sheep were before parting ways; before their evolution, which it was, once again, time for in his Herd.

"... Become Wise, Like This One," the Chieftan spoke over each of the little ones that did not know the true nature of the Spirits yet, for his soul did not live as a spirit nor grow spiritually strong enough to understand these methods, "... He Will Lead You To Good Water And Food, As He Has Led Us." They had not known, but the Elders were overseeing everything that he did and testing him, but the latest one done in his unknowing, about releasing the Zodiac Spirits he was given instead of trying to keep them for their great power was something they were astonished at, and simply had to come back down to thank him for. And, upon his return, seeing what he was doing for the spirits, the Great Elk could do nothing but express his gratitude for the Great Pumpkin that freed him. "I Have Returned Not Only To Guide You, But Also To Help Him By Partaking In His Game." The Great Elk had seen that there were those who were capable of actually acknowledging and observing the spirits with a special spiritual technique that the humans had finally learned to pick up, which was beginning to change the game for the Elders, as well. Yet, this was good, and the Great Elk saw much good in this. Thus, he stepped down to give his will to the Pumpkinhead here.

"You Are Protected From Danger And Harm Here. Certainly, Unless You Would Invoke It Upon Yourselves, None Shall Pass Over You." The Zodiac Spirits had also been observing how this realm utilized its Energy and the Knowledge that had been given, as well as how it was used. It was a fine land that was growing nicely with the wisdom of the Gods graced down upon it. At first, mankind would abuse and destroy it, and thus it was stripped of the land when the Elders fled so long ago from that realm in the Witch's City, yet, this time, there was something different... and now he could see what it was. This land was good again, and it could be stepped upon with grace and glory, after it had been cleaned so thoroughly. And who to step down into it first but the eldest Goat? *Elder Humor. He moves for no one but himself, much like the Ox that followed, already having made his thorough inspection of the land through the eyes of the Taurus; The Minotaur.

"Yes... He Does Seem To Know How To Treat His Elders With Respect..." There were a few of the bunch that were rather brazen, like the two that his spirit as the Taurus was traveling with. The boy seemed to have a good head on his shoulders, but that woman was nothing good for him, if she did not learn how to be a little less naked. All that looked down on her would truly continue to do so unless she cleaned herself up as a woman. She was certainly too old to be acting so childishly... And they should know. "... So, For You Young Elders In The Masses... This Land He Has Grown Would Treat You Well, As Well." That much, the old bull certain of. "So. We Shall Take Our New Place In The New Circle Of Life," The Great Elk commanded, stepping forth over the land as the giant he was; still as massive as in the days of yore when the spirit roamed freely across the pastures of the new, fresh and green earth. The Ox would follow behind, marching off into the place that was made for him to rest.

"We Have Made Our Decisions, Young Spirits. Now, What Is It That You Shall Do?"

This wisdom of the Experience along with the Exposure of it from the darkness was the true blessing of the Goat and his Sheep, as well as the Taurus and the Ox. Oneness, yet Diversity; the branching off of the horns of the Sheep from one being into the next to change themselves and make themselves more assertive, and the sameness of the Ox and the Taurus on both the Solar and Lunar calendars. These were secrets that only the Elders knew amongst themselves, for they were still playing their old card games with each other, too. It seemed like it would never end, but... something about this told them that eventually, all of their problems would be solved. It looked closer and closer everyday.

"Now Is The Time For You To Decide. Just Like The Rest Of Us That Know When It's Time To Move On."

If certainly, the wisest that oversaw all of their offspring, which were represented as their constellar forms comprised as their astral bodies in the sky, and how much of their spirit they have amassed in all such different places, then certainly, the Zodiac Spirits as a whole, and Sacred Beasts by spiritual influence would be able to have a greater impact on all the spirits that had been witness to them now. Maybe it would be encouraging for the young ones to follow, if they all saw their Elder moving. This sort of wisdom is what brought them to stir in the first place. Hopefully, it would be solved or resolved with their movement alone.

Pumpkinhead was thoroughly shocked and surprised to see that the Sacred Beasts had returned to him after he freed them. The thought that they would just go off and do whatever they wanted to do and be done with it, but... From what he felt inside of him, that's what they were doing. He looked up to the Great Elk that formed before him, speaking on his behalf in front of the crowd. "... Olde One..." he muttered with deep sincerity, but with a soft, almost timid voice from even being considered so highly, as well as his land for it to be graced so immediately. He bowed his head in deep respect at the return of the Sacred Beasts, knowing that it was more than an honor for them to have done so on their own without being asked. There was a severe difference in something being done for you because you wish it and something being done for you because someone else wishes it, which is why he was moved so much as to kneel before them on a single knee as the Ox and the Great Elk walked off.

Once they had gone, he rose back to his feet and glared intensely at the crowd. Not with anger nor hatred, but with passion and severity, as if he were hoping they would see what was blazing in his eyes, as well. "... You See? Even The Elders Have Acknowledged And Blessed This. I Hope That It Is Enough For You." He would wait there patiently to see what they wished to do from here. If they were accepting, he would give them further instruction from there.

There was no doubt about it after each of the younger spirits, including elders to the younger spirits, and even their elders, watched as one of THEIR elders stepped down to speak to them. There was no way that such a large portion of the congregation, especially any others that were moved solely by the sheer magnitude of their presence alone, which could alter a lot of wavelengths just by being observed alone. Some of them had never even known they had an elder such as that, and believed that the one that they were under was the eldest. It was a learning and humbling experience to each of the spirits, old and young alike.

The consensus after that was clear among them. They would allow themselves to be revealed and observed, and in return, they would also learn to work and coexist with the Living, as well as better preserve their Physical bodies once they had them. At first, they didn't know what to say in order to show their support and unanimous positive opinion, but, one young, but very bold voice cried out in a display of vigor, "In This Town...!!!" The echo of his voice reached someone else in the audience, who chimed in, "... We Call Home...!!!" As the Elders walked off, leaving the initial shock of being in their presence for an extended period of time to wear off and have its effect, the rest of the Spirits that agreed would all shout in unison,

"EVERYONE HAIL TO THE PUMPKIN SONG!!!"

With this resounding joyful noise of the spirits, like a choir, they would all suddenly become in tune with the heart and mind of the Pumpkinhead, which was their way of showing him that they were with his spirit and sang in tune with it. Because that seemed to be the song customary for showing the support to this cause and this person, and perhaps this very land itself, that is how they chose to do so. And that's how it would remain with them as they populated his land, as well. Many of them were already fluttering behind the Great Elk and the Ox, on their own, already, excited and energized because of their very presence and wanting to immediately follow behind in their footsteps, knowing that they could one day potentially be like them if they grew their spirits strong enough. Beings like the Sacred Beasts gave them hope... And something to look up to. And, so, under those circumstances, they looked up to and revered this Pumpkinhead, who was acknowledged, and even touched by the grace of the Sacred Beasts.

The hesitation in the crowd is what made even Pumpkinhead scared. He wasn't sure why they weren't understanding what made what he said good for him simply because it also benefited him. Perhaps, they were too focused on his benefit rather than their own, which more emphasis was revolved around, but less was noticed because they knew that this world was getting something out of it. He hoped that's not what was within those spirits... Because honestly, regardless of what the highest would have said, he wouldn't want those sorts of spirits here in the first place. He was still the same old Pumpkinhead deep down, as well, where he kept the fires of his rage, should he so ever have any. He was hoping that nothing would piss him off. He was always hoping for that, actually, because it usually wasn't a good thing unless directed at a bad target. Fortunately, there was very little of that recently.

Though, what happened next surely was the icing on the cake to what had just occurred with the Sacred Beasts that appeared before him. Not only did it seem like the Spirits were supportive of him, they were even singing that silly old song that they just thought was something really cool to sing because they were Pumpkin-themed. Now it had grown into something that was used as a term of honor, respect and endearment, which he was feeling all of from these spirits and their warm embrace. "... The Song..." he uttered under his breath, bowing his head deeply to them as well. "... I Thank You For Your Support." At that point, after being diplomatic and serious had come to an end, and all such official agreements had been reached, it was time for them to party.

Some of the spirits fluttered off without being released... Which was probably showing how wavering they were as they were, since they didn't even know to wait until someone was finished doing something in order to act... But he didn't mind. He admired that they were even happy to be around a Sacred Beast and wouldn't say that if he saw one appear, in all his freshness and youth, that he wouldn't have done the same just to get a glimpse of or be near such a creature. They were going to be released anyway, so. Meh. "... Now Then..."

"LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!"

(Official Release)

He swung his arm through the air and made a pressurized impact like the stroke of thunder, letting the sound of 'The Siren' reverberate all throughout the land. When they heard that sound, it would not only call the spirits, but also tell them to flee if they had already gathered somewhere. He would be their protector, then, as they frolicked in the City and learned of 'Modern Life' whilst also dwelling in the wild in their own habitats.

"Have Fun."

The voices of the Spirits all cheered in their own accord, racing out of the Colosseum in a flood; many even behind the Sacred Beast, which they were wise enough to know not to follow immediately. All had a turn in time, and theirs would come after the Elder's did. Thus, now that they had been officially released, they would fill up the entire Delta, and beyond; wherever the Spirits may have found themselves fluttering to, however they may as they may.

Once the spirits had been released, Pumpkinhead felt as though he could finally be at peace and let everything flow from there. There wasn't anything else he had to do for them except to protect them if they were in trouble... Or, stop them if they ever started causing it. As The Oversoul of the Delta, it was his sworn duty to protect both the Spiritual World and the Physical World, which meant that he was going to have to go and have a word with the school. With the Spirits released, they could finally begin their classes in a regulated manner, like he and Tear agreed on when the Veritas first branched off and stabilized. Now that everything else was solid and grounded, it was alright for them to start teaching again, which hopefully should boost their morale in these trying times.

"It Is Done..." he uttered to himself, calling to the Pumpkinheart from afar. She would know then that he was off to take care of important business at the school, and that she could follow him, if she wished to do so. They were both independent beings, even with their divine union, and each of their decisions was their own to make at all times... But that did not mean that he would leave her out of his decision making, or to join him in any situations he may undergo on his own. She was always welcomed. Yet, as he, she would do her own things and find her own destiny... If his was to protect and avenge the people and the spirits, then what would she do, he wondered? He hoped... She would want to join him. It would mean a lot. Yet, if she did not, then he would not be hurt by her lack of want to be by his side. She had her own issues to deal with, certainly... And so did he. "... Then... Let's be off to the School." He walked out of the Colosseum slowly, starting on his way back to Pandemia as the final lingering spirits fluttered out of the stadium.
