Appearance:
Skin: Her skin tone is a moderate brown color, that can be described as olive. Despite her activities, her skin is soft to the touch with the exception of her hands and feet, roughened from tending to weeds in her garden and walking barefoot through the forest.
Face: She has soft facial features. Her dimples show only in her smile. She has virtually unnoticeable freckles on her slim cheeks. Her almond-shaped eyes are a hazel-green color, although they can appear more green or brown depending on the light. A delicate nose and full lips complete her face.
Body: She has a fit but slender frame. Her wings are often tucked in, but appear golden-brown when extended to their full 220 cm (roughly 7'3", or 3'7 1/2" per wing). Her strength oftentimes comes from her upper arms and legs, the result of years of tending to her garden. Her hands are roughened, as mentioned before, and often muddy, as are her feet. She often walks barefoot, the lone exception being when she is in the village. Her feminine curves are subtle. A birthmark, shaped like a cross on her abdomen, is small but noticeable to those who look close enough.
Attire: She wears simple attire. Shorts or pants, often tattered, and equally mudstained and torn shirts are commonplace for her. She does have less used clothing which she wears to the village. This usually consists of a long-sleeved shirt and a pair of pants, both usually green or brown, her favorite colors. She also owns a dress, but seldom wears it.
Personality: Despite her outward appearance, many describe her as quiet, serene, and innocent, almost like an obedient child. Soft-spoken, she dislikes conflict, but understands how to defend herself if there is a threat to Terra Gris. In fact, the only time she raises her voice is when she is defending the forest. She has a playful nature and loves animals. Rather than spend her free time in the village, she oftentimes spends it climbing trees and singing to the animals. She has a beautiful voice, some would say sublime. Her personality does not change much when she is in the city. She speaks slightly more, out of necessity of trying to sell her crops.

Backstory:
Orphaned at birth, Maria was found in the garden of the Maiden of the Forest as a baby, by the maiden herself. This used to be a commonplace occurance, for when the maiden turns exactly 55, a female child was to be brought to her as her heir. However, as time passes, customs are forgotten, and the Maiden had reached the age of 62 before Maria was left upon a row of strawberry bushes. The Maiden thus raised her to become the next maiden, up until her death when Maria was 15. Since then, Maria has lived on her own as the twenty-first Maiden of the Forest. She brings food to the village in exchange for materials needed to survive
