The Life Of A Shinigami Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Life Of A Shinigami   The Life Of A Shinigami EmptyFri Jul 05, 2019 5:28 pm

Deadly 1: D-Rank Mission

It had been a long time since the Shinigami had come to rest in the Reality. It was a land filled with mystical and fantastical things, but he knew the truth behind what was and what was not. Those children that ran this village, along with the Witches of the Witch Province were definitely those who kept this place intact. Shinigami was only here to oversee the children as they went about with their business, which was to collect souls... As he once did.

He reflected on his past as he posted up a Mission on the Mission List for the Reality Villagers to undertake... His past of reaping and eating souls mercilessly throughout the dimensions. It had been so long since he'd been that way, and though he never had his fill of souls, he was satisfied with being in one place for the moment. He must have been getting old.

The Shinigami was a large and ambiguously designed figure, looking rather amorphous and donning a pitch black robe that seemed to be the void, itself. His face was a simple skull that was attached to the amorphous blob of darkness, and seemed to be the only distinguishing feature that let anyone know where his attention was at any given time. His body did not maintain its structure for very long nor very much, and the Shinigami hovered over the ground like a ghost.

He sighed as he wrote down with a floating pen the 'D-Rank Mission' that was for the children of the Reality Village to undertake.

It read:
Quote :
Place: Hail Valley
Requirements: Water Abilities or Earth Abilities.
Party: 2-3

This mission is restricted to only those who can use either Water or Earth abilities. Fire spirits have been sighted at Hail Valley, burning all of the ice and snow. It is suggested that either 2 or 3 people take on this mission to put them out, since there are quite a few.

Shinigami was concerned about the death toll recently in the world, since there were many people killing for the sake of killing and not to keep the population in order or to eradicate evil, as Shinigami insisted that they do. It was all because of the two very powerful, but very naive children that ran the Reality Village, as well as the equally as arrogant Head Witch of the Witch Province, whom Shinigami knew very well.

The solemn reaper could only continue to ponder to himself about the state of the world in this isolated reality that they lived in and how it could soon fall apart if the balance of souls was out of order, but then, he was interrupted by a villager seeking to take on his mission that he just assigned.

It was a cat girl. She then walked into the room and decided to look at all the stuff in the mission office as she waited for her team. She noticed Shinigami, who had just put up the mission, but did not say anything because she was terrified of his ambiguous and constantly shifting form, even after seeing his face.

"I Sense Your Fear..." Shinigami said, partially solemnly. "No Need To Be Afraid, Little Cat Girl."

He wondered if he should be a little more inviting, like another Shinigami he knew from a different world...

As Shinigami spoke to the frightened cat girl, a dark, shadowy figure with no heart in his chest and a symbol over it to symbolize it walked into the room waving at both the cat girl and Shinigami, then saying "Hey, let's make a bet! Whoever kills the most wins and for their prize they get all the souls captured."

Shinigami was troubled by hearing this from one of the villagers. It seemed like they were losing touch with the reason why they were even harvesting souls at all. It was beyond their growth in power and more about keeping peace and safety of the world, as well as the balance of the universe by allowing more souls to flow through the cycle of heaven and earth. "It Seems As Though They Need More Education..." Shinigami thought to himself, having an idea to create an educational facility for these lost souls.

Soon enough, another villager come toward where the crowd was gathered, this man having a scowl on his face and exuding a great deal of energy that blurred his form into a silhouette. "I would like to take part on this mission," he said.

Shinigami looked at all of them, pondering the things that he'd recently been thinking about and also seeing that the required number of people to partake in the mission had been filled. "Huuuuh... I Guess... YOU ALL ARE APPROVED!!" He gives a thumbs up sign with his amorphous body, which formed into hands specifically for that purpose.

With Shinigami approving them for the mission, the shadowy figure without the heart grabbed his bags and set off for the main street, leaving the city -- and his compatriots -- behind.

Shinigami saw this and wondered about this generation of people and if they were mature enough to handle the task of being reapers.

The cat girl, seeing the heartless shadowy one walk out, bowed to the Shinigami and walked out right behind him, trying to catch up.

The energy being would follow the other two as he flashed Shinigami the thumbs up sign.

Shinigami was pleased to see their enthusiasm, but they had a long way to go in terms of teamwork and cooperation, he could already tell. All Shinigami thought of was his past life, before he acquired this great power as God of Death and was merely Death, itself, alone. Those memories flooded his mind hazily as his body shifted forms grotesquely before imploding on itself, transporting the Shinigami back to his abode.

Deadly 2: Death Battle

A graveyard. With tombstones. Catacombs were everywhere. This environment was the chosen location for the Shinigami to hunt down a hated fiend that did evil in the Reality -- one that was too powerful for anyone else to handle, even the current leaders at the time. Every so often, Shinigami did go out on missions of his own to personally reap the souls of those who were malign and extremely powerful in the world, but usually did not tell anyone about his doings. Having done this in secret and also in a barren location, Shinigami was prepared to go all out.

"Where Are You... Rhaghoul?"

At the beckon of its name would this evil spirit appear in the graveyard in which they would battle, fully decked out with claws, bladed wings, and her sword at its side. It smiled as it waited.

Rhaghoul: "This should be a welcome challenge... God of Death!"

Shinigami immediately sifted forward toward the evil spirit, body fluttering in the blur of the wind that was his one swift motion. With a decisive slice from a scythe that had seemingly only appeared from out of the robe after he'd reappeared, Shinigami hovered behind Rhaghoul with a stern look on his face, as if waiting for something.

There was no sound... and no motion.

It was only moments later that the evil spirit Rhaghoul dispersed into a great deal of spiritual energy, then contracted into the form of a soul behind the God of Death.

It wasn't even a challenge.

"Ah..." Shinigami sighed with a satisfied breath, "The Sweet Sound Of Evil Leaving A Wayward Soul Behind..." Shinigami dropped his scythe -- which seemed to be part of its body as an appendage -- to the ground, slowly inverting his head into his body and popping it out from the other side of his amorphous, floating form. The blob-like spirit that was Shinigami gazed in solemn relief that the soul was no longer contaminated with such wickedness, and that it could be lain to rest again. "Rest In Peace..." Shinigami uttered," It Is Not Yet Your Time To Go Through The Cycle..."

With that, the soul slipped back into the ground harmlessly and assimilated with the earth, finding its rest and solace with the reaper, himself.

Shinigami plucked his blade from the ground, retracting it into his being from whence it came and said a soft prayer for the saved soul, pleased with both his work and its purification. Shinigami did God's work, as God of Death, and was devout to it -- especially after his ordeal with God and the other gods.

But that is a story for another time.

In this instance, Shinigami needed to return home before someone looked upon him and possibly lost their souls, since it was somewhat difficult to actually gaze at him without knowing him, personally or being prepared to meet with him in a safe environment without such occurring. He still was God of Death, and most feared for a reason. "Just One Look..." he said with a hint of sadness, "... Can Take Your Breath Away." He closed his dark, sunken sockets and lowered his head, folding in on himself and imploding as he customarily did to warpspeed travel.

The Life Of A Shinigami Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Life Of A Shinigami   The Life Of A Shinigami EmptyFri Jul 05, 2019 8:11 pm

Deadly 3: Shinigami's Educational Program

The Reality Village had recently made peace with a nearby planet that their Isolated Reality could converge with, and had done so just a short time ago, allowing for inter-reality trade and communication. The residents of the planet seemed a bit primitive compared to those who lived in the Isolated Reality of the Reality Village, but such was to be expected from those who hadn't ever experienced an entire reality floating in between realities suddenly appear and merge itself with their planet. Many people from many of the other nations came to investigate the Reality Village as well as the entire Isolated Reality as a whole, seeing as they had only minimal interaction with it as they were playing with traversing reality and stumbled across it that way.

Regardless, it had been some time since Shinigami had pondered the idea that he had during one of his assignments that he issued out to the Reality Villagers. In fact, that single instance is what brought all of what he was about to present on -- it was a new school! The Reality Village needed to understand the reasons why they were reaping souls as well as the balance of life and death, so Shinigami took his time to establish a school made specifically for that purpose. Therefore, he wished to gather all of the Reality Village together before him that he may introduce the new school which would be opening up on account of Shinigami's thoughtfulness.

Shinigami stood out in front of the gates of the school, awaiting all of the Reality Villagers out there who were interested in learning the arts of the Soul. He figured that Khrona and his brother were doing well, but there were new problems arising that only he and they could fix via Shinigami and his direct education. Hopefully, they showed up... Shinigami already called anyone who used the power of the Soul or who had a Soul Partner, so anyone who fit that criteria was expected to come.

Khrona materialized into the area with Misery and Despair -- his Soul Partners -- by his side, holding his head slightly. "Ugh... Getting close to this place is making my head hurt... Gah... No matter. I will just have to endure for now." Misery and Despair stood silently next to him, staring at Shinigami.

The Sun King, who hailed from the Sun Kingdom -- one of the nations of the planet -- would walk straight to the school gates from the desert, holding out his Soul Partner -- which he had gotten from the Reality Village -- and shaking him into his human form. He hissed, and the Sun King just closed his eyes as he waltzed in.

Sun King: "What's this about then...?"

Dark Sound -- a resident of the Reality -- and his Soul Partner road in on his hoverboad, landing right next to the Sun King as they waited. They, too, were curious about what was going on.

A high ranking Chaos Ninja flash warped into the desert looking around at everyone, recognizing Khrona and the Sun King, but not the other two. "Is there a problem here?"

In a cool and eerie breeze, Maruze's presence was known, his hair flailing in the wind. He was a wandering samurai with a Soul Weapon known as Waru, his sword, which was in his hand. However he, for the first time in an extremely long time, assumed his normal form of a demon about half of Maruze's height.

Waru: Eh? What could be going on here?

Maruze stayed silent.

Tear -- a Soul Weapon, himself -- appeared from a puddle of liquid that randomly appeared on the ground. It then got absorbed into himself. He had used his Soul Transmission to transfer his body to this place via his own soul. He sighed, staring at Shinigami and the gathering crowd, "This is going to be a most dreary announcement, I would presume. Huh. How I could come to weep..."

A leader of the Deep faded onto the scene, looking around at the not so familiar faces. She only recognized Khrona, and wondered why the hell an elite Chaos shinobi was here. "Hmm, Khrona, what's going on?"

Sting, another Soul Weapon, walked in nonchalantly, his rapier extended from his palm for some reason. It retracted quite sleekly and he placed his hands in his pockets, staring at Shinigami and saying nothing to anyone.

A notorious kid ran onto the scene. He was always late... But he had his Soul Weapon with him.

Likewise, a strange young lady with mystical light power flashed into the area. She looked around at all the people.

The Enigma preformed one of his flashy entrances, forming from a portal that was instantly created from the ground. He was seen holding a very particular staff that the glass orb on the top was glowing various colors.

Khrona's brother as well as his Soul Partners -- who were also his attendants -- flash into the area, both the attendants clinging to Khrona's brother's legs. "Sorry we're late..."

Eventually, more and more people showed up, and a large crowd gathered around Shinigami. After that, Shinigami looked around, figuring that everyone was here. Any who weren't would hopefully be informed. "Ahem... I Am Very Grateful That You All Have Come Here..." Shinigami began, sounding both formal and authoritative, "And To Start Off This Important Meeting, Let Me Just Say... WHAT'S UP WITH YOU~!?!?" Shinigami gave the V-sign with his 2 fingers that were part of his amorphous robe, then began to float around playfully.

"You All Who Are Or Wield Soul Weapons Must Be Educated On How To Collect Souls Properly, As Well As How To Utilize Your Own And Ultimately Keep The Balance Of The Flow Of Souls In Order." Shinigami said a mouthful, but he continued after a short pause, "The School Is Specifically Made To Train, Teach And Hone Your Soul Weapon, Soul Energy, Soul Abilities, And Much, Much More! This Will Assist You All Greatly In The Road To Becoming Divine Beings!" Those who did not know about the aspect of becoming a Divine Being, Shinigami would explain to them thoroughly in a classroom setting.

"I Entrusted The Power Of These Soul Weapons To Khrona And His Brother, However Because They Are The Leaders Of This Village, They Couldn't Effectively Teach Everyone About The Special Abilities Or All Of The Great Perks Of These Weapons, Or Even Any Soul Abilities." Shinigami shook his head, shrugging his shoulders as he sighed, before perking up again and continuing. "And So, I Decided To Help Out By Having The School Open Up! Besides That, I Know More About Them Than Those Two Put Together, Right Khrona-chan~?"

He waved at them.

"WELL, I HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL HERE!"

Shinigami then calmed down a bit.

He sighed. "Well. Now That The Introduction Is Out Of The Way... It Is Of Dire Importance That You Come To School And Hone Your Abilities... Mostly Because Very Few Of You Will Stand A Chance Against The Threats To Come That Can Only Be Defeated With The Soul..." Shinigami paused again, looking down toward the crowd a bit sullen. "A Falshin Is Upon Us. A Demon God. He May Be The Most Threatening Thing To You At The Moment. If We Allow The Falshin To Roam Free, His Evil Will Spread Throughout The Land And Corrupt All Of Your Souls, Making You All Wicked As Well. You Will Become Soul Hungry Fiends With No Control Over Yourselves, And Ultimately, You Will Possibly Become Evil Falshin As well..."

Shinigami stopped, hoping that everyone understood what he was saying. This school was more important than just their education about themselves -- it was about how to keep the balance and order of souls stable between the worlds.

"I Would Stop This Threat Myself, However After Building The School And Dealing With... Private Affairs... My Soul Has Become Weak, And I Need A Lot Of Time To Recover." Shinigami sighed. "Anyway. We Must Stop The Falshin Before This Insanity Spreads And You All Become Corrupted In Your Souls. You All Must Attend This School, Or At Least Make Frequent Visits To Hone Your Skills, For This Is What Having A Soul And Soul Weapon Is About. As Long As You Do Not Fall To The Evils Of The Falshin... Because If You Become An Evil Soul..." Shinigami's voice became deep and demonic "... Then I Will Deal With You MYSELF."

He suddenly smiled and became friendly.

"ANY QUESTIOOOONS~!?"

The notorious kid and his Soul Partner waited for that one dumb person to ask.

The Enigma's eyebrow rose when the Shinigami was happy. It sickened him, yet the mention of a Falshin sparked the Enigma's ego that this was a dangerous task indeed. "None from me..."

One of the attendants of Khrona's brother looked to Shinigami, smiling, and gave a childish giggle as see motioned her finger up and down to his movement. The other puffed her cheeks, clinging to Khrona's brother's leg looking very agitated.

Attendant: "Why is this old fart barking out orders when he can't do anything himself!?"

Khrona's Brother: "Hey!! Mind your manners... This is Shinigami and you will show him respect."

Attendant: Fine... Hmph!!

The attendant puffed her cheeks some more and crossed her arms.

"I'm good with this," said the elite Chaos ninja. His Soul Partner and Spirit Partner came out into there spirt forms looking around at the people around him.

Shinigami looked around. "Huuuuh... No Questions? Well, I Hope All Of You Will Be Attending This School Soon!" After that matter was settled, Shinigami did have one more issue to address, "With The Exceptions Of Khrona, His Brother, The Leader Of The Deep Village, Tear, And Sting, You All Should Find Out What Your Souls Are Attributed To, Whether It Be A Feeling -- Like Khrona -- Or An Object -- Like Tear. The Teachers Of This School Will Be Myself... And Of Course, The Divine Beings And Their Maestros. Khrona, His Brother, His Brother's Attendants, Misery, Despair, And Tear, Have Fun Teaching You All!" Shinigami waved at them and chuckled heartily, having assigned them right on the spot. "Alright! Let's Start This Off With A Passion!"

Shinigami melted into himself upon the ground, which led straight to his office. Immediately afterward, the gates opened, revealing the entrance to this magnificent school.

The Chaos elite was the first to speak up, saying, "Well, you haven't gotten any training lately, so you wanna go?" His Soul and Spirit Weapons nodded as they walked towards the entrance of the school.

The Enigma walked forward towards the school, using his staff as a cane for some reason. What injured the Enigma was a mystery also.

Khrona sighed "... I get the feeling that I'm gonna be the one to look at all of these souls..." Khrona shook his head, beginning to walk into the school, Misery and Despair right behind him.

Misery: "I can't wait to whip this load of bastards into shape..."

Despair: "Oh, what melancholy bliss that will be spread throughout the gloomy academy hallways~!"

One final straggler would appear quite late to this whole event; she had been busy watching people and things through the Water Mirror in her leader's Castle. She watched a bit of this meeting from there but then decided it best to be there in person, she departed from the castle and soon after arrived. "Geez I hope I didn't miss much..." She began looking around, hoping to find a way to gather up any information that she had missed... She would have to tell her leader -- the second leader of the Deep -- about this little gathering later.

Suddenly, an intense blast of random information from earlier in the meeting shot the girl SQUARE in the brain. It was Khrona sending out a psychic blast since he had known that she had come. He was sharing the info of what happened earlier, everything that Shinigami said, also with an added note 'Next time you're late, there will be repercussions.'

The lass was hit with this flood of information suddenly, and it left her a bit confused and stupid... It also left a weird tingly feeling...? "So that's what happened...I wonder what those repercussions would be..." She thought on it briefly and decided it best to not discover what these repercussions would be. "... On second thought... Nevermind..."

Deadly 4: Soul Weapon Training

With each of the heads of the Reality Village all coming together to teach in the school that Shinigami created for the education of the soul, many of the new students and old students had to go to see Shinigami, himself in order to actually learn certain things from his careful instruction.

After being ejected from Khrona's office another new student along with his Soul Weapon partner appeared in the classroom hoping to find someone who could help them learn how to work together.

Shinigami pops in from a swirling mass of darkness unfolding from itself, staring at the single guy in the classroom with his partner. "... Huh..." He happily acknowledged him with a "Hi! Who Are You? Transfer Student?"

The student scratched his head in confusion as one of his alter egos started to speak.

Alter Ego: "Um, no. You could call us new students, not transfer."

Shinigami would come closer. "Yes... So, What Brings You To My Class?"

Alter Ego: Well Shinigami-sama, we like to learn how to work together as Weapon and Maestro.

Shinigami nodded. "Oh! Joy! I Will Have You Learn From Tear. He Has A Flexible Soul And Is A Divine Being, So He Will Be A Wonderful Teacher For You. Let Me Go Get Him Now..." Shinigami folded in on himself to get Tear.

As Shinigami leaves the Soul Weapon grabbed her partner's arm with a smile on her face.

Partner: "Isn't this great? Now we can learn how to work together."

The maestro would only smile and they would then wait for Shinigami to return with Tear.

Tear came in by himself, looking about the room and seeing his student. "... Well, hello there, new student. Shinigami has told me that you wish to learn how to use your weapon partner? My my, how difficult this will be for future people since this is a private session... Oh, if only people came in groups so such repetition will not take place..." He cleared his throat. "So. I am guessing we should get started, hm?"

Both the students would bow showing respect to Tear. The weapon girl would then step forward.

Weapon: "We we are ready whenever you are, Tear-sensei. So what do you want us to do first?"

Tear nodded. "Well. You must first connect with your partner mentally before you can do much more..."

Weapon: "Well, we made some close connections when we first met so what else should we do?"

Tear sighed. "Well It takes more than just a few compliments, you know. You must understand how each other thinks and feels, able to make your souls connect. Anyone can give a few petty compliments..." Tear lowered his head, "Now, if you would please be so kind as to try again...?"

Weapon: Oh then I think I know what really blocks the connection between me and my partner. I am very talkative but unlike me, he always use his alter ego to talk to everyone around him. So his alter ego is able to create a distance between those around him, including me...

Before the weapon could finish her sentence a loud noise came from behind her. When she turned around, she saw her partner standing right in front of her and see would also see his alter ego had disappeared.

Maestro: It is not that I don't want to talk in person, it's just that I am afraid. I always used to be feared by my own village so I thought it would be better to use an alter ego so I would not hurt anyone or get hurt myself.

The weapon girl smiled and then grabbed her partner's hand.

Weapon: Well you don't have to worry about that anymore, partner, because you have friends now who will always help you -- like Tear-sensei and me. I understand because I can tell you have a very kind soul.

The maestro would look at his weapon partner and he would also smile.

Maestro: Thank you partner and I can also tell that you have a very uplifting soul, always able to help those who are felling down.

Soon, a werewolf would walk into the training room with his Soul Partner coming in behind him. He noticed two people here and felt the difference in power between the two; perhaps one is the teacher and the other a student. "Um excuse, me but is this a private teaching?"

Tear would shed a tear as the partners already bonded. "Yes... Yes... Now you two are ready... Ready to advance further... Such agonizing beauty can only be made by a Weapon and a Partner... Makes me remember why I became a teacher for Shinigami-sama..." Tear would then turn to the werewolf, who had just walked in. "No, this is not a private session... I am quite happy to teach any who want to learn... It's what a classroom is for, non?" Tear nodded at the werewolf, giving his deadly, nonchalant smile.

Maestro: So does that mean I can try using my partner's weapon form Tear-sensei?

Tear nodded, "Yes, go ahead."

Maestro: Okay partner, let's give it our best shot.

The weapon partner nodded and then she would glow. In a burst of light she would wrap around her partner's arm, turning into a pendulum with a gauntlet to hold the sharp crystal.

The werewolf nodded as he looked towards his soul weapon and she turned herself into her chain-scythe form. "I'm ready to learn Tear-sama."

Tear slightly raised his hand. "Well. You do know the best way to learn is through battle, non? You two are just trying to become good with your partners, am I right? You will learn the art of Soul Abilities when you two become stronger and your souls are more bonded... But as of right now, you two have a choice. You may battle me, your teacher, or battle each other. Choose now before we make our way to the battle room."

The maestro would close his eyes an think for a moment. After a moment, he opened his eyes. "Well what do you think, partner?"

The crystal would slowly fall down from the holder and would float in the air connected by metal wire to the holder. The crystal would then begin to glow and then slowly rise, then point toward Tear.

Maestro: "Looks like me and my partner want to fight with you, Tear-sensei."

Werewolf: "Well then, I guess we're going to fight you then, Tear-san."

Tear's nonchalant smile got slightly larger and he closed his eyes. "Alright. Meet me in one of the Battle Rooms. If you get lost, feel free to use a map in the hallway...." Tear released a single teardrop from his eye, it falling to the ground and then creating a surge of water that encircled him. "Soul Transmission..." In an instant, Tear was gone, already in the battle room.

The maestro would hold up his partner in weapon form and the crystal would then point in the direction of Tear. He would then walk out of the room following the pendulum toward the battle room.

The werewolf would then follow behind them into the battle room.

The Life Of A Shinigami Empty

Deadly 5: Dropped At The Gate

From the room in the council building, another new student was dropped from a portal and fell in front of the school gate. The new student tightly held the arms of the chair very nerved racked from the sudden drop. "W... What... W... What is with these people??!!"

Shinigami, head of the school, could be seen standing in front of the gates. For what reason? No one knows. He seemed to be explaining something about his school to random people that seemed to watch the first 3 episodes of the a particular anime he had gotten the idea to make a school from. He turned toward the newcomer "Hm? My, What A Cute Little Weapon You Are! What's Your Name, Weapon?"

The new weapon student, still startled, slowly stood from his chair... his entire body trembling. "I... I... I'm..."

Shinigami's amorphous hands extended out from his body mass, grabbing the studeny by the back of his shirt "Huuuuuh... Afraid...? What Brings You To My School? ARE YOU A NEW STUDENT?"

"Ahh...!!" The weapon student squirmed around after being grabbed. "I... I was sent here by Khrona's brother. I'm looking for a person named Shinigami!"

Shinigami laughed. "Haahahahaaa! I AM SHINIGAMI!!!" He dropped the student, slapping his two hands together "And If Khrona's Brother Brought You Here, Then You Must Be Worth Something! Let's Go To The Battle Room! You'll Fight One Of The Weapons Or Maestros Here And Then I Can See Your Ability First Hand!" Shinigami extended his amorphous body around the student and sucked him in, taking himself inside of himself to warp into the school.

Deadly 6: Informing Shinigami

One of Khrona's brother's attendants walked down the large hallway leading to Shinigami's office in a hurry. She finally got to the office door and knocked. She had came on Khrona's brother's behalf and needed to inform Shinigami on the upcoming meeting.

The doors opened, Shinigami morphing into a variety of forms before setting himself on one, extending a mass of his dark form out as a hand and waving "Hello! Who Are You, Cute Little Chibi-chan?"

The attendant was lost in Shinigami's morphing, as if it were hypnotic. Her eyes glazed.

Attendant: "Bouncy bouncy bouncy!"

She quickly snapped herself out of her childish trance.

Attendant: Umm... Shinigami-sama. I was sent here by Khrona's brother to give you a heads up on the fact that all the Reality leaders will be on their way here for a meeting.

Shinigami sighed, "Meeting, Hm? What Could They Be Up To...?" Shinigami looked down at the attendant. "... Well, Little Chibi-kun... MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME!!!"

The attendant smiled at Shinigami and just started floating around the room, examining everything in the office. She was quite fascinated.

Deadly 7: Meeting Of Reality Leaders

Khrona's brother walked through Shinigami's meeting room door. All the other Reality leaders had been informed of this meeting and all he had to do was wait for them to show. See he had shown his attendant that rushed to him and hugged his leg tightly. "Oh hey," Khrona's brother said as he gave the attendant a pat on the back. She hugged him and waved to Shinigami. "Hello there Shinigami. Hope you don't mind this on such short notice."

Khrona appeared, though a little later than it should have taken, being an instantaneous warp and all. He had the remains of small children and fries in his hand, "... Sorry we're late. We stopped off for some souls and fries before we got here. Now, what's going on?"

Zita busted in through the door, randomly jumping off of her broom and into a chair of chains that randomly appeared. "Well. I'm up now, so, let's get this show on the road."

Shinigami stared at Zita. "... I Wasn't Expecting The Head Witch To Be Here. But... Since We Have Made A Pact With The Reality, We Cannot Harm You And Any Of Your Good Witches... So Long As You Don't Harm Us." Shinigami then turned to Khrona and his brother, "... So. What's This All About, Hmmmm?"

Khrona's brother's attendant hid herself behind him as soon as Khrona arrived; her face was red from blush. Khrona's brother just gave a sigh at Khrona's entrance. "For the love of God Khrona, you're a grown man. Why do you like the kiddy meals so much?" He turned and noticed Zita's... Random entrance, his other attendant floating in shortly after her. Khrona's brother's face began to blush as he pointed to Zita. "Zita... What are you wearing?"

Attendant: *facepalm*

Khrona's brother cleared his throat and turned to the group. "A... Anyway... I've called everyone here because our home, The Reality Village, is in great danger from many forces." He started pacing. "Falshin, Medusa, Eva, and now End. All of these enemies can easily match our skill if not surpass it. Each enemy my have different reasons for attacking the Reality but nonetheless they are still all attacking. We need to band together and think of away to fight these people before it's too late."

Just then, some Dimensional Energy swirled in, exploding from it, the lovable pumpkin headed drifter, Tigen! "TIGEN IS HEEEEERE... for some questions." Tigen didn't recognize anyone "... Isn't this the Twilight? Tigen needs answers for finding out where Pumpkinhead is, but someone said to Tigen that Tigen should go to the Twilight... This isn't that, is it?"

Khrona scoffed "Well, I'm only 15, brother...!! Although, technically, I could be any age I see fit... BUT MY REAL AGE IS ONLY 15! I can't help it if my two weapons enjoy the souls of small children the most... And I like the fries they serve."

Misery licked her lips, "Damn good kids right there. You don't get children as innocent as that anymore. Hahaha."

Despair nodded, "Oh, how woeful their eyes were as we ripped apart their cute little bodies~!"

Khrona thought about it, "... Won't you two and me turn into a Falshin if we eat the souls of innocents?"

They all paused. Then they all coughed at the same time.

Khrona: "SO ANYWAY. Yeah, brother.. That End one... He was the one inside of you, right? We haven't a clue where Medusa and Falshin are... And Eva... Some other power is with her, and it isn't like we can rush her castle or anything..."

Khrona then looked at the one called 'Tigen...' Who surprisingly looked a lot like their former recruit, Pumpkinhead. "Your brother is Pumpkinhead? Hey, brother, didn't Pumpkinhead used to be one of our Elites?"

Khrona's brother started examining Tigen. "Yeah he was... But he never said anything about him having a brother."

Zita scowled at Shinigami, "We aren't gonna touch your old bones." She then looked at Khrona's brother. "Well. If we band together, wouldn't we have to stop them one at a time? From who was most dangerous to who was the least?... Heh, but how the hell would we calculate who was MOST dangerous from the others? Besides... I get on Eva's ass, we can have her begging on her knees in no time!!" But she did take note of that 'other power' that Khrona was talking about... Maybe it would make the battle with Eva that much harder... She stared at Tigen, who randomly warped in, but said nothing about it. Just... Stared.

Tigen warped near Khrona's brother, "OOO! YES! TIGEN IS PUMPKINHEAD'S BROTHER! WHERE IS PUMPKINHEAD NOW? TIGEN NEEDS TO KNOW! TIGEN NEEDS TO GET HIM AND SUBDUE HIM BEFORE HE DESTROYS A DIMENSION... Agaaaaain..." Tigen poked Khrona's brother's head, Tigen's head floating all around Khrona's brother's body. "Oh, and can you tell Tigen more about Zetsumbabwe? That's where they say he is, but Tigen doesn't know where that is or what that is..."

Shinigami first addressed Khrona's brother, "Falshin Can Spread His Insanity To Anyone, And Paired Up With The Snake Medusa, Those Two Might Be The Most Dangerous Out Of Them All... Though, I Know Nothing Of End And Eva, But If Falshin Were To Get His Insanity Into Them, There May Be No Stopping Them From Obliterating Everything..."

But Shinigami stopped to take note of Tigen. "OH, WHAT A CUTE LITTLE PUMPKIN-CHAN~! Oh Pumpkin-chan~!" Shinigami began to pat Tigen's floating head a bit, now distracted.

With each poke Khrona's brother slowly got more and more pissed. "STOP IT!!!" He took a deep breath, calming himself down. "I don't know where Pumpkinhead is now but I can tell you Zetsumei isn't a where, it's a group. There rouge ninjas that abandoned their villages. If they even had one to begin with."

Khrona's brother then addressed Shinigami 's statement. "If that's true then the first thing we must do is take out Falshin. His ability to spread insanity is far to dangerous to ignore."

Khrona sighed, "But if we take out Falshin, what are we gonna do about that End one? Couldn't he make that big ass World Ender that destroyed the condos just come out and attack again? Or couldn't he attack himself?" Khrona thought about it... "... If we're gonna take them out one at a time, don't we need to subdue or occupy the rest for a while?"

"That's true... If End and I clashed, it could would be bad for everyone, and if you go after Falshin, Khrona, he'd just make you into his insane puppet again. So if we did go after them I'd have to go after Falshin and Khrona would go after End. But then there's Medusa and Eva... Plus their followers." Khrona's brother rubbed his head in frustration. "Man this is irritating."

The Life Of A Shinigami Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Life Of A Shinigami   The Life Of A Shinigami EmptyTue Jul 30, 2019 2:00 pm

Deadly 8: Evaluating Waves

Shinigami reappeared in one of the Battle Rooms, a wide open space that looks heavily reinforced. He drops a person from out of his cloak, saying, "Now, New Student... You Will Have To Fight One Of My Students. Just Wait, I'm Sure One Of Them Will Show Up... Eventually...!!"

The new student got up from the ground and brushed himself off. "Those men in black did tell me to expect the unexpected when I meet you. I guess they where right." The new student sighed and waited with Shinigami for a student to show.

Sting idly walked through the door, leaning against the doorway's entrance with a foot up on the door as well, his signature chilly and piercing gaze greeting the eyes of Shinigami and the new student. "... I assume a battle is about to begin here. May I be the next challenger?"

Shinigami turned "Oh! Sting! Another Weapon! Well, New Student, You Will Be Fighting With Sting. The Battle Is Simple; Both Of You Will Fight Until The Other Cannot Or Until I Say Stop. Ready? Start Whenever You Are Ready!"

"Ahh... A fight? With him?" The new student gave out a sigh as anchor fronts protruded from the top of his wrists. "I hate that we had to meet like this but it's nice to meet you Sting."

Sting nodded. "Likewise." He dashed at the new student abruptly, a blade popping out of his palms. Once he was close enough, he jumped over the new student, stabbing at him rapidly from above with both hands moving at incredible speeds before landing behind him.

The new student brought both of his anchor arms up to completely shield himself from the stabbing above following their moving path. He released his guard once the stabbing stopped and turned to Sting that landed behind him to slam into him with extreme force and release a blast of energy at a point blank range, blowing Sting away. The blast of energy took the form of a shark and followed Sting's path after being blown away, threatening to bite him with its razor sharp teeth that would rip his flesh.

Sting implanted a rapier into the ground after being hit, the flimsiness allowing him to be flung back at the newbie with twice the speed and force. His other hand became a drill then, swirling extremely fast, the vacuum and power from it destroying the shark completely -- then he continued for the new student. "Destructive Drill." The space around the drill began to warp and twist in a spiral, just as the drill was. If it touched the student, he would be twisted like the drill was before quickly snapping back and being forced a long ways away with a great and powerful force.

The newbie swung his hands into the air and from underneath him soul energy shot up from out of the ground launching him into the air and leaving a blast of soul energy for Sting to run into, and at his speed it'll be hard for him to stop.

The soul energy would become distorted and shattered once coming within range of Sting. Sting then stopped, staring at Wave in the air.

"Heavy Spin."

He raised his drill and it began to spin, instantly creating a tornado from it that would suck in everything, including the new student. Sting then readied his Rapier, because once the newbie came in close, he would use his Rapier Machinegun lined with soul energy, meaning that every time he would touch the student, his soul energy would be ruptured and depleted along with his wavelength.

The student cocked back his arm, it twists around and a coating of soul energy formed around his body.

"Take this!!"

The newbie punched his spinning hand at the tornado and released the soul energy around it making a soul energy tornado of his own spinning in the opposite rotation of Sting's. The two tornadoes clashed and canceled each other out.

The new student would then cock back both of his arms and restored the missing soul energy coating to his other arm before twisting them like before. The newbie would then punch his fists forward in Sting's direction repeatedly in a blurry rapid barrage that would create the illusion of he having multiple arms. The souls energy around the student's arms would be released, again creating tornadoes of soul energy formed out of his fists. So in addition to the punches it would look as if a horde of tornadoes where coming at Sting's direction.

Sting had something for this.

To prevent being hit by the multiple punches, he would simply use his Rapier Machinegun to continuously counter with a rapier blade moving at the same speed, if not faster, and then to finish them he would use his "Rotary Winder..."

This would be useful for this situation because of the fact that if the newbie's arms were flimsy enough to extend that far out, then they must be flimsy enough to be curled into the drill at their base, meaning that once they got close, both arms would instantly wrap around the drill and be stuck like gunk. The tornadoes should then have no effect, and if they did, a drill would shoot out of Sting's back and front and counter them with spinning, both in opposite directions.

Now, since the newbie's arms were wrapped in the drill, Sting had full ability to use the "Soul Bind!" technique. A binding curl would wrap around the new guy's soul, hindering him from using Soul Wavelength and Soul Energy. Now since that was over... Sting cocked back, most likely pulling Wave with him and unraveled his arms, so they would shoot back and smack him in the face.

Shinigami sighed, putting up his hands, "Alright, Alright... Settle Down You Two..."

But they didn't seem to be listening.

Shinigami got a little angry now, "... Hey... Hey..."

They weren't listening.

Steam shot from Shinigami's eyes and nose "OSHIOKIYO!!!!!" He SHMACKED THE SHIT out of the both of them, sending them both flying into walls with blood spewing out of their heads in a comical fashion "... New Student! You Have Passed! GOOD JOB!" Shinigami gave the thumbs up before folding in on himself, signaling that this was over.

The Life Of A Shinigami Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Life Of A Shinigami   The Life Of A Shinigami EmptyTue Jul 30, 2019 2:52 pm

Deadly 9: ... Shinigami-sama, A New Student...

Tear walked in with a Soul Weapon in his arms. He saw the podium in the middle of the abysmal void of an office. It was a small room, except there were miles and miles of nothing but graves because of some sort of spacial paradox Shinigami had within his quarters. Anywho, Tear would walk up to the mirror and set the Soul Weapon down. Hopefully she was okay.

On the other end, in an eternal blackness of what seemed to be just... endless void that peered into other places all over the world, Shinigami would manifest from the void. "Hi~! Hello~! HOW ARE YOU TODAY~!?!?" He stared at Tear, then at the one on the floor "Hmmm? Who Is That, Tear-kun? Is It A... New Student?"

Tear stepped back to give Shinigami room to come out. "Yes, she is a new student... another weapon, in fact. Partnerless. She fights well enough to be by herself, anyway. I do not believe she will be good in a pairing..." Tear turned to Shinigami, giving his nonchalant smile, "I wish for her to train directly under me, if you do not mind? You do know that we are lacking in the Soul Angels lately... Khrona and his brother are the only ones with Soul Angels and they are always taking theirs out. I cannot do this alone, you know..."

Shinigami sighed "Huuuh... Yes, Yes... This Is True, Tear-kun... We Are In Dire Need Of More Soul Angels... ALRIGHT, IT'S FINE WITH MEEEE!!! New Student, ACCEPTED!" He looked back down to her. "Wonder When She Will Come To..."

A couple moments after Shinigami gave his okay, the Soul Weapon would be wrestling around at Tear's feet. Eventually she sat upright and dusted herself off. She then looked at Tear, of whom she remembered from the battle, and then she looked at Shinigami, of whom she was deftly afraid of right now.

"What the hell is that?" she screamed, backflipping from sitting position into a fighting stance with her hands pointed towards Shinigami.

Tear chuckled a bit "This, my dear, is Shinigami-sama. He is the creator of this institution and the one who runs the college. You could say, he is like the principal?" Tear walked closer to her gripping her hand gently and guiding her toward Shinigami, "He's a bit of a joker, but he holds great power within... And he is a kind hearted person... And... He has permitted you to attend in this facility." Tear closed his eyes, letting her hand go as she was in front of him. "... And he has allowed you to become my personal apprentice..."

Shinigami held up a hand and said in a playful fashion "Hi~! Welcome To The College! If You Need Anything, Feel Free To Come To Me! And Be Sure To Listen To Tear-kun, Alright Miss...?"

Tear gave his attention to the Soul Weapon now, holding a finger to his chin when she asked the question "You wish to begin, hm? Well... I would assume that you know very little to nothing about Soul Energy, the Soul Synchro or Soul Abilities, do you? We must start with the basics, then..." He scooped her up "Please, allow me to escort you to the classroom. You still look a bit tired from my battle... If you would be so kind?" He stared into her eyes a bit and then continued to carry her off.

Deadly 10: Falling In...

A witchling would fall on her butt right in front of the gates of the school, where Khrona's brother insisted her to go. She swore loudly as she got up, making an oath not to be surprised again, and knowing that could never be kept, she looked at the gates, wondering where this Shinigami was -- or whatever its name was. "HELLO!!!!"

In front of Chidoka, a large, black being with a skull face appeared from seemingly nowhere. "HEY THERE~! HI THERE~~! HO THERE~~!!!! How Can I Be Of Servi~ce?" Shinigami looked down. "Huuh... A Cute Little New Student, Or Are You Just Here For A Tour?"

The witchling looked up at the figure that appeared. "Um... Leader-sensei sent me... So a new student I guess...." She blushed a little, not sure what this was about.

Shinigami's large, sharp, claw-like hands appeared from the blackness of his body. "OH~! NEW STUDENT!! Come, We Shall Go Get You Set Up With A Partner~!" Shinigami pulled the girl through himself, instantly leading into his office.

The Life Of A Shinigami Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Life Of A Shinigami   The Life Of A Shinigami EmptyWed Jul 31, 2019 1:34 pm

Deadly 11: New Student, Witchling~!

Shinigami came through the inversion of himself, the witchling in his large claw. He dropped her and laughed a bit "Alright, Alright! Tell Me Your Name And What Weapon You Would Like From This Book, Huuuuh~? I Will See If The Weapon You Choose Is Compatible With Your Soul~?"

"Ahhh... I'm a Witchling... From the Witch Province..." She looked through the book, not sure of what he wants her to do, not even sure what the whole book and weapon thingy was -- so she flipped through the book a bit until she found something that she liked. "Here... This is nice..." She would point out a sword that extends out as a whip, too.

Shinigami sighed. "Him? Hmmm..." Shinigami looked at the witchling's soul, then at the weapon. "... Perhaps A Bit Advanced, But With A Bit Of Training And A Bit Of Bonding Of Your Souls, There Is A Chance Of Greatness... Haha, But I Wouldn't Get My Hopes Up~! You Can Have Him~!" A door randomly appears and a guy walks out from the abyss of it, seeming to come from nowhere.

She would look around at the man, wondering who he was.

Soul Weapon: "Hello there, little lady."

Her eyebrows would raise, as she realized what just happened, and she would turn to Shinigami, "Is that... My weapon...?"

Shinigami would bounce about a bit "Yes! This Is Your Weapon. This School Is A Special School That Allows People To Use Soul Weapons, Or Beings Able To Transform Into Weapons And Synchronize Your Own Power Via Connection To The Soul. Isn't That Convenient~?"

"I see..." The witchling would keep staring at the man, quite confused... She thought she was getting an actual weapon. Guess not. "So... What can he do...?"

Shinigami laughed a bit. "What Can He Doooo~? Change Into A Weapon, Obviously! He Cannot Do Much Without You. He Is Not An Independent Weapon Nor Is He A Soul Angel, So He Needs A Partner To Wield Him And Use Their As Well As His Soul Energy."

"I see..." She would give the man another look as he stood next to her, wondering about this Soul Energy stuff. It must have been some energy like chakra that both of us had, and that she would gather from both of us, when he was a weapon, and that she would use. "Can he, or maybe we do anything specific when he transforms, and I use him in his weapon form...?"

The man meanwhile stands there, his hands in his pockets, as he listens and watches the witchling babble on with questions. He finally reaches around, and puts his arm around his shoulders. "You talk too much, we'll figure that out when we work together"

She gave a surprised look as he put his arm around her shoulders, thinking that he must at least like her enough to extend this gesture of what she considered friendship. "Ok..." She would keep looking at Shinigami for the answer to the questions that she asked.

Shinigami claps his hands together, "Ooh~! What A Cute Little Chibi-chan~! In His Weapon Form, He Would Be Totally, Ultimately In~De~Struct~I~Ble~!! But... That Does Not Mean He Does Not Get Hurt!" Shinigami patted them on their heads. "Oh Yes~! You May Reap The Souls Of Things That You Kill With Your Weapon So That He May Become A Soul Angel! Other Abilities Depend Strictly On Your Soul And Your Wavelength... And What The Soul Angels And Higher Maestros Tell You! You Should Take A Class!"

Being tapped on the head made her feel like a child, and that's not what she wanted to be treated like. She reddened slightly, both from the anger and from her partner's arm still being around her shoulders. And being called 'cute' on top of it. "What class are you talking about....? Like, at a school...?"

"They only have classes at a school, cutie." The Weapon didn't seem to mind the patting on the head, or calling the witchling 'cutie'. She, however, went even redder. Being told something obvious, and being called a form of the word "cute" again had just about pushed her over the deep end, as she let out a deep breath trying to calm herself. It came out more as a growl that the man would give her a funny look at for.

Shinigami continues to pat the witchling. "Welllll... This Is My School! The Shinigami Academy!"

"I see...and where can I find this school so that I can attend?" the witchling would say, just about ready to grab Shinigami's wrist and break it from the excessive patting. The man would still be smiling as he was staring at her sideways. "Just think, we get to attend school together... And you get to try me out..."

Shinigami would laugh hysterically "Aaaah, What A Cute Little Chibi-chan~! The School You Are Looking For...? YOU'RE IN IT!!!" He would bounce around a bit more "Ooooh, But You Are Not Of This Village, Am I Correct? Hmmm.. We Cannot Teach You Much... Just The Bare Minimum... Huuuuuuh..."

"Actually, I am of this village, I just put in my request to Leader-sensei, and he accepted, and then sent me here... But he didn't give me a headband, or ranking or anything..." she would say, feeling slightly disappointed. "I assume we cannot go any farther until these things are completed...?" Her voice would grow softer, as her head drooped a bit, feeling as though she was a complete failure, and that she would have to start this whole process over again. The man would squeeze her tighter, trying to comfort her.

Shinigami patted her head "Ooooh, Unfortunately Not!! But At Least You Have Your Weapon, Little Chibi-chan~!! Isn't That Good Enough For The Moment?"

Deadly 12: Geko Geko... Shinigami-sama... I Need Some Souls...

Kaerei would appear out of a puddle in Shinigami's office, eyes hidden under her hat, "Geko geko... Shinigami-sama...? Yes... I am in need of some... Soooouls.."

Shinigami would stare at Kaerei "Hrrrm? Souls, Kaerei-chan? Well... Hhuuuuuuh... Well, There Has Been An Outbreak Of Monsters Lately In... Hm. A Place Called The Black Swamp? Do You Know Of That Place, Kaerei-chaaan~?"

Kaerei would raise her head, looking a bit displeased, yet filled with insanity at the same time "... Black Swamp..? That is my home... Monsters outbreak there? ... Geeeeekooooo..." She would stand, staring at Shinigami "... Thank you, Shinigami-sama. I know what must be done... I will be back later.. Gekori." With that she fell into a pool of acid and was gone.

Deadly 13: Looking For Shinigami-sama

Leaving from the office of his new leader, a naga would the appear outside the school gates and then begin to look around for the one Khrona-sama called Shinigami.

Shinigami would suddenly pop out of a void. "Hiii~! How Are You, Cuuute Little Guuuy~?"

The naga would move back a little shocked by Shinigami's appearance although he would regain his composure and then bow to the person that stood in front of him. "Hisssss, Fine. Would you happen to be Shinigami-sama?"

Shinigami would cock his head to the side "Yeees, I Am Shinigami~! What Is It You Are Doing Here Hmmm?" Shinigami stared at the snake, immediately thinking of the snake antagonist, Medusa 'Hmmmmmm... I Wonder If He Has Any Connection To Medusa.... I Don't Know If I Should Trust Him...'

Naga: "Hisssss We were told by Khrona-sama to come here to gain a soul partner."

Shinigami's doubts suddenly vanished for the moment "Aaaah, Khrona-chan~? Well, If He Sent You Here, Then Come On In! We Will Go To My Office Immediately!!" Shinigami would pull the naga with his giant claw-like hand and seep into a void. The void would then disappear and go back to his office.

Deadly 14: New Student, Naga~!

Shinigami would exit the void, throwing the naga out of it as well, "Soooo, Naaagaaa-chaaan~! You Say You Want A Weapon, Riiight? Mind Telling Me Which Kind Of Weapon You Want?"

Shinigami nodded "Hrrrmm... Energy Whip? That's Original~! Haven't Had Too Many Of Them Lately." Shinigami would open the list of Weapons that were available "Well, You're In Luck... There Are Only 2. A Male And A Female. Which One Would You Prefer, Naga-chaaaan~?"

Shinigami nodded "Aaaalright~ Female Energy Whip~? Let's Call Her Up!!" A giant door would appear and open up into a void of pitch blackness. From out of it came the female weapon lady girl and she stood in front of the naga. Shinigami would say "Naga-chan~! Meet Your Weapon~!"

Shinigami nodded "Well Well! It Seems Like You, Naga-chan And You, Your Soul Weapon Will Be Gooood Paaartneeeers~! WELL! I WILL BE SEEING YA~!" Shinigami turned around "... Oh... Wait...." He faced them again "Any Questions~?"

Shinigami pondered. "Hrrrm... There Is Tear-san... And Khrona-chan... Or Khrona's Brother-san... Hrrrm... I Would Suggest Going Into A Classroom Until Further Notice. I'm Sure One Of Them Will Assist You..."

Deadly 15: Change of Reality.

The two magics from an unknown source would shoot straight above the Reality Village, a large dimensional rip of sorts hovering over the Reality village. With that, the space around the Reality would suddenly become one with this dimensional rip, making the Reality and this new realm one and the same, combining together as if they had been one for and eternity....

The Life Of A Shinigami Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Life Of A Shinigami   The Life Of A Shinigami EmptyWed Jul 31, 2019 5:26 pm

Deadly 16: ... Reality Village Meeting. Report.

Khrona would sit in his chair looking a bit concerned, Misery and Despair near him, trying to grasp what he just told them... Which was very hard to grasp, really.

Zita showed up, appearing out of a black hole looking thing "Heya Khrona. What's... up?" She cocked her head a bit, wondering where Khrona's brother was... and why Khrona was calling her here. Khrona and Zita never really spoke.

A void would open out of the ground, showing Shinigami in it. "Hii~! What's Up, Khrona-san~?"

Khrona's brother walked through the door walking into the room and stood by Zita. "Sorry I'm late everyone."

Khrona cleared his throat. "Yaaay. Everyone's here. Now, for business... If you all haven't noticed, there was a large, wide scale change in the Reality Village in its entirety a little while ago... From what Tigen described, there were 2 large beams of magical light that shot the village and merged it with.... Another dimension." Khrona would wait for the awkward gasps, then continue "Yes yes, gasp. Anywho, the dimension we are merged with currently is a dimension from where Tigen's little... 'Friend' has come from. The creature informed me about the separate realms of this dimension, or a few of them, rather, that are quite... Unique." Khrona would then wait for them all to take this stuff in... THEN CONTINUE, "Many new... beings have inhabited the Reality Village. Monsters of these realms. I assume that other things are here as well, some things that are less malicious... I have foresighted the land and seen that there are certain 'classes' that have become of some random civilians. I'm not sure what they do or what they mean, but... They look cool!... Anyway. That is all I really know as of now... I do not know WHO merged our realms together or for what purpose, but I assume it would be one of our current antagonists, since this thing WAS placed on the Reality village... From what the creature said, a Chomao would know all there is to know about this sort of thing... So a Chomao would have to further our--"

Suddenly, through the window bursted a small creature.. Fluffy, cute, holding a book and looking like a mix of a bat and mole. "Ku!" It said "Someone call for a Chomao!?"

The Chomao would flail a bit "I know that we're cute, but I must explain this to you!" The Chomao would wriggle his way out of Khrona's brother's grip, then hold his book under his arm, clearing his throat "Well. You see... To explain further on the situation... Our dimension is linked through various realms that all of us Chomao know about. Whether it be this or any of the other realms or continents in our universe, Chomao inhabit every place. We help out humans, monsters, or any other thing in our dimension. We're the guides!" The Chomao would flap his little bat wings, floating up onto the desk and open his book "Alrighty then. In this book is knowledge of our world. We call this book the Final Grimoire. You all are... Shinobi, correct? Well, instead of shinobi, we have classes. Black Mages, White Mages, Paladins, Warriors, Thieves... You name it, we probably have it. This is our way of life. We slay monsters and such to keep our universe safe from obliteration, which it has come to a numerous amount of times... Realm by realm, there is always a different threat. Now, in all of these realms, we have summon creatures that are extremely powerful... We call them Summons." He turned some pages in the book, trying to look for the name, but he ended up getting side tracked by the Eidolons "YAY! Summons! Here we go! They are powerful and omnipotent beings that are called upon by special means, such as with magical stones or something of the sort. If you are a summoner, you may embed their power within you so that you do not need the stones. Whoever summons these Summons will have complete and utter control over what they do until their time is complete or until you run out of energy. Naturally, they cost a LOOOT of energy to conjure up, and eveen more to stay out. Normally, they can only stay out for one attack and then they return to whence they came until summoned again." The Chomao put a hand to his face "... I assume that whoever merged our dimensions plans on using the Summons to commit mass destruction, for their power is unmatched by most and is usually very wide scale... But that's only a Chomao's theory."

Khrona sat there, taking this all in, wondering how to get a Summon... What magical gems hold their power... And how to change into such a class of 'summoner' or whatever else there was. 'Heh heh heh...'

The Chomao nodded, turning some pages in the book, "Well, you see, the Classes are quite various with numerous abilities, powers and magics and such. The magics are very powerful and can be cast from a very long range, and most magics involve being a Mage, Cleric, Transmuter, Elementalist, Summoner or others of the sort. The Mages consist of the dangerous, destructive magics such as Fire, Blizzard and Thunder and their entire bodies are always covered, and their faces are always blackened with darkness. The Clerics consist of healing and support magic like Cure, Protect and Reflect. Transmuters consist of Monster Magic in which they must learn by sight, absorption, devouring, or however you plan on taking a monster's abilities. And lastly, Elementalists, which can learn both Mage and Cleric magic, however their magic is not as powerful, so they can only learn first class spells, such as Fire, Cure and so forth. No Super Cure or Super Fire or any second or third or fourth class spells for them kupo. I have informed you about the Summoners and such... There are too many classes to just LIST and rally off like this..." The Chomao thought for a moment "HEY! I have an idea! How about I just leave the book and let you all post it up for everyone to see! The monsters, the maps, the classes, the abilities, the gemstones, the weapons... Everything that you can use and see within this book is yours! And a better idea... I will stay here for your assistance! It's ingenious!"

Khrona wholeheartedly agreed with this "Of course! It's perfect! And now each aspect of the Reality will know about it because all of the leaders are here! Wait, Chomao... Each of them will need their own Chomao, don't you think?"

The Chomao pondered "... That's right kupo... Hm! I know! Firstly, I never formally introduced myself My name is Kupo!" Kupo then summoned more Chomao from his dimension

Khrona smiled "Awwww, how cute~! KUPO STAYS WITH ME." He grabbed Kupo and patted him. "Oh, brother, before I forget... I went to the remains of the Deep Village. I wanted to 'merge' with them so that we could have access to their village and their resources as well as their shinobi and they ours... And also, while we fix up their village. Do you think this is a good idea? They like this idea, I like this idea... It's up to you, now."

Deadly 17: The Darkness Manor Library

These words being spoken and the magic surging from the two books would unleash a great power throughout the realm... Taking his words literally, the two magics from the books would shoot straight toward the Reality Village, a large dimensional rip of sorts hovering over the Reality village. Deadly 18: New Student

Despair would warp in along with someone into Shinigami-sama's office. "Shinigami-sama...? I have a new student for Shibusen for you to evaluate... Must I call you directly...?"

Shinigami's image would slither through the void "Heeey~ Hi~ WHAT'S UP~?!?" Shinigami's large, claw-like hands would pop out and wave at Despair and the guest. "Despair-chan! Who Have You Brought Here For Me Today, Hmmm~? I Assume It Is A New Student Looking For A Weapon, Eh~?"

Shinigami would pat her on the head. "Awww, Shy, Hmmm~? WELL!! You Want A Partner, Riiiight?" Shinigami wanted to get right to the point of this, since there were so many new students coming in as of late.

Shinigami would cock his skeletal head to the side. "Is There A Specific Sort Of Weapon That You Think You'd Work Best With~?"

Shinigami cocked his head, "Hrrrm.. A Sword Whip, Hmmm...? WELL. I DO HAVE SOMETHING FOR YOU~! It's A Niiice Boy For You, Too~!" A giant door would appear and open up, seeming to be to lead to many places. A guy would start to walk out of the door, standing in front of her and nodding to her.

Shinigami chuckled a bit, "Weeell Well~! How About You Two Try Each Other Out, Hmmm~? You Should Go Out And Collect A Soul For Me, Huh~?"

Shinigami cocked his head to the side, pondering "Hrrrrmmm... I Guess I'd Have To Give You An Easy Mission, Wouldn't I...? Hummm... I Know. I Need You To Collect Three Souls For Me; The Soul Of An Ahriman, The Soul Of A Skeleton, And The Soul Of A Vice. You Can Find The Ahriman In The Darkness Lands, The Skeleton In The Graveyard And The Vice In The Land of Eternal Rain. Is That Clear~?"

Deadly 19: Back In Shinigami Academy

The door to Shinigami's office opened, and Shinigami stood tall in front of a void, a stern and seriously upset look on his face "... Come In," he would say in a gruff and menacing voice.

Shinigami sighed. Shinigami turned around, shaking his head, "It Seems As Though Medusa Is Becoming Even Stronger... And There Is No Trace Of Falshin... I Haven't A Clue As To What To Do About This... For It Isn't Like The Old Days..." Shinigami turned back to the void, seeming to be in deep thought about the entire situation.

Deadly 20: Someone Receives A Weapon!

After scrambling, descrambling, rescrambling, transferring, collecting, sorting and combining their matters back into themselves, Khrona and his Honorary Son were finally in the office of Shinigami~!!

"Ah, son... Now in the time that you will be receiving your weapon... I do hope you have something in mind. Shinigami-sama should be able to get it for you..."

Khrona patiently awaited Shinigami to appear from the void that was dead center in this infinite room of gravestones...

The void, dead-smack in the center of the platform that sported the scene of an endless graveyard behind it, would project a large, anthropomorphic, extremely amorphous black creature with a white, skeletal face.. This was Shinigami. The massive Death God exited the void as if it were a mere doorway, causing a sort of ripple effect within it. With a great, menacing gulp of air, Shinigami sent forth his greetings...

"Hiii~! Hello~~! HOW ARE YOU~~~?!?!"

Shinigami's overly immense, sharp, claw-like hand slithered out from his black mass, inflating itself to full size and waving at Khrona.

"Oooooh, Khrona-chan~! It Seems As Though You've Brought Yet Another Student To Join My Academy~?"

Khrona laughed a bit "Unfortunately, Shinigami-same, my new honorary son shall not be attending Shinigami Academy... Though, like his honorary father, myself, I wish for him to learn the discipline of a Soul Weapon. And as such, he will be needing a partner... I will teach him everything I know, if you will let me, Shinigami-sama~?"

Shinigami bounced around on his amorphous body, flopping his head and hand back and forth.

"Oi, Oi, Khrona-chan~! You Have Brought Me A Most Respectable One! HOW CUTE~~!!"

Shinigami hunched over, as he was about, 10 feet tall, at least, and stared the Honorary Son in the eye with his eyes filled with nothing but an abyss of eternal emptiness that was the inside of Shinigami.

"Well, Well~? Is There A Weapon That You Have In Mind, Booooooy~?"

Shinigami cocked his head to the side a bit, "Hrrrm? Bastard Sword?"

Shinigami then cocked his head the other way. "... Hrm... Bastard Sword, huh? I Guess It Would Be Possible That We Would Have One Classified In The Sword List... Alright, You Can Test It Out For Yourself~!"

A large, ominous door appeared in the room, opening up to reveal what seemed to be an abyss of nothingness. Someone exited the door and stood next to Khrona's Honorary Son. "Enjoooy~!"

Khrona smirked, enjoying the view. She was just as sexy as Misery was... With less clothing.

"Ohohoho, there is no mistake, m'boy... Weapon partners can be anything, so long as it has a soul. These things are rather versatile... Any weapon, anything containing a soul. Just grab her and try to wield her... See if your wavelengths match up. It seems as though they do pretty well, from what I'm seeing... Heehee. If you ask her, she should change..."

Khrona would then High Five Shinigami because Shinigami is cool as hell.

Khrona's eyebrows raised casually.

"... Damn. This is hotter than when me and Misery fight and make up in filthily insane ways, shapes, forms and ideas."

Khrona chuckled "Well, Thank you, Shinigami-sama~! You content, Son~?"

Khrona smirked "Great~! Then it's time for you to train... Well, not right now. I don't feel like it right now. We'll start on the morrow. For right now, it's time for us to go home. And by that I mean, you're living in my Pit of Havoc with your new mothers, Misery and Despair, and your new sister, Chroma. Maybe even auntie Meg will visit..."

Khrona sighed, thinking about his wonderfully horrid family... "Alright, let's go. Thanks, Shinigami-sama, once again~!" Khrona grabbed his Honorary Son and once again materialized elsewhere, since Khrona already knew that this was the best way of travel for him.

The Life Of A Shinigami Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Life Of A Shinigami   The Life Of A Shinigami EmptyThu Aug 01, 2019 9:35 am

Deadly 21: Back For More!

Shinigami would be sitting down, drinking a bit of tea and an overly undersized, tiny Japanese table on a tiny cushion.

"... Ooooh, Chibi-chaaaa~n! What A Wonderful Surprise~! Tell Me, What Brings You Here~? You Want Some Tea?"

Shinigami... Still as non serious as he could be.

She scratched her head, and nodded! Tea would be great... but after a couple seconds she slammed her palm on the side of her head making her focus. "Thanks for the offer Shinigami-sama but I feel like I haven't been earning my keep amongst the ranks of the academy weaponry ya know~?" she said, hopefully he wouldn't agree with her that hard...

Shinigami cocked his head to the side a bit. He seemed to be rather confused...

"Hmmmm? You Haven't? I Haven't Really Noticed~!"

He would finish his tea, then stand up, moving toward Sibs and patting her on the head. He was smiling.

"Do Not Worry Little Chibi-chan~! I'll Find Something For You To Do..."

Shinigami moved back toward his void, which would project a number of images in it. "Hrrrmm... Mmm.. Mrrrrhm..." After a few moment of looking, he would finally come to a conclusion, causing the void to revert to normal.

"Alright~! Alright~! Here Is An Important Mission For You... There Seems To Be A Number Of Ominously Large Sand Pits Being Made In The Eternal Desert... They Aren't Normal Ones, However. Something Bad Is Causing Them. I Want You To Go Figure Out What They Are And Stop Them~!"

Shinigami waved at the Soul Weapon as she walked out.

"Have Fun, Chibi-Chaaan~! Make Sure You Get A Lot Of Souls~!"

The Life Of A Shinigami Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Life Of A Shinigami   The Life Of A Shinigami EmptyThu Aug 01, 2019 12:53 pm

Deadly 22: Who Is Kujata, Shinigami?

Shinigami would be sitting down at a table which resembled his skull mask, sipping tea out of a cup in a tranquil manner. His overly large and claw hands made it look really... awkward, but somehow he held that tiny teacup with the utmost grace.

"Oooh~! Chibi-chan Is Back From Her Mission? Well, Well! How Did It Go~?!"

Shinigami cocked his head to the side. "A wizard, you say? Hmmmmm..."

'Could She Be Talking About...? No... It's Been 1,000 Years Since Then... It Must Have Been Someone Else.'

"Could You Describe This Wizard..? We Don't See Too Many These Days, You Know..." He sipped his tea.

"Would You Like Some Tea~?"

Shinigami looked long and hard at Kujata... Occasionally letting out a grunt or two. It would seem as though Shinigami was in very deep thought for a very long time. After a while of just pure and utter thinking, Shinigami looked up to the Soul Weapon.

"NOPE~!! I Don't Know Who This Guy Is, Chibi-chaaaan~~!! But At Least You Came Back From Your Mission Okay~!! Work Hard, Chibi-chan~!"

Though, upon more thought on the matter, Shinigami started to talk in a more serious tone again.

"... But... If You Say He Was Trying To Recruit You... That Would Mean That You Might Be In Danger... Huuuuuh..."

Shinigami started to think once more, this time sipping his tea between grunts. He then let out a very loud and decisive grunt, and his circular eyes would narrow a bit.

"... Refill~."

He poured more tea into his cup, then started to think some more.

"Hmmmmmmm... Since Your Life May Or May Not Be In Danger, I Cannot Allow You To Go On Missions Alone Anymore... Instead, Until This 'Kujata' Is Taken Care Of, Any Missions You Shall Be Doing Involving The Academy, You Will Have To Be Accompanied By Another Student..."

Shinigami sipped his tea, letting out a sigh of utter contentedness...

"... It Is For Your Own Good, Chibi-chan... Try Not To Go Anywhere Alone Anymore..."

Shinigami wasn't exactly totally supporting of that idea... For the Weapon to go alone, she might not be able to escape. He would insist that she go with another, but given her current situation, in which she was the only one who met with this 'Kujata,' it would be foolhardy to send her along with someone else.

"... This Is A Dangerous Matter, Chibi-chan... If This Wizard Is As Powerful As You Say... He Could Easily Obliterate You Without A Second Thought..."

Shinigami sighed, shrugging his shoulders with his hands outstretched slightly.

"But... If He Seemingly Hesitated To Kill You Once... Surely He Wouldn't Try Anytime Later... Do You Have Any Idea How You Will Escape His Clutches Once You Are In..? Surely You Do Not Plan To Take Him On Yourself, Right...?"

Shinigami would raise his hands in that 'Please, no more!' fashion, casually making pushing motions with his hands at the Soul Weapon.

"OKAYOKAY!!... Just Try To Hold Yourself Together, Chibi-chan..."

Shinigami didn't really understand why she was so anxious to go there... But if she truly wanted to go, he had faith in her power. She was currently one of the strongest non Soul Angel weapons here at the academy... So, what could go wrong?

"... You Can Go, Chibi-chan~. This Will Be A Special Top-Secret Mission For You, Then... Good Luck~!"

Shinigami watched as the Soul Weapon exited looking all excited and in a rush. He knew that she probably shouldn't be so excited about this sort of thing, but... He surely did enjoy her enthusiasm~!

"Try Your Hardest, Chibi-chan... I Will Watch Over You.."

What the Soul Weapon didn't know was that Shinigami could actually watch over any particular student he wished through his void in his office. Granted, he could only observe one at a time, but he only used such a skill when he found missions to be either very important or very dangerous... Just in case.

"... Just Who Are You... Kujata...?"

The Life Of A Shinigami Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Life Of A Shinigami   The Life Of A Shinigami EmptyThu Aug 01, 2019 1:40 pm

Deadly 23: Ummm Surprise?

The door would open, and they would have to traverse the loooong hallway made of nothing but guillotines. So, let's just say that they did that already and were at Shinigami's podium.

"Boi~ng! Boi~ng! Howdy, hey there, What's uuuup~? How did your mission go, Nathan-kun and Takai-kun~?"

Shinigami seemed to be in a great mood for some odd reason. Or he was just feeling carefree. Hahahaha. As usual. That's our Shinigami~!

Shinigami sighed heavily, thinking hard on this subject.

"Hmmmm... So you two were subject to the Kishin's insanity for a moment...? It must be getting very bad... We have let him run rampant for too long. If we leave him as is... Not just the Dusk will be the one infected. Right now, it is only over the Dusk Village, but soon it will spread like a disease to the other villages... and then, the world..."

Shinigami turned to his mirror, aiming to look where Asura's insanity was coming from... It wasn't concentrated, so it would be hard to tell.

"... We will need some top meisters... and Death Scythes to find the Kishin... Those with a powerful Soul Perception or Soul Feedback..."

But Shinigami knew that the only people with powerful Soul Feedback and Soul Perception abilities were Khrona and Maze, as well as the now deceased Maruze and Tear... Kaerei's was close to that of Maze and Khrona's, but she couldn't be trusted... Leia and Chroma had very powerful perceptions... Siblyx and Fuuma had strong ones, but Siblyx was on a special mission and Fuuma... Was missing. His weapon partner couldn't compare, at her level.. Justin Law, another Death Scythe had powerful Soul Perception that was just as great as Maruze and Tear's... Huh. It was all just a complicated manner.

Nathan and Takai seemed to be very good together. This meant that they already had a great bond with each other, and as such, they were one of the first to achieve the Chain Resonance that were actually still attending Shibusen as students... Hmmm... But unlike Leia and Chroma, they weren't all that proficient in Self Resonance techniques or Soul Perception and the like... And because of their own wavelengths, it would probably be difficult for them to use... Huuuuh...

... Oh well. Shinigami's thoughts were Shinigami's thoughts.

"Hmmm... We'll have to leave this matter alone for the moment.. Until we get more Death Scythes..."

Shinigami turned "Mah? Training for you? Perhaps... Hmmmm..."

Shinigami inspected the both of them, seeing what they would be most proficient in learning at that time...

"... Hmmmm... I would suggest going to perfect your Chain Resonance... Maybe increase the power of your resonances... Maybe more effective control over your wavelength~?"

They were ideas that would probably help, being given by Shinigami, himself.

Shinigami nodded "Okay okay~! It's settled, then~! Nathan-kun and Takai-kun will be training from now on, then~!"

Shinigami bounced around happily, as it seemed they were very much into this training. Yay.

The Life Of A Shinigami Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Life Of A Shinigami   The Life Of A Shinigami EmptyThu Aug 01, 2019 1:43 pm

Deadly 24: A Word With Lord Death...

Maruze quickly entered the Death Room, the soul of his daughter in hand. He walked direction up the the podium with a stern look.

"... Lord Death... I have returned... And I need a favor."

Shinigami turned around to see a face he hadn't seen in quite some time...

"Oh? Is that really you.... Maruze?"

It was a shocker. Shinigami thought that he was long gone... But it would seem that his soul was powerful enough to survive whatever it had been through. That is good to know.

"Well, yes, Maruze-kun? What is it you need from me?"

Maruze sighed, showing Shinigami the soul.

".. I need my beloved daughter's soul... to be changed into my weapon. That is her will, to be my blade, and I cannot deny her that wish. Can you help us, Shinigami-sama?"

He held out his sword, which he just bought from the Bukigura. Hopefully, it could be used...

Shinigami examined the soul, then the sword...

"Hmmmm... we need a witch's soul for this to happen..."

Shinigami pulled out a soul that looked very old and decrepit.

"This is the soul of a witch I killed many years ago... The last witch soul I have. I will be willing to give it to you, Maruze-kun."

A pot would appear and Shinigami dropped the soul into the pot, making it start to boil..

"Now melt down your weapon and put in the soul of your daughter..."

Maruze nodded, making another sword.

"Sword Magic: Fire Sword."

He slashed the bare sword, causing it to melt inside of the pot. Maruze then quickly threw in the soul of his daughter and after that, he waited to see what would happen, dissipating the sword he had.

There would be a powerful reaction, causing a small explosion. All of the liquid in there would form into a solid object... A solid being... This being was a sword, however. The sword was the same as Maruze's original sword that he bought, looking literally no different from before.

"... There she is, Maruze-kun."

Maruze would grab the sword, suddenly able to feel a soul inside... It was a bond instantly... The family bond.

"Mmmm... It is good to have to back, Meo..."

But a little while after he picked her up, she started to shine. She started to take the form of a human right in front of Maruze's eyes... It was amazing. And finally, she changed completely... Maruze was stunned.

"M... Meo!?"

Meo looked up at him, rubbing her eyes. "Mmm... I have... a body?"

Maruze couldn't help but hug her, starting to tear up. "I am very sorry, Meo, for what I did to you so many years ago... It is so good to have my daughter in my arms again..."

He looked at her, noticing that she had... grown.

"... Even as a soul, you still aged? That... doesn't make any sense.

Meo: Don't judge me, daddy. I'm 17.

Maruze: 17!? You've been dead for ten years?! Mmm... That is such a long time...

Maruze looked up to Shinigami "Thank you, Lord Death... your blessings are too much..." He stood up, grabbing Meo's hand and left.

Shinigami nodded "All's well that ends well, huh~? Good luck to you then, Maruze-kun and Meo-chan. I expect big things from the two of you... Especially with your skill, Maruze-kun."

As they walked off, Shinigami could only say "Awwwwww."
