First topic message reminder :

Kaerei's Myth
Kaerei... The demon spirit of the black swamp... Most who enter her swamp sign their spirit over to her... Predicting their death. Kaerei... Totally insane in the worst possibly way... psychotic shaman.... heretic... spirt. It is not known of where or when Kaerei actually comes from, for little is known about her as a person. No one lives to tell the tales of her, but those who do can say this... Her swamp is alive. It is under her control. She is the swamp, one with it... The Black Swamp of Damnation. The swamp seems to be a secret place that is only stumbled upon by accident, also why no one knows about Kaerei. It also is said to move to her own will, making it even more mysterious. It is unknown as to whether Kaerei herself is a spirit, whether she is a human, a frog or something else entirely... Or perhaps all of them. Her body, totally immune to acids and poisons whatsoever. No type of toxins or diseases can best her, which explains why she can live in such living conditions for such an incredibly long time. She has control over spirits as if they were part of her... And they just might be. All of the souls of the ones she's killed, and perhaps some that have just wandered into her power. She has control over all frogs, amphibians and reptiles whatsoever, and those not under her influence are quickly changed due to her... powers. In this evil swamp of hers, she also does... Voodoo. Those who do know of her, as few as they may be, know that she is the master of Voodoo dolls and rituals, making her one of business as well. The price for some of her voodoo magic is your spirit, however, making you a type of soulless being that works under her command. She also has a very wide selection of various poisons and acids, the most in the universe. These can be used for instant death, a fatal disease or... many other things of the like. Her purpose in this world is completely unknown, but she may just live her as a ferryman for souls... such is Kaerei, the dangerous, shamanistic heretic spirit of the Black Swamp.

Kaerei used to reside in the Nightmare Village, though wasn't really that active because of her secluded and psychotic nature... She used to work under the Earth King, who she referred to as her 'Diamond Master.' She seems to be taking her loner path again, following orders from no one but herself. That was the life she liked best. Under the control of her diamond master, however, she acquired Sage Mode, which is very powerful for her. She has the power to summon up unnatural energy which she can use to her will to increase her power by a great amount. Another thing she did under her 'Diamond Master' was kill one of her own in combat. It was a cruel and fatal death, but that was Kaerei's favorite kind, of course. Kaerei also fought in a battle against the Demon King, in retrospect, was never finished, and also fought against a team member of hers and accidentally changed her life. Kaerei accidentally stuck part of her spirit inside of the Aethereal via a Voodoo doll and it has manifested itself into another being entirely inside of her known as Kuiin. Kaerei only felt remorse because of what would happen if her former Diamond Master found out, but now that she is not with him, she will use this to her advantage to track down and kill the Aethereal, thus taking back the energy that is rightfully hers. Kaerei also senses a great insanity in this village of Reality... and she likes it. It fills her with a further lust for blood and spirits, and it is making her lose what little of her mind she has left... much like a few of the people in this village. As of right now, a black swamp has appeared in the Reality Village from seemingly nowhere surrounded by a thick, black mist... It is best that all do not check it out.

After some time alone, Kaerei was confronted by a deity. A snake deity, no less. She was going to kill her, however Medusa offered something that Kaerei needed... Soul abilities and Magical Lilypads and the Black Dragon Blood, as well as the ability to change into a Soul Weapon. Kaerei humbly accepted Medusa's gifts in exchange for Medusa being able to come and ask her for anything that she needed and for an Earth Potion... With that, Kaerei became A Weapon, however she had 3 weapons inside of her; A File, a Hook, and accidentally a Syringe. Those would be useful. With that, Kaerei became dormant once again, humbly mixing potions in her swamp... Until she thought about something. She wanted to have concentrated power. More speed. She was already quite speedy, but she was not blindingly fast. She needed to be smaller... Lighter... Nimbler (if that was possible) and sleek. This called for her to become smaller, a child, no less. While in her child form, or as she calls it, 'Tama Form,' Kaerei can move at unimaginable speeds that makes her invisible, not even a blur to leave a trace of her trail. Her hair is pony tails that she can use as blades, helicopters or stretch it out like whips or something. Her dress acts as a parachute now and when she spins, she can cut and poison things, since the dress is razor sharp and her entire body has poisonous and acidic toxins all over. Her gloves have the highest concentration of natural poison and acid, meaning that getting touched with her gloves was more than lethal. Her gloves were also extremely durable and coated with magic given to her by Medusa and some lingering magic that was used to change her, meaning that her gloves could not only deliver extremely powerful blows, but could also deflect various attacks and large objects and whatnot. Her fingers are also incredibly sharp, like that of a blade, though they may not look it. How very useful.

Kaerei's anatomy is very complex and detailed, compared to most others'. Her entire body is adapted to many conditions that normal people would not be able to survive, and works similarly to a conjunction of many, many different species of frogs in one. To start from the top, her hair is long, straight and silver, and as an adult, it would flow down all the way to her waist. As a child, it is made into two very large and unkempt pigtails on either side of her head. The strands of her hair are able to be sharpened, stiffened, elongated and controlled at her every will and whim, making them a weapon within themselves. Moving down to her eyes, they are very special, being able to see any sort of invisible object, any spirit/supernatural entity and able to trace and assess the power of these things. Her eyes are also coated in a special film that allows her to see clearly in any sort of water she swims in, no matter how dense, murky or dark. This also allows her to see through mist and hindering gases, hence why she can see clearly through her own. Kaerei's mind is virtually insane in all ways, leaving her to be a very deadly and misunderstood person. With a mind like that, she is typically an erratic person in general. Kaerei's nose is special, for she can smell specific fumes in the air released by living things. With these fumes, she can smell changes in emotion via chemical properties, she can locate movement of people anywhere within a certain distance, and she can decipher any other gases in the area that may not be noticeable to any other people. Kaerei's ears are very keen as well, only because she can pick up many different sounds and decipher them all at once. This assists her in pinpointing her prey. Kaerei's mouth is one of her most important features. Her salivary glands are specially made to produce acid and toxins, which her mouth is generally always coated in. The intensity of the acid and toxins increase or decrease depending on her emotions. Generally, these will break down whatever enters her mouth and destroy anything that will harm her body before it is able to enter her body. However, this links into her stomach acids being so incredibly powerful that Kaerei can consume literally anything, so it doesn't matter much. Back to Kaerei's mouth, she can regurgitate and instantly produce a seemingly infinite amount of acid or toxins right from there, using those for attacks. Her toxins are so powerful, that even 0.00000000000000000000000000001oz is enough to kill a skilled Jounin in the shinobi world. Not only that, but she can release foam from her mouth with the same property. In addition to this, her larynx and vocal cords are very, very, VERY highly adapted, allowing her to make almost any noise at any pitch or volume, be it a croak, a gentle and beautiful song, or just her raspy, froggy voice. Her croaks have enough power to shatter mountains if concentrated well enough, making her voice very powerful. Her croaks and calls can be made to sound like any frequency, be it the call of a bird, clicking of rocks, the trill of a cricket or anything. Kaerei's voice can make any sound on the sound spectrum perfectly, and thus this allows her to mimic people's voices, as well. Also, because she has so much experience in the art of sound waves, Kaerei can generate sounds that can relate to any of the senses, meaning she may be able to create illusions and trick the mind, turn off senses of others who hear her voice, etc. It depends on the reception. Finally, she is able to talk to animals, but more specifically, amphibians and reptiles, being able to control them with just her voice, making her even more deadly.

Kaerei's body is just as complex and detailed as her head is. Kaerei's skin is very smooth and extremely permeable, but is covered in films of very, very strong acids and toxins at all times, making sure nothing is able to penetrate her extremely permeable skin. Not only this, but her toxins and acids provide insulation and keeps her body temperature stable at all times, even through cold and heat. Her skin also allows her to absorb liquids and restore her own health by doing this, if she wills it. Lastly, she is able to change the pigmentation of her body at will, so she may alter her color to any color on the spectrum, even infrared or ultraviolet, making her totally unseen even to those who track by heat vision. This also allows her to mimic the image of whomever she has seen before to the very t. Her skin is also extremely stretchy, mostly in the cheeks for storing up acids and poisons. Using her stretchy skin and moveable, flexible bones, she can lodge herself into any crevice, no matter how small or tight. Though it is very stretchy and permeable, under special conditions, she can harden the liquid film around her body to fortify her skin, causing her to become rough and hard, difficult to harm, but then completely dry. Her skin is able to sense the most subtle of vibrations in the atmosphere, be it normally, in the earth, in the air or in the water, alerting her to threats or prey. Also, Kaerei has both lungs and gills, and has the ability to breathe through her skin, if she wants, as well as through the water with ease. Kaerei's skin also allows her great water resistance as well as the ability to float along water, or, if she truly wants to, to 'walk on water.' Kaerei's organs are also adapted to these acids and toxins. Kaerei's bones are extremely flexible and tough, almost to the point of that they are incapable of being broken. If they are dislocated, Kaerei is easily able to snap them back into place. Kaerei's blood and any other liquids in her body are made completely of the highest types of acids and toxins, as well as been infected by the Black Blood thanks to Medusa. There are so many acids and toxins in her body that there is literally no type of poison that can affect or harm her body, and if there is, her body is made to instantly adapt to and take control of it. Her body cannot physically be harmed by acid at all, and her insides are so strong that she can drink any type of acid as if it were kool-aid, as stated before, her stomach acids are strong enough that Kaerei can literally consume and break down anything that enters her body. Kaerei's legs are her most powerful feature, giving her the ability of insanely precise acrobatics, balance and nimbleness. Also, they are powerful enough to launch her high into the air easily, and deliver incredibly powerful kicks. Because of her powerful legs, Kaerei is also a lot faster than most people consider her. Her legs are also made for swimming, and she moves even faster through water than she does on land (which is still very fast.) Finally, Kaerei's tongue is insanely long, reaching to great lengths and is extremely sticky, as well as coated in the same poisons and acids as the rest of her body. It's used for multiple purposes. Lastly, with her mystical powers, she can alter her age to her own will.

Kaerei, as an adult, wears a mostly skin-tight shirt with oversized, long sleeves, however it shows a large portion of her belly. She also wears skin-tight pants that seem to be very stretchy and flexible, as a special attribute for maximum movement and mobility of her legs in any direction. These are for maximum wind and water resistance in the air and through the water, making both liquid and wind slide off of her easily. Kaerei wears special shoes that allow her to have extremely good traction, or alternatively, get rid of any traction she has on her feet, depending on what she wishes. Around Kaerei's ankles and waist are extremely stretchy, compacted flaps which extend outward into parachutes. This is to allow her to float down from high areas and delay fall-time in the air.

Kaerei, as a child, has an entirely different wardrobe than as an adult. Her clothes are still specially made to resist her acids and toxins, however they are a little less efficient in other aspects than her adult form. For starters, she wears a black, white and gray striped, sleeveless dress, which provides the same mobility for her legs and also acts as a parachute in place of the flaps that are on her clothes as an adult. Also, because her dress is sleeveless, Kaerei wears extremely large, rubbery frog-themed gloves, which allows her to touch things without burning them, just like her sleeves do as an adult. Finally, Kaerei does not have boots anymore, but now has typical slippers on. They still provide the same ability of having great traction or no traction, but are not really as comfortable. She looks similarly to these two pictures.

Kaerei, as a senior, generally has attire that resembles her original self, however looser and more tattered. She wears garb with the same immunities a her original clothes, only they are tattered and cover her entire body; arms, legs and face, making her look more like an evil spirit as none of her limbs are able to be seen. This garb is also able to negate the effects of heat, light and the cold to keep her totally and completely fine through any harsh conditions, as it is blessed with her mystical power.

Kaerei's attire is specially made to fit her acidic and toxic capabilities, as well as her extremely drastic living conditions. Therefore, her clothes are specially made so that no acids can burn through. To ensure this, they are also blessed with shamanistic and druid magics. To start off, she wears an incredibly large, rubber-looking hat that resembles a traditional Japanese Straw Hat with giant, menacing frog eyes on them. These Frog Eyes seem to be directly linked with Kaerei's own mind, allowing her to see through them and show emotions through those eyes. Those eyes also have incredibly potent, hypnotic power as well as many other hidden abilities, as well as some hidden spiritual properties. As a child, her hat has changed into a hood, sporting the same eyes, however now colored purple. There is no difference in ability, only appearance.

Kaerei, the mysterious hermit/shaman/heretic frog girl who is the center of spirits from the black swamp, giving her the alias 'Spirit of the Black Swamp.' She is a loner, usually only heard singing an ominously eerie tune when people pass through her swamp "Gekogekogekori... Gekogekori.." She kills most who come to the black swamp, giving it the name. A psychopath to every extreme, less than no outside contact with other people except when she takes a life. She is twisted, demented, insane and destructive to the extreme, though when she is not in contact with any living creature, she is extremely docile and gentle... Though still very menacing, creepy and vile. Kaerei also seems to be highly adept at explosives, too, most of these being bombs. She has integrated her knowledge of explosives into some of her attacks (Such as the Swamp Grenade or her Geko Geko bombs). Not much is known about her, other than that she is not of this world. Her personality remains a very large mystery, as are a great many other things about this Frog Spirit.

Croak 24: ... Just To Get The Feel Of Kaerei Back...

Kaerei appears from out of the swamp, snickering insanely. She would await any, I mean ANY victim...

Kaerei merely looked back at him, one gleaming, insane eye staring at Kid from the shadows of her overly large hat. She snickered "Geko geko geko... My next victim... Gekori... What a mistake you have made..." She began to seep into the ground, the ground rippling as if it were liquid "Black Jump..." Kaerei's favorite beginning move. The ability that made her able to move through all solid substances as if they were a liquid. There were lily pads in the swamp water... and they began to spin as Kaerei became invisible under the ground. Kaerei swam through the earth quite easily, setting her Swamp Grenades and such all around the swamp, making them act as land mines if Kid were to move too carelessly.

Kaerei, Spirit Of The Black Swamp Of The Damned - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Kaerei, Spirit Of The Black Swamp Of The Damned   Kaerei, Spirit Of The Black Swamp Of The Damned - Page 2 EmptyWed Aug 07, 2019 3:41 pm

Croak 25: A Relaxing Stroll

The atmosphere would become slightly foggy and grimy, the ground becoming squishy and swampy. The open pasture had quickly become groggy and ominous as an eerie wind blew in. Why, you ask? The Spirit of the Black Swamp had made herself known... Kaerei had emerged once again. As the wind blew, it seemed as though out of nowhere, Kaerei appeared. One eye could be seen gleaming from the shadows of under her hat. "Geeekogekogekogekogekori... My next victim... I have found you..." Her mouth began to salivate with acids and toxins of varying intensity.

Kaerei's smile widened, as she indeed felt his soul pulsate... And as such, she planned on having it. Her own insanity caused her to initiate the battle in the only way she knew how... Sneak attacks. Her body secreted deadly poisons and acids which coated her body via the Poison Coat ability she had, and soon she began to seep into the ground, the ground rippling as if it were a liquid, as would any and all solids that tried to make contact with Kaerei so long as she used the power of the "Black Jump..." Quickly, she was completely submerged underground. It was apparent to her that he controlled plants, which was the sole purpose of her using the Poison Coat before using the Black Jump, to kill all of the plants while she swam through the earth like a body of water. As she swam, she used her normal and most well known tactic... Setting Swamp Bombs everywhere that would react like land mines. Meaning that if Ken were to step above one, or near enough to one, or have anything touch one, they would make a massive explosion of nothing but acid. She did not cease her swimming...

Kaerei would jump out of the ground, making the liquid ripples once again. Now it was time for the Spiritual Aid... This would change her into a spirit. Kaerei, as such, was a spirit. She was completely invisible and untracable by normal means. She would float up to the sky, glaring at Ken. As she was up in the sky, she made note of the silver energy... Then began to use her weapon abilities. From the getgo. Something big... "Black Needle..." A gigantic syringe would suddenly poke out of the sky, the needle pointing directly at Ken. Without warning, it would begin to suck in everything, energy and shit like that as well, hopefully the wispy silver one and Ken as well. With that being done, the syringe would shatter, destroying whatever was in it. It had been a while since Kaerei had a victim... She was hungry, and wasn't going to spend time going soft.. She would even turn her hat around, just so she could have perfect vision of everywhere; top, bottom, behind... everywhere.

Nautrally, Kaerei was immune to all poisons, and in fact the poisons would assist her in her ways, thus this was no hindrance to her. And besides that, she was a ghost right now, anyway. The trees would merely pass through her, doing absolutely nothing to her at all. Nature couldn't hurt her as a ghost.. But she could surely hurt it. The syringe would shatter everything that it had sucked up previously and retract into the sky again. She would then detonate all of her swamp bombs scattered across the used to be pasture. This would create a huge, cataclysmic eruption of pure acid of EXTREME intensity to melt through the trees and such. Kaerei slowly floated closer to Ken... Her eyes becoming blank and her head twitching erratically, before instantly stopping. There was something odd about Kaerei now...

The Kaerei would float closer, slowly, but surely. There was an eerie breeze in the air as it began to make a croaking laugh like clockwork, the sound resonating throughout the area. "Gekogekogekogekogekogeko" It continued like that, masking all other sounds of the area. Energy stared to flow into the Kaerei, making the spiritual presence even moreso known... it was still quite odd, however. Something quite askew...

Great. It worked. All that Kaerei was there for was to buy time. In fact, there were multiple Kaerei's scattered across the field, hence why the one that was near Ken was storing energy, to create more and more. The real Kaerei could transmute herself into or through any one of them at any time. Kaerei's game was evasion. There wasn't a soul that could beat her at evasion. To corrode the defenses unseen.. And then give the killing blow. Each of the Kaereis would sloooowly float toward Ken, however now all of them began to glow as the first one did. How did they multiply? Kaerei's Black Spirits. Copies. As many as she needed. Hopefully Ken wouldn't be foolish enough to figure out their little 'special ability...' As such, the real Kaerei was still unknown, and more Kaereis continued to appear spread across the field. A tactic she had never tried, but fun all the same.

Each of them continued to multiply. As such, Kaerei became harder and harder to find. Soon enough, the Kaerei's were multiplied so far that there were hundreds just lurking about the entire area, no matter where Ken would turn, there was a Kaerei. There were well over 1,000 of them, and unless Ken did something, they would still continue to multiply. Now it was time for part one of the elaborate plan Kaerei had in mind... All of the Kaereis were still making that resonating "Gekogekogekogekogeko" And together, without warning, they all let out a horrifically loud and destructive "GEKO!!!!!!" using the Frog's Croak ability, and a horrible ability it is, for it grows in size and power exponentially the longer it is out. The further the Kaerei was away from Ken, the more powerful, destructive and rupturing this croak was. Not to mention, all of the Kaerei's doing this together would make an incredible force and vibration that would literally flatten the entire forest and dent the ground as well, hopefully taking Ken with it. This powerful force should also compress the air in the directions of it, thus making it extremely hard to move and breathe as well. All the better~! This was to try to hinder Ken as well as clear some space... It wasn't necessary, but it was always nice to do. They glow around the Kaereis intensified, then thin strings connected each of their positions...

The Kaerei's continued to multiply, laughing quite loudly "GEKOGEKOGEKOGEKOGEKOGEKOGEKO!!" This tactic was working out quite well. Time for the next part... Too bad that she couldn't use physical attacks while in Spirit form, or else this would have been a lot easier. The forest had returned again? Hmph. It was good. All good. There was one thing Kaerei felt like doing, just for the hell of it... Two, in fact. To melt Ken away and the forest quite quickly. The Swamp Torpedo. From each of them. There numbers were now multiplying in the thousands, meaning that each one only needed to release ONE Swamp Torpedo to ultimately destroy the area for miles and miles. And they were all connected by that string, which made them even more in sync than normal. As such, all of them released a Swamp Torpedo, 1 torpedo being about the size of a submarine. As such, thousands of them would be pretty hard to avoid, especially when they all basically filled the sky. They would slam into the forest, burning through it, as well as the ground for a damn wide radius, going aaaaall the way down to the core of the planet, since the acid was so intense it could melt through the ground, rock, etc. quite easily. Hopefully, Ken was taken with the huge ass wave of torpedoes. If now, Kaerei did have the final few parts of this plan to do... heh.

Perfect. Kaerei's plan came together a little early, but it came together either way. The instant he attempted to send the Soul Purge throughout the forest, he would have to make his soul go past the 'strings' that connected all of the Kaereis together. This was the 'special ability' that Kaerei had been meaning to use... The multiple Kaerei's were all fakes, obviously, however they were fake in the worst way... Being Voodoo dolls. Kaerei's Voodoo dolls were spirits and thus connected to people via spirits/souls/any other way they could. Once Ken's soul passed through the string, each of the Kaereis took their real forms, the Voodoo doll forms. Since they had stored so much power due to Ken's stalling, their potency and control was so great that just having the Soul Purge touch them hurt Ken himself, having his own wavelength backfire on himself. All Kaerei had to do was bind one of those dolls and it would happen to Ken. The real Kaerei showed herself now, being in non-spirit form because.. well... Naturally she ran out of time for it and her trick had been seen through, plus she was the only Kaerei not connected to the others, so she didn't have the power to stay in spirit form. Kaerei also had an idea. She leapt high into the air in the middle of the Voodoo dolls and had them all compress into a ball around her. Just thousands upon thousands of Kens, compressed into one big ball. Kaerei laughed within this ball. She grabbed a doll and merely said "Soul Drain..." An aura of her wavelength would surround her, gradually draining the very essence of Ken's soul, soul energy and any other spiritual energy he had within himself using the Voodoo Doll as a medium, thus meaning he couldn't hurt Kaerei via Soul abilities. Finally, she spat out a sticky substance on the doll in her hand and stuck its limbs together and pasted it on her hand, which would represent the ground. As such, Ken should do the same, being immobile so long as the dolls, all of them, which now had slime on them as well, thus making the ball a hell of a lot more tighter, stick together. Time to do something mean...

Kaerei's body wouldn't be ravaged and the seeds would not spread entirely for the simple fact that the Black Blood did not will it to be. Now, you are probably wondering how this works, hm? Well. The Black Blood that pulses within her is, indeed, a separate entity. Sure, it CAN be controlled by her, but it is a separate entity within itself. As such, the Black Blood can do things on its own if the need for it is there. So, the Black Blood would merely cease the growth of the Death Seeds by stiffening, which it could basically do to make itself any given density or hardness. Kaerei also may have had her reactionary time down, but with Ken's miscalculation of what was within her body, she could still execute her plan. Only a little bit different this time. Instead of initiating the original plan (as posted above) She would first use her Spiritual Link to gain the power of the Kama-Itachi, or the wind weasel spirits. As such, they were spirits, and using their power turned Kaerei into a spirit as well, once again. Thus, using this ability, she could converge with the wind at any given time, which just happened to be at this time. After that, everything else... took place...

Kaerei's voodoo dolls would revert back into the little bits of Kaerei's soul. Using the Soul Disperse ability taught by Medusa, Kaerei's soul would shoot off in several different directions, the remains of Kaerei's body dispersing as well. They seemed to be heading back to the Reality village... Ah well. She who randomly does voodoo after destroying random shit for no apparent reason and runs away, lives to randomly do more voodoo and destroy random shit and stuff another day! In the wind, her raspy, frog-like voice croaked "My neeeext.. viiictiiiim...." and she was gone.

Croak 26: Meduuuusa...

Kaerei's soul reconstructed itself inside of Medusa's lair. Her soul looked just like her body did. Medusa had done the same thing when the Lone Wolf killed her, so Medusa should be able to embody Kaerei again... somehow... "Medusaaaaa... Medusaaaa...."

Medusa was just coming back from the Deep village, her mission to get the Dark Matter failed. She passed cohorts by coming in through the back door. She sighed "Hm... Experiment failed..." She then noticed the floating spirit... Kaerei. "Oh? Swamp Spirit? You are here and without a body? What happened?"

Kaerei would curl up "My plans... I was defeated in battle... I need a new body... I need... I need... I need souuls... I need power... Can you help me, Snake Deity...?"

Medusa gave her traditional snake-like smile slithered across her face "A new body, eh...? Hm...hmhmhm... The experiment is back on... Kaerei. Until you find a body, you and I... We shall share a body. With your powers mixed with mine... We will be unstoppable. And we can collect souls... And you will have your body. Are you ready...?"

Kaerei gave her smile as well, touching Medusa "Yes... I will share your body... our souls... Guide me, Medusa..." Kaerei's soul began to glow.. extremely bright... Medusa's vectors would begin to wrap around her...

Medusa's eyes narrowed as her vectors from her soul would embrace and pull in Kaerei, reverting her to a normal soul-looking form. With that, spiritual energy would flow all about Medusa. Medusa's dress became extremely tight and skimpy, her tassely thingies wrapping around and forming into a large snake-like beast attached to her waist and curled around her body slightly. Medusa grew taller, hair flowing over her now insane looking eyes, which were now ghostly. She snickered a bit... The transformation was complete...

They would finally be complete. Two souls inhabiting one body... The new and improved... Mederei.

"Geko gekori... Well now. It seems like the experiment worked out perfectly geko... Hmhmhmhm... And now, we quest for souls, hm...? Gekori..." A vector plate would appear above the ground, however it was floating and ghastly, forcing Mederei in the direction it pointed, however traveling with her and guiding her in different directions "... Spiffy...."

Croak 27: Must... Devour...

Mederei made her way to the Eternal Desert. "Hm. Soul collecting should be easy with our combined power plus the magic enhancing pendent we have... And with this, when we find a new body to harbor Kaerei, Kaerei will be a Death Scythe as well... So long as we can find a Witch's soul as well.." Mederei smirked "Hmhmhm... Arachne... gekogeko..." Mederei wondered what Arachne was up to, but it didn't really matter at the moment. Mederei just needed 99 souls. Ha. Easy enough. She could sweep this desert in seconds flat and get MORE than enough souls to devour. She started her journey, floating nonchalantly through the desert air, the spiritual snake attached to her waist wrapping itself around her legs as well, scoping out the area for enemies...

Mederei laughed "Hahaha... Cute little Land Sharks... Be gone from here... Spiritual Vector Arrow..." Arrows would then spew from the ground as well as Mederei's body, however they were not normal arrows made of just magic... They were made of Kaerei's spiritual energy as well. They would try to stab the sharks from every way possible and forcefully rip out their souls before they could do anything to Mederei.

Because the Land Sharks had nowhere to go, they would instantly be stabbed and killed, their souls being pulled out of their bodies. Their souls were each worth 10 souls. They were babies... But a HUGE earthquake happened right after... Something bigger was coming... a LOT bigger and a LOT more powerful...

Mederei laughed again, absorbing the souls "50 souls, right off the bat.. Only 49 more and a Witch's soul and you'll be a Death Scythe, Kaerei... Gekogekogekori..." Mederei felt the rumbling, feeling quite happy "... Here we go. Something challenging..."

A Hugatu would appear now. Actually, 3. What annoying things. These things were not the boss of the place, however, but merely his pawns. They would destroy Mederei, or were sent to, that is. They all laughed hysterically, glaring at Mederei with heir insane eyes.

Croak 28: Looking For More...

In a wisp of the wind, she would appear. Mederei. She was different than before, but hopefully that would not distract Akazuki from who she once was... "Geko. Are you looking for us, Akazuki...? Hmhmhmhm..." Her snake wrapped around her waist hissed, flaring up a bit with energy.

She snickered, letting out a few hisses and croaks "Gekogekogeko... I am still the witch Medusa you know... Only, this body I have stolen possesses not only my soul, but another soul, the soul of the swamp spirit of the Black Swamp, the druid Kaerei... We are sharing bodies and powers for the moment, until she can find a body or until I can find a new body in which we can separate..." Mederei moved a bit closer, the snake slithering around her arm "So... You need to talk? What brings you here?" Arrows slithered around her body just like her snake.

Mederei hissed contentedly "Oh yeeeesss... Of course... It will be quite useful for my next 'experiment...'" The snake around her arm would quickly lash out, grabbing the Dark Matter and wrapping around it before retracting "Thank you for your time, sir... But tell me..." Her pupils narrowed, as did her eyes, just like a snake's "... Would you like to accompany me here?"

Mederei snickered a bit "Yes yes... The Black Blood will be... Quite useful for you and myself... In my experiments.." Mederei would walk a bit closer to Akazuki "I would advise you to come back to my hideout... Afterward, I can.. set you up. Hmhmhmhmhm.."

Mederei, mixing Kaerei's Spiritual Energy and Medusa's Vector Magic would create a Spiritual Vector Plate, its use a lot better than a normal Vector Plate for this reason... "Spiritual Vector Plate..." 2 arrows appeared in the air, engulfing the two completely, concealing them both in the spiritual energy, and in a huge explosion of speed, were off to Mederei's Hideout.

Croak 29: And We Return...

Bypassing Mosquito and Free and Asura duking it out in the entrance, Mederei and Akazuki would appear right inside of the middle of Medusa's hideout. They would be dropped from the spiritual arrows and then the arrows would dissipate. "Well, now that we are here... Would you care to get started, Akazuki~?"

Mederei snickered "Alright then... Come with me and we shall begin..." Mederei started walking, blocks with several arrows started to form a pathway in front of her, leading her to the one with the crystal ball on it. Being merged with Kaerei, she was also partially weapon now, thus she could change into one of Kaerei's weapon forms, which just happened to be a Syringe. Mederei's arm changed into a large syringe, filling with some of her very own Black Blood... "Are you ready, Akazuki..?"

Mederei giggled a bit "Now now, you don't trust me~? After all we've been through~? Besides... There is no OTHER way to get the Black Blood into you and I don't see any OTHER syringes around here... Besides. You've given me the Dark Matter I asked for, why shouldn't I give you what you ask for, hm~?" Her eyes narrowed, her lips stretched wickedly across her face "Gekogeko..."

Mederei laughed again "Ah, the only thing I am going to inject is Blood, but I must tell you that since the Black Blood is an entity within itself and is symbiotic in nature... If anything WERE to happen to be attached to it, expelling that would also expel the Black Blood... Not that I'm putting anything else in you, dear..." Mederei's smile dimmed down to a light smirk, sticking the needle into the arm of Akazuki. "Besides... If I had a mind to, I could just kill you right now.... This syringe does a lot more than inject, boy..." She would begin to inject the blood, something slithering along with it into Akazuki Mederei thought, pulling out the needle "See? All done! Now that didn't hurt, did it~?"

Mederei gracefully moved backwards "Well... The only thing left to do is to test it... Am I right? And how better to test it than with a battle?" Mederei eyes him up and down "And despite your thoughts, this battle shan't be with us, but with... My daughter... Crona." As she finished, the name of Crona would echo throughout the entire lair, which is Mederei's way of calling her.

A vector plate would appear under Crona, and since it defied and altered gravity, anything above it would also defy gravity as well "Pathetic, Crona... You are in need of more training..." The plate would shoot Crona off somewhere, into the darkness. There was no sound heard within the darkness "... Perhaps in the next training I will teach her more of..." She sighed, looking up to Akazuki with a smile "Good, good, Akazuki... You will be a wonderful addition.. Are you satisfied with the Black Blood and its abilities?" Mederei smiled at him, eyes narrowing.

Mederei frowned at the mention of 'her child' "Crona... Is nothing to be concerned about. She must go through this training and these experiments, or else she will be weak and fragile... And we couldn't have that, now could we?" Mederei's eyes squinted "Well, mister Akazuki... What is it you plan on doing now? If you decide to take your leave, I will be able to contact you later... Do not worry about that." Mederei smirked, crossing her arms.

Croak 30: Waiting...

Reverting back to a physical form, Mederei had just gotten out of the battle with Fuuma Tera. It was intense and she aimed to kill him, but there was no time for that at that point... She needed to be back here with the body of Arachne. Besides... The wavelength of the Kishin should do sufficient damage to him.

Mederei noticed that Otama Jackson was watching after the body... Mmm...

"... Eruka and Free must be out doing something... I can monitor where Eruka is through my snakes... She seems to be collecting souls along with Free geko. Good... Now when they get back, there won't be any time to waste... Kaerei. You may have the body of this little girl from now on.. Because now, I have the body of an adult... My sister, Arachne."

With that, Mederei started to chant.

"Naaake snake... cobra cobubra.... Naaaake snaaaake cobra cobubra.... Soul Disperse."

She would move her entire soul from the child's body that she was originally residing in, and then move it into Arachne's body, possessing her soulless body and making it her own, since no other souls were in it.

The moment Medusa's soul hit Arachne's, it came to life... And was changed quite quickly to resemble Medusa rather than Arachne, since Arachne's soul was gone. The elongated face changed to a slightly larger face, the eyes becoming snake-like with narrowed pupils. Her hair stayed black like Arachne's, but instantly formed into the style of Medusa's original hair, the little snake-tongue curl and all. The long, spider-like dress instantly became a shortened hoodie-dress, mixing Medusa's trademark hoodie with Arachne's dress to come to a compromise between the two, and Medusa's vector snake tail sticking out in the back. Around the collar of her hoodie was a spider-web, signifying some traits of Arachne still applied to this body, which was basically good all the same for Medusa... For now she had a bit of Arachne's power within her own power.

"... Excellent... Well done, Eruka... Free..." she would say to them, even though they weren't in the area. Medusa was happy to have her own body back... Though she enjoyed Kaerei's power, she had gotten a little tired of being so cramped in that tiny child's body... it barely held Medusa's soul, so holding Kaerei's as well was difficult.

"... You know, if you wish, you may return to your swamp. You are a significant ally and I need you in your own environment. I will not hesitate to find you if I need you, however..."

Medusa had not yet looked at Kaerei's new form... But meh. She'd be fine.

Kaerei was finally in her own body... Even if it was the body of a little girl. Though, Kaerei could deal with this a lot more than Medusa could... Made her more flexible and agile, and less susceptible to attacks, since she was a smaller target. She was fine with this.

"Geko... Geko geko geko... Finally... I have my own body back... Gekori..."

Kaerei assumed her normal position of squatting down, looking creepily at the ground. As a little girl, she seemed to have large, cute frog gloves and a frog hat, both being a grayish black sort of color. Her hair was still long and silver, but was in pig tails, and her insane, menacing stare was more cute than it was creepy... And she wore a dress. Hm. Not only that, but she didn't have those flaps around her legs or waist she could extend or use as a parachute... Hm. But her dress could serve that purpose from now on. Everything about Kaerei was fine.

"... Gekori... If you ever need me, snake witch... You have my gratitude for that magic... and those souls... Gekogekogekogeko..."

And with that, Kaerei started to seep into the ground as if it were a liquid, as she hadn't done in so long, making her way back to the Black Swamp... Boy, it had been too long.

Croak 31: Gekogekogeko... Sleuthing the Library...

After getting used to her new, child's body, Kaerei was beginning to feel like normal again. Only shorter.

"Geko gekori... It has been a while.. Since I have caused havoc on my own account without the Snake Witch... Geko... Regardless, my reasoning for being in this place... Geeeko..."

She didn't like being away from her swamp, really, but it was okay for now. She looked up any books that were on her, which were not many due to the very little history there was on her. She smiled devilishly, snickering to herself, her mouth salivating with acid.

"... Burn... Burn... I want no records of me in this place..."

She spat on the book, causing it to disintegrate almost instantaneously. There was no trace of it.

"... Mission one, accomplished... Now, for mission two..."

She started to silently search for other books... Oddly enough, in the ominous potion section.

As Kaerei searched through the books, she gathered all of the ones on ominous potions that she didn't currently know already. Yes, she needed to know all of the ominous potions for unknown reasons. She opened one of the books and glanced at it.

"... Geko!"

Good stuff in that book. Yes, they were most useful. That was her second mission comple-- wait a minute. What was this? Books on... Other people? Mayhaps she should take a look at those... And burn them, too? Hm... Contemplating...

Kaerei had decided... Why burn just some books when she could just as easily destroy the entire library? Yes. That was definitely the key. For random vandalism, just destroying everything is key. But.. She realized, she might need more books before she did that. Maybe some on some more spirits...

Damn. Okay, this would be harder than expected. Why couldn't random vandalism be easier..? Maybe if she wanted to randomly vandalize something, it shouldn't be something she found so... Useful. She needed these books... So she would have to go find another place on the planet to melt.

"Geko... I'll find a place."

She left swiftly.

Croak 32: Nathan's Room

After her 'attack' on the Library, Kaerei needed something else to senselessly vandalize. What better than the house of some typical old ninja in a typical old house, eh? She entered as a spirit, slipping up through the floor.

"Geko... Looks like the room of a shmoe..."

Her mouth began to salivate with acid , overflowing in her mouth and dripping onto the floor... Burning through it. She snickered lightly, ready to melt this place.

Kaerei squatted down in her signature position, head lowered and arms resting on her bent knees. She slowly turned her head to Nathan, her acid still dripping down. All she did was laugh.

"Gekogekogekogekogekogekogeko..."

She spewed acid at Nathan's bed, which would definitely dissolve his bed instantly upon contact. It felt good to be normal again... Ah, how Kaerei missed it...

Because of Kaerei's... Erm... 'heritage,' this Spiritual Pressure wasn't exactly as effective as he would have originally thought it would be. However, Kaerei did notice its power.

"... Oh... This is something I always feel surging through the Chaos village... Geko geko... Delicious... Let me take your spirit...."

Kaerei was accustomed to such a small and contained place... And so, she wasn't really into fighting here. She really did just want to destroy things and go. Oh well... She was thirsty for his life essence and his soul, either way. Kaerei slipped through the floor gradually as if it were a liquid, not even trying to see what Nathan was about to do. Under Nathan's feet, however, acid began to pool up, aiming to take him down and melt him to nothingness in the same sense.

Because Nathan was most likely not in a form in which he could freely pass through solid objects, himself, he probably would not be able to follow Kaerei as swiftly as she could move, as she passed through all solid objects as if they were liquids at this point in time. This was the Black Jump that allowed her to do this, and because of her 'heritage,' she could swim at incredible speeds. So, she swam through the walls and such as Nathan blatantly punched... whatever was between him and her.

She popped up, then flew into the ceiling just the same. This time around, acid began to pour from the entire ceiling, threatening to melt the entire room down to nothingness.

Croak 33: And So It Continues

Though Kaerei was forced out of the home of Nathan, which she wanted to vandalize more thoroughly, it would seem as though she were on a magical bridge now... Huh. It seemed to shift straight upward, but gravity did not affect the ones touching it... Cool. Regardless, she had more space to strike... Though she was not accustomed to fighting.. above the ground.

Oh well. She started to mumble something under her breath slightly, then snickered a bit.

"... I don't care what you say... I just want to know what your soul tastes like... And what your face looks like melted off of your body... I'll do to you what I did to that one for my former Diamond Master... Gekogeko..."

She continued to mumble and the skies would darken...

Kaerei stayed exactly how she was. Oh, how she enjoyed those who knew nothing of her power... The very moment he got close to her, about 5 feet away from her, it would be revealed that Kaerei wasn't Kaerei anymore. Nathan would be literally forced to instantly stop in his tracks where he was, and Kaerei would change into him... However, it looked as if it were a raggedy, beat up version of him... A Voodoo Doll.

Kaerei's sinister laugh could be heard from behind the doll, and she would nonchalantly walk out from behind it. Nathan was literally stuck where he was.

"... If you want to live... I would suggest that you do not move... Geeekogekogeko... My Voodoo Clone is very potent... Geko... I hope... You know what it is that Voodoo does...? Gekori."

Kaerei knew that if Nathan struggled against the Voodoo link that had been made with his soul, he would instantaneously die for it... And she also knew that she was the only one who could unleash him safely without him suffering this fate. If he were to have sliced that Voodoo Clone, he would have been sliced in two, as well. Technically, she did him a favor, once he hit that 5 foot marker.

"All I want.. Is your soul..."

Kaerei seeped into the ground once more, utilizing her Black Jump ability as she ever so loved too do. She knew about the power of his Ring, as well.. He had used it on her to bring her here. In doing that, he allowed her to analyze it. Therefore, she also made it so that if such a thing were used to break the link in any way, it would end in him losing his soul.

And to top it all off, the skies were not dark for nothing. When Kaerei mumbled the first time, she created the Voodoo Clone. The second, she had cursed the skies with her Shamanistic and Druid ways, causing it to rain... though this was not normal rain... it was pure acid. She swam under the Bridge as if it were water, readying her next tactic...

"Geko...? He escaped...? No matter.. Next time I will increase the spiritual bond... Geko geko... Even the slightest alteration will... Geeekogekogeko..."

Kaerei was still rather ecstatic. Not only that, but even though he had escaped the binding link, that didn't mean that the doll hadn't already copied him. Therefore, even if it wasn't connected to his soul directly, whatever happened to it still directly affected him... And Kaerei aimed to take full advantage of this.

Regardless, Nathan flew up into the sky. And it was raining. Raining acid, no less. This was not acid rain, but literally raining down pure acid. Flying directly into the storm clouds was not smart, especially if their very essences were cursed. Besides that, the acid rain would definitely affect the Voodoo Doll, which would affect Nathan directly, even if no acid touched him. What a predicament, non? Besides THAT, Kaerei still lurked in the depths of the Bridge... Waiting. And to make sure Nathan literally could not trace her presence or even existence unless he saw her with his own eyes, she used a very, VERY powerful, magical soul ability...

"Soul.. Wipe..."

As I just stated before, until she is seen with the eyes directly, she cannot be traced, tracked or located in any way, shape or form. (This means not even by smell or hearing. Hahaha.) It was lucky she met up with Medusa so long ago and made that deal with her... Ha. It was paying off.

"Geeeekoooo... Geeeeeeekooooo..."

Her voice seemed to echo throughout the entire area, right before some more incoherent, rhythmic mumbling..

Something started to happen to the rain. Instead of falling downward, it started to swirl in the air, the focal point in which it was swirling was around Nathan. Before long, all of the acid falling from the sky had become a sort of hurricane around Nathan with an incredible force, aiming to suck out his air, possibly pull his body apart, but more importantly... try to burn through his body. This was the Acidic Revolution at work. Kaerei was aware of his Storm Flame since he used it to break the Voodoo link, but wasn't sure how strong it was. No matter.

The ground below the Voodoo Clone would ripple, showing that Kaerei had emerged slightly from the ground. She grabbed the clone then brought it down under with her. She did not want it to stay in that dome. Technically, she had Nathan's life in her hands... But she wanted to toy with him, first. That's how she was... She likes to play with her food. She finally resurfaced visibly near the top of the Bridge, up near the clouds, crouching over with the Voodoo doll safely attached to her back.

"... Geko... Would you like me to show you... How you will die?"

Kaerei took in a very large breath, then exhaled, as if she were enjoying the smell of the air at this altitude... Oh, how great it was. She could do nothing but laugh... geko geko. She stared at Nathan to see how he fared in the acid hurricane...

Kaerei gave a raspy laugh.. Her gloves stiffened to a point, making them very blade-like. She would hold her stiffened hand to the throat of the doll.

"Geko geko geko... Who says I'm going to kill you like this...? I want to play with you first... Would you really separate a little girl and her doll..? Gekogekogeko..."

She started to sloooooowwwwly dig her pointed finger into a non-vital point of the neck, however she made it so that it hit a point that was very much painful to Nathan. Poisons and acids slowly crept up her arm, threatening to enter the doll, resulting in Nathan's bloodstream and possibly... many other things to be infected.

The acid and poison stopped right before entering Nathan's neck through Kaerei's arm, and she would look up to him with her cute, insane, malicious eyes. She gave a frog-like, slender smile as words started to slip between her lips...

"... Geeeko... I am called the Spirit of the Black Swamp... I am nothing like you have ever experienced before... Geko... Geko geko... That is all you need to know. And what are you?... Otherworldly beings tell me... You aren't human either..."

Kaerei sniffed the air, her smile growing wider and the eyes on her cute little hat gleaming, her hat now shadowing her real eyes.

"... I can smell it... Your fear and anxiety... Your concern for your life... Your struggle on what to do now... Yes, it is all apparent in your smell... And written all over your face... Gekogekogeko... So what will you do, subhuman? It only takes an inch before your life in sealed... Gekooo... Your fear makes me salivate..."

It was true, for a sliver of acid dripping from Kaerei's mouth, dangling above the doll's head, as if it were threatening him even further. It would burn straight through his body in that one spot if the droplet were to hit.. However, she slurped it back up.

"... Three minutes. I will give you three before I harvest your soul... Gekoooo..."

Kaerei continued to laugh, getting louder and louder as Nathan continued to change. Her body started to wisp once he surrounded her, and then she disappeared, leaving only the doll, it seemed. Her voice could still be heard, even though she seemed to be gone...

"Geko geko geko... I have you... With my Deadly Mist..."

With Nathan so close, the mist was bound to already be inside of him. How? When Kaerei gave that large, sharp exhale, she released a scentless, colorless mist that was not only completely adaptive to everything, but since Nathan had been breathing for so long, even before he used his flames, and thus the effects were already in place. Kaerei only gave that time limit because that's how long it would take before his entire body would shut down... Chakra, senses, bodily functions, literally everything. All forms of energy, all thoughts, all movement... It would all become literally useless thanks to this gas... Not that Nathan knew.

"... Tick... Tock..."

She had to be found before the 3 minutes were up, and he had already wasted about 40 seconds. By this time, however, the weevil would be walking into the area, and if he breathed in as well, the same would happen to him, as well. The mist had already consumed the entire area, but because it wasn't traceable, the weevil wouldn't know a thing... That is, unless he overheard Kaerei say that to Nathan.

Croak 34: The Dark Alchemist Vs. Spirit Of The Black Swamp

"Geeeko geko geko gekori.... Geeeko gekori..."

There was an ominous, eerie sort of melody coming from out of nowhere... sounding a little like that of the croaking of a frog. It was not an ordinary frog's croaking, but was definitely similar in various ways...

"Geeeko geko gekori geko gekori.... Geko geko gekori..."

A song that sounded rather menacing, yet soothing... eerie, yet calm... disturbing, but serene... threatening, but also unsettling at the same time. Wherever it came from, it was definitely getting closer and closer with each croak...

"Gekogekogekogekogekogeko..."

The chant sounded more like a laugh now... a sinister and insane sort of laugh. It went on again...

"Geeekogekogekogekogekogeko!"

Finally, after a moment or two of silence, something began to happen. Acid started to slip up from the ground, burning away any of the snow above it almost instantly. It released a terrible, specific toxic gas... Something that the likes of the planet hadn't experienced for quite a very long time... It was the power of Kaerei's poison and acids, some of the most potent stuff on Ves.

"Oh... To stain this planet with my toxins... Geko geko... To fill the darkness with my croaks... Geeeko geko geko..."

The puddle of acid grew larger and from it, Kaerei appeared... Naturally, as a child because of some previous... 'altercations' she had. Regardless, she was still just as menacing as when she was an adult. She took her signature crouching position on the balls of her feet, her elbows resting on her thighs and she started to laugh again, her eyes covered by the shade of her hair and her hat.

"Geko geko geko... Being a weapon, you start to want a lot of souls every now and then... Geko. Gekori... Such a taste is a wonderful thing in this world... Geeeko.."

Kaerei smiled, not moving from her position, only beginning to laugh a bit once the lightning came her way.

"Gekogekogekogeko..."

Just then, the lightning coming toward her would become weaker after they reached a certain point around her, growing smaller and smaller and having less power and less of a charge once they got closer. Finally, when they were close enough, a small wall of acid shot up around Kaerei and erased the remaining portion of the electricity shot at her. She looked up to Alaude once, her eyes looking menacing and insane, yet cute at the same time due to her size and appearance.

"... Corrosion... It doesn't just affect the soul... Geko geko..."

From Kaerei's feet, the puddle of acid expanded further outward, eliminating all of the snow that it came across. Kaerei aimed to get rid of all of the snow around, for she really hated snow in general... it was disgusting to her.

Kaerei laughed a little under her breath again, starting to seep into the ground. This was one of her favorite abilities... her most useful and most used ability in battle... What has helped her the most in every single qualm she has been in... the Black Jump.

Kaerei slipped through the ground as if it were a liquid, disappearing instantly. Using her Soul Wipe ability, she became literally untrackable in every aspect... Very thankful to Medusa for teaching her that Soul Protect, or else she would never have taught herself that Soul Wipe ability. There would be an eerie wind around Alaude... something not normal... and from it, Kaerei seemed to appear and lunged at him maliciously trying to literally bite his head off. Normally, Kaerei wasn't so direct with her attacks...

'Kaerei' smiled as she was impaled by the steel, as the moment it touched her, it started to melt... Her wounds seemed fatal, but in actuality, they were not... That was when Alaude tried to attack her with himself curled up as a ball... Oh, what a bad thing to do. He made contact with 'Kaerei,' and with that, she exploded with a very high amount of pressurized acid of extreme intensity... Enough to melt through most substances with the utmost ease... As if it were nothing. The acid threatened to dissolve whatever came in its way, that being Alaude, at the moment. If it passed through his metal, then it would surely and quickly burn off some of his limbs... It was an Acid Clone all along.

"Gekogekogeko... Geko geko... You... Have never heard of me, have you...? Gekori..."

Kaerei was the master of hiding and evasive maneuvers. It was one of her best skills, in fact.

"... Do you know where I am...? Geko... geko... Can you find me? You'd better hope I don't get you first... otherwise... Your soul is mine... Gekori!"

Just then, right behind Alaude, a figure appeared. It definitely seemed to be Kaerei, as her eyes glowed with malice and her mouth stretched out wide into an insane smile... She was crackling with some sort of unknown power that resembled electricity in a sense... but didn't seem to be it. Kaerei was slightly wispy, and she would wisp at Alaude hopefully off guard from the Acid Clone attack and would try going right for his chest. It must have been a while since she'd had a soul... Oh, Kaerei.

"Geeeko..."

Of course, the transmutation of acid would not mean that the acid was not still under Kaerei's control. She used very non-conventional means to control her acid... She used her Shamanistic and Druid abilities to do so. Therefore, Kaerei began to chant a low tune mantra of sorts... though, her mouth did not move..

"Geko gekori... gekogeko gekori..."

Just then, the acidic portion of the swords would begin to try to explode violently, as they were made from the Acid Clone in the first place, whose purpose was to explode. Thus, Kaerei aimed to explode the swords from the inside out via the explosive power of the acid within.

Though Kaerei was apparently standing right in sight of Alaude, she wisped out of the area for a moment and appeared floating above his head, still crackling with this... electricity, of sorts. Gravity didn't seem to affect her, nor did any normal things that would affect a human... Closer inspection would reveal that she wasn't breathing... because she wasn't truly Kaerei. Again, a clone, this time being one of her spirits taking the form of her, the spirit being the 'Spiritual Shock' spirit. It swiped at Alaude violently, being touched even slightly by the spirit or its electrical current would cause physical and mental paralysis throughout his entire body and mind, leaving him as a temporary vegetable. But... Where was the true Kaerei, one could only wonder?

The spirit clone of Kaerei was blown away through the explosion, as if it were nothing but a puff of gas. Thus, the field was silent once more.. Well, not for long, that is. From the ground, Kaerei appeared again, the ground rippling like water below her. She was laughing to herself, still in the squatting position she originally took at the beginning of the battle.

"... Geko geko... Tread lightly across this field... It's my territory now... No matter what you do or where you go, I shall always be near you... Even when you think I'm not... Geeeko geko gekori..."

Just then, Kaerei jumped backward and omitted from her mouth a black mist of sorts before disappearing... This being her Black Breath attack. It would quickly be able to hinder the vision of Alaude, as it was completely pitch black, despite it being a gas. It was like a very thick smoke, but unlike any smoke that existed. Much different, in fact...

"Geko.. It's a good thing that you created that mask to protect your mouth... But there are many other openings on your body that it can easily get into... Geko geko... Cover yourself..."

The black mist spread rather quickly, as if it were eating the very air itself. The entire field would be totally cloaked in this blackness in just moments.

Though Alaude thought he was attacking Kaerei, she had actually fazed out as a wisp when she fired out the smoke, hiding in oblivion just like before. She still meant what she said about him watching his step... In fact, randomly, there would be two massive explosions of acid from either side of him, which seemed to stem from underground at first. The acidic explosions were extremely wide in range, disintegrating whatever was around. The mist would be blown away for a quick moment, but would quickly come back. Suddenly, in the mist, eyes would appear, glowing, staring at Alaude in this form... They moved in an eerie, dreamy fashion, as if they weren't even there... As they moved, the mist started to stir and concentrate around Alaude's general area.

"Can you catch me...? Do you know where I am...? Geko gekori.."

For some reason, Kaerei didn't seem to be doing much... One could only wonder why. Her true location... Where was it? What was she doing? Flowing water could be heard in the distance, the eyes still moving dreamily... There was an odd smell in the air... the air became a little more humid and dank despite the cold weather...

With the constant flapping of his wings, as well as some help from Kaerei, the Black Mist would disappear from the area, totally cleared. However, in the meantime, the entire area had become swampy before Alaude's eyes... The air was now completely dank and humid while there was a new sort of mist rolling in now... a natural mist omitted from the swamp. The water heard before was actually the blackened waters of the swamp... It was her Black Swamp. She called it here and had it traverse the planes and realms just to enter this place. She was now complete, as the Black Swamp gave her maximum potential and maximum power just by being in it... Kaerei started to laugh.

She emerged from the blackened waters, standing on top of them, crouched down on the balls of her feet with arms rested on her thighs, just as before. She said not a word to Alaude... She only pulled out many extremely tiny spheres from somewhere on her body. There were quite a few in just her one hand alone... a little over ten could fit. They were very tiny and hard to see. She threw them high into the sky, then produced more, then threw them up as well, repeating the process. They would reach up to Alaude's height and, wouldn'tcha know it, the spheres would all go off randomly, causing extremely large explosions all over the skies. Despite their small size, they were rather potent and gave off large explosions... Of course, they were bombs. Kaerei's Geko Geko bombs, in fact. They were conventional bombs with no acidic or poisonous attributes, only used for their pure, very large explosive force and their almost unseeable sizes. They were quite useful in such situations. She would continue to throw up bombs, hoping to make Alaude dance in the skies with them... Geko~.

Croak 35: A Ranking Exam?

A puddle of swamp-like water would appear on the ground, the acidic and toxic properties of this swamp water gunk melting away any snow or frost from the ground, as well as anything else, as a figure appeared from the depths of the puddle.

"Gekogekogeko... Geeekogekogeko..."

It was a little girl, it would seem, crouched down on her knees on the balls of her feet with elbows resting comfortably on her thighs. Her face couldn't be seen, as it was hidden by hair and the shadow of her hat, but the froggy eyes of the hat stared this girl right in the face.

"... Gekori..."

The eyes of the frog hat that Kaerei wore upon her head looked upward in place of Kaerei's own eyes as Kaerei started to laugh again.

"Gekogekogekogeko... Proctor...? You wish for a ranking exam...? Gekori.. I am not interested in giving you a rank, only in your soul... It looks delicious... Geko."

Kaerei could sense someone else that came from a swamp from across the Dusk Village and in the Enigmas were her own Black Swamp resided. When a new swamp territory was found, Kaerei only wanted to consume it to further her own Black Swamp's length.

"... Don't run, this will be fun, geko.."

Her smile grew large, wide and froggy as her eyes gleamed in the shadow of her hair and hat. The puddle of murky, acidic swamp water spread across the ground swiftly, almost instantly burning away everything it touched as to make more room for the deadly swamp water that Kaerei stood perfectly still on. She licked her lips and an eye twitched... This was a terrible predicament that Chidoka was in now.

"... The Spirit of the Black Swamp chooses you..."

Kaerei only laughed at the futile attack, as the acid puddle on the ground shot upward like a geyser and instantaneously burnt away all the earth that came near. Kaerei's swampy acid was extremely potent after years of honing it, even back in the Nightmare village...

At this point in time, Kaerei's body started to sink into the ground, flowing through it as if it were a liquid. The Black Jump. She slipped through the very earth itself and began to 'swim' through it, her location suddenly unknown. There would be a rumbling under the ground now, as about 10 Geko Geko bombs flew up from the ground. They were no larger than the size of marbles, however when they exploded, they had all the potency of a highly advanced, deadly bomb. The 10 of them went off in sequence, the bombs blowing away whatever was caught in their blast radius, even the ground itself in that area. Kaerei was nowhere to be found, though her voice echoed throughout the area.

"Gekogekogekori..."

No matter where she moved, it was useless at this point. Kaerei had already trapped her. An image of Kaerei formed behind her, hovering slightly above her head, mouth gaping an the more acidic of acids dripping right from her mouth. She lunged at Chidoka, trying to consume her head whole and completely burn it off from her neck so that Kaerei could taste the delicious innards of a new genin... All that could be heard throughout the field was "Gekogekogekogekogekori..."

Yes, it would seem as though Kaerei had just gotten got... If that were the real Kaerei. Kaerei would never be that stupid in her life, even for a genin... Besides... she liked to play with her food. She hated following the ethical order.

So, the 'Kaerei' that was just burned was merely a ghastly projection of her... one of her spirits taking her form for just that purpose... For when Chidoka took those steps back, there would suddenly be massive explosions of pure acid and compressed toxic gas and liquids going off in a chain reaction all over the field. Kaerei's signature tactic... the landmines. Soon, the entire area would be filled with nothing but acid of the highest potency and poisons of the same effect.

Just then the ground began to ripple in the midst of the explosions... Kaerei had emerged from the ground this time.

"Geko geko geko geko... My Swamp Grenades work wonders underground.. as usual... Now be burned to a crisp so I may consume your delicious soul... Geeekogekogekogekogeko..."

Kaerei licked her lips with her long, froggy tongue and awaited the explosions to stop, mumbling something under her breath as the atmosphere around her changed...

Croak 36: A Favor... Geko...

In the depths of the ever mobile, ever mysterious Black Swamp, the ruler of the swamp, the Voodoo/Shama/Witch Doctor/etc. master, Kaerei, was peering over into the middle of the swampy water, as if concocting something within it.

"Geko gekori... I am going... to need more souls soon..."

Kaerei licked her lips in anticipation, ready to consume as many souls as she could. It had been a long time since she had been out of her swamp and she needed to be appeased... And wouldn't you know it, just as soon as she did, she would get a message from Medusa via one of the snakes that Kaerei kept to keep in touch with her. How lucky.

Medusa: Frog Spirit... I am in need of your assistance once more...

Now Kaerei was one that needed compensation for her work and needed to be guaranteed of it, so if she was not there was going to be hell to pay.

"Geko... What is it that you need, Snake Witch..."

Medusa: I need you to do two things... I need you to first set up a tower in your swamp. I will give you the instructions on how to create it, but it will be beneficial to you more than it is to myself. The second thing is... I need you to use your Voodoo and Hoodoo magics to protect my workers as they complete my mission... They are... Being attacked, you see, and I need them to be safe until all of the towers are up. Can you help me?

Kaerei stopped churning whatever she was churning in her swamp, stood to her feet and dusted herself off with her overly long sleeves. Her eyes were hidden by her hat, but she licked her lips as if she had hatched an idea.

"Geko... That can be arranged... Though I will need my compensation... I need souls... Many, many souls... If I do not have my souls... Then I will have yours, Snake Witch. Agree with your binding word to my deal..."

Medusa did not hesitate in agreement, for she knew she could get the souls for Kaerei in compensation... But she needed her workers right now, which everyone decided to come stop right now.

Medusa: Alright. I accept your terms.

Kaerei's smile grew wide, insane... showing how malicious her thoughts were.

"Geko geko geko geko geko... Excellent... Now... About this tower...?"

Medusa explained the schematics of the tower and how to power the tower up, which required the use of souls, though Kaerei was going to use her summoned spirits to power it... Which would give her the same results. When Medusa was done, she asked Kaerei to make a few potions and a few dolls for her... Naturally, Kaerei agreed to that as well, and when she was done, Medusa disconnected her message.

"... Ge? It is time... Geko..."

Kaerei summoned 100 spirits up real nice and real fast, having them to work on the tower whilst she worked on the potions. The dolls were already made, but the potions would take some time. Kaerei started to mix and match many ingredients and such with great care and precision, her swamp lighting up an array of colors. The spirits seemed to be taking their sweet, precious time creating this tower... Why? Because they seemed to want it to last instead of be half-assed. Kaerei was always diligent, despite being a crazy witch doctor shaman lady.

Some time had past since Medusa sent the message, and in that time period, Kaerei had created as many potions as she needed for Medusa. In the mean time, the spirits were just about done creating the tower for her. Kaerei disappeared, reappearing outside like a ghost, looking the tower up and down to see if it was flawed.

"Mmm geko... Geko... Yes... This is good... We can use it... It will cover the entire swamp gekori... I am very happy..."

The 100 spirits that had created the magnificent monument would be flattered by Kaerei's happiness, and would quickly finish their jobs by sealing themselves in the tower to power it up. Kaerei smiled her twisted, insane smile again, this time laughing with it.

"Gekogekogekogekogekogeko... Now... For the other part..."

By 'the other part,' Kaerei meant the protection of Eruka, Mizune, Free and Crona, the ones who were under fire at the time. Kaerei pulled out 4 dolls, plus an extra Otama Jackson one, and started to look into her swamp. The swamp would glow for only a moment, and then show Kaerei what was going on with Eruka, Mizune and Free as well as separately with Crona, and even with Medusa. All of their locations, all of their positions.

"... The frog and the mouse... They are in trouble... Ge."

Kaerei acted swiftly on them, working her magic on those two and Otama Jackson, initiating a voodoo spell that would protect them from harm at the cost of their magical powers momentarily. They wouldn't and couldn't be harmed by attacks, but the price was that they would become exceptionally weak with their magic until the voodoo spell wore off. Kaerei laughed maniacally, now fixing to work on Free, Crona and Medusa if they were to get into some trouble...

"Geko gekori... May all attacks be reflected off of your supple, delicious skin..."

Croak 37: Geko Geko...

A wispy apparition appeared before the Chaotic Palace, probably seeking a Digimon, just like all the rest. It only made a low croaking sound to get its point across.

"Gekogekogeko... Geko..."

The words were translated thoroughly by the system, taking them and processing them for what they really were. Moments later and Otamamon would appear before the wispy apparition, as well as a wispy looking digivice.

"Have a nice day."

Croak 38: Returning With An Echo Herb

The mission with Sophia seems like it was a success. The Echo herb was retrieved, and with minimal injuries to everyone. Returning to the village with the Echo herb, Nikolai checks the mission listing to see where the herb needed to be delivered. Seems like the person who posted this mission wanted the Echo Herb to be delivered to the Mezzanine.

Showing the listing to Sophia to confirm the drop off site, he starts to walk to the Mezzanine, looking back to see if Sophia was following.

It seemed like there were still some remnants of the amnesia for she had forgotten they needed to take the herb to the patron. She would see Nikolai going on up head and quickly followed behind him. Se let him lead her this time...it was only natural for a man to take charge of these types of things....among "Others".

Well as the two entered the Mezzanine doors, they would find themselves at the front desk, as if checking into a hotel.

Desk Clerk: Hello there, and welcome to the Mezzanine! Do you wish to take up residence here?

The Desk Clerk seemed nice enough. She was also rather young and attractive, and peppy. It was nice to have service like this.

Ahh the Mezzanine, this place was always fun to come back to. Noticing that this time there was a cute desk clerk, he walks up with Sophia, as she asks the two of them about taking up residence. Smiling he shakes his head, he didn’t know about Sophia, but he already had a room at this fine establishment.

“No, no. We are just here to return an Echo Herb to whoever posted this mission listing. Would you have any idea who might have needed one?” he asks handing her the listing.

She took the list, skimming the name a bit, realizing exactly who it was that needed it.

Desk Clerk: Oh, oh yes! That's the old woman who lives on the second floor. Just put it in her mailbox and I'm sure she'll come down to get it.

She looked at Nikolai, feeling as if she'd seen him before... Perhaps he already had a room here, or something.

Desk Clerk: Well if you decide you wish to take up residency, then just come back. It's all free!

Sophia wasn't one for having people step on her toes when they took an interest to something she wanted...seeing the SLIGHTLY attractive girl subtly making moves on Nikolai she stepped up casualy.

"Actually if you don't mind...I'd prefer to deliver it to the patron in person"

She said in a slightly irate voice the irateness wasn't, really noticeable.

Not really being the most observant person for some things, Nikolai didn’t quite understand why Sophia seemed to be slightly angry right now, perhaps it was just in his head though.

“I have to agree, this mission was to deliver the Echo Herb and until the person who posted this mission has the Echo Herb in their hands, we can’t confirm the mission is complete.”

The Desk Clerk shrugged her shoulders, feeling a hint of Sophia's emotion from their natural womanly instincts clashing. Her perky attitude became slightly annoyed as well, as she pointed to the elevators.

Desk Clerk: Suuure... Elevators are right over there. Unless you'd prefer to take the stairs, Miss...?

Of course, she spoke only to Sophia. Nikolai was free to take the elevators.

Desk Clerk: She's in room 214.

First instinct!....Rip her head off.....The lady instinct..ignore the non factor of life and continue with the mission.

"WE'LL take the elevators..thank you kindly for you..."Hospitality""

She said ever so sarcastically with just a hint of elegance as she grabbed Nikolai arm and got on the elevator looking back at the desk clerk while giving her as rather snobbish yet vindicated look as the doors closed.

Simply nods as he follows Sophia into the elevator, the feeling in the air telling him that a catastrophe was just avoided and he should be careful about what he does lest he restart it. His instincts saying that the mission was nothing compared to the danger that was just present.

Once the elevator doors closed, the air around them seemed to calm down to what it had been before.

“This mission went surprisingly smoothly. I hope we can work together in the future.” He says with a smile, no longer worried about what he felt on the main floor.

As the elevator rose up, after only a couple moments, it would screech to a halt, jerking about violently for a moment or two before becoming completely stationary. Sounding exhausted, the normally wonderfully, smoothly functioning elevator seemed to have lost its power and was now at a halt; not moving up, not moving down. What could have caused this? Especially to the swanky self-repairing Mezzanine? It couldn't have been anything good...

Sophia blushed at Nikolai words...he was Indeed a gentleman.

"And I hope for the same thing...we make a pretty goo "team""

She said her eyes narrowing glaring at him seductively. But her glare would suddenly shake as the elevator came to a halt. She didn't know much about technology but she figured they had reached thier stop.

"Oh..well..I suppose were here"

She said as she waited for the doors to open...they didn't however.

"The hell is going on....if its that little whore from the desk playing tricks I swear ill!"

She stood there angrily trying to figure out what happened.

His cheeks redden under her glare, when suddenly the elevator shook and stopped. Thinking the same as Sophia he waits for the doors to open, then becomes suspicious when nothing seemed to happen. Pressing the button to open the door, he also forms a quick hand sign to activate Chaotic Waves which would send out incredibly gentle/small waves flowing through the elevator and its surroundings, allowing him to see what is happening all around the elevator to see what could have caused them to stop.

“This is odd…”

The release of the Chaotic Waves into the elevator's systems was enough for him to see what was going on, but also fried the elevator even more than before. Now, with a series of quick and violent jerks...

KAJIGGAJIGGA!!

The elevator fell silent.

... ... ...

And then it fell. With great speed taking it down to the very depths of the Mezzanine, the elevator would fall and crash in the Basement, where the doors would smash open and reveal a dark and murky place underground... The basement area was not as luxurious as the upper levels... Yet, it was supposed to be, this being the top-notch Mezzanine and all. Hmm...

As this all happened and as they fell Sophia would yet up rubbing her toosh from the pain of the impact. "Great thinking Nikolai" is what she wanted to blurt out sarcasticly but she merely glared at him. She then turned her attention to the murky depths the were now in.

"Why do I get the feeling....were not in the mezzanine at all?"

She said slowly taking a few outward steps and looking around.

Just as Nikolai started to ‘see’ around the elevator, the elevator jerked, becoming deathly silent before plummeting. Realizing how fast it was falling he touches the wall activating Gravitational Shift decreasing the gravity affecting it slowing it down as much as he could to lessen the crash.
As the door to the elevator crashed open, he would look to Sophia and see if she was okay, before turning back to the dark basement. Following Sophia’s lead he leaves the elevator to see where they were and try to figure out what had just happened.

As they both exited the elevator doors, they would find themselves face to face with complete darkness. This darkness served to hinder not only their sight, but instill fear into their hearts. There seemed to be nothing there at all for Nikolai to pick up, but it was clear that something supernatural was... out there. They would have to just venture in deeper...

As they walked their seem to be nothing but impenetrable darkness l. She would gather her fire chakra in her hand and created a light of sorts to aid them.

"Dammit...where the hell are we...this is pissing Me off!"

Sticking close to Sophia he kept Chaotic Waves active, so he could ‘see’ clearly anything within 20 feet of him that was in contact with a solid surface. The darkness was almost overpowering, but being near the light Sophia created made it easier to stop the slight fear.

“I…I don’t know. The elevator should have crashed in the basement….but this doesn’t look anything like it. Something is up, let’s be careful going on ahead.”

The two of them would find that both of their means of sensing were utterly nulled here; the flames instantly brought to darkness by an eerie and chilling wind, and Nikolai's chaotic waves going haywire upon combating the energies of what creature was up ahead... A low vibration could be heard in the air, as if of a resonance...

gekogekogekogekogekori... gerogekori...

The sound of the croaks of frogs? That was impossible, for this sound could only come from one being... Kaerei, the spirit of the Black Swamp.

The two of them would find that their feet had been stepping into completely black muck as they walked closer to her, her form unable to be detected in the darkness at all, save for her glowing frog-like eyes.

"Did you bring my herbs...?"

As she traveld her Flame would've poofed out...but not of her own volition...she then found herself walking in some type of muck that would seep into her shoes. Looking up she noticed the froggy eyes glaring at the two of them...This shit wasnt real...was it?

"Dammit...my shoes..I just bought these...Ahh!"
She said as the eerie voice spoke out to them.. they had indeed gotten the herbs...but who was this creature...

"Umm..Yes we have them for you..."

Not many things struck fear into the young Death goddesses heart..but this shit was just plain creepy.

Oddly enough his jutsu kept canceling itself as Sophia’s flame faded out. Slightly hesitantly he continues to walk into the darkness, his feet sticking to the ground ever so slightly; it seemed to be covered in something. As he wondered what exactly it was, a pair of eyes appeared in the darkness, and a voice rang out asking for the herbs.

“We have the herbs, but are you really the one who requested them? We were told that it was someone on the second floor.”

gekogekogekogeko... Give me the herbs, child...

It didn't seem that this apparition was in the mood for bargaining, or talking. A sinister wisp would chill the both of their souls, lifting from them the Echo Herbs that she so kindly referred to in the midst of their bone-chilling fear. It would seem like they simply floated over to her in the darkness-- not that they could see it happen-- and into her hand.

... Gekori... Now away...

She slumped down, croaking as she did, fiddling with the herbs a bit. What she was doing was unknown, but it was clear that some sort of magical mystical thing was happening here and now... right before their eyes... And they couldn't even see it.

She felt the herbs leaving her pockets she thought nothing of it Until Nikolai mentioned about the client being on the second floor....this wasn't who thus were supposed to give them to. And so as soon as they left Sophia grabbed the herbs before they left her vicinity...Something wasn't right but until they figured out what....This from lady wasn't getting shit.

“Who are you, and why do you want the herbs so badly? And should I assume it was you who crashed the elevator?”

He asked slightly annoyed with how they were being treated, only slightly hearing Sophia move to grab the herbs that were being stolen without Nikolai’s knowledge.

To Sophia's dismay, she would not be able to touch the Echo Herbs now that her spirits had, as they would become intangible and her hand would simply phase through, feeling an extremely uncomfortable tingling sensation as she did so.

The old woman shot her glare over to Nikolai, and he would be able to feel all the energies of the Sage running within her body and down into his, which should cause him to tremble from the power shock.

"Gekori...? I did indeed request these herbs... And if you'd care to defy me..."

The sound of snakes could be heard rattling from all around them now, in addition to the croaking of frogs. They hadn't noticed, but they had been being pulled in deeper and deeper into the muck below them, and now they were about knee-high in it.

"I'll just eat your souls as an added bonus... Geko...geko...geko..."

Her eyes gleamed and the both of them should have felt a dark and restricting force upon their entire nervous systems, as well as their souls. Something about this basement's air was different than it was upstairs... Or was it even that? They could not see what she was holding, but it seemed to directly be effecting them. Perhaps... Voodoo?

Feeling her fingers slip through the herbs she felt the sensation that as explained..the chilling sensation flowed through her body sending a feel down her spine l..she then found herself seeping in further through what she thought was the floor....She couldn't stand what she was about to say...she hard feeling defeated but...she knew when she was outmatched and knew when her resources were used up....and so to ensure both of thier lives...this was nessary..

"Ah well...that would suck a lot...Sooo we'll just leave those little herbs in your care and get out of you...Hair "

She sad joyously assuming the being even had hair. Sue looked over to where she thought Nikolai was and hoped both he and she complied these damn herbs weren't worth her body...she wasn't worried about dying it was the hassle of finding another body that she just didn't want to go through.

His entire body shaking from the power of the glare he simply stares back at the eyes, his hatred of those who abuse their power to control others evident in his eyes. The muck had risen up to his knees without him noticing as the sounds of snakes joined in with the croaking of frogs.

The force acting on his body and soul magnifies, the very air around them seems restricting. He was ready to fight back any way he could, when he heard Sophia speak. Calming down slightly, he agrees that the herbs aren’t worth their lives, if need be they could find more.

“Why do you need these herbs? You obviously don’t require their usual ability judging by your voice.”

The sounds of mixing and concocting could be heard ever so faintly from her general area, still under the sound of the frequent snakes and frog hisses and croaks.

Simple... I no one will seek out the ingredients I need when I need them... So I use facades to get the ingredients I need... For my wonderful potions...

The old woman's raspy, croaking voice mimicked that of the frogs for a moment, yet Nikolai and Sophia had thoroughly stopped sinking into the blackness. Stepping forward now, the shadowy old woman reverted her age back to what it truly was... Or perhaps just an age she was more familiar with. She was, in fact, an ageless being. Stepping forward, the lights began to flicker under the influence of the spirits always around her... Or simply because she was a spirit herself living on the physical plane. She was the legendary Sage of the Black Swamp, Kaerei.

"Geko geko... Let you two be the first to try out my magnificent potion... Here... Drink up..."

She gave them a vial that lingered with a reddish pink tint. It smelled exceptionally sweet and inviting, and Kaerei's use of them as test subjects was more than just her asking... If they refused, they would sink to the bottom of her Black Swamp that had utterly consumed the entirety of the basement floor, where their bodies would melt away and their souls would belong to Kaerei, just as the other innumerable spirits she had at her disposal did.

As the being came forth Sophia eyes widened a bit. As she tried to get them to drink Sophia would initially refuse but...soon as she did she began to sink into the muck...she would just have to swallow her pride...and the potion however degrading it was...

"Damn...you evil....Fine..I'll drink this damn potion.."

She said taking the dose of potion and just hoped for the best....this mission had become a total shit fest.

Finally an actual reply he thought, then the person came into sight demanding they drink s strange potion. Seeing Sophia start to sink into the muck when she refused, only stopping when she drank, he sighed. This was getting to be way more than he had signed up for. Grabbing the vial he drinks it, subtly trying to maintain a slight area around the liquid with zero gravity to keep it from touching his mouth, throat and stomach. Whether his control was enough to maintain it or whether Kaerei would notice had yet to be seen.

The moment the potion entered their bodies, whether it touched anything or not, it would activate. It dispersed into pure energy within them, entwining with their very essences and essentially becoming part of them. Kaerei laughed to herself as the very last drop slithered down their throats.

"Gekogekogeko! Excellent... Now... Scream."

If this potion had worked to her liking, then these two should have exceptionally powerful lungs now, similar to what Kaerei had, just on a much, much, much lower scale. They should be able to push things with supersonic screams, as well as never be able to be influenced by the effect of 'Silence' again. Kaerei only patiently waited to see if it worked... But, then again, she was a potion's master. All of her potions always worked, even the new ones.

She could feel a sudden burst f energy within her body...her lungs felt larger and more powerful which intern made her already decently sized breast stick out just a Tad more. As the energy burst within her upper body and mouth filled up with a gassy air...Sophia had to Burl.

BURPPPPPPPP

The power from her lungs amplified the sound and force of the burp to an ridiculous level putting her hand on her mouth she said embrassed .

"Oh...Excuse me"

She said blushing a bit the Nikolai had witnessed such a thing.

As the potion was absorbed into his body, he could feel something change inside himself. Looking over to Sophia he notices her chest swelling slightly. Worried he quickly looks down to his own chest, mistaking the potions effect, but is instantly relieved when he saw that his chest was the same as before. Looking up and yelling at Kaerei, at the same time that Sophia burped, he barely noticed it as a result.

“WHAT DID THAT POTION….”noticing now just how loud his voice was, vibrating the muck around them, a slight realization dawns on him “….do?”

Kaerei crouched to her signature position; on the balls of her feet, elbows leaning casually on her thighs as her sleeves dangled gentle over her hands, as they were too long for her purposefully.

"That potion is a special natural elixir that increases the capacity of air within the lungs... and the vibrations of the vocal cords... Thus allowing for powerful supersonic shouts and an immunity to being 'Silenced'... geko..."

Kaerei looked up from under her large hat just a bit, the shadow of it covering the majority of her face, as did her hair.

"... It looks like it worked for the best... geeekogekogekogeko..."

Since she was done with her experiment, she started to seep down into her own Black Swamp now, without an extra word, laughing and croaking all the way down. The lights would flicker and dim for a moment, and as she completely submerged, the swamp instantly vanished, reverting the basement floor to normal, as well as the lights, walls and even the elevator. It was like they had been visited by a powerful anomaly... And lived.

Croak 39: In The Thick Of It All...

After much searching and imprinting the young ninja found himself stepping ever deeper into the muck that had made up the general ecosystem of the swamp. The tree's were twisted and the air was even thicker. the plant life and even the animals that inhabited the lands seemed to widen in variety as he got deeper into the swamp..

"This woman..she must be close.."

he said as he climbed over a few broken tree covered in the ick. Still breathing in only moderate amount of the toxic cocktail of poisons as his body now wads half way done building the needed immunity, soon it would begin to break down and store the individual substance for later use.

The boy had not been alone since the moment the muck turned black. This swamp; that which was one with the Frog Sage, could see those who entered, and would tell her of her prey's unwariness as they traveled deeper. With Allen drawing nearer and nearer, the sound of croaking frogs rose up in chorus, accompanied by a rather odd sound... that of a croaking woman.

Gekogekogekogeko... Geeekogekogekogeko...

This woman's frog-like laughter echoed from every corner of the swamp ever so faintly, coming from every angle at different periods of time softly, as to cause Allen to jump at hearing the whisper of the laughs.

Gekogekogeko... Gekogeko... Geko...

He was getting no closer, yet not any farther away, either. The noise would stay constant where it was. Suddenly, the voice of a familiar would start to speak up through the symphony of subtle noise. The voice of none other than Khrona.

"Come this way, Allen. This is where you'll find what you seek."

Could Khrona really be here?

Upon his traveling through the some what warm black muck he would begin to hear an ever intensifying Orchestra of Frog sounds. Out of the sounds he heard one that vaguely resembled the voice of a woman. Feeling that he was closer to his goal he contused on his path only to discover that he was seeing the same things over again...

"Bah...Where is this woman..."

He said stopping for a moment to gather his thoughts..replaying the mental notes about the woman that he was searching for..She was a frog sage so the sound of frogs clarified that she was in this are..then he heard khrona's voice..but why?..Didn't he leave?

"Khrona?...This could be a trap but...i have no other option right now..."

He said deciding to follow the voice of who he thought to be his kage..

Following the drifting and dreamy voice of his kage, Khrona, he would be led to the very center of this enormous swamp, where the shadowy figure stood at the very middle of the swamp water, which was circled by solid land.

"Allen, this is the Black Swamp. This is where the Frog Sage lives, so you must be careful. Those who enter this swamp without her permission become lost forever, unable to escape..."

These words were ominous, and Khrona's echoing voice would sound hypnotic to Allen, almost as if luring him closer.

"Don't worry. If anything happens, I will protect you..."

Listening to the soothing and somewhat melodic voice of his kage Allen would follow it stopping though once he saw the shadowy figure standing within the center of the swamp.

"You'll protect me?"

He said almost completely falling into the trance until the bag of souls began to swirl around a bit restlessly..this for but a moment distracted him from the voice and turned his attention to the bag.

"Hmm?...Oh that's right..i'm supposed to take these to the frog lady..right..so where is she?..."

He said looking around then laying his gaze upon the shady figure. Perhaps it knew of the woman's location..or perhaps it was her in disguise.

"Hear me Sage of this swamp..i have come by order of the Dusk village Kage Khrona to receive training from You..i have come baring a gift in exchange for you complete cooperation in this regard."

He figured since she was a sage of this swamp that she was pretty aware of whatever came through here so she no doubt would hear his request and hopefully reply favorably.

The figure of Khrona, upon hearing the words of tribute, would flicker violently toward Allen, outstretching welcoming hands toward him, as if inviting him into the grasp. Suddenly, the voice of Khrona changed, as did a large, slender, frog-like smile appear upon his face as well.

"Gekogekogeko... Wonderful..."

The shadowy figure took the bag of souls from Allen's hands, the shadows then morphing to what their true form was to be; Kaerei, the Sage of the Black Swamp. In her signature squatting position, held up on the balls of her feet on the rippling swamp waters, her eyes could not be seen, only the large and menacing frog eyes on her hat. She peered inside of the bag, finding roughly 1000 souls within. More than enough for tribute.

"Gekogekori... You have come well prepared... Now your eternal soul is safe... You say that the Kage of the Dusk sent you here for training...? Geko... He must have known to come prepared..."

She licked her lips with her long, acid coated tongue, slipping it down into the bag. The tip of her tongue changed to that of a syringe needle, sucking in each and every one of the souls like a needle taking blood from a patient, until they were all consumed right then and there. The bag would then fade away, as if it never existed, and Kaerei continued to squat where she was, her overly long sleeves dangling off of her completely covered hands cutely.

"... Geko. So what of my services do you need, child of the living...?"

After speaking he saw the shadowy figure outstretching it's arms his first mind was to evade and deliver a counter attack but it merely took the bag of souls he was carrying. After that he heard the Froggy woman voice once more as the shadows reformed into who he could discern was the Sage of the black swamp. She devoured the souls one by own with her tongue. Not really shaken by the disgusting sight he would state his business.

"Indeed..It was khrona who guided me here so that i might receive training from you in the arts of Assassination and Poison hence the large tribute you have been given..I need to know as much as you are capable of teaching and from what i have heard..being that you were once the greatest assassin/Poison user of them all ...there should be a hefty amount of wisdom."

He said tugging down the collar he hand was holding revealing his mouth as his soft voice echoed gently through the swamp.

Her head jerked up slightly, a single slanted eye gleaming brightly from the shadow of her very large hat. Her sinister frog smile, still very apparent, omitted another resonating laugh.

"Gekogekogeko... But of course, you poor, unfortunate soul... This is just barely enough for me to teach you my secrets... But as a safety precaution, you must be signed under law-binding contract..."

Kaerei slipped her sleeve covered hand into the blackness of the swamp with ease, quickly pulling out a scroll surging with a foreboding aura. On it were words written in an ancient font, the cursive being barely legible for those whose eyes were not adjusted to reading fancy documents.

"It says... That if you are to release any of my secrets to any given person at any time... Then you will suffer terrible consequences... My techniques are Hiden techniques that none may learn without my permission... Those who learn them violate my law, and by binding contract, the one who gives and the one who receives shall both be punished severely..."

She pointed then to the marked line, tapping it.

"Now if you want to learn... Go ahead, sign the scroll... Geko. It must be in blood..."

Listening to each and every word Allen made a mental note.

Note to self...Watch out for this one -_-

He looked to the woman his nonchalant gaze resting solely upon her..then to the place she was tapping on the Binding Document. He wasn't one to go spilling the beans to any and everyone he met so this contract would be simple to obey.

"I see...well its here in black and white...and mud..ok i agree...What a minute... What about the Fine Print..Every contract has one >>"

He said biting the tip of his finer allowing the poisonous ink that was his blood to form and shape into a small stick that he could write with. He wasn't signing anything until she came clear about any and all the things that this contract entailed if there was some fine printing he wanted to know if not then he'd sign it.

Kaerei tapped on the paper again, the scroll unfurling as much as it could go. There was no extra writing and no extra words. What was there was what was there, and Kaerei was not one for cheap tricks.

"Make sure you read it carefully before you sign..."

She continued to tap the paper right where he should sign.

"The only thing I may warn you about... Is that when you sign your name, it is stuck there forever."

That was the only thing not written on the paper; was that his name could not be taken off the contract. It would be there permanently unless Kaerei was to agree to take it off.

"So do we have a deal...?"

Even though he didn't fully trust the woman he had nothing but her words and the fact that khrona had suggested her to go on.

"Deal.."

He said writing his name in his poisonous blood now bound by the terms of the contract for life.

"So now what happens?"

He said recalling his blood back into his body as the wound sealed back up.

Licking her lips whilst watching him sign his name, the deal had been set the moment his ink blood pen left the paper. The scroll rolled itself back up and back into Kaerei's hands before it poofed into a thin green smoke, back to the unknown.

"And now that you're under binding contract..."

She pointed at him with her sleeve, which suddenly straightened and stiffened to its blade-like density that Kaerei was known for.

"... I must spill your blood..."

She rose from her squatting position and walked a little closer toward him, laughing at him all the way.

"Give me your wrist... I'll make it quick..."

Spill his blood..the hell did she need to do that for? He had already signed the contract...He knew it was a catch..or maybe it wasn't... but irregardless he would have to comply...maybe it was part of some dark binding ritual that he had to undergo...maybe she was just some sick twisted old hag with nothing better to do..maybe he should just get on with the post and find out >:3

"Ok...but not to deep..i need this arm lady..."

He said his soft tone echoing a bit, he thought of a few of his poems as he extended is arm to her so he could focus on something other that the pain that was to come.

Grabbing his hand with her other sleeved arm, she made a quick and decisive slash upon his wrist, not too deep, but deep enough to spill a substantial amount of blood onto the ground.

"... Now... Seal up your wound... Let the poison that is your blood act like blood and bind your flesh back together... Control your blood to do so..."

Her methods were unorthodox, but she was teaching him now to use his powers better. It all started with him learning to control his blood simply by thought and using the most minimal amount of chakra possible. If he could bind his wound, it would be the equivalent of him healing himself without the use of medical ninjutsu, and without that much of a chakra drain. But she had to see his proficiency in it, first...

AS HIS FLESH WAS CUT THE SENSATION OF IT SLICING WAS A BIT MORE ENJOYABLE THAN HE FIRST FIGURED..IT WAS A BIT WEIRD BUT HIS BLOOD SPILLED RATHER QUICKLY TO THE GROUND.

Sssss..Ouch..

He said as the cut was finished..though he had to focus on what she had told him to do. To use his the blood within him to seal his wound...he had actually done this before but only on a minor level with the bite marks he made to get his blood ink out..so it would take a bit more focus to do..

"Alright...."

He focused intently on the wound itself envisioning it healed up to its state before the cut was made. Upon him doing so he could feel a tingle in his blood..as if it was reacting to his will..but rather slowly.

"Tch..."

He focused a bit more on it as his blood withing his shoulders began to rush down to the open wound slowly but a little bit faster clotting the wound. Keeping up the momentum of focusing it would begin to pull the skin together forming a thin mold of harden blood that would seal the wound while piecing together the open flesh thus sealing up his wound.

"Ahhh..there we go..How was that?"

He said flexing his wrist a bit..there was still some minute pain but nothing severe.

The entire time he went through this, Kaerei was not watching him, but his chakra and his overall control over it. It was average at best, so she'd have much work to do with him.

"Geko... Again."

She snatched his other wrist, slashing it in the same fashion. Practice makes perfect, and the more he practiced, the more chakra control he'd have, and the less chakra he'd use for his Kekkei Genkai. That always came in handy if he ever needed to use his abilities on a more subtle level.

As the blood from his other wrist was split he would feel the slicing pain again. Following his actions from before it would be simpler to do for he now knew what level of focus he needed to have in order to pull it off.

"Hmp..."

The young poetic shinobi would once more focus in on the image of the cut being sealed and so his blood responded this time at a slightly quicker pace. Deciding to focus a bit more the entire healing process would've sped up enough for the repeated healing process to happen...But what of the blood that was spilled?...was it possible to use external blood to heal his wounds as well?

"Hey Lady..what about My blood that got spilled?...can i use that to heal my wounds to or do other things with?"

He wanted to know this as the remainder of his wounds healed up.

He seemed more focused on his healing technique now, and his chakra control was steadily getting more precise... Her training was working.

"Ah... That was the next thing on my list to teach you, boy... Gekogekogeko... How to control your poisonous blood outside of your body... But before you can, it requires a lot of chakra control..."

This time, without warning, she slashed across his chest diagonally in a blurred motion.

"Hence why I'm trying to train you... To make it better..."

This time, there was a rather large gash going across his chest, something that seemed rather fatal. It would be fathoms harder to seal up than his wrists, especially before he died of blood loss, but that was the perk to Kaerei's training; High risk, high reward.

Splash

Was the sound His blood made as it spattered on the groun in front of him..she was so fast so precise that his eyes hadnt even noticed the moving of her hand at all. He barely noticed the feel of the cut if not for his eyes seeing his blood beneath him.

"Gwaaaaah!"

He said as the wound tore pen it was bad..like seriously bad and if he didnt do something he'd die of blood loss.

"C...C'mon..focus...allen.."

Despite the pain he was in he had to focus and focus he would. Intently honning in on the wound itself while simultaneously willing his blood that was left within him he caused hi blood in his legs to thin out a bit so that it could travel to his chest fast. Blood gathering and forming around the large chest wound would slither around it slowly solidifying..with the amount that was needed he wasn't sure he could pull it off...

"There's...no way..I'm gonna..die..here..."

He said remembering all his obstacles as a shinobi and simply refused to let it all be in vain. The Blood within him reacted to his increase in focus and will power and came together clotting the wound inch by inch until the bleeding stop eventually healing the wound...

"Dammit..You almost killed me >>"

He said a bit frustrated with the near death experience. His soft spoken voice a bit shaken as he regained a bit of his stamina.

Because he was already in the motion of controlling his chakra as such, the movement of his blood was much easier to him. It was like circulating the blood through the body normally, however pumping it more thoroughly and more precisely via the control of the chakra. This allowed him not to die and to seal up his wound by thinning the blood in his legs.

"Ohh... You're getting better... Gekogeko..."

She finally crouched back on the ground in her signature position; elbows on her thighs and curled onto the balls of her feet.

"Since you probably won't be walking for a little while due to the lack of blood flowing... Why not try to control that blood outside of your body...? Since you're on the ground, that is..."

He knew how to do it inside of his body, but the tricky part came from doing it outside of his body.

"... Be wary of how your chakra control is... It is the key to this technique... Controlling it outside of your body..."

He would have to first let his chakra extend from his body and toward the blood before he would have control. He had to manipulate it as if it were an extension of himself, but apart from himself.

"Out...outside my body?"

Thinking to himself his mind for one reason or another began to run various means and methods as to how he could do so...but now he needed to focus on using the blood before it dried out....

Ok ...lets give this a shot.."

He said focusing on the flow of his Chakra regulating it as best he could. Once doing so he began to expend it from his body but at first rip it was sloppy and not precise.

"wait...I got this.."

He said zeroing in on the sloppy mess of his extending Chakra slowly straightening it out.

"Ok...that's a bit better"

Now that he was at least good to to on straightening out his Chakra he had to make it extend far enough for it to reach his spilt blood which had begun to partially resonate with his charkra as it neared it. Now he focused on the now extending Chakra whilst focusing on the blood. Doing so gave the Chakra direction and purpose as he steadily expended it outward as thinly as possible so as to not use more than was nessary. Eventually the Chakra would reach the blood but I only resonates enough for him to maneuver it slightly....he needed more focus...

"Pay attention fool...get it together..."

He then expense a bit more Chakra steadily while focusing in on the pool of blood around and before him. The resonance between the two grew more and so it allowed him better control of it...he noticed while in control of I his movements were it's movements...

"It..it must be reacting to my will..as was the blood within had done...so..I just have to...$

He would will the wound that was on his wrist to reopen and upon doing so instructed his blood to renter the wound and seal up once it was done. Hopefully he had done this right.

"Gekogekori.... You're learning well... Eventually, you will be able to manipulate your blood outside of your body with simply just a thought... But until then, you must keep practicing..."

She slashed at both of his thighs simultaneously, quickly and without warning, letting more blood spill out.

"How will you deal with two wounds...? Your entire body is your weapon if your blood is your weapon... You must be able to use being hurt to your advantage... And what good will it do you if you can't even close multiple wounds at once...? Tend to them both geko..."

She was having fun in a sick and twisted fashion by harming him, which also doubled as training for him. If he could get his blood to be regulated to the point where he could send it to points of his body on the dime, and even focus on two points of his body that have been injured at once, then people would think twice about trying to attack him.

Thanks to her constant slicing of his body Allen was steadily getting use to the feel of it so the slicing of his thighs weren't as painful as the chest or wrist wounds. But with that aside he know had to focus on the healing of two wounds instead of one. It would be a bit of a challenge for him but fortunately he was becoming ever more use to controlling his chakra thus controlling the overall feel of his blood and it's circulation had become easier as well...now to put the theory to the test.

"Tch... Your enjoying this aren't you?"

Said Allen as he cringed slightly from the pain but nothing significant. He would zero in first on his overall chakra pool regulating it rather swiftly upon doing so and getting in-tune with it a bit he would now focus his attention on the dual wounds. Splitting his focus just enough to where it was evenly distributed, the blood resonating with his will and focus would react and evenly diverge to the individual wounds. the blood clotting as it should effectively healing the wounds right up.

"Gekogekogekogeko... Perhaps..."

He was becoming swifter now with this... Even becoming so in control that he was able to manipulate two wounds at once. But now for the final test...

"Geko... You're doing well... But the last test... and probably the most challenging..."

Kaerei lunged at him, slicing clean through his jugular, leaving his throat spewing a great deal of blood into the air. He had only seconds to keep himself from dying, and then after that, he had to keep himself conscious, and he had to control his chakra all at the same time. Perhaps it was a little much, and his death was probably certain... but it wasn't like Kaerei cared all that much. Just another soul to add to her collection. If he couldn't do it, that is.

"So what ne---"

Before the soft spoken shinobi could even speak his throat had been sliced into..and it was deep. he couldn't speak as a great deal of blood spurted out of his neck. falling to his knees he didn't have time to think..and so his body would react.. having become accustomed to the healing process now his blood reacted to the little bit of focus he could maintain and his overwhelming desire to live thus his blood and will worked as whole simultaneously rushing to the wound even the blood that was spilled reacted to the force of this union and thus it reentered the wound clotting and sealing it up as it did so. Now that the wound was healed he now had to re-regulate his blood flow as well as repair any damaged tissue. His body and blood reacting to his will and level of mental focus would do just as he needed and so..everything returned to the way it was..before the hag tried to kill him..

"The...Hell?!..."

He said as he gasped for a bit of air but overall he had managed to live..

Now that he had done this, he was ready. Death couldn't stop him as easily as it could before, and he had much more control over his body than before. Now he just needed to practice.

"Geko... You must practice your abilities now... Go forth and use what I've taught you today... I will be watching you... Aaaalways watching..."

With the whistle of the eerie wind that passed, Kaerei was gone. It was up to him to practice his abilities, through training and through battles. This was going to be a long and arduous process...

Wait there's Other stuff i wanna!...Bah she's gone >>"

The soft irritated voice of Allen echoed as Kaerei left him in this Swamp. Feeling though now he was A bit stronger than before his confidence was boosted a bit and he would do as the frog wench wanted him to do..He would train and develop his new found prowess and so he left the swamp to do so. Though during his time his Body had absorbed and built up an immunity to some various poisons that were in the air..and now they were at his disposal.

Time Skip

After Quite some time since being told to go out and hone his abilities Allen would appear in the murkiness of the black swam once again. He had come here to further his training with the Frog hag of the swamp. He had gotten a pretty good grip on his blood manipulation abilities and even had developed a few poisons of his own...Now it was time to continue on and thus he kept on through the muck...

Sitting under a large, inconspicuous leaf in the area by the swamp was Kaerei, the Frog Sage. She seemed to be concocting a new type of potion yet again, and had just finished upon Allen's arrival.

"Geko... So you return. And bettered, I presume...?"

Seeing the Frog Hag appear again this time under a leaf Allen glanced at the concoction she was brewing and then returned his gaze upon his.

"Indeed i have..if i do say so my self"

His Light and Soft voiced carried in the murky winds as they passed. He had come a little way since there initial meeting thanks to her lessons of control..and her trying to kill him.

Swirling the concoction in her hand, a vial would form around it, and eventually hover off into the unknown. She turned around to Allen, hopping over to him lightly and gently.

"Geko geko... That's good... That means you are able to learn even more... Come..."

She changed into a wisp, a ghastly being that sped off in a trail of glowing, eerie light to a specific point in her swamp, where Allen would be able to follow her trail of light she left behind. She'd wait for him to follow, and when he did, as she knew he would, she would begin to speak.

"... As an assassin... You must be trained to be silent... Stealthy... Evasive... You must learn to hide your presence or merge your presence with something else to make yourself unknown to the eyes and senses of others... That is a true assassin's best asset..."

Following the Wispy Hag Allen would be now in what seemed to be a different more foreign part of the Swamp. Once he arrived she began to speak of the stealthy ways of the assassin and how they were able to mask and even merge their presences. He had already begun to learn how to mask his own presence...but to merge it with that of another..that was interesting.

"Merge my Presence with something else?...is such a thing even possible?"

He said folding his arms and bringing them up to his chest.

"Gekogekogekogekogeko!"

He asked her such a question that he found so amazing... he did not see the true power of an assassin yet, nor did he see the true power of his surroundings. Such was why Kaerei was a Sage, and a Sage made the best assassin.

"Geko... Naive boy, do you not understand how in tune you are with all things...? Your poison... Smear it on this tree."

She pointed to an arbitrary tree nearby his position, wherein which he would have to definitely smear his own blood upon it. This was the first step of his training, and he would be surprised to know that he could do this all along.

He didn't fully Comprehend the Sense behind this but nonetheless he was here for that reason... to learn and understand things he didn't at first...and so using his sharp nail he Pricked his Finger causing his blood to ooze out. He then wiped it on the tree beside him.

"OK...now what?"

He said leaving the wound open in the case he needed to use any more blood.

Kaerei appeared next to him in an eerie wisp, staring up at the blood. It was sinking into the tree already and embedding its toxins into the bark, which was what poison is supposed to do.

"... Look at what the poison does... The way poison works is far beyond what your feeble comprehension understands... As of right now, simply your blood's presence on this tree is a poison... Your presence. The tree will absorb the poison, as the poison tries to assimilate itself with the tree so that it can destroy it... But the purpose is not to destroy the tree, but to assimilate with it... And thereby leave your presence in the tree whilst not being next to the tree... And your presence becomes a poison..."

Such an explanation of how he could use this to his advantage, only because the poison was his blood, would make him a tier above the rest. It was a potent ability that not many can truly understand, and thus cannot learn or utilize correctly. Kaerei was here to teach Allen both.

"Do you understand...?"

He could feel it...His blood Mingling in with the Very Essences of the tree...along with her through explanation the sheer feeling of his Presence now hidden and merged within the tree was enough to teach him about the workings of the technique.

"So i will be able to thoroughly trick and confused others by rightly utilizing this merging process...that will come in handy for sure.."

He said as he practiced it on a few other trees just to get accustomed to the feel of it. It was a very handy tactic but what about living breathing beings..or more animate object..

"But what about people?...could it be used on them as well?...You know to trick them into thinking their partner is the Culprit...thus cause a division amongst them?

Geko... He was thinking like an assassin now. It pleased Kaerei to know she was molding such a specimen...

"Yess... of course... But to master that ability, you must also master the art of hiding your presence of your body... And the way to do that is to catch a frog..."

Kaerei croaked a bit, and a frog would hop from a lilypad of the swamp and right before Allen.

"This frog represents the evasive nature of your opponent... When they sense you, they evade, and the frog does the same... When he senses a threat, he dodges, he evades, he is alert... You must figure out how to mask your presence... I will be watching..."

She croaked a laugh, fading away into the mist of the swamp.

"...Do not fail me..."

As the Frog appeared before him he sighed mentally within himself...this was going to be so annoying chasing down the Frog hags Children...but alas he would be learning how to master his abilities and thus...it would prove beneficial to him. He though Fortunately had prepared inadvertently for this when he had assimilated his Presence into not only that tree but a few others.... to ASSIMILATE MEAN TO ABSORB OR TO TAKE IN....MASKING MEANS TO Hide OR ALTER ONES Appearance IN ORDER TO HIDE ONES PRESENCE...IF HE COULD incorporate the two...than perhaps he could pull this off.

"...."

The prey, This frog was staring right at him r what was formerly him..the natural fog of the area would begin to thicken until he could be seen no more...being that he had mentally done this there would be no inclination to the frog that Allen had done so while the fog hid him physically he having assimilated the presence of the tree would alter his presence slowly to the feel of a tree while having done this to several tree's he would created clones out of the mist each with the likeness of the tree.

"..."

This was merely a deterrent to make the frog feel as if it was surrounded by trees as it was accustomed hopefully lowering it guard. Allen though would've merged with the fog that had surrounded them and appear behind the frog his breathe ever so still, whilst he still carried the Presence of a tree leaving the tree he had first assimilated to keep his presence thus making it seem as if he had never left that area thus when he appeared behind the frog...it would feel only the likens of the tree allowing Allen to go in for the catch with as mush slyness as he could muster hopefully catching the creature.

The eyes of a frog... These eyes saw more than what Allen was led to believe. This was the frog's home... His terrain. He lived here, dwelled here... Knew this place up and down, front and back. Through the fog, the frog could see where Allen went and his clones that appeared as well. Unknown to him, because the frog did not let him know that it could see him, the frog simply sat there and waited for the Allen clones to get closer.

Of course, masking his presence to that of a tree was a good tactic, but not a very wise one. Trees, of course, did not move. This frog was well aware of that fact.

When Allen attempted to snatch it from behind, to no avail would he catch this frog, in physicality nor by surprise, for this frog saw through what Allen was doing. This was why he needed to practice. This was what Kaerei wanted him to see about his powers.

The frog leapt away to a bank of the swamp, casually embracing the natural essence of the humid, murky air and the presence of the swamp itself. Time for attempt number two, Allen.

Allen though a bit Dissappointed that he had Not Succeded in his first try would merely learn from the mistake he made...

"Note to self...Don't Move awhile keeping the Presence of something that Doesn't move >>"

He said as the frog Hooped off. Now it was time for Allen to get to thinking... he began to think about the naturalness of the frog...the way it behaves and precieves things...as well as the things it consumes in its diet..then it hit him...the things it Ate What if he could shift the likeness of other things infused within his blood?...then perhaps it would make it easier for him to confuse his targets and suffer less.

"Well..let me see"

He said as his Infinite notebook spewed forth a few pages from its book all infused with his power...his blood. He then while shaping them would notice a swam of flies Passing by him. He would Hold open the wound on his Finger and cause a small bubble of blood to hover by him. The flies smelling the meal would come and devour it thus he assimilated his presence into the creatures and gained their Likeness. If he did this correct he would be able to infuse the Paper Flies with the Likeness of Real flies by altering their presence using the merging process thus when they discovered the frog if he would think the were just normal everyday flies and probably stop to eat a few...only time would tell. And so he sent the flies forth lining his Presence though to the feel feel of the natural flowing air current around the swamp as to not alert the frog as he traveled in mist form. Hopefully the frog would fall for his ploy.

The frog, basking by the swamp, indeed hungered for a meal. Instinctively, of course, when a meal passes a frog by, they wish to eat. When the swarm of flies passed by, almost immediately catching sight and mind of them, a lash like lightning struck one of the paper flies and retracted it all too quickly for it to even be able to comprehend. Such was the function of that tongue of the frog; to lash out faster than the fly can comprehend.

Now it was up to Allen to decide what happened to the little frog that had ingested his paper fly... What would this accomplish?

As he creature ingested the paper fly it would suddenly feel groggy and sleepy... This was because the paper fly had been infused with alien's poisonous blood but instead of the normal killing toxin he had placed his Sleeping Poison within the flies and so when it ingested it the poison began to spread and thus it activated or triggered the brain natural hibernation ability and amplified it causing the creature fall into a deep sleep. Allen having been traveling in mist form would appear next to the hopefully knocked out creature picking it up and waiting for the frog hag to appear.

The frog, which was once alert, would soon fall into a deep slumber... This happened quickly due to the hibernation poison that Allen had released within, and so when he got to grab it, the Frog would be unable to evade.

Moments later, Kaerei would appear before him.

"Geko geko gekori! Excellent... As you can see, even the most evasive of foes can be lured into a devastating trap if you set it up correctly... Not everything must be taken down by pure force alone... geko gekori."

Kaerei started to move her hands around, and from behind her, a snake would slither about.

"Your next test in your training... A step up from the frog... The elusive snake."

The snake slithered up her body, hissing lowly and not drawing much attention to itself as Kaerei spoke.

"As the frog was to evasive foes... geko... The Snake is to quick and alert foes, those that are elusive... hard to track themselves... This is the next level of training for your usefulness of these abilities..."

She released the snake into the grass, letting it slither about and become silent.

"... You know your target... Capture it..."

She said, as she disappeared.

Now he really had to think...putting his mind tohether he began to Porcess the sittauion and evelutae it...he had captured the frog by understanding it's being...he knew about the natural gulltiony of the Frog and used it agaisnt it..but what of the snake?...after scomnisuimg a meal they could go wekas without food..so how would he find the creature....simple...It would find him...

"Lets see here..Snakes...Their cold blooded right?"

He said to himself as the creature slithered away in the grass...If snakes are coldblooded then they are naturally drawn to warm places so has to heat there bodies...what if he could tempt the snake into giving up its position...by not giving it much of a choice.Using his sharp nail he opened up to small sound on the palms of his hands. From these wounds oozed forth what was normally a very hot steam...but instead Allen would cuase the temperatures in the steam to drop rapidly while increasing the thickness of the vapors in the murky air creating a thick cloud like mist. Upon doing so he would infuse the mist manifestation in with the still cooling steam lowering the temperatures greatly in the single Digits. He then would begin to thin out this mist and cause it to Spread through the area in effect cooling off the humid area and making it cold.

"...."

If his theory was accurate the Creature would go looking for a warmer place to reside for fear it would freeze to death...a warm place that allen would provide by Drawing a Small Den like construct on the Ground Using his blood ink. Using his Charka he would cuasi it to come to life By inflating it with his chakra. The center of this MAKE SHIFT DEN would have a orb of Concentrated steam serving as the only Heat source in the area for the little bugger. Allen would have merely sat next to a distant tree masking his presence to that of a tree who was just as cold as the area so his heat wouldn't give him away.

The slithering snake moved silently through the grasslands, and easily across the terrain. What Allen would find was that several creatures in this land were cold-blooded. Amphibians and reptiles for miles would awaken from the disturbance of their natural habitat, enraged and confused as to what was going on. Sensing a powerful heat source nearby, and the only one for that matter, the nearest amphibian or reptile would make its way into the hole, and... It was not the snake.

The soil of this land was extremely warm and gunky, making it easy for the snake to slip into the ground for warmth that was retained from the normally constant humidity and heat that this swamp gave off. It was warm enough for the snake to be at a temperate condition below, since the other spot was filled with other creatures of his likeness. And... Not just one snake did this, but several. They would all be hiding under the ground, getting warm from the natural heat of the earth. And now, Allen had to find his way through all of these snakes to find the one that Kaerei released. He still had so much to learn...

Having now created an even bigger mess than before he sign as he caused the the whole that had captured whatever was inside to close and snap shut trapping he creature placing it into a deep slumber as the steam carried the sleeping poison. Once it faded so did the heat source and so he left the area to begin his search again. He created a small flurry of ant like creatures made from is paper and had them scout the area sending his chakra through the area acting as a sonar of sorts. It would seem that they snake had retreated into the murky ground beneath them. But there were more than one of them now and he'd have to nick pick through them all...such a drag...

"...."

Now he had to find a way to not only get them out but differentiate them from the one who he was supposed to get...he thought again about the natural being of snakes...they were very sensitive to light...but underneath the ground that meant nothing...what about there sense of smell?...he could alter the chemicals of his poison to act as a pheromone that would draw them to the surface...thing was...how would he get it to them..the mud was thick and gooey..but what if he could alter it..like its density...his chakra though simple could probably accomplish such a feet.

"Ok...lets give this a try..."

He would stand perfectly still...channeling his chakra in to the mud. With his understanding of the natural properties of mud and how chakra could do all sorts of things...he wasn't a master of earth but with his ever growing chakra control he could at least lighten the natural properties making it thinner so the ants could invade it after he infused them with wind chakra allowing them to drill trough the mud and reach the snakes releases the sweet inciting smell hopefully leading them to the surface where he would've recalled his clones to his side each with paper cages ready to capture them as the came but only one clone would be steadily increasing the smell to the point that when they came up Hopefully their keen sense of smell would be over loaded and cause them to become a bit disorient allowing a swift capture..

"Come out come out wherever you are"

A wise plan indeed, for the pheromones in the air lured the snakes out like a snake-charmer... They slowly slithered out with the sense of content about them, but then... With a flick of their tongues, they were aware of everything that was going on, regardless of the pheromones. Yes, they were disoriented for a moment, but they were in danger, they sensed, from the Allen clones being in plain sight. So they scowered, the all of them, slithering about violently in every which way, toward every direction there was, the key snake being mixed in all of the hassle.

As they began to Slitter away allen would notice no though that he had been found out and thus...he had to deal with this promptly...he chasing them through this muck was a no go..but what he could do was trap them... Instead of using his chakra to lighten it..he could use it to thicken and make it gooier thus constricting them to the point where they couldn't slide across the ground but their scales would be caught in the goo. and so he did...using his chakra transformed it into a thick gooey substance while thickening the mist which he released his Sleeping poison into the air making them hopefully more susceptible to it thus allowing him not only to slow or stop their movements but allow him and his clones to find the right one.

With the natural makeup of snakes' scales, they are able to slide through even such muck as this with ease, as they are made for terrain such as this. This would not prove to slow down the snakes, but instead give them something that they could more readily use to burrow in the ground, if they were not flustered.

The sleeping cloud, however, would work to perfection, as now that the area was only filled with snakes, every single one of them would fall asleep. Now the only problem was to find the CORRECT snake.

Seeing as how they were put to sleep Allen and his clones would begin searching them...with how deep of a sleep they were in because of the potency of the poison they should be out long enough for him and them to check them.

Soundly asleep in the mud, none of the snakes moved at all, not even to shift positions in their dreams. It was time for him to look for which one was the true key serpent.

The snakes still asleep Allen kept searching

With no avail, the snake was not found, for when it was, Allen would definitely know. Continuing to search was his only option, through the hundreds of snakes that still lay dormant around the ground.

He continued searching hoping to find the serpent with a quickness.

After the searching the pile of snakes thoroughly, Allen would find the correct snake and the others would disappear, only to leave Kaerei in the dead center of their original place.

"Geko... Your mission was accomplished, but not as efficiently as I would have preferred... Gekori..."

He was still learning, she had to give him that break. But he was going to need to hone this skill. Such was the point of this training.

"And now... for your final testtt..."

She opened up her enclosed palm, and a small lizard stood there, wriggling out of her hands and onto the ground.

"... Catch the lizard... The most elusive of the three... It represents the adaptation of the surroundings that thwarts every unseasoned assassin... Remember your training from the elusive frog and the silent snake..."

And with that, she was gone once more, with only the Lizard in his presence.

Allen Could only sit there perfectly still. Running a series of events and options through his mind analyizing each one as they came...The way he had caught the others was by playing on thier nature...the things that they were accustomed to....by what exactly was a lizard accustomed to...it was a sloth like creature that spent most of its time eating and hiding...Perhaps if he could merge the tactics he had used against the two creature prior to this one..then perhaps he could succeed.

"...."

The mist that carried the sleeping Poison was still about circulation into the air... allen decided to combine the tactics by keeping the creature busy with food while slowly causing it to engulf the air with each time it speed it mouth.... The ant like paper creatures he had already created slowly made there way to him forming a colony that would seem to be ignoring the lizard in a attempt to make it think it was doing its job as a predator..if it indeed fell for the ploy that allen would mentally cause the poison mist to thicken and engulf the creature very subtly placing it into a slumber...the clone all stayed perfectly still...taking the likeness of a tree into themselves so as to not disturb the creature...

The lizard immediately scoured off, seeing Allen with its own keen eyes. It slipped down into the swamp water, disappearing completely. There was no noise after that, and no trace of the lizard at all. It was up to Allen to find him.

"Damn>>...Ok...time to go hunting..."

He said as the creature scurried of into the Murky black waters of the swamp...Allen would think how would he be able to find such an elusive Prey. He walke to the Edge of The waters...what he would have to do is use his blood to his advantage...he would force the creature to the surface first.... Cutting his Wrist he allowed his blood to flow into the waters...mixed in with his ink the blood spewed into the waters quickly adapting and mixing in with it. Allen commanded his clones to hover above the water and place-and prepare for the capture... His blood was comprised of very potent toxins and the particular one he was infusing within the water was his Hysteria poison...Hysteria was a poison that makes the victim think their under a genjustu as it creates false apparitions and illusions reacting to the memory parts of the brain causing them to go into overdrive.

"......."

This time if the creature was affected by the hysteria poison it would be presented with the false hod that the water would kill it and that if it didn't get to the top soon it would die. Upon rising to the surface it would be met with a cloud of Sleeping mist stretched across the face of the water's surface where it would then be placed under the sleeping effects..

The elusive lizard, beyond what Allen would know, had burrowed into the dirt of the bank of the swamp water, like the snake had done prior to. The waters weren't safe anymore, and it could sense the change immediately once it happened.

Sprouting up from the ground in an unknown area, the Lizard would quickly change colors and hide under the smallest leaf, where Allen would have to literally scour the Black Swamp to find this creature's hiding spot.

Allen through his natural connection to his blood could sense the creature emerging from the waters. Though he could not feel it the creature should've still contained some form of moisture on it if so Allen would be able to find it through the Blood on it's scales despite it hiding. He said nothing changing his presence to that over a soaring bird as he used his Chakra to walk across the water not making a Sound as he honed in on the lizards location...

Finding the lizard would be pointless to Allen, as the moment he did find this elusive creature under this leaf, he'd find that it was not the lizard itself, but simply its skin. It had shed very quickly and was already on the move elsewhere. Where could this creature be...?

Having been bamboozled by the lizard Allen would think of a new tactic....Perhaps he could use the mist itself to search for the creature. Thickening the his mist and infusing it within the natural fog that surrounding the swamp trying to use the Chakra within the mist to search for the creature aside from this he would create a swarm of paper flies that would scout the Area hopefully drawing it out so that the mist can detect it.

The lizard stayed completely motionless; still under this leaf. It would not move no matter what, and was camouflaged as to never be detected. It was all up to Allen's scouting skills now.

The Mist...It would not be ignored...it craved the young Lizard and would do its best to find it...by decree of it owner...

The mist was apparently not keen enough to find this crafty lizard, and must be honed even further before it was as good at sensory as Allen needed. In the meantime, another means of finding this little creature was at hand, and that seemed to be the most troublesome for him... Such was why the Lizard was the final test.

His Clever Tactics appeared to not be enough...this creature proved mos difficult in finding and it was apparent he would have to try harder. Allen wasnt a sensory ninja( Just yet So he couldnt pick out the particular signature the creature possed...He decided to up the ante of he mist once more perhaps with a little more chakra it's keenness would increase and serve it's purpose even more.

In the event the creature still did not appear allen would result to more alluring measures, And so he began readying his paper forming it into a a pack of flies in addition to the few that were out.

Once again, the lizard was not found, neither by the flies nor the mist. With something so elusive, what other methods would he try? Mist and flies were clearly not working on this creature. There HAD to be something else, right?

Apparently he needed something new...he thought of how he found the snake and the frog...he used their natural instincts against them....the lizards was an elusive being...what he would have to do was simply take away it means of hIdging and provide it with one of his own... He would allow the flies to multiply and shape into a swarm of locust. Theywoukd consume the leaves and grass in the general vicinity of the are whilst he made a paper machete leaf the size of the others beside him. Melding his bloody presence with a tree he stood there silent whilst the paper leaf exuded a sweet aroma of luring that hopfhlly would draw the creature to it making it feel as if th leaf he had created was a safe haven.

As the leaves were consumed by the paper locusts, the lizard's hiding place was discovered. Quickly, it would slither about the ground trying to find another leaf, having only come across one final leaf that wasn't consumed. The paper leaf. Being drawn to it unbeknownst to itself, it would hide under the leaf and change its color to the color of the paper leaf, and then waited.

Allen thought as the creature came into the safety of the leaf her had created. The sweet aroma was that Of his Sleeping Clementine Poison and it like it had done with the snake and the frog would place the lizard in a deep sleep while the leaf snapped and wrapped around the Sleepy creature with only but it's head showing.

"OK...Its caught..."

"Gekogekogekori! So you've learned to utilize the arts of silence, stealth and evasion... good..."

Kaerei appeared from the midst of the swamp, silently having slipped upward from the depths.

"... But are you ready to put these skills to the test... In a life or death situation...?"

True, Kaerei had taught him the basics and he did really well, but he needed to master them. She wasn't sure abut how... Good he was at killing anything or anyone yet, and that was a very important skill.

"... Shall you proceed to the more... cautionary portion of your training... geko?"

Murder...

He thought to Himself the Words filling his being...

Death?

He said thinking and reflecting on her words as she spoke to him about the more cautionary stage of the training process....

"Beauty..."

He spoke letting the words resound off his touge and being...He was ready to begin...he had come to far to look to the path behind him.

"Indeed...I am ready"

He spoke his light voice galloping in the murky winds...but stepped with a fierce determination.

"Gooood..."

Kaerei's voice seemed to drift off during the end, but she was rather pleased about his conviction to kill.

"Your target... is Dark Chaos. Erase him. Leave no evidence. And try to be as stealthy and evasive as possible..."

Hopefully he would succeed. If he did, then he would be ready to go out and be an assassin on his own, only coming back to Kaerei for more advanced training.

Croak 40: Requesting Your Audience...

It took him well over a week to find this place. He had searched the Dusk up and down, and even searching this place up and down, finding nothing but the swamp and more swamp.

"..."

He was patient, however, and continued to walk. The legend was that if you continued to walk in the swamp, eventually you would find that the water would turn black, and you would be in the dwelling of the Sage of the Black Swamp. He trekked onward and onward, noticing the color of the swamp becoming darker and darker.

"..."

He was getting close. Eventually, the swamp water would turn completely black. The moment it did, he stopped moving. He was here.

gekogekogekogekogeko...

Was this the trees? Or the bushes? Or perhaps scurrying creatures hidden within the vegetation and the murk?

gekogekogekogekogeko...

It sounded like there was a wrinkle in the breeze, a distortion in the atmosphere... This wasn't anything ordinary, and was, in fact, anything but. What was that sound?

gekogekogekogekogeko...

The resonating sound of... No, it was nothing but the frogs. The frogs, right? Nothing but the frogs.

gekogekogekogekogeko...

But it was not the frogs. It sounded much different from any sound a frog, and indeed sounded like the twisted laughter of some frog-like woman, whose resonating voice soothed and lured people in like a siren. Until...

"Geeekogekogekogeko... A visitor... My prey..."

She appeared before Kairo, sitting in her normal position, squatting on the balls of her feet. She licked her lips, finding his tormented, painful soul to look oh, so delicious. She wasn't even going to hesitate to hear this boy... She wasn't. But like the boy who came to her previously, he MIGHT have something juicy to offer her... So she waited for him to state his business before she killed him.

He was petrified with fear for a little while, something he wasn't able to shake just yet; fear. He stared at this woman, knowing that at any given moment, she could kill her, and if he didn't start talking soon, she probably would.

"..."

He only stared at her, trying to find it in himself to start talking. It was hard to muster up, but it was done nonetheless, with a deep and heavy inhale and exhale.

"... Sage of the Black Swamp. I request your audience. I am in need of an assassin and, though you are the most dangerous to work with, you are also the best. I must ask that you kill a Nightmare Ninja so I may acquire their headband."

She smiled a wide and dark smile, loving that he was asking her to kill someone rather than train. She hadn't been on an assassination request for quite a long time, in fact.

"Geko... And what do you plan to offer me in exchange...?"

Truthfully, the request was enough for Kaerei, considering the pure satisfaction of murdering another person was simply wonderful to her, but she also did need to have tribute and payment. Something for something, and such. At least this made sure that he kept his life... For the moment.

He didn't have anything truly to offer this woman except for the satisfaction of the murder and their souls. He didn't need their souls nor their bodies; just the headband.

"The souls of the slain. Their bodies, too. I don't care what happens to them, I just need their headband. I figured that would appease you?"

He hoped that it did... He didn't have much else, and he was staring death in the face. He hoped she didn't ask for his soul in return...

Only a single soul? The body would be useful, but a single soul, not that much. Though, on her end, the deal seemed rather sweet... A chance to kill, a soul and a body. Hm... She was actually getting paid more than it was worth.

"Geko..."

But she could definitely get a little bit... more...

Wait!

Geko?

It was Medusa. She had been within Kaerei's body now and because of this, they were linked as one. Though Medusa held no power anymore, she still had conscious. That was enough for her to speak to Kaerei.

Medusa: Kaerei... This boy is no ordinary boy. He is an Uchiha. He has the Sharingan, and not just any Sharingan... a special Sharingan. If we stay close to him, we can learn all of the secrets of the Uchiha... The Sharingan...

Geko... A fine payment, indeed.

"Geeekoooo... Of course I will assist... But I have one more fee for you..."

Medusa: Yes... We must join this boy... For our research... For your potions and voodoo, and for mine as a scientist.

"... We must work together... Stay close to me... geko gekori..."

That was her final proposition. That was all she needed. Once she had his binding word... She would be off.

Her request seemed so simple. In fact, it would help his plans quite a bit... Having her as an ally, a POWERFUL ally, in fact... This would allow him to do great things, and his plan, just like his Uchiha brethren mentioned, would be coming into fruition.

"Done."

And it was done. He and Kaerei were working as partners now, just as he needed. She would be the first of his group. With her, they were unstoppable. Now he just needed more people so he could become invincible.

"... And I thank you, friend."

All that was left of her body after he said 'thank you' was a smile, a smile that would return his thanks with her own. They would help each other for their own causes, but as long as they were both progressing, they would be fine. Her smile faded along with her body, and she left then the fading sound of her croaks.

"geeekogekogekogekogeko..."

And she was gone.

When she left, he stood there completely still. He wasn't sure just what happened at that point in time, until he actually really thought about it. He had just... Succeeded.

"..."

He didn't jump for joy, he didn't show any emotions at all. The utter feeling of satisfaction from succeeding was just enough to keep him going. Succeeding... Success... Ah, it sounded so sweet. It made his eye and his brain tingle...

"... Success..."

He chanted that word joyously as he walked away. Success. Success. Success. Success.

Success.

Croak 41: Team Zodiac Tryouts

gekogekogekogekogekogeko...

The sound of frogs could be heard from deep under the earth. This meant doom for Delighted if he trekked any further. His connectedness to the earth would mean nothing in terms of tracking Kairo and Alana, as a deep and powerful, otherworldly fog had rolled in toward them, completely masking their presence... This earth showed no trace of their existences, even though the both of them were right in the middle of the mist. But more importantly... Delighted fucked up by going after them.

Geeekogekogekori... Run, my prey... I like to feel like I have to work for my kills sometimes...

She was unable to be seen, but her presence was there. The teacher would not be able to pick up on her either, because of her signature ability that was evolved from the Witch technique, Soul Protect, and was a technique Kaerei called Soul Wipe. Nothing could detect her. Not even Cosmic Awareness itself.

Let the bloodbath begin... For those foolish enough to try to stop it.

"Pfft now way why would I give it to you....it's mine"

She said with a perplexed yet slightly irritated voice...was this the reason he requested her if so she didn't have time for these antics.

*well if that's everything than I'll be leaving..."

She said turning around only to fond they were in the midst of a thick fog...Alana began to get suspicious. Of this Guy....something told her he wanted more than a head band...

"..."

He didn't say a word. His eye simply flickered with a blinding red light, only for a moment. That flash of red was not only a signal, but a warning to Alana... That red would be the last color that she saw.

Merciless. That's all that could describe what the death of Alana was going to be like. Merciless.

She's already inhaled. She was already in the mist. She was already in the Swamp. She was already trapped. Kaerei, the Sage of the Black Swamp, had the both of them in her realm, and unbeknownst to Alana, she was the only one that wouldn't be leaving.

Looks like someone's come down with a case of... Explosions...

Without warning, Alana's body would begin to bubble... The mist she inhaled had spread all too quickly throughout her entire body, after only the first breath she took when she walked in. That mist bubbled up in her body all at the same time, feigning to be the innocent air but was actually a very, very potent toxin hidden within the shelter of 'good air.' Pollution, not only in the air, but in her body. Acidic pollution. And so, with her innards virtually melted and her skin bubbling up violently, she would... Explode.

There would be no trace of any piece of her body left, and only Kaerei's acidic mist, which had burnt her completely away. All that would be left was the soul and the headband, that which Kairo would be promised.

Gekogekogekogeko... Geeekogekogekogeko...

Without a moment to lose, he swiped the headband from the ground and placed it in his pocket, whipping out his Kunai one swift motion. Walking toward the exit of the mist, he slashed up his clothes, his wrists, his face, his arms, and all in the most brutal way possible.

With the utmost haste, he threw the kunai behind him, about to pass through the mist.

"Let's make it look good, Sage of the Black Swamp..."

He did not smile. He did not show any feeling. His eye only gleamed as he stepped out of the mist and immediately fell down, feeling the utmost of pain he felt from his own slashes now.

"AAAUUUUGGGHHH... Ghh... GRAAAAAH!!!!"

He screamed out as loud as he could, hoping that the teacher and Delighted could hear him...

Only after the teacher arrived would the mist start to fleet, condensing itself around the soul of Alana and the kunai left behind, taking them with it. Swirling into itself, the mist would completely fade away, as if it had never been there. There was no trace of anything that just transpired, and only Kairo would be left... But Kaerei's presence was aaaalways with him... Hiding away from everyone... Even him.

Croak 42: A Shell Of My Former Self...

After having been betrayed by his Mother and Brother Kayden found himself wandering through an unknown area all by his lonesome...well only thre company of Naga the Light snake stood with him. His brother had stolen his soul and the only way he was even moving was because of Naga's influence upon his body. He needed up in the graveyard no longer able to sense or see the multitude of spirits around him do to his Keeki Genkai being Stolen.

"Dammit it...I cant beielve they betrayed me!"

He spoke out of anger as he sat down by an eerier grave..he had been wandering for days..even weeks...He was tired...just...Tired

A gleaming blue light sparkled through the blackness of the night, through the unknown of the dark side of the graveyard. The side where the spirits this boy could not see resided. A faint, yet oddly stern voice spoke out to him from the enigmas, beckoning his attention.

"You seem lost. Troubled, in fact. So you came here to die. Right?"

Why else would I troubled spirit head to the cemetery... To wait for themselves to die.

"I Dont know...Have i?"

He said thinking to himself but projected the thought out loud. He had nothing else to live for...His mother the very person he truest more so than anyone had betrayed him...he had made it his lifes purpose to serve her and she left him for dead...he was dead spirtually already...now was only the Physical aspect of his death... Perhaps this guy saw that...perhaps he was kayden's saving grace...

"I suppose i have....Do it...End my what USED to be my Life!"

He just stood up and turned his back to the boy..he was ready wherever Kairo was.

Kairo looked at this boy and felt utter contempt, as well as pity. He felt as though his powers that were taken from him were what made him who he was, and not he himself who made him who he was. But, in a sense, Kairo learned from this.

... Is this what would have happened to me if I didn't decide to make something of myself? Would I have turned into this... Runt?

No matter how he looked at the story presented to him, he could feel something similar to what Kayden felt within himself... Useless. Unwanted. Unloved. Betrayed. Hopeless. A failure.

"... If there is anything I can say on your deathbed that brings meaning to this pitiful death you are about to endure, let me say it right now."

He snapped his fingers, calling for the services of his lucky frog to come save the day.

"... You gave up before you even got a chance to start. You quit far too easily. Before you could make something of yourself, you made nothing of yourself. Be banished from this realm... When you lose the will to try, you're as good as dead anyway."

He turned his back in correspondence, now waiting for his lucky frog to do her things.

Though true Kairo's Words mattered not...Kayden had already made the mark of his bieng when he accepted tha he was a good as dead anyway...He didnt need any advice or final words from kario...they served no purpose to the dead.

"Just get on with it will you?!"

He yelled tears following fluently from his eyes....he had nothing left.

Kairo had nothing left to say to him. A deep cloudy fog started to roll in behind him as he shook his head, starting off into it.

"... Maybe in another life..."

With that, Kairo disappeared, leaving the mist to consume this poor, unfortunate soul...

And so, the mist rolled in, blocking off all vision from this defenseless boy...

Poor soul... Could not even see what was in front of his eyes... Too clouded...

The mist turned black, and with it, so too would the boy's body. Complete and utter dehydration, damn near instantly.

... What lurks in the dark... Is far worse... Than what you could have achieved with clear eyes... Geeekogekogekogekogeko...

This child should not have survived the black cloud that surrounded the entire graveyard. No way...

A soon as the mist Came he would feel his body drying out almost instantly...his tears them selves dried up as his body collapsed he..had passed from this world.

Geko... At least he'll prove to be a wonderful sacrifice...

Kaerei was a shaman. She used every part of the body and the spirit in her ways, and with this body as it was, it was nothing but a hollowed out husk, even before death. No soul whatsoever.

"... And now... The soul... and then the original... Gekori..."

Kairo was inadvertently leading her on a path she hadn't been on in a long time... This spirit was definitely meant for him.

Medusa: Kaerei.

... Geko.

Medusa: I think our little experiment just got a little more vast... We must get in contact with a Kappa.

... Gekori.

Kaerei knew full and well just what they needed to see a Kappa for... She was a frog, Medusa was a snake, Kappa was a turtle. Kaerei would be complete if she was one, and then, she could...

... The Kappa would be our weapon...

Medusa: But the Dark Weapon...

Will be taken care of... Geko....

Their new combination... was becoming rather good together. Medusa must have finally started to be assimilating with Kaerei's own mind. Soon, they would meld into one and Medusa's will would become Kaerei's... and vice versa.

Geeeekogekogekogekogeko... GEEEEKogekogekogekogeko...

The black mist would fade, along with the body and Kaerei. She needed to go find Allen... He was under contract. It couldn't be broken... And Kaerei knew. And so... She was gone.

Croak 43: Geko...

Returning to her swamp with the spoils of war, Kaerei had now the soul of Alana (since her body was burnt away) and the body of Kayden (who had no soul.) With these spoils, she could create a rather vile concoction of a new person... Using a variety of sinister Voodoo and snake magic techniques.

"Let the experiments begin... Geeeekoooo..."

The writ of an ancient ruin etched itself into the ground before the famed Frog Sage, casting a powerful spacio-temporal power that allowed for the man of great stature to instantly warp from place to place, the place happening to be the Black Swamp. Seems as though Grimlock held this place in high interest...

"... Good morrow to you, Sage of the Black Swamp... How goes it?"

He smiled warmly to her, his sharp eyes hidden behind the gleam of his razor glasses.

"I am here for a little proposition... I know you love to make deals. Might we?"

Her smile fled, eyes shooting straight up to meet his, her pupils narrowing horizontally like that of a frog's eyes. She was on the alert. Flashes of her body's image flickered in and out backwards to grow some distance. She was no fool.

"... So you've finally come... I figured you would seek me out sooner or later..."

For the first time ever, Kaerei was speaking with the utmost of seriousness, and not sick pleasure.

"What do you wish for...?"

Laughing heartily at her play of coy, Grimlock stroked his beard and smiled charmingly at the fleeting Frog Sage at the appearance of this humble man. Tapping his monocle only so lightly as to have it gleam as its position so slightly shifted, Grimlock extended his hand as if asking for a generous donation, his hand outstretched to the body before him.

"If you don't mind... I'd like to take that body off of your hands, my sweet. Would you care to wager?"

He didn't make any movements or gestures afterward, as he awaited the answer of the legendary sage.

This was all new to Kaerei, and she knew that he was up to something, but... It was almost an unfortunate curiosity that drives her to make these types of bargains.... Though they usually come out in her favor, would such a tactic truly work on this man?

"... For the body...? I'll give you... a warning of your future."

Almost as if in a tone cursing of his soul, Kaerei spake unto him his undoing in the far future.

"Be warned; if you should take this body and use it... a terrible fate follows right behind..."

Kaerei quickly humbled herself, closing her eyes and curling up, whilst disappearing at the same time.

A premonition? Balderdash. Grimlock was a master of all numbers and all calculations; the future was of no mystery to him. This woman's nonsense would only apply to those whose skills were far under those of Grimlock's... But a smart man never did not heed an omen. He still took it to heart, even though he knew it would not happen.

"Humble thanks for such words of the wise! Though I must disagree. I see that you know not to take anything from me, which is why you only gave me that warning. Smart lass."

He would take the body in his hands, propping it up with his cane.

"Now, if you will excuse me... There is something that must be done. Do not worry, I don't want to deal with someone like you in my endeavors. Consider it my payment, since you wish nothing of me. Ta."

He took a step forward back on his ancient runic circle and in a flash, disappeared.

Croak 44: Gekori...

A place long yet forgotten by this frog mistress, the Land of Eternal Rain used to be a place she visited often.

"Geko..."

She was here for a specific reason. She had heard of a magical Kappa that lived here, and was going to gain his magical wisdom... And try to earn his shell and grant her his power.

"Gekori..."

The magical Kappa that Kaerei sought was none other than the lone magic Kappa that resided within Tigen's care. This Kappa rose from the depths of the water, feeling a similar powerful spiritual force of nature come near and would greet Kaerei's eyes with its own.

Kappa: ...

It was waiting to see what her reasoning for being here was.

"Gekogekogekogeko..."

Kaerei spoke to the Kappa in a mystic and primitive amphibian language... Rather, more or less just croaks and the sort, but the Kappa should have been able to understand her speech that no one else could.

'I have come for your aid... In my experiments, my mystic brother...'

She smiled at him, her master plan very beneficial to the both of them, if this Kappa was interested... And if not, she had a nice shiny cucumber waiting for him if he wanted it.

The Kappa realized Kaerei's goals, and felt an odd connection to her that he had only ever felt with his good friend Tigen. Perhaps working for her goals was not as bad as he initially expected.

Kappa: ...

The Kappa emerged from the waters, walking slowly up to Kaerei, ready to assist her in any way necessary. These amphibious spirits needed to stick together in these trying times, right?

Kaerei smirked, grabbing hold of the hand of the Kappa. She knew it would understand her plea.

"Geeeko!"

Kaerei wrapped her sleeved arms around the body of the squishy Kappa, and would jump into the water, a spot of blackness appearing in the center where she dove. Slipping into the darkness, the black waters cleansed themselves behind her, becoming more pure than before once she left back to the Black Swamp.

Croak 45: Giving up my Body For A Just Cause....

Kaerei's apprentice, Allen, sacrificed himself in a battle.

Someone tried to take the body away to the Dusk leader, Khrona.

Geko... That belongs to me... Not Khrona...

The voice of the Frog Sage spoke up to Rokku before he left, from seemingly over his shoulder. The moment he would look to see who it was, the body would be gone. And even if he didn't, the body would be gone without a trace. Kaerei had gotten him now.

Croak 46: Poor Unfortunate Soul...

The body of Allen materializing back into her grasp, Kaerei would lay the body down before her. The lifeless corpse of Allen Momoto, who was under contract. This was the only reason Kaerei even cared to do this.

"Geko..."

She placed her sleeved hands atop the body, briskly waving them across the top of it completely and fully, whilst she started to say something in a sort of trance-like state. The contract would then manifest itself over the area she wiped her hands across his body.

"I call upon the spirits of the world... through the realm of spirits, bring this pitiful wandering soul back to its vessel so that it may live again... By my Shaman power, I call for the soul of Allen Momoto... By order of contract."

In moments, his soul should have come from wherever it was and surged back into his body. By order of binding contract, you know.

"... Geko."

As his spirit returned to his body it pulsated once. Then again and again slowly but surely his pulse kicked back up and he would begin to gain his consciousness back. His breathe steadily returning as it to got back on track.his eyes flickered though still close but soon they'd open and he would see the frog hag standing over him.

"ah!! what happened where am I!"

Shocked for the last thing he saw before his passing was the face of hevlaska before the innocence killed him off...but now he was back...how?

"I brought you back from your sorry afterlife... You're under contract, you know..."

Suddenly Kaerei's thoughts started to churn in her head, realizing that as long as he was under contract, Kaerei couldn't allow him to die, meaning... She could kill him all she wanted to, if she wanted to. Another added bonus to the deal.

"Gekogeko... Do you not remember what happened?"

Slowly it came back to him the events that played the part in his death. He was foolish to have done those things...it seems that was the last bit of his former life as shabuto playing a role in that stupid decision...one he would not make again.

"No i remember what Happened..."

He said standing to his feet looking around placing his on kaerai.

"Forgive me for that... it shall not happen again"

Croak 47: Once in a Blue Moon; Shin Aotsukiyomi

A pool of blackness darker than the eternal void silently opened under the feet of Allen, unseen to the eyes of the panicked below the Blue Moon. As he spoke to this companion, against his will was he snatched down into the abysmal murk, the pooling blackness leaving only the faint 'plop' of his body sinking into the surprisingly thick, swamp-like emptiness. Twas his matron who sought his presence so suddenly, his 'owner' and teacher, the Sage of the Black Swamp beckoning him to her home, swiftly and silently. As quickly as this pool did appear would it converge in on itself, till not a trace of it remained, and the three who were left behind would stand in confusion of what just occurred with their dear friend... He had a more important issue to tend to...

Croak 48: Be Prepared...

"Geko geko..." she croaked in the darkness, staring into the abysmal pool stalking her subject, "... Your time is almost here, Dawn Blood... Geko gekori..." Though she should have been extinguished with the will of Shinrei Tensei, she was left as a humble being no longer directly connected to that woman; her place was taken by Titania, and much like Tigen had done with Khrona, Titania had switched places for an 'equivalent exchange.' Now, like her counterpart, she was only loosely tied to the Tensei, and existed as her own being and ancient ancestral extension to the family. Such; she survived.

Now, returning to her position outside life and death, time and space, she sat in her Black Swamp foretelling the events of the Thirteen Moons.

"It is just like it was before... Geko geko." There were things that she knew due to her connection with Titania that others would not, and that upon the rising of the next moon... A horrendous tragedy would occur that none could stop if nothing was done now.

"I must capture the boy..."

With her froggy eyes set on the boy given to her by Khrona himself, she stuck her hand into the Black Swamp upon seeing him image at the base of the Tree and plucked him from his area quietly, bringing him to her Black Swamp.

The froggy Spirit Sage successfully pulled her apprentice from his current situation into her swampy abode, standing beside her as she continued crouching over the pool, as she always did. Shaking her draping sleeve of residual murk as did he, she looked at the boy from beneath her giant hat, her eyes not visible, though the froggy eyes atop her hat staring straight at him with an intense gleam.

"... You have witnessed the rise of the First Moon, have you not...? Geko... That is a terrible omen of the Second coming..."

She didn't move much from her spot, and from under her hat, it couldn't be discerned where her eyes were truly looking, but she was able to see clearly from the giant frog eyes at the top either way. She paused for a moment, her tongue lashing out into the blackness and swirling the water just a bit before a new image appeared within its 'reflection.'

"The Second Moon proves more dangerous than the First you have already witnessed... And upon its rise, will cause certain unstoppable doom..."

She cackled, "Geeeekogekogekogeko...!!" even though this was a serious matter, she did so enjoy the humor in it all.

"... And that is why you have endured everything you have so far... It has been fated... That you will be the one to stop that moon..."

All of the trials and tribulations he endured thus far was for this moment; including his close connection to Khrona. Something that was foreseen by eyes far beyond this boy's vision for quite a long time...

She cackled at the poor boy and his ignorance of the severity of the situation he was in. Finding it amusing in a sense, of course she couldn't help but laugh.

"Gekogeko... Gekori... How humorous... Geko. Your connection to Khrona and the Tree... The keeper of the Second Moon is not present anymore. She has moved on along with Khrona, leaving her moon, the Second Moon, without a Tensei to hold its power..."

She didn't expect Allen to know exactly what that meant nor how it was a threat to anything, and of course she would continue her explanation in full.

"... That means that there would be no way to stop it without destroying it. And the destruction of any one of the moons would cause all things to collapse... There needs to be someone to fill the place of the missing Insangel before the moon rises, for once it does, there will be no undoing what will already be done... I am no longer suitable to hold the moon up... And you are the closest presence to the tree..."

"Gekogekogeko..."

This was still so funny to her; he didn't understand at all. Ignorance is bliss, they say, but that didn't seem to be the case here.

"... I cannot tell you everything, child, but what you need to know... Gekori. The one who you feel abandoned by feels the same way as you... Gekogeko. If only you knew the truth..."

But all would be revealed in due time, as this horrible ordeal continued fully. Everyone would know the truth, if they survived to see the end of it...

"Geh," her tongue swirled the pools of the Black Swamp opposite, yet again, and this time a new image appeared beyond the moon. This image was of the Tree itself. "The moons are Khrona's last wish to remove himself from the planet's history so he may live in Peace with his family... Though, for a man who knows all, he did not seem wary of what such consequences would occur due to his actions..." The image of the tree projected the Thirteen Moons, all hovering around the top, sucking out energy from the tree until it was no more.

"Though he wanted to simply take the tree... Geko... He would end up taking everything connected to the tree... Including his family... And his entire history... Leaving gaps and holes in the planet's construction... Until the universe inevitably collapsed upon itself... Gekori."

The image of how that would work showed up in the water, too, starting with the Veritas collapsing on itself with no power equivalent to Khrona's to hold it steady, then crashing into the planet, and then the planet, being the very Center of this universe, would cause it and all things around it to fall apart.

"With no Center of the Universe, there is no stability or structure... Gekogeko... Seems like his only sane decision to leave everyone in peace caused insanity as a result! GEKOGEKOGEKO!"

Once everything fell apart, the Black Swamp returned to being pitch black, as that is what everything else would become if this dilemma were left unsolved. She retracted her tongue, returning her attention to Allen.

"... His action was both selfish and unselfish at the same time; he did it not for himself, but for the benefit of everyone. His power was too great for this world, and he became a volatile existence unable to control his immeasurably godly power... So it caused destruction everywhere he went... Not unlike..."

That father figure he looked up to at a certain point in time.

"Geko. Anyway... He only felt like he would make this world happier and a better place if he was gone. Though surely... He couldn't have overlooked this possibility occurring. He must have just trusted... That we would fix it! Geko Geko!"

Selfishly unselfish... He was becoming one with duality, so his actions became skewed... Light, but dark; sane, but insane; happy, but overwhelmingly sad. The man was a living contradiction... a paradoxical entity that a world that dwelled in the laws of balance through opposition could not handle. This would have been the outcome whether he stayed or went.

"... Gekoooo... Now that I've told you the gist... I ask... Shall you take the place of a Tensei and hold up the Second Moon if it rises...?"

Though she wasn't sure if those handling the Blue Moon would survive, Kaerei was going to be prepared just in case they did. Better to be safe than sorry when the time comes.

Allen stood there eyes still closed taking un her words hed open them examining her display. He'd sigh it was a bit much but it quelled some of the rage that sat within him. Khrina often worked for the betterment of others but in some way or form it turned for the worse. But Allen knew of the slacking off many were doing..as it stood now either the laid down and let everything crumble around them or...They fight fir what is precious to them,be that vengeance or love they now had to fight to see their ideals cone to fruition.

"It seems I have little choice in the matter..."

He said softly and sternly,he did have a choice ofcouse but with the code he now lived by he was duty bound to put the welfare of both the land and its children ahead of his own....by this creed his promise to Khrona and the mystic wood itself he had to accept.

"My promises never go unfufilled...I have a duty to Khrona and to the rest of them...even if his methods are insane...he must have..that he could trust me...and know that I would understand..."

Khrona...

"I accept this task..."

"Geheh... Acceptance is only the first part, my dear child..."

She extended her hand, covered by her unnaturally long sleeve, out toward Allen and held it before him, continuing on.

"... You know that by yourself, you do not have the power to quell such a moon... And that power will be sacrificed upon your doing so... That is why I have truly brought you here. To grant you the power that you seek..."

Her sleeved hand slowly waved up and down, beckoning for something to fill her palm...

"... You must give if you want to receive... Leave a penny, take a penny... You have accepted this task before you for the fate of all... But what price are you willing to pay for the ephemeral power to protect everyone you love...? Your home...? Your family...? Your trust...? Your loyalty...?"

Her hand continued to beckon, like a begger on the side of a road humbly urging assistance.

"Geko geko geko..."

And so the meat an potatoes were brought before him. In order to save everything he loved he had to give something that was of the same caliber. Each thing she mentioned only acted as a major part in Allen makeup...his lotality to the village to his friends and to the land itself.. His trust, those who he trusted and that trusted him..in order to save them he ran the risk of becoming an enemy of them all. His family the very people he had come to love and cherish, the very reason he stood here now..Shabuto, Marcelle, Chroma Lin...Khrona... but he could not deny that his power was wanting. That he could not dace this on without the power needed. Such a weighty descion though his mind was now made...

"If being branded an enemy of the very ones I love means saving their lives...than their hatred is something I would happily take on...though to do so would shatter the bonds that nade ne do what j am going to do..."

Such a heavy choice..but there was only one thing he could now think of that measured up to everything he desired to protect...

"In order to do what I must I am willing to give a most cerisged possession...my eternal soul..."

Now he knew..now he understood..how khtina must have felt . To save his loved obes he took on their hatred their rage and in doing branded him self and image of betraye. Allen might have to do...the very samething. His soul for their lives ...his free will for their happiness.

A wide, sinisterly insane smile spread across her shadow covered face, accompanied by a now more ominous cackle that called an ominous dark wind...

"Geko... geko... gekori. I was hoping you'd say that..."

Her hand continued to beckon, now a bit more swiftly and rhythmically than before, the stirring malevolent wind swirling about his body to bind his spirit in place rather violently. All the while, in the background, the vagrant spirits of nature known as 'Loa' and souls of those taken in the past by her Voodoo power setting the foreboding pound of drums in the background, ectoplasmic light spurting from every pore of the Black Swamp.

Bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum
Bum bum bum bum bum bum bum...

"Are you ready...?"

The wandering Loa and souls trapped in Voodoo dolls for her collection all repeated her words behind her, still keeping the ritualistic rhythmic flow. The young woman's supple face was revealed from the shadow of her hat for a brief moment, gleaming like the eyes of her frog-hat, which tipped over upon her face and shaped a ghaslty giant skull mask fitting of a Witch Doctor. With giant mask mounted and spectral colors illuminated by the spirits bringing dark lights to his eyes that he'd never seen before, she froggily hopped and danced around him, shaking her head violently from side to side.

"In exchange for power, you give me your soul... Your life you cannot sign back... For the sake of others, in you is left a gaping hole... Where your will once was, there is only black..."

The binding spiritual winds swirling about his body soon slipped down his esophagus, taking from him his very last breath he'd ever breathe... In the claw-like hand of the wavering dark spirit, the light of his eternal soul was held tightly within its grasp, Kaerei's name burned into its very essence. What appeared in her hand as she pranced wickedly about was a Voodoo doll constructed in the same fashion as Allen, save for the button eyes and threaded skin. The soul was placed forcefully inside the doll for containment purposes, subsequently making Allen Kaerei's new 'Voodoo Doll.'

"Geko geko... Zombified, enslaved and with no resistance... Now you move to only my beck and call... For the rest of your time in existence... You are mine; soul and all!!"

Allen's body would begin to change... His skin fabricated, matching the threaded body of the doll in Kaerei's hand, and upon his eyes, two large blood red buttons sewed themselves into his sockets, melting away the others. To his lips, needle and thread did sew them loosely shut. His silky purple hair pouring over his head became naught but yarn and string. His Dawn Blood poured from his body and into two vials which also appeared in Kaerei's hand, replaced with nothing but weird old stuffing. Now the boy stood as a walking abomination; a soulless walking doll that only moved at the Swamp Sage's command. But what of his promise of power?

"Yeeesss..." she croaked, the spirits all congregating around the vials of Dawn Blood, "Now, for your power... As a doll of Voodoo, whom or whatever you are to face, you will copy the power and capabilities of only what opposes you or wishes you harm. You will become invulnerable to their hostile attacks, and all damage they attempt to do to you shall only be inflicted upon themselves with the same severity as it would you..."

He was a Voodoo Doll now, after all. It was only natural. Kaerei adjusted her mask to her hat, and its ghastly skeletal face would revert to becoming the normal frog eyes.

"Also... Geko." She threw him a vial of the Dawn Blood, whilst she kept the other for research for her potions. "You can control the Dawn Blood the same way... Just only out of that bottle." Then again, she was the one pulling his strings now, so he wouldn't be able to do anything unless she gave the say-so, anyway. She was the ruler of his entire life, now.

"Geeeko... For the Second Moon, you are well equipped... No soul, a Voodoo body and the Dawn Blood to boot... Geeekogekogekogeko..."

He won't stand a chance against this boy now... Geko.

Just like Tigen was still technically 'part' of Khrona, Kaerei was still 'part' of Titania. They were just freed from being burdened by being restrained by not being their own beings, and now they could... Or, one of them, anyway. This was Titania's way of showing her love to Khrona, and now this boy... This boy was Kaerei's vessel.

Second Restriction... How will you fight a creature with no soul? Geko geko geko...

"Of course you can, my pet..." she spoke to him, as if hearing his thoughts, "Coat your body in the Dawn Blood, and it will become your skin... Not as smooth nor as fleshy as before, but not made of thread, either... Geeeko."

It also wouldn't cover up his hair or his button eyes. So he'd end up looking more freakish than he does right now as a living (kinda) walking Voodoo sack.

Regardless, the deed was done, and Allen was suitable to defend the Second Moon if it were to rise... Though the solution was makeshift and temporary at best, it would prove useful in the grand scheme of everything.

"Geko... Now, we must bide our time... If you care to prepare even further in this time of waiting, then go and gather whom and what you need... And if not, you may do as you please until I require your assistance... Gekori."

How would the world cope with a walking Voodoo Doll running around? They seemed to cope with Tigen very well, whose entire makeup before losing his body was of a similar composition... Save for the fact that he has a soul, and Allen would never have one again.

"Geko... I would suggest the same. This is your eternity from now on.. Lest I change it 'round some... Geko geko geko."

The spirits calmed and the swamp blackened, the Dawn Blood and Voodoo Doll of Allen taken and thrown into the swamp water, consumed for safe keeping.

"... You will be sent on missions soon... I will collect you and make you hunt for me... I may need more souls... More bodies... More dolls in the future. Geko geko geko..."

"Gekogekogekogeko..." she laughed with a croak, "Geeeeekogekogekogekogeko!!" The fact that this soul still existed was a miracle. If not for her enjoyment of collecting things, perhaps even this final remaining portion of Allen would have returned to Zero, as well.

"... Settle down now... I still own your soul forever..."

Kaerei was in no way worried. Now that the contract had fallen through, Allen was erased and the only trace of him left in existence, this soul, would be in Kaerei's possession for the rest of its days. No matter how many bodies, how many times it is reborn, nor how much it tried to struggle, it would eternally belong to the Swamp Spirit Sage. Of course, she couldn't help but laugh.

"Geeko gekori... Why are you getting rambunctious now anyway, my pet...?"

That's why you never want to owe a debt to the Frog Sage. She sat there and she laughed; she laughed at all who'd come and all who'd go. All who would ever have to suffer this fate, and all who already had drifting around her swamp. It was a cesspool of lost souls, and when one got in... It wouldn't ever find its way out of the Black Swamp of the Damned.

She took a nice, good whiff of the wayward and deceased fermenting in the void; the realm of death. Only the Reaper and the devil can get to and fro.

This woman was the devil himself at the gates of hell.

"Geeeekogekogekogeko... You were lost the moment you stepped foot in here, you know... Geko geko..."

He was cursed the day that he met with her; when Khrona first introduced him to her. Now he would be something worth shaping to her liking; no will nor form at all to give her any lip.

"When I said you move to MY beck and call... I meant it. Geeko...gekori..."

What kind of evil was she?

"Let's make a deal... gekori."

All too perfect. It would only be someone as rebellious as he that was necessary for this process. Easy fodder to becoming one of her little puppets... Why do you think she made his body out of straw and yarn? It was just a placeholder for the real value...

"Gekogekogekogeko..." she crooned, brought to all types of joys by collecting her rare prize, "... And this soul shall become fodder for Misery Des Gloomi... the Hellgirl."

That one was coming into creation, the parts were already in order... The body would be here shortly. She had been waiting for quite a while for another piece of a soul to inhabit that halfway hollowed cavity in her chest, and this one was about to be molded into just the shape and form it would required... And Black Rose, the Inari, could be freed. Killing two birds with one stone.

"Now I must wait for the others who will be of use to me... Geko geko gekori..."

The Seven Sisters of Insanity... Heh heh. They were about to skip right over the Second Moon... Because it'll live inside of the Seven Sisters... The Eternal Love of the Red Moon. Yes, this soul would serve as the placeholder now, a sacrifice to the blood red moon for purification, a piece living in each of the Seven Sisters. The sacred jewel would be shattered into Seven slivers Which also meant that they could skip right to the Third Moon, because Trinity was almost prepared... It was almost time for her to come down and fulfill execution of 'The List'... Or, perhaps let someone else bear the burden... Geko geko gekori... Someone with a little more wisdom in the matter...

"We're going to have to speed this process up a bit if we want to get to the end... Geeekogekogekogekogeko..."

And then, soon after, Pumpkinhead could be released... I bet roaming around in a dark void in between the dimensions would have kept him nice and pissed off. He was like a madman trapped in the darkness, waiting to see something to just destroy. And if all went well...

"We can let him loose..."

The Thirteen Moons could not be stopped. No, the Tensei had to face their calling, no matter what it may be. Once it started, the Thirteen Moons had to be completed. Even if one of the members of the family had to give it a little 'push' with a pin, sometimes. Geko.

Kaerei, Spirit Of The Black Swamp Of The Damned - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Kaerei, Spirit Of The Black Swamp Of The Damned   Kaerei, Spirit Of The Black Swamp Of The Damned - Page 2 EmptySat Aug 10, 2019 9:30 am

Croak 49: Long Time No See...

Geeekogekogekogeko...

The croaky laugh resonated throughout the swampland, indistinct in its location. Where one may seem to walk forever forward into nothingness, it would take the Earth King only a few steps of trudging through the swamp to reach the center... On behalf of the Swamp Sage, herself, that is.

"If it isn't my old Diamond Master, geko geko... How long it's been since we've seen each other..."

As per usual, Kaerei sat stooped over the edge of her pitch black swamp; no reflection in the pool at all. Her small shack rested in the back of the dark fog. As always, her large, frog-eyed hat akin to that of a samurai's straw hat left a majority of her face in shadow...

"... To what do I owe this pleasure...? Gekori."

"Geekogekogekori!! Why, I am not quite as comfortable as yourself when it comes to exposure..."

Naturally, the shining, naked man trudging through the muck was something to behold and quite rare a sight within the Black Swamp...

"... Of course, that's why I seclude myself here... Geeekogekogeko... To avoid that kind of attention..."

Nay, she was not quite as bold as her former Diamond Master, preferring to stay hidden in the murk, in the haze and in the black of the swamp than to be outwardly seen as a spectacle for all to behold.

"... Though, you may feed my brain with the feast of knowledge as to why you have paid me a visit so very abruptly...? No one comes to the Black Swamp for no reason, I'm always aware..."

There was nothing here except for the Swamp Sage and her friends on the other side, doing as they may out of the line of sight of all others...

"So... You're now involved in this madness, too? Gekogeko..."

It would make sense, since the planet of the planet is being threatened in its entirety, as well as the sanctity of all else that existed. Their balls were in quite the vicegrip thanks to this family here... More so, Khrona.

"Of course I am aware... Just because I do not leave this swamp does not mean I do not know what goes on beyond the borders..."
The Earth King searched for the solution for this problem, picking the brains of the Tensei he could find. It was quite the wise choice to pick perhaps the two most knowledgeable; Tabris and Kaerei.

"Gekori... So you've sought the assistance of the brainchild, the Grimoire that holds all such knowledge of all things...? Heh heh... The fruit of knowledge, that boy is... Yet, you seek to know my menial methods of sustaining this situation, I presume...?"

"On my behalf..." she started slowly, "... I have constructed a creature to do my bidding... He shall face the burdens of the Second Moon as the Tensei in my place..."

Naturally, only filling the gaps to a situation that needed to be rectified in the first place. Kaerei wasn't going to get involved; that was the purpose of all that she went through. Now, she was merely one who helped the process come to a close and have things come to peace.

"Help...? Hahahaha, only if one goes into the depths of the Second Moon with my Voodoo Doll..."

Kaerei grew silent for a moment, still staring into her black swamp water. It was time to explain her role in this matter.

"... Geko geko... For what you give, you only get an equivalent amount in exchange. The same goes for if you receive; you must then give an equivalent amount. If there is nothing to give..."

She turned her head, giggling to herself in frog-like croaks,

"... Then there is nothing to receive. This is how my philosophy functions; give a penny, take a penny. No matter the outcome, I will be fine... Gekoooo... My existence is a choice I have decided to make, so I exist outside of your world, outside of your laws, outside of your territory... Gekori. I have no presence nor influence until given an equivalent amount of what I need to do out there... Do you now understand?"

The Voodoo Doll she created served in her place because it could, at least, prove to be a worthy sacrifice on her behalf... After all, she already gave her existence to someone else. Technically, to anyone except herself, she no longer truly existed. Funny how the Tensei worked.

"... Do you seek my assistance, my former Diamond Master...?"

Quite the plan indeed, and of course, the Swamp Sage was never one to turn down anyone who requested anything of her. But, as her outstretched hand beckoned what she would receive in return, she asked him,

"... And what will you give me in equivalence to what you wish me to do...?"

That was how it was; no loopholes, no convincing her otherwise, nothing. Twas only one way to get her to do anything, as this was how it deemed necessary for her to interact. Cannot maintain a life of Absolute Zero is not given anything.

"I can do anything, as many of my brethren are capable... But even in our omnipotence, we have rules established by our own selves, independent of the laws forced upon all others... Geko. Mine is, to maintain the balance of staying in this world... this swamp, the Zero World as its master, all things I do must equate to Zero... Or else, I cannot be here anymore. Do you understand...?"

As the Earth King was now, he could only be here, existing in a world where all equated to Zero because of her presence. She was one with this place. Anyone who stumbled in here could only either leave with a wish granted, leave with nothing gained and nothing taken, or become absolute zero and cease to be.

"... Such is why I cannot leave. I am confined to this swamp and cannot exist anywhere that holds 'value' without given 'value.' It is... perfect balance. Gekogekogeko..."

Therefore, to maintain herself outside, she would need to be 'given' value and 'take' value equivalent to what she was given. Thus... She needed payment.

"Gekooo... Quite the offer... However, unfortunately... That cannot happen."

She was already 'infertile,' so to speak, after bearing the three Grims; Grimnyzmal, Grimlock and Grimro, as well as her Lanterns, Tigen, Pumpkinhead and Pumki (naturally on different sides of the spectrum of light and dark as Rei and Grimnis), and assuming her form as 'Kaerei,' she was unable to bear anything else to the Tensei name.

"... I cannot bring something into the world. Technically, that would be yet another thing I would give to you... What reason do I need another child?"

Though, there was something...

"... Unless..."

... The catch...

"... You bring me a soul of equivalence to the child you wish for me to bear you. A soul needs a body... Where you grant me a fragment of yourself, is but a fragment enough? Geeekoooo..."

To bring about a child, she would need his soul. That, or...

"Or, all of your seed. Your manhood, your offspring... Shall belong to me."

"The soul first," she said outright, hand outstretched and never falling, "... A soul in which is equivalent to the strength of the Insanity as well as the overall potential of a child born of Michio and Tensei bound..."

Hence why she would have required all his seed. The unfathomable power of which a Michio-Tensei breed would uncover was beyond that of anyone that still existed... Only Khrona Tensei, the one who forcefully became head of the family, could even be classified as something so glamorous in sheer power.

"I cannot make the contract until I have the required materials... So, who have you prepared... Geko geko geko...?"

Did he know of someone of such strength? Perhaps, one of his own...

"Do you have a child already? Born of the gods whose soul is tender for the plucking...? Or do you have something else of such godly strength...?"

nothing anywhere. Such was being the keeper of all that is at Absolute Zero; the ability to return all to nothing came with this price of only being equated to the equal value of anything and everything necessary to return such to 'zero.' No one came into her swamp unless they spoke of business.

"... I make no moves until my deals have been finalized... Only then, will anything established become of any value..."

Nothing that occurred or that was spoken would be done, between either of them, until the terms had been finalized by both parties. Her deals were absolute, and must be made in absolute equivocation.

"Until this is fully sorted out... gekogeko... All that is said and done amounts to zero. It is meaningless..."

Such a cold-hearted wench she was, but when one requires nothing and wants nothing, that was what one had to be to maintain balance. The thoughts of the offers ran through her head, concocting their images in the pitch black waters below them, in order to visualize this potential contract.

"You request two children... Neither of which I need nor want of my own... To quell the efforts of the Insanity, am I correct? What a large payment you will need..."

Two souls, two bodies... ALL of which had to be strong enough to not only fight the insanity, but the bodies needed to be strong enough to maintain such powerful souls within them.

"... And in addition to that already hefty sum, you wish of me to unlock a power between you and I? For this, you have but a single Aura Stone to offer me..."

Weighing the proportions, one Aura Stone would definitely be nowhere near able to cut this deal. The Tensei heritage was renowned for being able to do individually what all of the Aura Stones together could do together, if allowed to reach their full potential as gods and goddesses.

"... Your payment is coming up very short... Nothing will be finalized until all is equal... Gekori... Payment in far in the negative on your end... Geeekogekogeko..."

"... I do not need overabundance of strength..." she said bluntly, cutting off his stir of her black waters. All returned to Zero with her disagreement.

"... I need absolute equivocation."

He would find his words silenced, for nothing would enter nor exit without her consent. It was one of the things Tensei enjoyed most in doing; creating or taking over other worlds that they commanded absolutely. Now the deal was indeed sweetened; it turned out that there was yet another addition to the deal... Her services outside the swamp.

"... You wish me to face my great grandson's wrath...? Then you must give me something else... So far, your total comes to... Two bodies, two souls and my services... What bodies do you have to grant me...? I will not take just any soul for such a process..."

This was nothing that she wanted, meaning that everything that the Earth King asked was only for his benefit, and so he was the only one that would pay this price. Two Aura Stones would do nothing for her, save for quite possibly being only parts of one body. He would need to dig deeper... and give her more. He did not seem to understand the gravity of what his requests were...

"... All of the Aura Stones together will serve to create either a single body or a single soul... You must be greatly underestimating the combined power of Tensei and Michio... gekoooo..."

And this was still only one thing taken care of. Such was the price.

"... You are still missing payment for three components... As well as my services... What else do you have to give...? Nothing will be finalized, and all will return to Zero until the values of both sides are equal..."

get something for nothing. The Earth King's Dojutsu would be lost permanently, his right arm would be lost permanently, and he would lose on aura stone in exchange for two children and her services only once. This sounded like the rather balanced tradeoff. Perhaps she could use that Dojutsu and arm for one of her vile concoctions...

"Geko? You say you have someone who can achieve the souls and bodies...? Then, get them... Unless you want me to do so for you... Which will cost you extra. Geeekogekogeko..."

She was always happy to help, as long as there was compensation...

Making deals with the Swamp Sage, I take it?

It wasn't surprising that Tabris already had access to this sort of information... That was his purpose, after all.

I would highly advise against this course of action. You never want to make a deal with her. My suggestion is that you cancel it all. However, if this is what your heart is content on, then the consequences will be as they are... My rebellious son and quiet daughter are yours for the taking.

They were of his creation and by his hand, so it was not unreasonable for their lives to be taken back by him. They were artificial. Perhaps through this, their artificial lives could be organic.

It would not take long to disassemble them, he merely needed to call their data back into the rawest form and convert it into what one would call 'souls' and bodies. They would quickly be digitized to the swamp, as allowed by Kaerei.

Again... I would highly advise against this... Do not say I did not ever warn you.

It was a shame that he did not trust her, however she also felt like he didn't truly know what he was getting himself into...

"Gekori... All that shall happen is that the deal shall take place, and all things that come after shall be results of the deal. Nothing more, nothing less. It is only if it is tampered with that such maladies will ensue..."

Her deals were fair to perfection. It was only a matter of if the Earth King were to forge an agreement to the terms that were discussed and agreed upon would things begin to unfold in the favor of which he wished...

"Do we have a deal?"

"Gekori~."

The cheerful, resonant croak echoed through her bayou, the souls of the lost beginning to harmonize in their mournful wails. Almost like... The bells that rang before someone's death. The moment the Earth King tried to leave her swamp, he'd find himself right back standing before her black waters. She was the lady of the black waters, after all...

"... Where do you think you're going to go...
Without paying what you owe?"

There was no '
Quote:
The rune was forged however... Equalizing Zero. The energy of what exactly was unknown but the Earth King would have to investigate that and the Wings of Freedom soon.
', without the proper payment for such a transaction. The snake-like grin of the evil swamp witch, seemed to penetrate the foul black of the atmosphere, just because it glowed with so much vile, twisted pleasure.

Looks like the Insanity's getting a new body... Because that soul belongs to the swamps.

"Vectors... And all values... Return to this single point... Once they reach the very bottom..."

So. Now was the true test of skill and will; could the former student now surpass the original Master here? He should have been proud of her today on this day.

"So when any part of you gets stuck in here... It's only a matter of time before the rest gets stuck here..."

Why was she telling him this extra information now? Because it was a necessity only when they were bound to her world. Without the proper payment, someone couldn't exit this world. Everything needed to equal Zero; exactly how it was before you got back here, with equivalent exchange. In short, if you wanna leave, put everything back where you found it or be able to pay for it...

"So do you want the rune...? Or do you want to live...? Choose wisely..."

"When you get back..? Who said you were going anywhere?"

No, no, no, that's not how the Black Swamp worked at all, not even for someone of the Earth King's great stature. This was only because all values equaled Zero here, including the great and infinite strength of the mighty Destroyer. In Absolute Zero, that was all that number equated to; no matter how mighty, how infinitely powerful, or limitless one's strength may be... Absolute Value only amounts it all to nothing. So, when he brushed her off and went on his way, he'd find himself right back in front of her again, as if the deal hadn't been broken yet...

"... You want to leave...? You have to pay the price..."

It may have only been one version of the Earth King, but it was still a very real version of him nonetheless, and no matter what, his presence would lead him straight back to the Zero World eventually. Not that he could escape presently. He could attempt, but the only ways to do that would be to fight Kaerei and prevail over her, give her something, or destroy the Zero World. Just how would he go about transaction...?

No words were exchanged. Merely, a simple pull of thread once invisible before her face, glowing now with an aura of spectral light. One of the strings she was pulling...? The Threads of Life.

*Snip!*

She hesitated not a single moment during his speech to cut his line; the connection he had to the Earth King as well as to Tabris. In fact, to everyone outside the Zero World. A piece of plastic given direction, but a vessel nonetheless... The wide, snake-like grin akin to the second evil boiling in the corrosive cauldron that serves as the tar-pits of Kaerei's Swamp Soul. Medusa. Festering, being consumed completely, slowly but surely. Those two tactical minds in one soul...

"Now that your line's been severed, you cannot escape and he can no longer give you direction... Gekogeko..."

The body should have fallen lifeless at that moment, yet if somehow it did not, it was still disconnected from the outside world(s), isolated entirely by a place untraceable.

"This is my world, now, not your world...
And I've got friends on the other side..."
They were a-comin'.

"Fun Fact..."

She'd say, the Earth King returning to her feet once again once the lines were cut. This clone of the Earth King was in no way able to flee from this demise, she knew, for he'd already made bonds with the Tensei... And there was one whom she was working in quite the cahoots with. The one pulling the strings behind this...

"... The Family Bond never severs between the family... Geko geko... Otherwise, they would have gotten rid of me and my Grim Children a very long time ago... When the curse first began! Geko geko geko..."

The Earth King had no clue of the inner workings of the Tensei heritage, and this was quite the good thing. She was the family demon. The family curse. That which effected everyone and everything connected. The Red Moon no longer belonged to her, but her veins still surged with that same blood, and those thin lifelines went all through the tree and any other Tensei that was of Grim heritage or harnessed the power of Absolute Zero. Khrona included. She made sure to get to him first, even if it was something so small, so that no one would be able to stop her.

"So stay your connection to that Grimoire's data, and we will see just how free you are with clipped wings... Geko geko..."

Another quick snippet at their call, and the bonds of Tabris and the Earth King were severed, the Wings of Freedom along with it. Though things are able to drift into this interdimensional black hole cesspool, but nothing could escape. The use of Absolute Zero is how Khrona severed the bonds between Zita and the Demon King after the Skullgirl was revived. And now he would continue to deteriorate even further the more he tried to resist and the more prolonged his exposure... Could he truly find a way out of Kaerei's madness? Even if he did, she was pulling far more strings than he realized right now... and it would catch up to him in the near future...

But the smile of the devilish creature did not fade, for already in a long and unstoppable process, her replacement would be on the way. She was getting too old for this job, anyway... It was time for someone younger and more spry to take on the family curse... One of the many beings that were going to make their way into the Zero World soon would not be able to exit without proper payment, and would indeed become bound to this world just as she. Or perhaps... Her corrosive soul would possess and eat away at the soul of whomever came down here. Hers was a soul most vile after all.

So she laughed. Stupid, crazy, senile, as the timeless old woman she was, this body now expired on her, too. The crazy Sage could only laugh as she made her final words slipping into a state of blank cognition...

"Pleasure doing business with you...
My former Diamond Master.
Geeekogekogekogekogeko...
GEEEKOGEKOGEKOGEKOGEKOGEKORI!!!"

Who would be next to take her place? The Zero World wouldn't wait forever. In fact, it had quite the selection to choose from... And all the batshit insane, delusional old woman had to do now was wait. Wait and laugh. And laugh and wait. Put into motion, it would not cease; she was well overdue for a replacement anyway. The Zero World... Would not be pleased without someone to control it. It would rise up as a black ruin and consume everything, just as the abysmal stomach of a Grim would do. Such is where they were born; from abysmal darkness known as 'Nothingness,' something was found, and to it, something would return. She just had to wait for the proper procedure...

resonant laughs, the Fairy Queen now stood before her. She already knew what this meant; that her wish was going to have to be granted by Titania... And when Kaerei got out, not only would she be dead and a nonexistent force of nature, but also... This mess was going to have to be cleaned up next.

"... Where there is life, there must also be... Death. Kaerei, you've served your purpose in this place up to the point of your own severing of your own cognition. You are nothing now but a lifeless doll of the Zero World, a vacuum of pure nothingness."

She was the nothingness that would now suck up this world, just the same as Dimensia. Why was solving the Tensei problems always so apocalyptic? This was the second curse of the family; the Zero World, world of all that is Grim. It had ceased to exist.

"... Khrona... Help them..."

And of course, her wishes would be made reality as she looked up at the stars, the waters of the Black Swamp Springing to Life from the cesspool of Death and Decay. It was a real Hell down here. The Fairy Queen of Dreams, the Friday the Thirteenth Fairy sang up to the moon just as her husband once did for her... A prayer, of sorts...? A spell...? A wish upon a star...? To the one that got all the Luck Magic as she was left with Malfortuna...

"The Sandman's coming in his train of cars...
With moonbeam windows and with wheels of stars...
So hush you little ones and have no fear...
The man-in-the-moon he is the engineer...

The railroad track tis a moonbeam bright...
That leads right up into the starry night...
So come you little ones and run up the stairs...
Put on your ‘jamas and say your prayers...

Hush you little ones and have no fear...
The man-in-the-moon he is the engineer..."

Kaerei got her wish thanks to the Earth King... To simply cease to exist. Now what remained of a land purified of the family's demon was that demon lurking about upon the world. So a wishing station was erected nearly instantaneously, robed with dreams and stars sprouting from its center. A Wishing Well connected on the other side to the Fountain of Dreams. An easy access portal something similar to the Dimension Gate that existed at the base of the Crystal Tree. Titania was ruler of this Fairy Spring now; every fairy had one, and of course the Fairy Queen's had to be the most grand of all; a fountain literally pouring with her Phantasmagoria, essence of Dreams and Nightmares. Friday's bloodline trait.

We'll have to fill these blotches of nothingness somehow... What better way than with infinite sources of energy? Perhaps you can bring your Nightmare Energy Pumpking... To be the Djinni in my lamp...

A Fairy and a Djinni in union? Tigen and Friday; Flame of Eternity and Friday the Thirteenth. It was the only way... It would allow history to repeat itself. But the correct way this time. With both empty vessels filled for the greater good.

You know we have to finish this process as quickly as possible... The next moons will come swiftly...

The falling Crystal Fruit streaked silently through the sky bathed in light, like a star in the night air, shining from up above. It gleamed with all the colors of the spectrum, harboring a Spectral Wavelength that could only belong to the Crystal Godsoul, Kamitamashi. It was a wavelength that harbored all wavelengths, all spectrums of light, vibration and utter waves to ripple across the wavering constellations in the undulating 'waters' one could say.

Someone else had finally taken that old, haggard 'death woman's' place. But she wasn't doing it alone. The Crystal Fruit of Life was here to help her grant wishes; a Djinni in a lamp of spherical crystal that served as its head. Familiar, almost like how it happened back in Dimensia... Except this time...

"TIGEN REMEMBERS~!!!"

This little Flame of Eternity spiraled into the Nightmare a long time ago, and ever since he did, things made such drastic changes. The same thing would happen as the comet passed through solid substances, phasing through them like a dream. The Magical Orange (Crystal Fruit) ignited in flame as a bulbous orb of light shimmering beside the Fairy Queen.

"Pheeeeewwww. That makes this a lot easier, huh~? Tigen is so happy to be FREE!!!"

The Earth King's chain of events, though originally seeming for the worst, became what was for the greater good of everything. His service to the family was strong in his bond. This Freed Will, Tigen Tensei, literally manipulating his own Degree of Freedom through each and every dimension he passed through as the Dimension's Keeper; the Pumpking. Ready to take his throne back on Dimensia. And what would occur... the Nytozpear would cease to remain the placeholder for Tigen's house and become the new Dimensia! Because it all started in the Nightmare...

"Another patch of nothingness filled up already~! This'll be easy at this rate!"

Titania's wish was being fulfilled. But not everything would be so peachy keen. But at least Tigen and Titania could say thanks to the Earth King; he's saved the day! The Spectral Wavelength of Khrona's soul cast out resonant ripples capable of neutralizing the Insanity, as it was indeed its own force. However, in doing so, the intensity of the Insanity that was within the Dusk was now transferred somewhere else... That same hatred that was within the city burning in an inferno from the Insanity's gaze was now being transferred to... another point where it existed, intensifying its power...

"Yes... Yes indeed," she noted to her husband's 'djinni' form. It was so cute and full of life, much like she in 'fairy' form. Friday the Thirteenth Fairy form, rather. She was with him through Trinity as he was with her through Tigen. Now that everything was starting to align, it was time to begin the true operation...

"... Tigen, my sweet... I will be needing your Omegafier... It is larger than this planet, yes? I believe we can get rid of this all in one go..."

The Omegafier's power was easily enough to send a single drop of Tigen's Liquid Energy through and have it come out still even larger than the planet itself. It was the most powerful magnifier he had at his disposal, and came from many transformations... But if given enough time, he would be able to achieve it and then, even a speck of whatever was sent through would be enough to cover the planet.

"... Hmhm. Our will shall be done... All for you, my love..."

She pointed out to the distance, as if reaching out to the boy that hovered close to her, his memory slowly collecting itself in his head. The moon that fell; she beckoned it closer with a sway of her fingers... The Moon Goddess would help his project along as much as she could, in all shapes and forms of herself, just as he was doing on his end. Now that they could both act... They'd achieve it.

"... Tigen. We're speeding up the process of the moons, and the Omegafier is key to the reckoning of this world... Will you please go through the necessary protocols to bring this about?"

Her darling husband already sent her the pitch... A sinker. It was her turn to swing the bat.

*Poit!*

"GO GET EM, DADDY-BRO~!!"

The sound of a little girl's hyperactive squeal trailed behind her instantaneous transportation, bursting into a resonant energy just powerful enough to keep her from destroying everything with her entrance. Only the faint sound of her voice assured the victory, altering the outcome of what was to be with only what she said. No sooner did the shrill cry of excitement banish her throat did a scythe spurt from her back and bat avaste the infinitissimo that was this Spectral Wavelength with what would be called a simple *Flick!* of the wrist. It was all a game to these twins, the Friday the Thirteenth Fairy and the Pumpking. They were still brother and sister after all, despite being parents and children. In the stead of her mother, she snagged the frame in between the ocurrence of events (as her counterpart, Tigen, was known to do) and fulfilled her wish and the wishes of both her mother and father as if it were her own. He would be sent sizzling clear across the sky and out of the planet's atmosphere instantaneously with ease. Should have been right about enough to make it to the sun...

... Though in her stealing of her mother's frame in order to change the probability absolutely to her own, this moved her timeframe of herself from when she was supposed to have her causality occur. Therefore, there was nothing filling the space in between before the cerulean orb bearing down on her with its mentally restrictive gaze.

"Uh oh..." the young Friday the Thirteenth Fairy cried, now having to live with this punishment that she created for herself. A karmic retribution for so casually altering probability? This was the new fate... for the moon to impact the planet much faster in the place of what was to be only a moment before... From the way things looked it seemed like the moon was going to steal the moment away...

... Not unless Fairy Queen Titania had something to do about it. Her wish was fulfilled right at that moment, far to perfectly synchronized with the events of her husband to ensure that all three of their efforts were accurately prepared to fall into the place of Trinity's mistake. Her finger was already prepared to combat the misfortune the Malfortuna would bring, allowing her wish to come true right at that very moment. Fortunately, all Tensei shared the same capabilities despite phenomenal relative difference in personal touch. Trinity was still quite young, and did not know how to accurately calculate her coordinates in the best way possible when she warped. She would have to learn from her brother to appear right on time. Tigen was a warping prodigy, after all.

All of their wishes were going to be granted all at the exact same time. All she needed was a single frame to snatch so she and her husband could make them come true. With the cerulean marble in set upon her finger, did she too *Flick!* it away toward Tabris... Where the Sword of Truth should have been meeting at the exact same time...

Trinity gazed in awe at her mommy's awesomeness, her eyes sparkling as her mouth hung wide.

"OOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAHHHH!!! Mommy, you're almost as cool as daddy!!"

The Tensei gene was absolutely most dominant, so she definitely took more of a likeness to her father than her mother, even though she shared some expressly similar and undeniable qualities from her mother. Even so... It was about time for the Goddess of Death to get things under way as best as she could.

"Mmmm... Alright, mommy! Daddy wants me to do somethin or somethin, so um... Sowwee~!"

Though it didn't seem like Trinity REALLY cared all that much nor was ACTUALLY sorry about what she was about to to. She immediately latched herself to her mother's head like a brain-squid and began to suck out all of her consciousness and knowledge and stuff, allowing for the famed Tensei technique 'Absorption' to quickly draw out all that Trinity needed for the next set.

"We still love you, though! MUAH!"

She kissed her mumzy's forehead and smiled, starting to create from all of her mother's amazing super cool power a really cool and amazing being...

It's alright, dear, I already know...

Titania... Rather, Shinnia, at this point, closed her eyes and allowed her daughter to siphon her consciousness, slowly, but surely beginning to lose her mind to Trinity's influence.

"... Everything I do, I do for him...
For us...
The same way that he does..."

And with a smile on her face, she would let herself succumb completely and fully to her daughter's will, not only connecting their minds together the same way that Khrona and Trinity's minds were, but giving Trinity total control over all that was Shinnia's consciousness. Her powers, her knowledge, her being... All for Trinity.

"Just make sure...
To make your father happy...
I love you two, too..."

The combined power of mother and daughter; the Goddess of Dreams and Wishes and the Goddess of Death and Consciousness bonded together once Trinity attached herself to her mother's head, allowing for her to call into this realm a being of such grandeur that this world had previously never seen before; she who opposed the Judgemaster's Law with a Will that would never submit to something as feeble as this lawmaker's whim, his opposite, Grand Genesia, the Creation.

"... This is... Our strength combined...
Together, we can save him from the Insanity...
Or at least keep him halted for a little while longer..."

Rising from the beautiful waters of the lagoon that was now the Fairy Spring of Truth, bathed in all the waters' overflowing ethereal magical essence was what one would believe a being made of pure magic itself. Born of nothingness and sustained by its own consciousness (the combined powers of 'Consciousness' and 'Magic,') the Willmaster was created, and she was the bane of the Judgemaster, as was the Judgemaster to she. Counteracting forces that were supposed to work in tandem, yet were forced into opposition.

"... We must right the wrongs of the Judgemaster...
For in his Insanity, he will attempt to bring tyranny to this beautiful world we wish to create...
And this world cannot be run by tyranny, fear, rules and oppression...
It will stifle them and keep them from making any progress..."

And as was by her own Will that she dispersed into thin air, this being of pure Conscious Magic; Will itself. She would appear at the Tree of Life, where she was summoned by Tinasanti.

Completely consuming what was once Titania (well, Shinnia) and releasing her power as the Willmaster, who was the new Fairy Queen of the Fairy Spring of Truth (where she would be residing from now on), Trinity felt this power overtake herself as well, her mother's body withering away to ash once Trinity finished the absorption.

"Mou... It's a good thing you got reborn again cuz of Daddy! We can never die~! Now you get to be better and we can be a happy family again!!"

Even so, Trinity felt a huge drop in her once infinite power. Almost all of it was being focused on keeping the Willmaster in existence (since the Willmaster was her soul) and the energy that was normally used to sustain her body was at its most minimal. In short, Trinity (now Shinity) was nothing more than a Genin Goddess of Death.

"Ooohhhh... Mmmm... I dun feel so peppy like I used ta..."

She rubbed her head and tried to fly, but flying seemed to be pretty difficult for her now. She could only barely hover above the ground.

"Buu!! This sucks... Can't even... fly... *yaaawwwn*"

She was getting pretty sleepy... And, as she closed her eyes, she could faintly hear the words of her parents calling out to her in the back of her mind...

Quote:
"Trinity... Come to me..."

"Mmmm..." she mumbled, dozing off, her physical form starting to disperse as she did, "... Mommy... Daddy... Trinity... Is coming... Mmmmm..."

She really missed the two of them, in all honesty. Without her own conscious effort, she would disperse and *Poit!* herself somewhere entirely new, into the realm of Deep Thought, where she was being called by her parents.
