The $yndicate: Valparaiso Branch; Color Factions

Unlike in the rest of the Veritas, the Valparaiso Branch of the $yndicate is operated by several different factions that are independent, but can become unified if they so choose. Each is assigned a color and a faction, of which there are several, each serving a different purpose both in Valparaiso and the rest of the Veritas. Their loyalty is to their own color faction, but their obedience is to their leader. Each of the different Color Factions also specializes and caters to a certain species in the Veritas.

The Color Factions are as follows:

White Lotus: Kings - Divine Beings

Purple Dukes: Rooks - Nytozins

Yellow Deacons: Bishops - Instruments

Green Hearts: Queens - Aethereals

Red Nemesis: Knights - Beastkin

Blue Seeds: Pawns - Fae

Black Licorice: Cutthroat - Lawless

Runs the Valparaiso Shoppe and Black Market.

Mysterious orphan wearing an oversized-sleeved hoodie, with the hood completely overshadowing the face. Does very shady things all across the Lawless Land, and is sometimes seen in the Mainland, somehow. In charge of the 'Back Door', and also rules the 'Battle Orphans'.

An ursine businessman known to constantly smoke cigars and also has noticeably pink ears. He is the de facto leader of many Valhalla businesses, under the corporation of Tymonland.

An Italian banana that works for the mafia as an underground enforcer and private investigator. Is authorized to carry out hits.

A secret service hooker who takes her job seriously. Although she employs seduction in almost everything she does, she only metaphorically 'hooks' people into compliance with her. And, she is also a living hook.

The alter ego of Angel Cake, which turns from the ultimate sweet to the ultimate sour. Said to be capable of changing any type of sweetness into negativity, and is able to Taint the Gel species.

Slays naughty children... But also known to slay any child when given a directive to do so, such as genocide.

The youngest of a trio of vampire siblings, who lives in the Lawless Land in abandoned buildings in complete darkness under the pretense that there is a show about to begin in there. It waits for unsuspecting people seeking the show and then uses its extremely long, tendril-like fingers to ensnare distracted targets in the darkness before using the giant fang to absorb their Life Energy.
