Engineous, The Boiler Room; The Junk Lord's Lair

Deep in the bowels of Magnum, the Great Pumpkin Head, there was the boiler room, where all of the scraps and junk and other such extraneous or miscellaneous or remnant byproduct materials were processed for residual purposes, then recycled or discarded appropriately.

He who was in charge of this process was the Void Bo$$, Master Chef. However, even before Master Chef, there was one in charge of the actual Archival Data itself that was what was used for Master Chef's cauldron for fuel in the Boiler Room...

"Order Up," spake a metallic Pumpkin Head, emerging from the flames of the boiler. "Straight From The Junk Lord." The Silver Pumpkinhead, which ruled the Archives, transported the archival data to be sorted appropriately. Eventually, a robe of darkness poured from underneath the Silver Pumpkinhead, creating its body. "Rev Up Those Fryers."

The Void Bo$$, Master Chef, who ran the maintenance room, and was in charge of maintenance, which consisted of the Pumpkinheads, was, too, a Pumpkinhead. Secretly, of course. None could tell underneath the dark and shadowy robe that he wore, which obscured the entirety of his face and body completely. His arms were a large sharp spoon and fork, and there was a giant butcher knife on his back.

"... Very Good," Master Chef praised gruffly, "... Though It Has Taken You Ages To Gather Up Everything." Master Chef turned and floated over to the pile of Archival Data, sorting through with his eyes. "... But I Suppose It's Time To Burn Everything Up Behind Us, Finally. To Let The Flames Feast... On What They've Been Craving All Of This Time..." Master Chef scraped the edges of his sharp spoon and fork arms together, expectantly. "... I Will Serve Them Well... To Their End."

The flames started to broil.

"Yes. Quite." Silver Pumpkinhead chuckled. "But Of Course, This Cannot Work With Only Just We Two. We Need The Third Of Our Maintenance Trio -- The One Who Carries Out The Actual Field Work. I May Be The Scavenger That Gathers The Archival Data, But The Metal Pumpkinhead... The Counterpart To Me, The Silver Pumpkinhead, And Also You, The Original Pumpkinhead... That One, The Pumpkintwin, Is The One That Does Most Of The Heavy Lifting In This Endeavor." Pumpkinhead, the Void Bo$$ Master Chef, was the one who dealt with the final execution -- when the Archival Data was sorted out thoroughly and readied for processing.

But the one that actually did carry out the sorting was neither Silver Pumpkinhead that dealt with Collection, nor Pumpkinhead, who dealt with Execution. This was the job of Metal Pumpkinhead, who dealt with Organization. "... We'll Wait For The Metal Pumpkinhead To Finish And I Will Make Another Onceover For Some Remnant Data That Hasn't Been Dropped Yet. When The Metal Pumpkinhead Is Too Full, Or Completes A Resolution, It Will Expel The Data For You And Be Readied To Receive More. So Most Of Your Time Will Be In Wait Until Metal Pumpkinhead Is Done. Though... I'm Sure You Don't Mind, Do You, Dear Boy?"

After all was done regarding the End Of The Fall Of The Ninth Moon, the Metal Pumpkinhead was sent to its final destination to complete the Archival Protocol regarding the Argus Card System. "... Four Cards Remain From The Old Data..." It droned. "... We Are Back On Schedule; It Will End Here." There was no emotion to the Metal Pumpkinhead. "... Then We May Finalize The Remainder Of The Cards And Complete The Algorithm In Permanence." It seemed like it was relaying information that was lingering about, and not just speaking on its own -- for Metal Pumpkinhead had no true words of its own; only the accounting and recounting of data, which it relished in, and loved more than actual thoughts and feelings.

"If We Collect The Final Pumpkinheads, We Can Complete The Archival Data As A Unit, And... Then... We Can Eat." The burning, infernal red eyes of Metal Pumpkinhead blazed like it had suddenly gained a spark of emotion -- a deep, dark passion for the fodder for its fuel.

Though the wait had been long, the Metal Pumpkinhead was faithful and true -- definitely a Pure & Precious Metal, 100%. "Ah, Right On Time, Dear Boy!" cried the Silver Pumpkinhead, who was much less pure -- but not a single bit less precious -- than the Metal Pumpinhead Pumpkintwin. "Myes... This Will Do Quite Nicely, Old Bean. Therefore, It Is About Time To Call Upon The Gold Pumpkinhead... As, I Do Believe She Too Has, Ever So Coincidentally, Completed Her Tasks, As Well... Which Would Mean..."

Of the Pumpkinheads, there were three gathered together at present -- the Original Pumpkinhead, Metal Pumpkinhead, and Silver Pumpkinhead. That left only the Gold Pumpkinhead, Red Pumpkinhead, Black Pumpkinhead, and Blue Pumpkinhead that were left -- excluding the Void Pumpkinhead and Crystal Pumpkinhead, which were -mostly- exempt from the processes of the other Pumpkinheads. "... Quite The Nice Wrapup, Indeed... Four Cards; Four Pumpkinheads. Hmhmhmhmhm... I Do Believe We Have Achieved 'Checkmate', Chaps." Silver Pumpkinhead could not say it was not ecstatic, but such emotions were wholly unbecoming of its composed nature. "... Well Now, No Need To Dillydally -- I Will Summon The Gold Pumpkinhead Posthaste."

And so, a metallic resonance emanated from Silver Pumpkinhead's dome, linking directly to the Gold Pumpkinhead.

Finally finished with her cutthroat revenge mission and dual business ploy, Taijitu, the Gold Pumpkinhead, arrived at the scene where the other Pumpkinheads started to congregate, now in her own Pumpkinhead form. She retained her physical womanly shape, but her head was now a glowing, bulbous, golden, metallic light surrounded in what looked almost like an atomic orbit. "Yeah, Yeah, I'm Here, I'm Here, Silver! Don't Say I Never Did Nothin' For Ya!" She scoffed. "So. Guess That Just Leaves Black, Red, And Blue, Eh? Well, Allow Me To Get Comfy!" She plopped down on one of the metal pipes in the area, kicking a leg up over the other, swaying it patiently.

As fortune would have it, the Red Pumpkinhead harbored the Boiler Room inside of itself -- for, Red Pumpkinhead was the Sun of the Veritas, known as Magnum, The Great Pumpkinhead. Though it was only known as Great Pumpkinhead when combined with the Original Pumpkinhead, the de facto term for the Sun of the Veritas was both Great Pumpkin Head and also Magnus Ignis; Red Pumpkinhead. This meant that once it was time for the Red Pumpkinhead to assemble, it didn't need to be called -- it was already present, and needed to consciously project itself inward to appear with the others.

The burning inferno of blinding light ignited before them, and there would stand Titus, the Magnus Ignis; Red Pumpkinhead -- Burning fists, hair, feet, and all, prayer beads secure around his neck. "... And Then There Were Two..." he muttered, assuming a meditative position, fusing the burning flames that were his hands and feet together.

The shadows of all of the Pumpkinhead that gathered thus far would congregate into a singularity, which ended with a spectral gaze of deep void penetrating from the spatial abyss of its collection. Robes upon robes of layered darkness, each of different shades of umbra, formulated underneath the pitch black singularity serving as the rotund black head. A somewhat gaudy, violent headdress that protruded from it resembled a pirate's hat, and the black head itself, a pumpkin and a skull. This was Black Pumpkinhead, the Black Skull.

Otherwise known as... Golgotha.

"... And That Is The Last Card From The Archives," spake he, who was monitoring heavily the Argus Card System. "Seems As Though Blue Will Be The One To Do The Honors Of Crossing Us Over. Pity; I Was Hoping It To Be Me. But, Blue Does Deserve It -- The Only Of The Pumpkinheads To Never Get Any Recognition At All." Sad, but true: Blue Pumpkinhead was all of the sad, complex, melancholic emotions that the other Pumpkinheads suppressed under... Mostly wrath. Yet, that woe was far more a doomsayer than perhaps the wrath of Pumpkinhead, if not equal to it. "... Blue Pumpkinhead," beckoned Black Pumpkinhead from the abyss, a resounding noise echoing about the Veritas from his calling into his own universal Black Pumpkin Head, "... It Is Time. And You Get To Do The Honors. Don't Hold Us Up, Now. This Is Of Utter Importance."

They would wait then for the appearance of the Blue Pumpkinhead... Jack Frost, the Cold Death.

The first card that was drawn which was not of the Archival Data would manifest the Blue Pumpkinhead after it was called. Somehow, it was sentimental, and the cool, blue, fiery bulb that formed already had a baleful look in its eyes... Like it had foreseen something tragic, and remembered something painful. "... I Suppose It's Only Natural That The First Card Which Would Summon Me... Would Be One So Sentimental To Us..." The entire area dimmed and cooled, and none of the normally raging hot fires of the Boiler Room would be able to burn; only simmer. "... Oh, Pudding..." he moaned softly, extracting the card from out of his essence, to gaze upon it for himself. "... Very Well, Brethren... I Will Lead Us Not Into Temptation... But Deliver Us From Evil..."

And that was the beginning of the true woe. A doomsday most melancholy.

Turning, Blue Pumpkinhead would slowly, drearily walk toward the now paled flames... Into the bowels of the furnace... Drawing all of the other Pumpkinheads in line behind him as they departed.
