Instead of the intended effect, which was supposed to be 'Torture,' because of the events in the land, something shifted the effects of 'Torture' via the causality of 'Discord' influencing it.

Beyond Vescrutia, the Master, Khrona, returned from Vescrutia's thick murk of Insanity after making a clean and straight path for them. From that point on, the Angels would tend to that place, including the ones that were arranged for the ones seeking to depart the planet, itself. They would be brought out as they may by the Angels taking on the forms of the lifeforms of the planet, something like the lesser 'Aliens' are known to do, and as many Angels have been for eternity.
