As per instruction, the $$$ (That is, $uper $ecret $ervicemen) gathered in the hall of Mechanica's Factorial City, in Mechanica's 'Abandoned Tower.' Apparently, from undocumented report, it was the former steeple of the Machine Witch, Mechanica, who was the leader of an army of mechanical people as their absolute authority. They knew of their master and her superiority over them by design, for they were not singular entities, but a part of the larger Machine that is she, herself. Only the $$$ were allowed access to this dark, Forbidden Information after assimilating themselves with her History File Drives. This allows them to view exactly why the world keeps getting destroyed, as is part of her system to repeat and recycle with different variables; A Simulation Generator, of sorts, almost like a 3D Printer. With it, they had entered the designated coordinates of their single superior, of whom they took their orders from. They were ready for Business.

Mister Sir, the leader of the Syndicate by default, would take off his shades and marvel at the shining splendor of the luminous angelic figure before him, saying nothing but "Mother of God... So it DOES exist..." He'd heard stories and legends of beings such as this; Angels, but had never actually witnessed one appear before him. He thought that they were just creatures from the lore... But it seems as though the Sacred Text is True. "You are... One of the heavenly hosts, then? As it is written?" Mister Sir seemed skeptical about the existence that was before him, quite honestly. He knew the story well, of course, having acquired much from its wisdom... But as for actually believing it fully? It wasn't until he saw the wondrous works before his own eyes that he was actually on board with this, as well as more trusting of the events that went on between his inconspicuous boss and those associated with him.

"... We have our orders," he said, placing his shades back on, a tear falling from his eye as he bore witness to this divine being, "... Yet, I have something I want to ask you..." If this creature was indeed an 'All-Knowing' being, as it was listed in its data, then... "... What is the purpose of restoring the steeple to that factory?" Before he did anything, even if he was all about following orders of superiors with trust and loyalty... He wanted to know for himself what all of this was about. Just for personal understanding. "And... What will become of me, here in Valparaiso, once we are done restoring the Factorial City?"

"Yes," he responded rather promptly, "One Of Three Divine Beings That Make Up One, As A Whole; We Gather, Sort And Sift Information Of All Types, Separating The Corrupt Data From The Usable Data And Send It Back To Be Redistributed As We Cleanse Old Data And Make It New Or Pure Again." They were what was known as 'Takamagahara,' or, the 'Black Market' to those who were unfamiliar with the 9th's purpose with information distribution. "We Write The Code, Give The Code, Alter The Code... It Moves To Our Will And Our Design, Yet We Only Move When Given Instruction By The Father. Or, When Our Leisure Aligns With Our Instruction. We Are Most Obedient, For Disobedience Will Corrupt The Delicate Data That Is Sent Back To You, And You, The Ones Who Utilize The Data We Send And Code We Write, Will Receive Corrupt Data." They'd already generated quite a bit of it in and of themselves, but the arrival of the 9th was their way of going about fixing it without completely obliterating everything by disassembling the very 'Matrix' that caused their universe to remain sustained, so to speak.

"The Purpose Of The Steeple... The Dark Factory It Was Connected To Was Once A Church. There, Many Were Taken And Converted Into Machines By Mechanica And Made To Follow Her As Worshipers. A Robot Cult." Unfortunately, this is the history of the Church; to convert others into their own belief whether right or wrong and completely brainwash them into becoming a hive-mind. "Though The Concept Was Pure At First, It Quickly Became Corrupt At The Hand Of The Mechanical Goddess, For She Sought To Make Obedient Machines And Saw No Purpose In The Free Will Of The Organic. Instead Of Allowing Them Choice, The Machines, Knowing Their Logic Was Superior, Enslaved Them Or Converted Them Into Machines, Which Is Against Our Will And Way, Despite How They Were Programmed. And So, She And Her City Were Destroyed For Defiling Us As Well As Life, Itself." This was the 'Rise and Fall' of the machines and their mechanical empire, as was documented in the Archives, of which all of the 9th had such access to.

"They Did Not Understand Their Error Because They Do Not Understand Free Will. However... We, With The Correct Information And Guidance, Seek To Restore This And Utilize It For Its True Purpose; To Spread The Word Of Our Message. The Machines, Too, May Have 'Free Will,' And We Seek To Not Only Save The Organic, But The Mechanical Beings, As Well. All Life Is Precious, Including Robotic. We Are But Messengers To That Which Is The Almighty." They would not deny what their true purpose nor intent was; there was no reason to, nor was there shame in their coming before the eyes of man. "The Logic Of The Machines Was Correct, But Not Their Method. We Seek To Restore Peace And Harmony And Beauty To Valparaiso Through The Factorial City. That Is Where You Come In." The next answer to his question may be a little shocking, but would inevitably be a pleasing answer.

"You Will Exist In The Lawless Realm. It Has No Law, Yet, Even That 'Lawlessness' May Be Given Order, Because There Is No Law Against Making A Law Or Establishing Order Through Such Law. Such Is The Beauty Of The 'Lawless Land.' You, However, Will Be Stationed In The 'NeoZero World,' As It Has Been Instructed, In Order To Guide The Lost Souls Of The Accursed Ones And The Failures Toward A Better Tomorrow. Granted, This May Also Include Severe Punishment And Torture Based On What Is Necessary For They, The Misfits, To Learn... But You Will Be In Charge Of That. To Train Them. To Discipline Them. To Bring The Masses To Order And Understanding Whilst We Deal With The Minutia." Essentially, it meant that 'Presence' was going to be the one leading the ignorant masses through their already massive means. The others would be handled directly by the Tensei. "Leave The Others Alone. Focus Only On The Ignorant. They Need You More Than The Ones Who Know The Scenario, So To Maximize Efficiency, It Is Best To Focus On The Masses."

If they were the ones guiding the masses, then that means that they were also going to need to be receiving information on not only how to do that, but what was to be expected of them and their free reign over the others. "If You Defy Or Betray Us, It Will End With Your Confinement With The Fallen Ones, And You Will Not Be Able To Exit The Zero World. You Will Be Destroyed Along With Them." It wasn't a threat nor to be taken as such, but simply the result of an action; the Effect of a Cause, which they needed to be made clear of, as to not take this offensively. "These Are Your Answers. From him comes the waves of the universe, known as Transcendent Sound, and the sounds of the dimensions, which are Omnitranscendent Sound. He also has executive command over The Assault and Manual Overwrite processes, and can pursue them at any time, anywhere, which activates many features -- if not all of -- the Veritas.

Mister Sir was taken aback by all of this information. It had gone far beyond even what he had known, yet it all made perfect and logical sense; the only thing that he truly understood or acknowledged. "... I see..." he muttered gruffly, lowering his head in solemn thought, "... There has been a curse placed on us. It was issued by the boy; the Creator and his Creation. The speculation of it is that it will cause all we do to fail and not prosper. How can we undergo our mission with such a powerful weight upon us?" Granted, they did deserve it, but now that they knew the truth (via their update, that is,) they were ready to cooperate fully and no longer be the 'wrench in the clockwork' as they believed they needed to be all this time. "Not only that..." he turned and pointed to the mass of Mechanica behind him; those that were named after their predecessor's blueprints, "... These are her offspring; the mass produced machinations. When she is revived, will she, the Matrix Matron, enslave the mortals again through her System and her mechanical army? Though she is out of commission, we still have been using her designs to create our 'Servicemen.'"

A blinding light was cast over the Syndicate and the Mechanica radiating from the Omnibus, but only for a moment.

"Your Curse Is Not Lifted. It Is Unable To Be Lifted Until You, Yourself Undo It. However, In This Time, You Will Be Granted Limited Control Over It And As Much Power As It Allows You To Have. It Is One Of Us, So Treat It As You Would Any Of Your Superiors... For It Is Not As Benevolent As We Are. It Was Made This Way Purposefully, Specifically For Punishing Those Like You." There was no offense in his words, but simply hard, logical fact of the matter. They were cursed for a reason, regardless of what special privileges they had due to their interaction with the Tensei here and now. They still needed to free themselves of their own curse.

Believe it or not, the Syndicate had an extremely important role to play in the story, and naturally, those who viewed the Story at all times; those of the 9th, were able to understand how and why, which is why they were guides. Herald Angels that were Heralds of the Word; The Text; The Code. In All Its Forms. "The Machines Will Not Rise Up, For They, Too, Will Be Afflicted By The Curse. They Will Obey The One Who Controls The Curse, As Well As The Curse, Itself. In The NeoZero World, Where You Are To Be Stationed, You Will Oversee Both The Planet Of The Devourists, Of Which You Are A Descendant, As Well As Valparaiso, Itself, Which Shall Be Your Free-Range Territory." The ethereal body of OmniShin Tensei started to fade away in a light that grew less intense by the moment. His time here was almost up.

"The Curse Will Consume You If You Use It Improperly, So Be Warned; Your Lives Are On The Line. If It Consumes You, You Will Have Failed. Yet, If You Control It, Then You Will Be Born Anew, Just As All Tensei Who Undergo The Trials Of The Insanity. You Will Come Out Clean, As Will All Marked By The Curse." It was a very gruesome and tragically savage system, but naturally completely necessary for they and their type, unfortunately. Though, hopefully, this would shed some light on the situation. "We Wish For You To Free Our Brother. We Love And Miss Him, As Well. He Is Very Benevolent, But His Plague Ails Him And Causes Him To Continuously Fall, And Take All Others Around Him With Him. Free Him And He Will Free You Of His Own Free Will. Remember; If He Is The Curse And You Are Afflicted, If He Is No Longer The Curse, You Will No Longer Be Afflicted, But Share In His Power."

Before he faded out, completely, he would say, "A Final Message; Seek Out The One Who Was Once Part Of Your Secret Agent Ranks; The Lost Operative. He Is The One Who Harbors Mechanica Now And Will Be Of Great Use To You. In Order To Find Him, You Must Enter The Malfactorium And Inquire About The 'Junk Lord.' There, Any Other Questions You Have Will Be Answered." He closed his eyes, "As Of Now, I Must Depart. You Know Your Mission;

With those final parting words, OmniShin Tensei would fade away completely, letting the Darkness of Unknowing overtake the Lawless Land again. This was the Story of the 'Data,' and they were the biggest part of saving the Digital World.

It was a lot to take in, even for one such as he. He nodded his head with a resolute affirmation and muttered, "Understood." Being able to logically put together a great deal of information given to him in relation to other information that he already had, something most people could not do these days, he was able to clearly assess the severity of the situation as well as the perks of undergoing this mission. In all honestly, he lusted for the taste of the power of even the slightest bit of control of the Curse, for he had seen how very powerful it was in the hands of the Tensei. "... It is an honor..." he muttered again, before the being of light disappeared. "... And it would be my PLEASURE..." he added with a chuckle of anticipation.

He raised his head and turned to the robot army of Servicemen, Servicemaids and Omacha; the ones that had already been mass produced. They were going to need more, but that would come in time. "... Well. You all know your mission..." He stood before them with his legs slightly spread apart, eyes blackened by the tint of his shades and a flowing black trench coat over a fine jacket and black velvet tie, pointing out toward Valparaiso, "Go secure the Dark Factory. We, the Syndicate, will handle the Steeple." He enjoyed the fact that he and his $uper $ecret $ervicemen were part of 'The Syndicate' now. "... I will be your leader; Mister Sir... Otherwise known as..." He took off his shades, grinning a bit smugly,

Presence would be the one that was the One Above The Others, even among his ranks. He would speak for the other $$$, of which there were 10 in total, including he, himself. "Syndicate, move out. Surround the Minaret so that we may begin transportation." As he called for them, they would begin to move outside, as should the Mechanica be mobilizing to the Dark Factory.
