| From one of the Trap Doors that were under the Funhouse, an Agent of the Dollhouse would appear, with the Puppet King and his Puppets following behind. They would enter what looked like a jolly carnival with many people that were in ornate and bright clothing with many accessories and much makeup on. Some were wearing masks and some were wearing marked suits. "This way," the Agent called out into the Trap Door, for anyone that was following him to come up out of the Traphouse along with him. "When I shut the door, it seals itself up. So no dawdling." He waited to see if he was being followed, and, if those that were part of the Traphouse attempted to emerge, he would shut the Trap Door to keep the sanctity of the Funhouse intact. "This is the Funhouse," the Agent would start to say to the Puppet King that was following behind him. "Be careful that you don't get stuck in a Game here, because those can take a long time to solve and win." There were also many other factors that came with playing a game in the Funhouse that they did not have time for if they were trying to escape. "I will escort you out. Don't follow the Court Jester, even if he approaches." The Master of Ceremonies, which the Court Jester was, had a game of his own going involving the Jokers that imitated him. The Agent, however, kept on moving and did not pay any mind to the fun and games and celebration and cheer and happiness that occurred, due to prior conditioning.

| The Puppet King and the remainder of his men would emerge from the trapdoor that they were shown out of by the Agent that they were following, only to find that they were in some sort of fun house, of sorts. From how it looked, it seemed like a carnival or something. "Uh?" He was confused, not understanding how there could be such a fun and cheerful place just beyond that horrible terrible darkness down below. Not that he was complaining, it was simply just a matter of shock; perhaps, even culture shock, since he was once just a normal Valparaiso Denizen and not the Puppet King of his own band of Puppets. They were all rather confused. "What is this place?" he asked, interested now in the delightful behavior of everyone else. "Do they... Know about that Traphouse?" That was the first reason why he believed they were so happy; they just didn't know what was underneath them, and perhaps, no one had ever told them that something foul was going on right under their noses. Hopefully, the Agent would explain everything. The Puppet King that was led out of the Traphouse along with his Puppets that were still following along would be surprised and somewhat startled at the jarring transition from a deathtrap to a bright and colorful party. The sudden transition, nearly on command was quite traumatizing, because of how swift the shift was, as if a higher power were commanding and had command over such events and how they could play out. The Puppet King was somewhat terrified at the changes, but the comfort of the happy environment was pleasant and soothing. He was at a loss of words, puzzled, trying to figure out everything that was going on, but made sure not to lose the Agent that had gotten them out of the Traphouse. | |

| Before they lingered too long and attracted some attention, and gravitated the entire Funhouse centered around them and become lost in all of the Puzzles and Games and many other things that went on once they were both noticed and made as the Center of Attention, the Agent would immediately walk toward the nearest exit without batting an eye, and left the door open behind him. | With no time to lose nor to waste, and with the warning of the Agent fresh in the mind of the Puppet King, who would not ignore it due to what had just occurred in the Traphouse, the Puppet King would make a mad dash for the door while it was left open and speak to no one, but closed the door behind he and his friends so that the people in the Funhouse couldn't follow them. He was afraid that something like what happened in the Traphouse would happen if the doors were not closed behind them as they moved. | |

| No sooner had the Puppet party left would the doors that were left open to the Funhouse come to a close, with a jesterly looking figure adorned in a large hat that was like a flopping crown and a myriad of colors being the one to close it behind them.
"Well, isn't that unfortunate?" he began, starting what seemed would be a soliloquy as he locked the Funhouse door, whose key only belonged to he, himself. "Our special guests didn't want to stay for cookies and tea!" The jester sighed heavily, lowering his head dramatically. "Oh, woe. Sad times." Throwing a hand over his head and also throwing his head back equally as dramatically, the jester would start to pretend to sob.
"YET!!!" he cried, suddenly springing into a burst of emotion, "This does not stop the fun fun fun fun fun~!!!" Twirling around gleefully, the bells on his hat and adorned across his neck jingling and jangling to and fro as he did so, the Court Jester, the host of the Funhouse, would spiral into the horde of Jokers that were dressed nearly exactly or at least similarly to him, becoming lost in the crowd of them rather immediately. The Jokers all cheered at their Court Jester, and would lift him up into the air. "EVERYBODY! I have good news~!" Of course, whenever their Court Jester was pleased, it always meant good times for the rest of the Funhouse. Be it a new game or a new extension, or even just a new way to have fun and party, it was all thanks to the Court Jester that these things were done. Therefore, when he was prepared with something new for them, even if the guests had left, they would all raise him up so that they could see and hear what was in store.
Jokers: What is it?! A new game?! More tricks?! More fun!?
The Court Jester laughed "YES ALL OF THE ABOVE!!!" He stood atop their hands and, with an eerie coordination and balance that seemed to only be able to occur with the free flowing energy of the Funhouse, he would walk atop them and begin explaining his new master plan. "Now, Jokers, is the time for us to really show our worth to the inhabitants of the Funhouse and all the cute little dollies bored with their everyday life. You, too, who are bored with the mundane and in need of something fresh and new have come to the right place today on this day!" Then again, they were always in this place.
"COME! Follow me into the Cardhouse, and I will set up the dominoes!!!" Though his erratic speech was uncommon for those who were not gamers or Funhouse residents, to them, they knew exactly what the reference meant, and were more than pleased to carry the Court Jester into the Cardhouse to see what he had in store. | |
