The Depthsroot Residents that were injured in the devastation of the community were in their hospital beds. Given the circumstances and lack of resources, there weren't enough to go around, unfortunately. There were few medics that had great knowledge on how to assist the vast number of people, since a great portion of the city that was destroyed also took out some of the more capable of the medical workers that were experienced in the field. Unfortunately, the tragedy took many people and great sacrifices on many ends, including in the treatment of those in the Hospital at the time. The medics worked as they could to tend to the residents of the village, but not all could be saved. Everyone did their best, but those who had more serious injuries either had to be treated first with what was had or could not be treated at all, which led to their misfortune or untimely end. Many hard, tough decisions had to be made for the greater good, but if they weren't made, then no one would survive. Some people needed to be tended to as priority, even if their injuries were less severe only so that there could be room made in the hospital, instead of keeping them confined and having them take up space just because there was someone with more serious injuries. The qualified did what they could, and that was the best that could be done.
