Baby Evil Chapter 5; Triggers

After Baby Evil fully secured the Trap Rooms that it had drawn its prey into, then it would begin to lock down each of the Trap Rooms more thoroughly and thin out the numbers of its own isolated Trap House inside of the Traphouse.

Those that even neared the proximity of any of the triggers to the traps in the Trap House triggered something within them that caused another trigger to occur.

Once the target was apprehended by being both led into and drawn into the middle of the Traphouse, the other 'Triggers' would be set off, some of which were automatic lockdown and lockup features and the others of which were manual or triggered manually, even by the one that triggered it and not by the one that set it up.


Even the least of the 'Trigger' features would create an autonomous sequence that could possibly activate another one at any given time which would set off the wakeup of Baby Evil, which had also set up -certain- triggers specifically for itself and would certainly lead back to it and awaken it.

The first set of crackles were of 'Insanity Static' jolting all the way into a light ignition and burnout before the eyes of Baby Evil in order to draw its attention. It had longed for this day.


Just the breeze alone bore the scent of what triggered the trap which was both only to brush past it, but also withdraw the scent of the trespasser with the snap of the wind.


It was already awake.

The sound of the DOOMS bore closer, growing ever louder and also apparently resounding in several different directions in a similar fashion as before, yet this time in a more distinct cacophony than the first, seeming to bear less discord and residual resonance; loud thuds like thunder echoed from what seemed to be several corridors all at once, though in disjointed disorder like that of a series of crushing blows to the ground.

Among the discord, another trap sprang due to one of the variable 'Triggers' which were previously set off.

The discord did not stop nor was there any recognizable alarm that would alert anything beyond the discord.

By the time each of the variable 'Triggers' were sprung inside of the 'Traphouse' and Baby Evil, which had been crawling around inside of what seemed to be like ventilation inside of the Traphouse, itself, like a rodent, instead of actually participating in any of the Triggers or Sequences, themselves, yet moving to its own independent algorithm that did not interfere nor interact with the others going off around it. Its propulsion was totally propelled by the 'Spring'ing of the several other 'Traps' in the Traphouse that brought it to a distinct point wherein which it had control over the area.

The prey that was led deeper inside so that Baby Evil could track it back to the spot where it was led into in order for it to both secure points for joints in its on large body as a growing Traphouse and also in order to once again isolate the one which was being drawn further into the 'Foreign' or 'Unknown' territory in order for Baby Evil, itself, to capture the land and mark it as its new 'Territory,' shifting the 'Terrain' as it pleased for its own full extension and encroach upon enclosure.
