Dr. Professor was born some 20 years ago to a prominent village which was, like most others mentioned, unnamed. His family was of a long line of rulers, and he was next in line. But something wasn't quite right... When examined, they noticed he had no potential energy, nor any trace of it in his body. Of course this caused a massive uproar, wondering how he would ever be powerful enough to do anything of any importance. Yet, they loved him anyway, in hopes that he would grow in potential.
Years passed, and the boy grew. The boy still showed no signs of any potential energy inside him, but he had a growing interest in the workings of many sciences -- especially those that were beyond him. He was seen as a commoner, but still took the time to study. Whatever was within his realm of capability, he would do. Still, he grew nothing in terms of any potentiality, though his skill seemed to be more in refinement of what was available to him -- not any type of growth or potentiality.
Thus, in retrospect, Dr. Professor grew up to be one who handled the refinement of OTHER peoples' potentials, and was sought out near and far for this skill, despite him not being capable of doing anything else. He was still very well-respected, and contented with his usefulness at all.
He constructed and invented many little trinkets, both as toys for children and as handy tools for everyday use. He eventually started constructing items that enhanced the abilities of their user, such as thin layered, but strong skin-armor, and light shoes with speed enhancers at the bottom. He soon realized how resourceful these items could be, in the right hands. | |
