| Description A forest eternally lit aflame by the Great Fire itself, though they never seem to actually burn; only shine like candles. This is the boundary marker between the Land of Eternal Rain and the Wildfire Woods, which is the border between Nautilus and the Corona Badlands. The tops of the trees make a huge array of flickering flames that resemble candles, and seem to illuminate a large portion of the Corona Badlands. They are known to change colors and change their intensities at will, but the trees are never burnt away, even if the forest decides to burn away everything else. Perhaps, these trees are what produce these flames... History The land was originally all woodland, however at the birth of the Magnus Ignis, the fires burnt away all of the trees in that specific vicinity and the flaming trees marked the border of the tropical Land of Eternal Rain and the cindered Wildfire Woods that separated Nautilus and Magnus Ignis. The only clearing within the Wildfire Woods is indeed where the lair of the Great Flame, Magnus Ignis, once lived. | |

| Burning Woodlands Smoldering fires lit atop the trees like candles, never ceasing and whose colors and intensity vary among the woods. The sparks, flares and ashes are all quite hot, and pose a threat to those who stroll without caution. The flames on the trees seem to have a will of their own at times. Incandescent Depths The depths of the Wildfire Woods where the trees are thickest and the heat is most intense. Many are known to see hallucinations here that are made from the sweltering heat, as well as the consciousness of the flames atop the trees. Many come here in order to temper their spirits and their minds in the blazing heat, facing their inner fears and cleansing their inner demons with the flames of the trees guiding them. | |
