The Veritas War; Dream

An enormous holographic screen the size of the entire Central City of the Delta with the Me-ou's face upon it.

"All Who Are Seeking Combat With The Tensei, Let The Royal Family Come Upon You And Your Might Be Tested." Shiniere the Me-ou was, of course, sitting in the holographic projection room. This meant that she was broadcasting to everyone in the Veritas at the same time from her superposition in space, thus allowing them to see via projected holographic screens.

"I Dare ANYONE," the Tsukihime of the Dream World said, "ANYONE To Try To Touch My Crown Or My Husband." An enormous visual of the Tsukihime appeared over the entire Central City of Mysteria, Grim Nytoz, and narrowed her eyes. They flashed like they were about to fire a laser from them or something.

There were many fables and legends existing in the supernatural world that believed that they were more powerful than the Queen. They believed that she got her power from the King, who was more powerful than they were. It was only because she was also a Fae that they were at all hospitable toward her; she did things for all supernatural beings. She was loved and revered as a Queen and a Goddess, but as an actual challenge, she was seen differently. It was her political mind, not her offensive mind, that had them enraptured.

Yet it did not stop the Nytozins from making moves to take down the Tsukihime.

"Fee-Fie-Foe-Fum," said a giant who was the size of the Tsukihime, "I smell weakness like a human!"

The Nytozins giggled, awaiting a chance to get a crack at fighting the Tsukihime.

The Tsukihime wasn't having any of this rebellious nonsense before her. In fact, she needed to remind them why she was Queen AND Goddess of the Dream World. "Uh, HELLO?! Did You All Forget That I Am The Heiress To The ENTIRE Dream World? AND It's Goddess?! Where Do You Come Off Going Against Me? I'm Not Originally A Tensei -- I'm One Of You, In Case You Have FORGOTTEN." She snapped her fingers and the giant went POOF!

And was gone.

"Phantasmagoria..." the Tsukihime said with a threatening voice, snapping her fingers and causing a line of supernatural creatures to suddenly be turned back into Creative Energy, from whence they came -- the imagination. She then absorbed the energy as Phantasmagoria, causing Tsuki to grow larger and more powerful, until she towered over the entire Dream World as a cosmic entity. Her eyes gleamed brightly as she screeched, "NEXT?!" Cracks appeared in the ground as a symbol of bad luck, and much Salt rained from the sky; Tsuki's -- rather, Friday's -- original power to control bad luck as she saw fit.

All hell was about to break loose.

After watching their friends go 'POOF' in a line and turn back into imaginary folktale energy, the Nytozins were immediately obedient to their Queen and Goddess as well as the Tensei once again.

"Nope, not me, nope," they all started saying in clamor as calamity ensued with cracks in the ground and the sky rained salt. Some of them disappeared anyway, to be forever forgotten -- the worst nightmare of any myth or folktale creature. They would no longer have their feed from people believing in them and using their Creative Energy to power themselves. "Please forgive us, O Tsukihime! We were ignorant!"

They made up all types of excuses, but ultimately pleaded for their lives, no longer wishing to war with the Tensei nor with their Tsukihime.

"Damn Straight," Tsuki said, crossing her arms and blowing her hair from out of her face. "And Don't Let It Happen Again!" After those words, Tsuki's image faded away, save for gleaming eyes that mimicked the stars, as if signifying that she were still watching.

But, the war was over, even if Tsuki was going to punish them for their insolence even more later on.

And so, life went on in the Veritas.
