Sword Art

After Maruze merged with his dark self and became balanced, his Sword Magic grew to become something greater; its completed form and true power of Sword Art. It is a special Kenjutsu that allows for him to wield any weapon with the discipline of the Way of the Sword, which he thereby projects as the Art of the Sword in whatever item he is using at the time, changing it into a wieldable edge for him. Also, he is capable of using his sword in any artistic way possible as well as in any art form there is through direct control of the energy flow.

Sword Art Techniques
Many different techniques, stances and forms that are the basic structural foundation of the Sword Art.

Iai/Iainuki (Relic/Relic Slash); The most ancient of all sword techniques, that which delivers swift and instantaneous death or destruction of the target in just one decisive blow. It cleaves through all in its path.

Glass Cutter: Maruze is able to literally shatter any solid substance as if it were glass. In reality, this blade actually destroys all structure of any solid object it cuts, whatever those structures may be (dimensional, physical, etc.). With these shattered pieces, he may either convert them into soul energy/chakra or launch them at the foe for heavy damage. (Jikukan Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Ninjutsu)

Viper Strike: Maruze takes a stance that allows him the swiftest movement as well as the best perception, giving him the ability to literally decipher the movements or composition of anything around him. As such, when something enters his striking range, he strikes with lightning speed before reactionary time is implemented between the two of them, therefore Maruze strikes before he, himself even knows about it. Alternatively, Maruze can utilize Sword Magic to cause blades to shoot up straight out of the ground of an incredibly size and proportion at insane speeds. (Taijutsu, Ninjutsu)

Scorpion's Sting: Utilizing the same technique as with the Viper Strike, instead of Maruze striking anything close range, Maruze will literally throw his sword at lightning-fast speeds and pierce through his target before they can react and before he can realize what he has already done. Alternatively, Maruze can utilize Sword Magic to attach his own energies into the blades as strings. Whatever passes these strings will not only be alerted by Maruze, but also will be targeted by the other blades, which will relentlessly attack the foe. Maruze can choose when he wants to use the strings and when he does not, however. (Taijutsu, Ninjutsu)

Sword Magic
The most basic strain of the Sword Art, and the first known to Maruze, Sword Magic is literally the power to draw in, embed or generate magical energy into a weapon based on what Maruze has learned. Though it is transformed into a magical energetic form, it originates in chakra form before conversion and thus counts as a Jutsu instead of Magic. Its properties are not altered by this (for example, Fire Blade retains all of the natural properties of fire, even though it is magical energy). Because of its magical properties, its potential is limitless. Maruze may learn new Sword Magic through nature, elemental attributes, or status afflictions. (All Sword Magic is Kenjutsu, however, but it may have properties of another form of Jutsu, like Ninjutsu or Taijutsu, etc.) He is known to frequently shape his blades' auras in the forms of paintbrushes, as well as other tools of art.

Houken (Fire Blade); Jounetsu no Akai (Passion of Red)
The Blade of Fire, also known as simply 'Jounetsu,' 'Red, 'Akai, ' "Red Passion,' or 'Passion.' It immortalizes the samurai's deep and burning passion and love and continuously generates flaming energy of variable types from the blade of variable intensity to coat the blade. The flaming energy pouring from the blade is extensible and able to be controlled by the user in any way they deem fit, such as to increase or alteration of temperature, concentration or composition, for example. When formed, its outline tends to resemble a red paintbrush with a closed rosebud for the brush.

-Burning Blade; Sakura (Cherryblossom): A derivative of the Fire Blade. It is also known as 'Sherry' (and the many different variant spellings of 'Sherry).' Rather than generating and projecting the energy of the Fire Blade outward, the blade itself becomes the flaming energy it once only projected from its physical form. Though it harbors all of the same properties of the Fire Blade, as the Burning Blade grows in power as it burns things, able to burn away whatever it touches. It does this by drawing in and converting the energy of what it burns into more of its own, as though the flames themselves burn and eat away at energy itself. It is able to spontaneously combust whatever it touches, including the air itself.

-- HanabiraBara (RosePetal); A substrain of the 'Burning Blade.' They are also known to be called by simply saying 'Blossom,' 'Hana.' To call a collection of them or create a multitude rather than just one, he may say 'Bara.' The flares released from the Burning Blade detach from the original point and sustain shape form beyond the blade. Wherever they are detached, these flares hover in place, waiting to be moved only to the will of the user of the Burning Blade technique. Though their form is capable of being altered, they are frequently made akin to fiery rose petals. They are capable of being manipulated in the same ways as the Burning Blade itself and serve as detached extensions of it. (Ninjutsu)

-Heat Blade; (Kuin)Ganetto no Kenshin ((Queen) Garnet's Devotion): A derivative of the Burning Blade, and is a mixture of the Fire and Wind elements. It is known by the name of 'Queen Garnet,' 'Garnet', 'Kouhi', 'Queen' and simply 'Kenshin.' Rather than become fire itself, the blade condenses the heat it projects into a concentrated form, making it bear semblance to a Lightsaber. This potent Sword Magic can be any type of heat or raise itself to any temperature, concentration or condensation. Bearing similar traits to the predecessor Burning Blade, it is capable of drawing in the heat of anything it touches and causing its own to grow. It is known to change colors proportionate to the intensity of its heat. Because of this, when it collects heat to burn, the air around it becomes very cold and it creates a ghastly blue hue. This color alters to match the intensity and composition of the heat. It is capable of generating spontaneous explosions or implosions of superconcentrated heat and shoot out heat beams. (Ninjutsu)

Water; Mujitsu no Aoi (Innocence of Blue)
Known also as 'Blue Innocence,' 'Innocent Blue,' 'Aoi/Ao,' 'Blue,' 'Innocence' and 'Mujitsu.'

Ice Blade: Magically chills the sword so that it can become colder than the arctic, having a preset and maximum temperature of Absolute Zero, regardless of the temperature it is in. This blade has the ability to freeze or freeze over damn near anything that it comes in contact with. The Ice Blade releases an icy steam from it with the same properties and abilities constantly, and as such, it is constantly releasing a mist that freezes all molecules it comes in contact with. It has an array of icy abilities, such as releasing pure pulses of freezing force or spontaneously creating ice spires or freezing shockwaves from the ground. Instead of being susceptible to heat, with the power of magic, this sword has the ability to absorb heat and transform it into coldness. (Ninjutsu)

Snow Blade; Velvet Blanket: A sub-variety of the Ice Blade. Attained by mixture of Ice and Wind. Through magical intent, the sword becomes white and frosty, releasing an icy steam similar to that of the Ice Blade. This blade focuses more on the mix of Ice and Wind, thus creating snowstorms and powerful freezing blizzards at subzero temperatures. It can cover an entire surface area in nothing but snow and sustain that snow. Also, through magical properties, as long as the Snow Blade is active, any snow created by it cannot be melted, however once the blade is inactive, the snow becomes normal. Also, through magical inclination, Maruze can instantaneously travel through any snowy or icy surface by any means necessary (digging underground, passing through it, combining with it, etc.) Finally, the Snow Blade allows the crystallization of air and water molecules in the air, causing them to become sharpened snowflakes of doom. Hail Storm; Diamond Determination: An icy ability signature to Maruze's Ice and Snow blades. If used with both blades together, both effects of the blade come into play. This ability may only be used if one or both of the blades are active at that point in time. (Ice Blade) With magical inclination, the blade generates an infinite and continuous amount of ice shards that are incredible slender and sharper than steel, able to ride the wind with no wind resistance and slice through even the toughest of materials. In an alternative attack, these ice shards may rain endlessly from the sky in the same fashion. Their maneuverability is superb, and Maruze can control each and every one to the very T. (Snow Blade) With magical winds and snow, the sword generates a continuous, compacted blizzard in the form of a tornado. It not only freezes the air and any molecules that are near or get sucked into it, but also accumulates frozen molecules to create clods of magical snow/ice. These clods literally freeze everything they touch on contact. The intensity, size, destructive power and suction of this blizzard may be increased or decreased to Maruze's will. Cold Blade; Crystal Clarity: A sub-variety of the Ice Blade. A mixture of Ice and Wind. This potent Sword Magic can be any type of coldness or temperature, colder than ice. In addition to that, it may absorb coldness as well as ice. It can freeze itself and other things within its coldness, making it just as effective on both ends. (Ninjutsu)

Hydro Blade; Poseidon's Pearl: Magical blade powered by water and other liquids. It may take control of water not only that it produces in large quantities, but those already in the area. It may take in liquids to alter its properties to that of those, and absorbs other liquids for power. The more liquid it absorbs, the more powerful this blade becomes.

Wind; Reisei no Gurei (Serenity of Gray)
Known also as 'Gray Serenity,' 'Gray/Grey/Gurei,' 'Serenity,' and 'Reisei'

Air Render; Gin (Silver): Through the use of magic, air, vacuums or energy is compressed at the edge of the blade being used. Thus, whenever the blade is swung, said vacuum, compressed air-force wave pr energy blade is flung from the edge of the sword, negating any any all wind/force resistance. Any forces, regardless of how strong, have no effect on them whatsoever due to their magical properties. However, depending on which one is used determines how they are stopped and what they can do. Regardless, each of them slice through whatever they can at top speed with no resistance from any force. (Ninjutsu)

Electric/Plasma; Netsui no Kiiro (Zeal of Yellow)
Lightning Blade; Golden October (Kintober/Kinjuugatsu): Magically charges sword with electricity on par with lightning. This does not only enhance cutting ability and speed to that of lightning, but also is able to draw in electrical currents into itself to attain more power. It can generate electricity to any power, but it becomes more destructive and unstable the more he does.

Nature; Taihei no Midori (Tranquility of Green)
Plant Blade Chairo (Brown): Using natural Sword Magics, his sword gains the ability to control and spontaneously generate plants of all kinds, but it becomes weak to fire and ice. This blade absorbs light, water and poisons, however. (Ninjutsu)

Psychic; Kaifukuryoku no Murasaki (Resilience of Violet)
Psi Blade (Royal): Powerful Sword Magic which wraps a blade in invisible psychic forces or energies. These psychic abilities are very versatile and random, ranging from your generic psychic force pulses to the more complex distortion of reality and space near or around the blade, or to whatever is cut. It steals mental energies as well and causes disruption to the minds of those around it, or completely shatter the minds of others. It also gives Maruze generic psychic abilities so long as it is active, but they go away once it becomes inactive. (Ninjutsu, Jikukan Ninjutsu, Genjutsu)

Confusion Blade: A sub-variety of the Psi Blade. A disorienting blade that uses the power of magic to alter the perception of the foe and slightly change the properties of reality around the blade and user. There are numerous effects of this blade, such as when cut by it or when within a certain distance of it, bodily disorientation is eminent (for example, the foe may seem as if they are moving at normal speed, but they may actually be moving extremely slowly.) This blade tricks/alters perception, depth, cognition, motion, speed and the like. As such, this blade can also cause mental disarray and other random mental phenomena, such as illusions and 'afterimages' and the lot. Physical contact multiple times may cause one's mind to permanently be altered. (Jikukan Ninjutsu, Genjutsu)

Light; Heiwa no Shiro (White Peace)

Shining Blade of Light; Niji Ho-ou (Rainbow): Magic that will draw in and reflect or absorb all lights that may come in contact with it. It may concentrate the light as sharpened beams from itself, or may be used to make large explosions of pure blinding, shining light. A technique used is that the blade is raised high into the air and creates a magnificent light. This light then shoots about from the blade in all directions and pierces through all shadows and evil, as well as burns through many substances. (Ninjutsu)

Dark; Keikai no Kuroi (Vigilance of Black)
Dark Blade: A blade that is absent of light. It literally draws in and absorbs all light of all kinds in addition to Darkness and shadows. In addition, Maruze's swords are able to phase through solid objects at will, as well as give Maruze that ability. As they phase through solid objects, they leave a sort of energy that leeches and drains energy from whatever is contaminated as well as releases currents that will lock up bodily functions of all kinds. Maruze and his blades may also travel through darkness at will as if they were portals, and also phase in and out of areas as if teleporting. (Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Jikukan Ninjutsu)

Shadow Blade: A sub-variety of the Dark Blade. Mixes both Light and Dark. Using the power of light and dark, Maruze's blade becomes that of a shadow, giving it and Maruze the ability to change from 2 dimensional to 3 dimensional at will, as well as change into, merge with, travel through and control shadows. The Shadow Blade also feeds on darkness and shadows for power. The Shadow Blade may also raise shadows from the ground and stiffen or sharpen them, also being able to alter their shape. (Jikukan Ninjutsu, Genjutsu)

Drain
Bloody Blade: A vampiric magic that allows Maruze to suck/absorb the blood/vitality/energy and chakra/magic/etc. from whatever he cuts, making it twice as deadly. In addition to being able to absorb those properties from whatever is cut, the amount of those things are also transferred back to Maruze, increasing his own power by whatever was drained. In addition to that, it leeches off of whatever it has cut constantly with magical power until it has been completely drained. Therefore, only one cut is fatal, and the amount of how much is leeched is added on with each cut. (Ninjutsu)

Blade of Doom: A malicious blade generated by evil magics. Contact with this blade causes gradual absorption of one's life essence. This evil blade also allows Maruze to summon up evil spirits from the realm of the dead. He may also draw power from these spirits to increase all abilities and how much life essence is absorbed. (Ninjutsu, Kinjutsu)

Support
Oil Blade: Creates a thick, black, oily film around sword OR changes sword into purely pseudo-solid black oil. The sword becomes very slippery and slimy, but still extremely sharp at the same time through the power of magic. When Maruze cuts something solid, its molecular structure is weakened by the Oil Blade. Also, the Oil Blade leaves sticky oily film on everything that it touches. Oil released from the blade can be controlled by Maruze even when it is not touching the blade, however once the Oil Blade is deactivated, any lingering oil in the area does not disappear, but becomes normal oil. Maim Blade: Using magical inclination, Maruze's blade becomes 10,000 times more powerful than it originally was, thus increasing all aspects of it as well (such as speed, durability, etc.) This blade is so powerful that when it cuts, it can slice through molecules and atoms, even so much as to erase them from the very air. In addition to that, its power continues to grow even past its original x10,000 power boost, and literally doubles its own power above the strongest thing that has touched it. Therefore, if something more powerful than it is to touch it, it will adapt and double its own power so that it may always overpower the most powerful thing that had touched it. (Nintaijutsu)

Super Blade Rush: Sword magic that increases the speed of the swords to allow them to fly at the speed of a bullet. (Nintaijutsu)

Hyper Blade Rush: Combines the magics of Super Blade Rush and Shining Blade of Light, which allows and his swords to move at light speed. In addition, he may render and literally slice through light itself, and make slashes at light speed as well. (Nintaijutsu, Jikukan Ninjutsu)

Blade-Man Combo: With powerful and potent Sword Magic, Maruze fuses himself with his own blades, able to spontaneously jut the sword blades out of his body at random, making his entire body a weapon. In addition to this, his bones and skin take on the properties of his weapon. He may use any of his other abilities while like this without any repercussions. (Taijutsu, Collaboration Ninjutsu.)

Blade-Man Form: A sub-variety of the Blade-Man Combo, in which Maruze uses his powerful and potent Sword Magic to change his swords into copies of himself. These copies will still have the properties of the sword and any Sword Magic embedded within them active, however they will be exact replicas of Maruze, making it almost impossible to tell them apart. They are also very durable, however they lose form when they are hit with a powerful blow. (Bunshinjutsu)

Status Effect
Stun Blade: Sword surges with a magical, paralyzing energy current. Note that this current is NOT electricity, however due to its magical properties, it can use any solid or liquid as a medium to travel through. It may stun not only physical attributes of something, but also mental attributes of a living being. Also, with magical properties, it can temporarily cause any objects in motion to pause for a moment or two before continuing. If physical contact is made with this blade multiple times, the power of the magical current increases continuously each time it hits the target. (Ninjutsu, Chakra Flow)

Sleep Blade: A blade sustaining a magical energy that causes all conscious or sentient beings that touch the blade to fall into a deep slumber. Due to the magical properties of the blade, multiple strikes with the Sleep Blade will not awaken the foe from their deep slumber, however will still cause them physical harm of any and all kinds as well as keep the foe in a state of deep slumber. However, any other outside forces will awaken the foe, unless they are still being touched by the Sleep Blade. The Sleep Blade, due to magical enhancements, is a painless blade, meaning any cuts and slashes it makes are painless. (Ninjutsu, Genjutsu)

Slow Blade: A unique blade that uses magic to allow the control of the time-space around the blade and able to control the speed of the time-space of anything it cuts. Naturally, the time-space around the blade becomes extremely slowed down to literally any slowness of Maruze's will, though the blade itself and the speed that Maruze swings, or even Maruze, himself it does not get affected. Therefore, the blade doesn't affect Maruze or itself at all, only everything else and what it touches. Whatever is within a certain radius of the blade is slowed down significantly, and whatever is cut by this blade will be slowed even when not within that certain radius of the blade. Naturally, once cut, the time-space of the target is slowed to Maruze's will, even if it is tried to be increased back to normality by the original caster. Naturally, the use of this blade is through magical inclination, and therefore, the time-space around the Slow Blade cannot be sped up, for it has become magically preset to a certain speed. Poison Blade: This blade secretes highly dangerous and magical poisons constantly. A slight cut from this blade can leave you with a great amount of deadly poisons in your body, and the effects of the poison are altered to Maruze's will. Not only that, he may create new poisons through magical means with this blade. In addition, the blade can contaminate any gases, liquids or solids with its poisonous abilities, thus is can secrete poisonous gases or liquids as well. (Ninjutsu)
