Pumpkinhead remained silent, gazing into the blackness of the forest's beyond, where the trees became silver and mirror-like. He heard what Shinity said, but was more concerned about her understanding of the Dawn's nature than about her own right now. She was well aware of herself by now, but knew little about the land that she was supposed to rule over.
"Look," Pumpkinhead finally said, raising a large, bulky, shadowy arm up toward the darkness. There would be a creature out in the wilderness in the distance, it being the first thing that Pumpkinhead wanted to teach Shinity about. "Life Is Meaningful," Pumpkinhead said shortly, "Respect The Life Of The Creatures Here." It would seem that was all he intended to say, but he never lowered his arm from pointing at the creature that was off in the distance.
