Dawn Chapter 4; The Pumpkinhead

As the Fire God, Titus, had left for his excursion, Pumpkinhead and Shinity, his daughter of the Fifth Restriction, appeared in the midst of the Great Forest of the Terra Gris. The trees were tall and thick, and the grass was lush and green. The earth beneath was shiny and silver, which was why the land was known as 'Terra Gris' or 'Silver Earth' region.

With Shinity in arm, he released her as they were in the midst of the forest and said nothing. He waited for the child to speak, herself.

Shinity, the Princess Goddess of the Dawn, appeared with Pumpkinhead, which was a form that her father of the Fifth Restriction, Shinrona, took on from his Sixth Restriction fire form, Titus. This is what she'd come to understand. However, she wasn't familiar with her father's presence as Pumpkinhead, just the same way she was once unfamiliar with his form as Titus. This Pumpkinhead seemed very intimidating and his taciturn nature was rather unsettling to her. Shinity liked to talk and be active. Pumpkinhead seemed to be the opposite.

"Ummm," Shinity hummed, floating toward Pumpkinhead's head with her arms behind her back, "Daddy? What do you have to teach me about the Dawn?" That's what she was told that she was here to learn about. Her time as Goddess of the Delta was short lived because of her youth, but as Goddess of the Dawn, her youth didn't seem to matter... Or, that's how her father was making it seem. "Am I supposed to do something special?"

Pumpkinhead remained silent, gazing into the blackness of the forest's beyond, where the trees became silver and mirror-like. He heard what Shinity said, but was more concerned about her understanding of the Dawn's nature than about her own right now. She was well aware of herself by now, but knew little about the land that she was supposed to rule over.

"Look," Pumpkinhead finally said, raising a large, bulky, shadowy arm up toward the darkness. There would be a creature out in the wilderness in the distance, it being the first thing that Pumpkinhead wanted to teach Shinity about. "Life Is Meaningful," Pumpkinhead said shortly, "Respect The Life Of The Creatures Here." It would seem that was all he intended to say, but he never lowered his arm from pointing at the creature that was off in the distance.
