Plain Walkers

On the Veritas Planet, -- and also spread around the Dimension -- there were groups of people who did not live within the cities that were established for the people, but instead stayed out in the wilderness in their own establishments. Commonly known as 'Nomads', they have their own types of people and government that differentiates them from the masses.


One group of Nomads -- called the 'Plain Walkers' -- traversed the 'Twilight Wilderlands' of the planet, living off of the creatures that spawned from and lived in the Myst. They used Myst for their own means as well, such as rituals or to obtain special powers.

The Twilight Wilderlands are large expanses of plain, barren land teeming with Myst, which is an energy source of the Veritas. There is a jungle and some woodlands within certain areas, but mostly, the terrain is desolate and misty. The Plain Walkers live in a clearing within the 'Mystic Woods' known as the 'Mysterious Plain', where the Myst is heaviest. Here they are protected and sustained by the Myst.

A strange voice and presence unlike any other faced the Plain Walkers. They were skilled at seeing through the Myst, but were not able to make out the threat that seemed to oppose the Veritas Planet.

Immediately, the warriors stepped up, as well as the shamans, who had control over their Manna. They figured that they could locate this voice or presence and defeat it before it caused problems among the Nomads. "Show yourself!" a chief warrior shouted out, "Have you no honor to show your face?"
