It was late. The city was nearly completely asleep. It was a city much like many others; nothing special or defining about it. Just an average city based on... Where is this location?
???: "The Wrong Place At The Wrong Time."
A voice -- but from where?
???: "I Know What Must Be Done."
Whatever was speaking seemed to have its wits about it... But what was it going to do? The sky was dark. People were asleep. The city only stayed alight from those who worked at night, which weren't very many. Not as many as one would like to believe. But those that were awake would hear the voice of this unknown entity as if something spoke into their very minds.
???: "Prepare To Meet Your End."

| Though powerful, Pumpkinhead did not seem swayed by the cosmic forces at work, even when forcefully swayed physically. Even as this astronomical monstrosity, he was still a marble in comparison to some of the other galaxies around... All to his pleasure. "... Once This Languorous And Apathetic Universe Loses Its Cogs, It Will Fail And Collapse Upon Itself, Leaving The Dimension... To Me." Pumpkinhead thirsted for the sweet nectar of satisfaction that would come with the destruction of this dimension, and was already nearing it with every move. He'd killed more than could be counted, most likely, just by swallowing ONE galaxy... That just meant that the REST of them were going to be that much more delicious for him.
Under the light of the galaxies, Pumpkinhead's body of stellar darkness could be seen now, and Pumpkinhead cycled through one he was caught in like a whirlpool. They were all like whirlpools, to be quite honest, but countermeasures could be made toward those encumbering swirls.
Because Pumpkinhead was larger than a lot of galaxies now, this time, he went with the natural flow of the one that he was within, letting himself spin to his heart's content. He went around and around for quite some time before he gained enough momentum to launch himself out of the galaxy and into the next, larger one. The people of the one that he'd circled through were probably dead by the speed of their galaxy suddenly intensifying, but that was all to Pumpkinhead's benefit, as well.
Once within the larger galaxy, Pumpkinhead grabbed hold of one of the larger stars and expended some of his 'Nature Energy' or 'Naturia' into it. This caused that particular large star to become like a pumpkin, having fiery jack o' lantern eyes and a mouth to boot. This was Pumpkinhead using his "Pumpkin Flare," which generated a massive explosive pumpkin out of 'Nature Energy'. As a Force Of Nature himself, it was no problem to tamper with another force of nature with Nature Energy. The 'Pumpkin Flare' -- which was what this star was now -- would detonate in a catastrophic fashion, releasing waves of Naturia in conjunction with the star's own burning energy to wipe out all forms of plant-life within the entire galaxy and then some of the other ones nearby, immediately killing whatever lifeforms survived on plants and oxygen without hesitation. If the fire from the explosion didn't kill them, the lack of plant-life -- and the ability to grow it back -- would.
With that, the galaxies should have been imbalanced and out of whack. The one Pumpkinhead was in should have halted its swirling and other smaller galaxies should have been wiped out altogether. Pumpkinhead sat patiently within the halted galaxy, picking off stars like they were grapes from a vine and devouring them just the same.

| The galaxies of this universe were made like toys to the Pumpkinhead, but not to his advantage. In fact, it was very much to his detriment, despite how he was growing larger and more powerful. There was a being greater than anything in this universe that was just getting ready to start moving, now that it could see that the normal flow of things would not stop Pumpkinhead. Pumpkinhead was a living force of nature, meaning that he could act as any type of natural disaster to anything natural... And probably things unnatural, as well. That's why... Something was sent after him.
A call throughout the entire universe was made, warning motherships of galactic space forces from near and far about Pumpkinhead and his tyranny over the universe. What alerted them was a dip in the activity of the stars, whose electromagnetic forces kept the universe in shape and from collapsing. With the threat of this before them, they would all be alerted simultaneously to the fact that it was already happening. The natural readings of the galaxies being lost at such a rapid rate made a flux in space that showed up to the captains of the motherships.
From here on, Pumpkinhead would have several galactic space forces coming after him to protect the sovereignty of the universe and to uphold the foundations of it. _________________ Transcendental Metaforms; The 'omnicosm' and 'metacosm' of the omniverses. | It didn't take long for the several motherships of the galactic space forces to appear before Pumpkinhead with all of their variable sized vessels nearby, as they had gone warpspeed in order to reach the destination. Sure, all of them using warpspeed at nearly the same time could and should have caused a terrible distortion and possible collapse in the universe, but hey, they made it safely to the danger...
... But they weren't expecting the danger to be so monstrous.
The captains communicated with each other on their own private lines about what they were going to do about Pumpkinhead. Their arsenals were different, as each mothership looked different, but their efforts combined could definitely take out Pumpkinhead, even if he got too large... Or, so they hoped.
"Send in the main forces," the captains commanded, their significantly smaller space armadas opening fire and zooming around Pumpkinhead at hyperspeed. They were about as large as planets and stars, so they weren't very large compared to Pumpkinhead, but they were like ants in number and in tactics; they were going to overwhelm Pumpkinhead with sheer numbers. Quadrillions of forces were all firing at him as he sat in a dying galaxy, each of their shots like a very thin needle being pricked upon the surface of the skin... At least, that's what it was supposed to be with their size and power. All of them together could make Pumpkinhead overwhelmed by their rapid fire and zooming around him. They literally swarmed him as the motherships sat in their respective places and observed...

| The once pleased Pumpkinhead quickly and rather intensely came into his trademark anger, his pleasantry not lasting very long... As it never did. Typically always angry or serious in some way, Pumpkinhead had very few times where he was happy or pleasant... Though there were many times with his wife and scattered about with his family or his homeland, they paled in comparison to just how very much he became pissed.
Feeling the sting of the very annoying minuscule planetary and star-sized ships, -- all in the quadrillions, mind you -- Pumpkinhead saw them as nothing but insects. "Damn Gnats...!!!" Pumpkinhead groaned, swatting a hand and wiping out at least fifty billion of them with just his hand alone. There was a huge gap in the swarm from that, much like when one shoos gnats away. "BURN!!!" The star that was his head glowed and Pumpkinhead breathed in deeply, shouting, "HALLOWEEN DESTROYER!!!" before a stream of almost solidified burning energy the same color as his head burst from his mouth and swept across space, slicing in half galaxies, burning away more than a trillion smaller ships, and even hitting one of the motherships. The blast was so powerful and so large that it literally erased the mothership like a disintegrator cannon would.
There were still a lot of those ships still buzzing around Pumpkinhead even after he used his technique, but he continued to take care of them by swatting at them and shooting more burning energy from his mouth until they were all destroyed... Even the very smallest of them. That would only leave the motherships.

| Though it was a valiant effort, the truth of the matter was that the tiny ships were not enough to take down Pumpkinhead or even be more than just an annoyance to the monstrosity. However, as unpleasant as it was, this was according to the captains' plan.
"Now, while he's distracted!" one of the captains called out to the others, each of them readying their very versatile arsenal of weapons. In truth, whilst Pumpkinhead was busy swatting flies, the motherships were all charging and prepping their high-powered weaponry meant just for threats such as Pumpkinhead. Not all of them were prepared, but someone was ready, and he would launch his attack.
From the bottom of the mothership came a rather immense and intricate looking high-tech cannon of sorts, barrel already brewing with energy as it emerged. "Fire the hyper disintegration cannon!" the captain of that mothership commanded, letting loose the beam that could break down anything to its very atomic structure, virtually destroying it on contact. This should have been a threat to Pumpkinhead and also gave the other captains more time to prepare their weaponry, which were different from the first captain's.
Hopefully Pumpkinhead would be disintegrated.

| The beam was instantaneously met with nothing but a bare spatial claw that blocked out the disintegration beam and seemed to draw the energy into itself, something like a black hole. "Hungry Hand..." Pumpkinhead bellowed, "... Grasp Of Gloom." This technique allowed Pumpkinhead to absorb energy when he touched it, making any form of energy attacks useless against him. He only grew larger and more powerful, and nothing about him was disintegrated. This is because the beam itself was converted from its original state into a state that was able to be absorbed harmlessly.
All hope to destroy Pumpkinhead that way was lost.
"You Guys..." Pumpkinhead grumbled, closing his claw and tightening the spacial fist of his, "Are SO ANNOYING!!!" The solar-pumpkin-headed monster cocked his arm back and shouted, "Pumpkin Arm!" With all of the energy just absorbed by Pumpkinhead, it was directed through his arm like veins with blood coursing through them, causing his fist to glow with a pumpkin-like aura.
The blow was fast -- much faster than one would assume a large entity could deliver in space -- and it made contact with the mothership that attacked, transferring that energy used to try to disintegrate Pumpkinhead into explosive energy that would blow up the entire galactic starship with one swing. The mothership -- if not completely blown to smithereens on contact -- would also be launched far into the depths of space, where its remnants would disintegrate in a fashion similar to how they expected to do to Pumpkinhead.
"IS THAT ALL?!?!" Pumpkinhead shouted, the very voice of the being quaking the space they were in and sending rupturing waves of vibrations toward the other motherships. "Your Measly Lives Are Pathetic! How Dare You Protect What Is Corrupt! You Know Nothing And You Fight For A Cause That Is Wicked!" Naturally, they wouldn't understand Pumpkinhead... Pumpkinhead was RARELY understood... But he knew that they were going to protect their home, regardless of what it was doing. "The Apathy That Comes From Your Universe Is A Stench To Me That Reeks Of Selfish Ambition. You Don't Even Know That Your Apathy Is A Sin!" Whatever he was talking about, it seemed like Pumpkinhead was very passionate about it. "You CLEARLY Have The Technology And Potential To Help And Serve Other Universes. Why Do You NOT?!" That was the last question they would ever hear, for Pumpkinhead already tired of everything that they were doing.
Lifting his arm up, he opened his claw and said, "Life Essence..." and right above his palm, a suction like that of a black hole occurred, but it drew in not what was physical, so the starships would not be moved; it drew in the very lives of what was within its vacuum. With that, Pumpkinhead sought to end their meager lives by sucking them out of their very bodies and into a sphere that he could utilize for energy... Or... Something more deadly. As they may soon find out.

| The awe of the other captains at what happened was quickly sobered by the fact that their very lives were literally being sucked out of them. They could feel the drain, and for some of them, that spelled doom.
"Raise the shields!!" one captain said, a barrier immediately forming around the entire galactic starship. The other captains followed suit, however... Not all of them were fast enough to raise their shields, and thus, every living being on the ship had their lives sucked out of them. Those few motherships that were unlucky enough to experience that fate would then hover silently in space, doing nothing anymore.
"Come in! Come in!!" the other captains yelled, trying to communicate with the other ships. But it was too late. They were already dead. "DAMNATION!!" a captain cried out, slamming his fists upon his chair, "Those were innocent people! How can this monster simply decide what is right and wrong for us?!" Clearly, they listened to what Pumpkinhead had to say, but they disagreed with what he was saying. Trying to communicate before engaging in combat again, the captain said, "We are ignorant of the fact that we can traverse other dimensions. All we can do is travel in our own realm! We... We didn't think it was possible! Please! You must understand before you kill anymore innocents!" The plea sounded sincere, and the captain, deep down, knew that they could not win against Pumpkinhead. Their only hope was reasoning with him... If he was reasonable, that is.

| Pumpkinhead knew he was a reasonable person when the correct logic was applied. Growling, he heard the words of the space captain, yet at the same time, those words fell on deaf ears.
"... You Know What's Best For Yourselves," Pumpkinhead started, narrowing his eyes, "But You're Selfish About It. You Can Go To Other Universes And Use Your Resources To Advance Civilization Across Other Worlds..." Pumpkinhead started to tremble. "... And What Do You Do...?" he asked in a repressed rage, "... You Spend Your Time Hovering In Your Universe, Which Has Already Been Colonized, And Ignoring Other Ones That Are In Need." The way Pumpkinhead saw it, that was something that deserved a beatdown. "... But I'm Not Here To Help You Solve That Issue. I'm Here To End This Place For BEING An Issue..." Pumpkinhead raised his claw bearing the life-stealing orb up to one of the motherships, saying, "It's Your Apathy That Brought This Outcome. You Had No Intention Of Doing Anything For Anyone Until I Came. You Did Not Care About The People Until It Became A Threat To Your Lives. But..." Pumpkinhead gripped his claw tightly, grasping the ball of pure life and cracking it with his grip. "... Death Flare!"
The orb shattered, and there was an explosion unlike any other, similar to the Big Bang. All life within the blast radius would be wiped out, and shields would not be able to protect from the explosion, but in fact be destroyed because of the fact that they were so close to the core. The lives are either then completely disposed of or turned into Life Nectar for Pumpkinhead. The galactic space forces as well as every other living being in that universe would be brought to an immediate death by the flare which contained the very essence of life within it. It absorbed life to grow and extended across the entire universe, drawing in every speck of life that inhabited the cosmos.
They were done for.
"Hruh," Pumpkinhead grunted, "Explaining Myself To Them... How Folly." With a clench of his claw, Pumpkinhead withdrew the explosion back to his hand to create a ball of life essences FAR larger than the first one; all Life Nectar for Pumpkinhead.
*Gulp*
In one bite, Pumpkinhead consumed all life in the universe and let them burn in the everlasting fires of the flames in his head, fueling him and making him grow larger... And more Powerful. "Now... I Just Need To Demolish This Dimension, Since There Is No More Life Here." He started with the cliche galactic space force, slamming into one of them with the side of his fist and knocking it into a string of other ones, simply to crash them together and destroy them simultaneously.

| No life remained in the universe Pumpkinhead wiped clean.
The galaxies were barren, solar systems were failing, and planets were wiped out. However, there was still something that sought to protect the lifeless universe for some reason...
As Pumpkinhead's string of crashing starships came toward one of them, it transformed automatically into an autonomous mech whose size was larger than the other ships. "I cannot let you progress!" The mech said monotonously, "You are a threat to other universes as innocent as this one! I will face you myself and destroy you completely." The mech grabbed all of the crashed starships and assimilated with them, causing its size to grow to a point that would rival Pumpkinhead's at least to some degree. Pumpkinhead may have had all of the life in the universe inside of him keeping him large, but the mech had other starships with variable weapons and abilities that would help it take down Pumpkinhead. "Activating Dimensional Interference Field!" the mech called out, releasing a wavelength from itself that would block Pumpkinhead from being able to travel dimensions. "As long as this field is up, you cannot move. Now, I will face you in direct combat!" The mech, even with all of the upgrades, was only about knee-high to Pumpkinhead, but still large enough to do some damage.
With a blade of unique energy generating from its hand, it would thrust toward Pumpkinhead's leg at the joint, trying to lob it off with a warpspeed strike. He shouldn't have been able to stop something moving at warpspeed... Right?

| Wrong.
Pumpkinhead may not have been able to leave the dimension temporarily, but he sure could do something with the one he was in, especially now that it was barren of life. As the warpspeed strike was seemingly delivered to his leg, the entire structure of Pumpkinhead disappeared as if he were just an illusion.
Pumpkinhead: "I Have More Power Over The Dimensions Than You Could Ever Know."
Words were spoken, but from where?
Everywhere. Pumpkinhead had merged himself with the dimension itself using a technique known as 'Dimensiasynthesis', where he either absorbs or merges with a dimension. As that was done, he was not only everywhere, he was technically everything.
"You've Lost Already," Pumpkinhead said omnipresently, the Dimensional Interference Field shattering spontaneously and leaving a void where it once bordered. Shattered Dimension Energy. "My Original Power Given To Me By My Father Was The Power To DESTROY Dimensions," Pumpkinhead continued to say, cosmic eyes opening up within the universe to glare at the mech, "And That's Exactly WHAT. I'LL. DO." The entire dimension quaked, the Shattered Dimensional Energy void growing larger. It would totally consume the space mech without any hesitation, breaking it down to literally nothingness as it spread across the remainder of the dimension. "Now..." Pumpkinhead bellowed, the dimension still quaking, "To Destroy This Place Completely..."

| ???: "Stop."
Everything happening within the dimension came to cease.
???: "You've Caused Enough Trouble."
A voice...
???: "I'm Impressed That You Made It This Far, However."
What was speaking was unknown for a moment, until the dimension began to repair itself and forcefully eject Pumpkinhead from his merging with it. "I Am A Primeta," the voice spoke clearly, the dimension starting to manifest a being, "I Go By The Name Eternal Dread." The manifestation of Eternal Dread was that of a rolling darkness; an ambiguous sphere clouded by a veil of cosmic smoke. "Now, However, Is YOUR End." Eternal Dread, after repairing its dimension, began to command it to attack Pumpkinhead from all around, just the same as he'd done to the mech that was the guardian before Eternal Dread. "I Rule Over This Dimension. This Universe Is Mine. Though You Have Made It Barren And Damaged It Severely, I Can Rebuild..." The dimension condensed tightly, seeking to crush Pumpkinhead omnipresently, "After I Squeeze All Of The Life You Stole Back Out Of You!" _________________ Transcendental Metaforms; The 'omnicosm' and 'metacosm' of the omniverses. | "Hruh?" Pumpkinhead was confused on how he was ejected from his merge with the dimension, and assumed his original form as a universally large pumpkin-headed cosmic entity within the confines of the dimension. "... Huh..." He listened to the voice of the Primeta speak to him and started to feel the very dimension itself turning against him...
All to its dismay.
"You Shouldn't Have Done That," Pumpkinhead warned, gripping his hand tightly and causing the compressing dimension to crack -- in its entirety. "You Have Dominion Over ONE Dimension," he said, "But My Family And I Have Control Over Them ALL!!!" Squeezing his hand tighter, the compressing dimension would continue to crack, causing leaks in spacetime and the fabric of reality holding the universe together. "As You Should Have Heard, My Specialty Lies In DESTROYING Dimensions... And This Isn't My First Rodeo." Pumpkinhead smirked, smiling for the first time in a while. "Before I Knew Better, I Destroyed Dimensions For Fun. Even Back Then, I Could Handle Something Like You With Ease." Pumpkinhead raised his other hand to reach out to Eternal Dread and attempt to palm it completely, all the while weakening the dimensional structure of the dimension that was trying to compress him. All such compression was leaked out through the cracks, causing the dimensions of the dimension to become unstable. No longer would there be pressure upon Pumpkinhead from the enclosing dimension, but in fact, the cracks would grow more prominent the more it tried to compress... And there would be less space between himself and Eternal Dread, making his job all the easier.

| Eternal Dread screamed with pain as its dimension cracked, feeling its pain as part of it. Before shattering completely by trying to compress Pumpkinhead, Eternal Dread expanded the dimension to a greater size again to lessen the cracks and bring more space, making the cracks smaller by dimensional proportion... And Eternal Dread larger by such proportions. Pumpkinhead's attempt to grasp Eternal Dread was evaded by the entity dispersing into cosmic energy, then reappearing nearby, though now very much larger than Pumpkinhead.
"You Are Powerful," Eternal Dread commended, "But Whilst You Reside In This Dimension, I Still Have Control Over It, Even If You May Share Some Due To Your Heritage." Eternal Dread began to warp the dimension to a point of incomprehensibility, causing its properties to become distorted. Several warped walls of spiraling universal energy spun all around Eternal Dread, making everything unstable. "You Were Upset With My Dimension For Its Apathy To Others. Of Course, None Lesser Than We Would Understand Such A Thing... For I Am Aware Of Other Dimensions." Eternal Dread knew it wouldn't be able to hold off Pumpkinhead for long, and it honestly didn't really feel like trying... Being somewhat apathetic, itself... As was why the people of the dimension were, as well. "You Came To Punish Me, But In Order To Do That, You Had To Destroy The Very Interior Foundation Of My Dimension. Which You Have Done." Eternal Dread narrowed its eyes. "I Warn You Now, This Quest You Are On Is Not Beneficial To Anyone Or Anything. It Is Simply Selfish Destruction. I Did No Harm In Keeping To Myself. In Fact, I May Have Been Doing A Service To The Other Dimensions, Staying Out Of Their Way. It Is You Who Are Doing Harm To What Is Already Peaceful. The Primeta Will Handle Each Other. | Pumpkinhead: "Frankly, My Dear, I Just Don't Give A Damn."
With Eternal Dread literally slipping out of Pumpkinhead's grasp and erecting several barriers made of the dimension, Pumpkinhead could only return to scowling. "Haven't You Been Listening...?" He hated people that didn't LISTEN. Always HAD, always WILL. "... I DESTROY Dimensions..." They never understood what set him off, but when they did, they knew it was trouble after that. "... You Know That With Your Power You Can Do Things For Other Dimensions, But You Selfishly Kept To Yourself. You Understand Why That Is A Grave Sin. I Know You Do." Pumpkinhead raised his fist and literally punched through the dimensional barrier in front of him, leaving a giant gaping void-crack in the midst... Which he promptly stepped through as if walking through an open door, no consequences from the destroyed dimensional space affecting him.
"GREED," Pumpkinhead bellowed, lifting his other arm to smash through the next dimensional barrier, "Is A DEADLY Sin." Without effort, he smashed through it, shattering yet another piece of this realm and leaving it destroyed... And passing through the destruction menacingly. "You Kept To Yourself Because Your Dimension Was Prosperous," Pumpkinhead said, already having known that from the beginning, "But You Failed To Assist Other Dimensions That Are Less Developed." That was the real problem; it was like the rich not helping the poor because they did not interact with each other. But they did. "Primitive Life Does Need To Be Enriched By Its Own Means, I'll Give You That, But The Gods... As... We ARE... Are Supposed To HELP THEM!!!" Pumpkinhead's pumpkin head blossomed with flames, scorching the innards of the dimension it was within and threatening to burn it away with the searing heat. Heat distortions wavered from his head, and, with a vicious headbutt, he bashed through SEVERAL dimensional walls at once.
Pumpkinhead: "YOU JUST WANTED TO SIT AROUND ON YOUR ASS ALL DAY AND CONTRIBUTE NOTHING TO ANYTHING!!!"
The fury of Pumpkinhead had him breaking barriers left and right, and slowly, but surely coming closer to Eternal Dread... As well as destroying the dimension from the inside-out.

| Eternal Dread was starting to fear that its name belonged to the one Pumpkinhead rather than itself... And perhaps, soon it would.
With nothing that could stop the monster, Eternal Dread could only await the inevitable fate of destruction. The more it tried to stop Pumpkinhead, the more Pumpkinhead destroyed the dimension. "To Think..." Eternal Dread said, "... Something That Is Not A Primeta Being So Powerful..."
Eternal Dread, being ore or less apathetic about everything in the long run, would give up already, not even seeking to fight anymore. | Pumpkinhead tore through the dimensional barriers remaining with his claws, rending them completely and tearing up the dimension further as he did so. "Your Apathy..." he said once he got close to Eternal Dread, "... IS EXACTLY WHAT CAUSED THIS TO HAPPEN TO YOU!!!" Without hesitation, Pumpkinhead grabbed Eternal Dread as he wanted to the first time and literally crushed it between his fingers, which would shatter the entire dimension simultaneously. Eternal Dread would be no more, but the dimensional energy that was left from being destroyed would be Pumpkinhead's to feast upon.
Drawing the dimensional energy into his flame, Pumpkinhead grew once again, however now he was in the Void between dimensions -- the Shattered Dimensions. He could easily traverse this realm that was supposed to erase anything it came in contact with, for he had done so before -- and all his life. This was because he had so much potent control over it and himself that his energy did not get disassembled and absorbed into the nothingness, and instead, he controlled the nothingness as a part of himself.
"One Down..." Pumpkinhead muttered, starting forth in an arbitrary direction. Before taking too many steps, he slammed his fist against what seemed to be a wall of void beside him and it cracked open like an egg, easily shattering to pieces. Pumpkinhead found his next dimension to slay... Or... Did he?
"Hm..." Pumpkinhead assessed the dimension thoroughly as he peered through the hole, seeing if its core and its people were corrupt or not. After a moment or two, Pumpkinhead narrowed his eyes and deemed, "This One's Clean," before the shattered barrier between the Void and the alternate dimension closed itself up. "Guess I'll Have To Go Farther In." Pumpkinhead took some more steps, each one like an eternity, yet also a passing instant at the same time.
When he was sure he was deep enough in the Shattered Dimensions, he punched a hole in front of him to an alternate dimension that reeked of evil. "... This One Stinks," he said angrily. "... The Primeta Here Will Suffer Dearly." Pumpkinhead walked through the hole and into the next dimension, his size resetting, but he strength remaining the same as it was when he destroyed and consumed the previous dimension.

| Again, Pumpkinhead would find himself in Variable City, though this one was of an alternate dimension which bore a new Primeta. The civilians of the city were not like those of the previous or many others -- they were born with power.
This power that they had led them to stride down the paths of good and evil, more or less equally quelling each other and staying in constant conflict... Yet also maintaining balance throughout their worlds. The power that they had could make or break their universe, but on each world, there lay a different conflict. Be it government, superpower, morality, or anything else under the sun, these worlds were trapped in the neverending war between themselves.
Where Pumpkinhead would arrive would be a back alley in the slums of the variable planet that this Variable City was located on, gazing into the eyes of a superpowered human already informed and prepared to deal with him.
This would not be like the last dimension ruled by Eternal Dread, apathetic and selfish. No, this one was full of strength and vitality... And likely, the power to quell even the Pumpkinhead. _________________ Transcendental Metaforms; The 'omnicosm' and 'metacosm' of the omniverses. | "Halt, evildoer!" the rather casual looking man of Variable City commanded Pumpkinhead as he entered, "This place is full of people who wish to conquer or destroy the world! You are a threat to our world and we won't let you have it!"
The man looked normal enough, -- casual T-shirt on and khaki shorts with loafers to match -- but there was something about him that exuded strength. He looked at Pumpkinhead without fear and stood before him as he exited the Shattered Dimensions. He held confidence in his chest and in his voice, as well as much pride in his heart. He wouldn't allow himself to lose to evil. He never had, and he never would.

| Pumpkinhead narrowed his eyes, knowing that this premeditated interference was due to an alert from the Primeta of this dimension. The coward.
"You Stink..." Pumpkinhead uttered, the shattered void closing up behind him. He was still rather cosmic looking, however now he was not as large as a dimension, but as small as a human. This did not change his power, however. Size and proportions were bound to change when entering alternate dimensions, for dimensions were always variable, even when they were set to whatever dimensions they were established. "... Get Out Of My Way." Pumpkinhead raised a cosmic black hand up to the face of this normal civilian and proceeded to flick him with his finger, likely bursting the man's head on contact, if not sending him flying clear across the solar system.

| Pumpkinhead's attack should have destroyed the man... If he were a normal man. But, he had powers, and his powers allowed him to have the durability to endure the hit without much recoil. His power? Plants. How did this save him? Well, his feet were already planted in the ground when he was standing, and his ability to manipulate plant-life himself gave him the power to become flexible like a plant's stem, but unable to snap like a piece of wood. The flick merely sent him backwards some, bending him to a proportion that was inhuman, and then snapping him back into place with a punch for Pumpkinhead using all of the kinetic energy that was built up from the flick in the first place. This would send Pumpkinhead's power right back at him and cause HIM to soar out into the depths of space with a single strike... | |

| ... Or so he thought. Instead of the man's fist punching Pumpkinhead in the face, it would burn away as it came in contact with his flaming head. "... I Said..." Pumpkinhead began, annoyed that someone weak was standing in his way trying to act tough, "GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!" Pumpkinhead took one step forward and disappeared in a flickering blur, appearing behind the plant-using man with his giant butcher knife, 'Pumpkin Carver', suddenly in hand. The man of plants would feel the reaper's blade upon his stalk, metaphorically speaking, and be dashed to pieces -- literally down to his atomic structure -- in basically an instant. Pumpkinhead cleaved through the man billions of times and severed each of his atoms from one another, causing the man to disintegrate after being cut by the Pumpkin Carver.
Paying no mind to the basically erased plant-man, Pumpkinhead took steps into the city that befouled him and began to cause destruction. "... Let's Just Get This Over With..." Pumpkinhead grumbled to himself, letting the tip of his giant butcher knife touch the ground. It would suddenly become cosmic, filled with stellar bodies and celestial energies only found in space, and match his body of the same material. With a single swipe and the call of "Omega Cleave," Pumpkinhead tore through the fabric of spacetime with a single swipe, creating a large cut through buildings, people, and even the very atmosphere. Several smaller dimensional cuts opened up around the large one, being aftereffects of the Pumpkin Carver's slash.
Pumpkinhead pressed on toward the heart of the city.

| As Pumpkinhead made his way to the heart of the city, he'd find that there were more than just people using powers haphazardly on this planet. There were people who had abilities that were used for wicked intentions, and there were those who simply did not care about what they did with their powers.
Naturally, they were usually trumped by someone else with a power greater than theirs or that could counteract their own, but it didn't change who they were as people. Life went on in this world with people who had powers reigning and living in harmony... And in discord.
Discord found its way to Pumpkinhead fast, as someone who passed him by eyed him, having never seen a creature like him before. "Heh, you look strong," the smug teen said, hands in his denim jean pockets, "But I feel like kicking something's ass." He popped the collar of his polyester jacket and smirked at Pumpkinhead, feeling extra confident in his abilities. "Sucks to be you right now," he said to Pumpkinhead as he gathered strength from within...

| Pumpkinhead thought to ignore the little shit, but he was far too smug for his own good. Something Pumpkinhead couldn't stand in people, no matter who they were.
When he saw that the young man was gathering strength from within, Pumpkinhead clenched his fist, Shattered Dimensional Energy concentrating in his cosmic knuckle. "Emptiness..." Pumpkinhead grumbled, lobbing a fist at the face of the smug one with a vicious passion. Whether it made contact or not, a vacuous stream blasted from his fist and forward into infinity, breaking the dimension's structure in a straight line where he threw his punch. The stream of Shattered Dimensional Energy broke down everything nearby and eternally drew in what was around it, from the smallest particle of dust to the largest clod of earth nearby, seemingly infinitely. There was no filling 'Emptiness' once it was unleashed, and unfortunately for this dude, he was the prime target of it.
The city would be deconstructed with great severity by this stream, which shot all the way out to the next planet. The single streak -- which was small in comparison to the planets; just a razor thin line -- withdrew the dimensional energy of the first planet and the second one, breaking them down very slowly, but surely.
What became of the lad was yet to be determined, but the two planets were in danger already. The 'Emptiness' would not grow, but it would not shrink, and everything would be drawn into it little at a time, until there was nothing of the two planets left. They had time, however, and Pumpkinhead made it that way so he could watch them struggle.

| There was nothing left of the cocky teen that thought to test Pumpkinhead's wrath, that much was for sure. Whatever power he had simply was no match for him, let alone enough to save himself.
However, with Pumpkinhead's assault on the two planets, the beings on each suddenly felt camaraderie between each other, hero or villain, and sought to assault the common threat to them all known now as the Pumpkinhead. Swaths of superpowered entities poured from every inch of the deteriorating planets of all kinds and sizes, unifying their powers in order to unleash them however they would at Pumpkinhead in a nonstop array of senseless destruction. Explosions upon explosion on top of explosions riddled with more explosions combined with even greater explosions made more explosions explode outward into an explosive mess of explosiveness. Whatever they had in their respective arsenals was released relentlessly as all of these nameless superpowered peoples gave their all against this otherworldly threat to their existences.

| "... Please..." Pumpkinhead grumbled, obviously unimpressed. The reckless collision of powers weren't anywhere close to being effective because they were too busy backfiring and counteracting each other due to how variable they were and indiscriminate. Some certain things simply did not mix, and would cancel themselves out or react badly and cause something that was actually counter-effective.
Even if all of the powers combined were ineffective -- contrary to common belief that mixing every power ever into one would not have any effect but make them all stronger -- the energy left behind was still quite present, as clear by the ill-placed explosions that actually detracted from the overall power, nod added to it. "... Dimension Eater..." the dimensional flaming entity bellowed, the fires of his own body flaring up to lap up all of the calories in the atmosphere, burning away every last particle in a chain from the residual explosions to the very ones that cast them, and even the Shattered Dimensional Energy that he released himself that consumed all of that energy previously. All of it, all up in dimensional flames, all at once. The vacuum of all of that energy igniting and being sucked into him caused the entire dimension to implode lightly, the ratios pulled together into a singularity from every edge of the gap until it crashed together at the point. There was a great crack in the atmosphere that eventually sealed itself up as other residual energy repaired the dimension, but it had definitely become smaller, and space had become shorter. Things that were several lightyears away would have been drawn closer by several lightyears, making the transition to the next destination within this dimension much closer in every direction.
"..." Silently, Pumpkinhead walked across space, having grown much larger thanks to the consumption of all of that energy, and quickly coming up on the next solar system nearby. He at first was unable to be seen, but as he got closer, each planet in that star system would be able to see his head as though it was the sun, and it radiated the fiery dimensional energies, which omitted particles that permeated light, making his face perfectly visible even in the brightness of day.

| From all over the planets, they witnessed the encroaching dimensional monster bearing the pumpkin-shaped head. As it was a law of nature for people of this dimension to be born with powers of some kind, and seen as an abnormality not to have them as opposed to the opposite, even the Otherworlders bore some type of special capability to take on the coming threat. They didn't know his capacity, but the stronger of them seemed very confident in their abilities, for whatever reason.
The weaker of them would stay and tend to the planet, but it seemed like more or less, everyone was in a panic, as if they didn't have any kind of organized process for dealing with something of this level, let along sentient. Why they believed they could take it on must have belied in their confidence, wherever that came from, but it was time for them to prove to themselves just how very capable of protecting their worlds they were.
Countless superpowered beings flooded from the star system, each in their own ways, some similar or overlapping, and they started to organize themselves along the way. It seemed like they only thought of doing that because, though they were each more or less confident in their own abilities, none of them believed they could handle the opponent alone, and due to their non-instantaneous means of travel, they had time to think and exchange ideas with each other, leading to said result. So, the Otherworlders came up with a makeshift plan and several contingency plans, hoping to overwhelm the being with their numbers and their intellect rather than their power. With a superior command over the situation, they could take advantage of the situation and gain an advantage for themselves, ultimately leading to a victory.
