Still, Sting was a sharp young man and could obviously tell that if he was to step through the portal haphazardly, he may end up in a location where he was in a hazardous situation. He needed to figure out a way to control it, or to at least get it to set at a stable location.
"Hmmm..." Sting thought hard about it all, but nothing changed as he stood on the platform with the open portal. "... This is frustrating." Already, he was tired of trying to make heads or tails of this portal.
But then it hit him -- he'd been wandering around the white void for a short time until he thought of wishing to go to a different location. Then, when he was looking for a place to land, this place showed up. Perhaps that meant that if he thought about it, then he could influence what happened with the portal, as well.
"It is worth the old college try," Sting assured himself, gazing into the portal and trying his best to make out a location that seemed pleasant, or populated.
