| Elements, Elementals, Spirits, and Energy. Kamigami Kamigami is the great spirit from which all spirits flow and go, and can be considered the 'Will Of The Spirits.' It is the basis for the Kamigami, themselves, and can cause lower ranking spirits to become 'Kamigami' through a Spirit Quest or Spirit Test. | |

Will-O-Wisp Info
A Will-O-Wisp is a race of spirits that appear as flickering flames that often lure people to alternate destinations or traps. Found in swamps and marshes, they are attributed to being a hope or goal that leads one on but is impossible to reach (as the Will-O-Wisp keeps moving out of reach).
As clumps of pure, powerful spiritual energy, they take an effect on the spirits of others, and are known to consume souls for energy. This makes using Soul Wavelength ineffective on them, as they will inevitably consume the soul directly through the connection of the wavelength.
Though when they are created, they are normally created for the purpose any Youko may give them, if they are able to obtain their own wills and states of consciousness, they will no longer be under the Youko's control and be able to exist on its own. During that time, its existence becomes more concrete, and they are able to take on a solid form if they wish, and also become more powerful. Some even become powerful enough to become a Youko. They are known to possess women because their souls are generally more receptive to their own mysterious wavelength, which in turn causes the 'Kitsune-Tsuki' to occur, where a woman harbors both powers of a Youko and a Foxfire, whilst still retaining human form. It can be noticed by a powerful aura radiating from her and the sudden ability to manipulate fire, as well as odd behavior.
The wisp is an undead monster, the result from a fusion of demonic energy with the soul of a person that has died alone. Their bodies are comprised of raging flames of jealousy and they wear something like a cage around their body to hold the flames in. They are persistent, ferocious monsters.
Because of their loneliness and feelings of dissatisfaction, they are extremely jealous of the living; especially lovers or married couples that seem to be happy. When they see a man and woman in love, their flames increase in intensity and their ferocity increases even more. Due to this envy and jealousy of the living, there is always a darkly obscene passion swirling in their hearts. When they spot a man, they will smile gleefully as they assault and violate him.
Due to their origins, they have a sick obsession with men. When they capture a man they will shut him inside their own cage. The sex will be intense and relentless; they will adhere closely to a man's body and continue fondling him all day long without growing tired of it. When they kiss, they will continue sucking with their mouth and entwining their tongue with his as if to suck up every last drop of his saliva.
Once they have joined with a man, they hate the thought of his penis leaving their vagina, so they transform their cage to bind him, to ensure that he cannot escape. Once that happens, they will move their hips as if to cling to his penis and the man will continuously have his essence squeezed and sucked out, all while he experiences pleasure of such a degree that he will be under the illusion that his very soul is being poured out. In this way, the man will always exist inside of them.
When their body is filled with warm essence, they realise that they are not alone, their once empty heart becomes filled with warmth and ecstasy. It is said that men who have had their body and soul seized by them and then became their husband, they will not be released even after death, when only their soul remains. They will end up continuing to have sex with them as their husband for eternity.
Also, sometimes, living men are not their targets; instead they trap in their cages the souls of men who died alone like them and make husbands of them. They say that when the living wander into their residence, they will show off while they make love.
Furthermore, even after obtaining a husband, their deeply jealous personalities do not change. Every time they encounter a pair of lovers or a married couple other than themselves, they get jealous and express feelings of rivalry.
If a couple is intimately making love, they will get jealous of it and fawn on their husband, as if to indicate that they would like to do the same. If there is a wife who devotedly serves her husband and smiles happily as she is able to make her husband happy with her own hands, then they will be extremely jealous and envious. They will then devotedly serve their own husband to the point that it becomes obsessive. In this manner, their flames of jealousy rage without limit and they won't be able to settle down, unless they are the most indecent and most loving couple. | |

| Ivy A plant type monster endowed with a countless number of slippery tentacles. Originally they weren't monsters, instead they were grotesque plants known as "tentacle plants" that grow in clusters in the demon realm, but after building up demonic energy while continuing to enviously observe the sight of monsters having sex with human men, they became monsters. Before becoming monsters, they were tentacle plant leaders possessing high intelligence, so they can communicate with and manipulate the tentacle plants around them. Because the natural ecology of tentacle plants involves pleasuring captured prey and sipping energy, they are intimately familiar with all the erogenous zones of the human body from birth. All sorts of bodily fluids, everything from tentacle slime to a woman's saliva and love juice, function as aphrodisiac fluids that heighten their prey's sexual feelings and cause sexual excitement. Despite being organisms that specialize in providing pleasure like this and milking essence, they're warm, and they have a surprisingly amiable disposition towards people. Perhaps owing to their origins as tentacle plants, tentacles sometimes get carried away in their meddling. Here, a tentacle offers a man a woman fully prepared for his entry. Perhaps because they were originally plants that mainly attacked women, and hardly ever touched men, the tentacle race itself is unaccustomed with men. When they spot a man that strikes their fancy, they hesitate to attack due to bashfulness and bewilderment, and many of them can't bring themselves to act. But even so, they will nervously extend their tentacles towards a man to obtain the partner that they have longed for. Perhaps because they are tentacles, even if they have no deliberate intention of doing so, tentacles touched will lewdly coil around a man's body and seize it, stimulate his erogenous zones, and make his expression contort with pleasure. The moment they see that expression, they tremble as arousal is born within them. Pleasuring their prey pleases them more than anything else, and the tentacle's instinctive desire to rape awakens to the degree that both their mind and consciousness grow syrupy and sloppy. Upon awakening as a essence-milking organism, they use their variously-shaped tentacles to coil around a man's entire body, crawling all over, licking, teasing, jerking and sucking, completely covering a man's body with an endless variety of pleasures. If their vagina-mouthed tentacles or female body engulf a penis, when semen is released, so much pleasure attacks the man that he becomes dazed. When they see a man go silly from the pleasure they themselves provide, their instinct as a tentacle makes them experience the greatest ecstasy and fulfillment. However, if they acknowledge a man as their husband and their instinct as a monster female fully takes root, they won't be able to be satisfied from just that, and it causes a new desire to arise, a new instinct to immerse their beloved husband in pleasure and drown him in their affection. If that happens, sex with them won't just end with sipping a little bit of essence. They will coil their tentacles around their husband's arms and legs so that the thing engulfed can't get away, and they will repeatedly caress and squeeze out semen using their tentacles and female body. Furthermore, perhaps because of their amiable personalities, even when not having sex, as if to seek affection, or as if a parasite, they seem to always wrap their tentacles around their husband and try to cling to him. Since they are monsters, their love is absolutely directed toward men, but when they see a woman, they think something like "she could become more wonderful if she had a look of ecstasy on her face". And then they just crawl their tentacles all over the woman's body igniting the tentacle's instinct. By the time they realize it, they have made a monster go wild with passion, and made a new married couple. It seems going out of control after immersing a human woman in pleasure and changing her into a monster is something that is considered embarrassing according to their personality, and it's something that is presently of concern to them. | |

| Hungry Hill Hungry Hills are large mountains with numerous souls inside. They have been stained with the blood of the fallen and seek out more, and therefore, will cause death to anything that comes in contact with it and consume the body and soul like a hungry monster. Though it is completely immobile, at the top of whatever mountains they may have are extensible arms that snatch out birds that may unsuspectingly come across it. | |

| The Furnace So anyway, the Cursed Boiler isn't really much of an enemy as much as the spirit inside is. Being possessed, the boiler now has powerful abilities, such as its metal being coated in powerful repellent spiritual energy that can deflect most normal energies and attacks as well as a rekindling flame if it goes out and a heat intense enough to evaporate water before it comes close to the entity itself. It can spew fire from its pipes in streams and when something is eaten by the moving boiler, their literal essence of life is burned and absorbed into the spirit. The spirit only fights if the boiler is losing to protect itself, but it has the ability to lock up ones soul and... spew blood at you and stuff. It can also manifest itself anywhere so long as its tail is still connected to the boiler. If the boiler is destroyed, the spirit finds another one. It cannot survive without the heat of boilers. | |

| Dreadnid A demon made of blackness with an infinite amount of sickle-like legs... even though it only shows 4. It uses the legs to move across an area, however it travels through ANY black substance or darkened color/area to get from place to place. It can spew demonic fire from the floating part of its head that will devour everything in the area and consume it with its flame. Its body, being made of blackness, technically does not exist and cannot be hit, however as for the head and limbs, those are a different story. | |

| Amewarashii Ame onna - Spoiler:
雨女 あめおんな
Translation: rain woman Alternate names: ame onba Habitat: dark streets and alleys; formerly clouds and holy mountains Diet: unknown; possibly rain, or children
Appearance: Ame onna are a class of yōkai that appear on rainy days and nights. They summon rain wherever they go, and are blamed for kidnapping and spiriting away children. They appear as depraved, haggish women, soaked with rainwater. They lick the rain off of their hands and arms like wild animals.
Behavior: Ame onna are related to minor rain deities. Unlike the gods, however, ame onna are not benevolent. Though the rains they bring might save a village in drought or bring fortune to farmers, they have a more sinister purpose—under the cover of the rain, ame onna wander the villages looking for newborn girls. If they should find a child born that night, they snatch it and carry it off into the darkness, spiriting it away to another world.
Mothers who have their babies snatched away sometimes transform into ame onna themselves, out of grief and despair. Having lost their minds, these transformed women roam the streets at night with large sacks hoping to replace what was stolen. They sneak into houses where crying children can be heard, and steal them away from their homes into the night.
Origin: Ame onna go back to the ancient folk religions of Japan and China. The rains were said to be brought by benevolent gods and goddesses who lived as clouds by morning and as rain by night, forever traveling between heaven and earth. Legend has it that some of these rain-bringing goddesses became corrupted and devolved into evil yōkai. They abandoned their divinity to live among mortals and prey upon them.
Amefuri kozō - Spoiler:
Amefurikozou雨降小僧 あめふりこぞう
Translation: rainfall priest boy Habitat: found throughout Japan; appears during rainy weather Diet: omnivorous
Appearance: Amefuri kozō resemble young boys. They wear children’s kimonos, wooden clogs, and wide-brimmed straw hats or umbrellas on their heads. They are not particularly cute, and have pudgy, upturned noses.
Behavior: Despite their childish appearance, amefuri kozō are charged with the very important task of causing rainfall. Wherever they go, they cause clouds to form and rain to come down. In ancient China, amefuri kozō were thought to be the servants of the god of rainfall, who is known as Ushi in Japanese.
Interactions: Amefuri kozō are shy and rarely interact directly with people. However, they enjoy stealing people’s umbrellas and wearing them as hats. They then cause rain showers to fall upon their victims.
Origin: Amefuri kozō became widely known thanks to the printing boom during the Edo period. They were common characters in the cheap, pocket-sized publications sold by street vendors known as kibyōshi, or yellow covers. Kibyōshi were satirical comics, heavy on illustrations, depicting urban life with easy-to-read prose. Amefuri kozō and other priest boy yōkai became popular in these adult-oriented comic books. People enjoyed their grotesque, silly, yet somewhat cute appearance.
Legends: Rain that falls while the sun is out is known in Japan as kitsune no yomeiri—fox weddings. Kitsune (fox yōkai) hold their weddings during sun showers. Before getting married, kitsune will say a prayer to the amefuri kozō for rain on their wedding day.
