Petricia, the Petrification Witch, was known to rule the lands of Agruria long ago, and was the sister to another powerful witch. During the times of the original Dusk Village, Petricia was in hiding and in exile in one of the dragon caverns, and was eventually discovered and hunted for her soul.
This was the end of Petricia.
However, being such a powerful and widely known Witch, Petricia not only had a castle in Agruria that still stands, but also a particular Royal Servant that tended to her and kept her legacy alive loyally. This was also her apprentice, whose name is Briquette.
Briquette was not a Witch, nor even a normal Fae, but a Nytozin, which is a supernatural being not limited to just a typical Fae, since not every Nytozin falls into the category of Fae. She is capable of utilizing Manna, as most Fae and Nytozins are, and specialized in Earth Manna -- hence why she was serving under Petricia, the Petrification Witch.
When Petricia died, Briquette was the one that searched for ways to bring her back, typically using the special means of earthen construction that is known as 'Calcification'. With this, she was able to reconstruct Petricia's physical form exactly, but her soul was already long consumed. The only way to bring it back was to have it brought back by a higher power, or to extract part of it from something and then rejuvenate it from the piece left behind.
This is Briquette's mission -- to bring back the soul of Petricia, the Petrification Witch.
