Space Dogfight Gambling

Amongst the Lawless Ones, those who were Otherworlders that resided on the Lawless Land alongside the native Valparaiso Denizens sometimes took to gambling, and would all go to space outside of the Seventh Moon for various reasons. Even the space surrounding the lawless land was lawless, and there were no threats of any space forces to intervene in criminal space activity, like Space Dogfights and Space Chicknfights.

Today, the Lawless Ones had all gathered to place their bets on a Space Dogfight between some who had spatial powers and others who had spaceships of any sort. It was a free-for-all, but there was a clear balance between the fighters in the ships and those who had powers, as if they'd created an unspoken team between their kinfolk in the bout.

But anyone who was anyone knew that it was unspoken for a reason -- everyone was wise enough not to commit to anyone in these things, but the advantage would always be in the favor of anyone to take out any threats to the other, even if only working temporarily with someone in order to do so before turning immediately on them.

Lawlessness like that is what made these Space Dogfights in the lawless land so very fun and popular. That's also why they made so much money in these things, too.
