Description
One of the deities of these Corona Badlands, the Hyperion Colossus; a great being whose head easily surpasses the height of the clouds when upright, its body ever maturing as it molds more and more volcanoes from the mountain range serving as its entire physical makeup. Where it was once just a lifeless strip of mountains, it is now a great burning volcanic deity trodding about the Volcanic Range. It has aged and matured quite significantly since its conception. Now, the Hyperion Colossus is the guardian of the Mountains, and serves as an entire mountain range in and of itself in tandem to the Hyperion Mountains. It and its younger sibling, Mt. D'Stroi, are the rulers of this land, under the direct command of the Kasaigami.

History
The Hyperion Mountains of Vescrutia, completely and utterly conquered by the Insanity and brought over to the Veritas upon the move, have undergone quite the vicious change in atmospheric value. Born of the Insanity's creation prowess, it was given the power to live, to grow and to evolve as it may, once as a small volcano. It has grown, absorbing more and more of the mountain range in the name of the Insanity and spreading its influence with the marks of Consecreation, which leaves the Insanity's sigil branded in the very being of this hellacious land. Where the entire mountain range was once welcomed to the Vescrutians who wish to mingle in the heat, now they are a ruthless range of eternally active volcanoes once ruled by the Insanity of Hatred, which perpetually generated innumerable fountains, lakes and streams of pure burning fury. This entire range, being given life as a child known as the 'Hyperion Colossus' laid waste to the land and maintained its rule and control over the mountains as its own. A mountain range in and of itself, it makes up a small chunk of the Hyperion Mountains that are now on the Veritas. Still vicious as the molten lava it mimics, it no longer is afflicted by the Insanity and has been purified along with the lands, making it the rather obedient protector of all the Corona Badlands under the watchful eye of the Fire God. It is capable of awakening and moving across the Corona Badlands as it sees fit and has no true set location, but is known to sleep in the Volcanic Range and mimic the lifeless mountains until it is needed to protect the realm again.

The magnanimity of the Pumpkin Head's wrath scorched again unto the lands the Hyperion Colossus, its sentience extended from beyond its form in the Veritas, on the Hyperion Mountains that they conquered, and now also on the shallow remains of them that were on the Neo Lost World.

An additional record of advent with the Hyperion Colossus would groom its Archival Data out more thoroughly, allowing for it to be able to take on the most up-to-date form that it had, and retain all prior information, including lost data, within it. This, therefore, made the very same Hyperion Colossus that was purged of The Insanity on the Veritas send its same Insanity from the same time it was created in the original Lost World right back to the Neo Lost World in the same exact spot where it started, starting right back up again -- and having all of its character development, to boot.

Further insult to injury was the fact that in the chasm remains of what was the Hyperion Mountains on the original Lost World were actually now the Mountains Of Scorn, and known as such on the Veritas. Thus, to make and maintain the distinction between them, the original Hyperion Mountains -- which resided on the Veritas -- would retain the name for sanctity of the actuality of the storyline, whilst the copied Hyperion Mountains -- on the Neo Lost World -- would be consecrated 'The Mountains Of Scorn'.

Description
A violent active volcanic range that is as the southernmost end to the Ardent Road. Bordering the volcanic range are the Lava Pits, which drain all the excess lava from eruptions into the ground. On the outskirts of this volcanic plane, at the very southernmost tip of the Dawn, is where the creature that protects the Corona Badlands, the Hyperion Colossus, resides in the guise of one of the Hyperion Mountains as it sleeps. This string of volcanoes is almost constantly active, erupting at not only the slightest provocation, but also whenever possible to relieve the pressure under the surface.

History
What was once a mere volcanic mountain range known formerly as the Volcanic Elios on Vescrutia had been claimed by the Insanity as the 'Mountains of Scorn,' which left a smoldering mark upon the Lost World as a blight in its image, still radiating with Insanity that the delusional still believe exists. Once the Veritas was uprooted, taking the true Mountains with it, they were cleansed of Insanity and named after the Hyperion Colossus that had been treading the Mountains of Scorn, also having been purified of Insanity during the move.

*Fun Fact: 'The Veritas Is The One Who Originally Named The 'Volcanic Elios' The 'Hyperion Mountains', Which Is Why The 'Hyperion Colossus' Is An Altar To That, And The Land Being Purely, Wholly Gridlocked Under The Tensei, Down To The Very Name.
