Slinking about the lesser notable areas of Los Paraiso, Metal Abyss found herself back in her old neighborhood, which she hadn't really been in since the incident involving recruitment with Zuu. She figured her house would be hot thanks to Snoop, but since that was over, it didn't make any sense to keep away any longer. It wasn't like it was really much of anything, and the people that did know her, or at least recognized her, didn't ever really have any beef with her. They might have been interested in her physically, but it wasn't something that went beyond that. She didn't have many or any friends, and these people were barely even associates, at best. They just knew her and what she looked like, but likely didn't know the extent of what she got into. Though, considered, neither did she about them. And she wasn't about to go looking, either.
She'd get into her house, happy she didn't leave any food in there, and crashed on her bed. She was sure she didn't have anything to be concerned about, but it wasn't at all productive for her to just sit around in this area. As much as she didn't want to admit it, she needed to actually go talk to these people some more to get some information. Since she lived in this area technically, it probably wasn't best to get any neighbors on high alert, so asking the more critical questions wasn't an option, but at least reestablishing her actual home as a base was also pretty smart to do, in case something ever happened in the Industrial Sector. More or less, she just needed to check her house and actually spruce the place up, so that it would be livable again. She's let it go since her time away, but she honestly didn't think she'd be coming back at all. But life has all types of twists and turns. She knew that well.
Regardless, Abyss didn't stay very long. She only rested up and pretty much went back outside to get a feel of her old neighborhood. It was more likely that they'd have information on some shady or underhanded business because they were an actual residential area, and residents always wanted to get into some mayhem or mischief or whatever. She didn't want to get involved in any people doing dumb shit, for sure, but having the info on it was a different matter entirely. The only issue was that she had absolutely zero interest in actually communicating with anyone. It was just such a bothersome task -- this whole ordeal was nothing but an annoyance. A frustration that she'd hold inside of her cold, metal heart.
It shouldn't have been too exceedingly hard to find someone ready to get into some trouble. She might have to tag along, even... But she perished the thought. If nothing else, she had to prep herself for something like that, and boy did she actually really seriously not want to have to do it. Lying in bed, she sighed with heavy frustration, mulling over it all some more. Maybe she was the one that was frustrated, and no one else was thinking about her. That's what she hoped, but the frustration was a lot to bear. Especially when she knew that she shouldn't care at all. It was just... Such a very big decision made with seemingly whole entirety on the fact that Ollie and Abyss had a minor altercation. That was actually why she thought Ollie might be out to get her, and Zuu might have done that for both of their protection. As not-nice as she liked to play, she wanted others to get along, but it didn't seem like she actually had the patience to actually keep that in order.
Whatever the case, it didn't matter now. It was all something to keep in the mind, not to act upon. So she did exactly that as she summoned even the smallest bit of strength after resting up some to go out there and... Talk to people some more, as tragic as it was.
