To test some of the laws of the Veritas; Cause & Effect, Tetris Tensei appears in the middle of the Ocean of Purity undersea, floating just above the blue lost city, Al Aquia. There are many archaic buildings that are ruinous, yet also still intact and seem both inhabitable and possible inhabited. Once Tetris was present, the water around her would ripple outward with her sudden presence and the Cause & Effect test would begin.

Due to previous disclosed events, Tetris was already aware of the fact that she was being tested and also what the test was about and seemed mentally prepared for it. She already knew that she was finally getting her chance to test out part of the Veritas' Command System as well as see how it works for herself directly, since she'd never been out to actually observe the Veritas, herself. Her first sight was of the underwater city, Al Aquia. Tetris knew everything about the Veritas by name and design, but was not familiar with the actual environment, itself. This would be an experience for her.

Oni :: Attack

With an already preset command prepared due to her Command Input from an indistinct area, a great deal of mental pressure would build around Tetris, causing a bubble of air in the shape of an Oni to form from her Omni Nirvana. With the consciousness of the Oni, she would immediately begin to test out its offensive capabilities for herself.

Offense :: Oni

With the consciousness of the Oni testing out its offensive capabilities, it would remain steadily on the 'Offense' as it continued to practice. The more it practices, the more Tetris learned about the Oni and the consciousness of the Oni through Omnia Nirvana. Tetris would remain in a state of complete concentration whilst she channeled this consciousness of the Oni straight from her mind, which was like a large aura around her. Even though she remained motionless, the projected aura of the Oni around her would continue to 'Attack' as commanded.

Yume-Oni :: Direct

As soon as a foreign consciousness appeared in the depths of the Ocean of Purity, the very Water itself would mirror this image and bring forth a reflection in the form of a vivid, yet dreamy and hazy image. Immediately, directly before the eyes of Tetris and Tetris alone, a Yume-Oni would form, mimicking the image of the consciousness of the Oni that she had just created for herself.

Indirect :: Yume-Oni

Because the Yume-Oni was only mimicking the image of the consciousness of the Oni, its true form was kept a secret, yet it would still remain vividly before Tetris' eyes as long as she channeled the consciousness of the Oni. There was a distinction between the two, where the Yume-Oni's aura was purple and somewhat fiery.

Conquest :: Direct

The moment the Yume-Oni appeared and it was as a mimicry of the consciousness of the Oni, Tetris would be allowed to immediately absorb the consciousness of what had touched the Omni Nirvana, thus gaining the ability to generate the consciousness of the Yum-Oni via direct association.

Indirect :: Oni

When the information about the Yume-Oni was gathered, Tetris immediately applied what knowledge she'd gained to her own Oni consciousness and thus would indirectly become like the Yume-Oni that had become like her Oni consciousness. Therefore, the Oni consciousness would no longer be distinct from the Yume-Oni, and instead would reflect the Yume-Oni's image of the Oni consciousness with purple fire. Thus, Tetris and her Oni consciousness would suddenly ignite with the purple flame that was upon the Yume-Oni.

Yume-Oni :: Support

As soon as the Yume-Oni was consciously aware that Tetris was able to copy its consciousness, it would disappear before she was able to delve any deeper than what information she'd gotten. The rest would remain a secret because that was not the Yume-Oni's true nor full form, but only a projected form, and therefore would not have the full consciousness of the Yume-Oni for Tetris to replicate.

Cause :: Indirect

Because of what the Yume-Oni had done, Tetris' ability to copy consciousness was exposed before she was able to actually acquire all of her information. Now the Yume-Oni knew more about her than she knew about it and it was no longer able to be located presently.

Variable :: Effect

Now that the Yume-Oni had disappeared and Tetris had learned nothing about it, she would become more cautious of herself and her surroundings, and start to look for things she could use to get an edge. Releasing a mental pulsation from her body, Tetris would disperse her Oni forged from the Omnia Nirvana and allow the mental wave to ripple throughout the Ocean of Purity searching for anything that was of the same or of similar conscious mentality.

Subject :: Cause

Because the Yume-Oni had mimicked part of Tetris' consciousness as an Oni, when released as a sonar wave throughout the ocean, Tetris would be able to pick up on anything that had the same consciousness, which only should have been her and the Yume-Oni. This would disregard any other consciousness that had not touched her Omnia Nirvana and therefore would not be mentally tracked, traced nor scanned whilst this was done. However, the dispersion of her mental aura also caused the Oni to disappear. However, Tetris was nowhere near defenseless.

The mental pulse of Omnia Nirvana that rippled through the sea would easily be able to locate and pinpoint the location of where the Yume-Oni was. Yet, when the consciousness of Tetris and the consciousness of the Yume-Oni, a dream-ridden creature mingled, the Yume-Oni would enter Tetris' mind.

Object :: Tetris

Whilst the Yume-Oni was within Tetris' mind, it would release its mentally sedating energy to lull her to sleep and gain control over her mind.

Defense :: Oni

Once Tetris felt her own mind being invaded by the Yume-Oni, she would counter it by generating the consciousness of the Oni inside of her head and allowing herself to copy the mentality of the Yume-Oni to the point where it allowed her to understand how it used its dreamy abilities. Immediately, she would apply this mentality to her own Oni consciousness construct within her mind and allow it to take on the properties of the Yume-Oni's sleep-inducing power to protect the full length of Tetris' mind from invasion and keep her from falling asleep.

Oni :: Front

After defending Tetris' mind, the Oni would react to the Yume-Oni by charging forward at the Yume-Oni to seek to drive it out of Tetris' mind. If it would not be driven out, then the two would engage in further combat within Tetris' mind.

Yume-Oni :: Oni

The Yume-Oni's abilities that were taken in by the consciousness of the Oni would end up being only another viable means for the Yume-Oni to control Tetris and her consciousness. The energy that was absorbed would be concentrated on the Oni and it would be filled with the Yume-Oni, as if becoming possessed, and obtain control over the entire consciousness of the constructed Oni for itself and removing it from Tetris.

Oni :: Tetris

Now that the Yume-Oni had control over the Oni, the Oni and the Yume-Oni were the same being, yet instead of being controlled by Tetris, they were controlled by the Yume-Oni, itself, which was a being that dwelt heavily in the realm of consciousness and mentality. Here, inside of Tetris' head, and dealing with consciousness and mentality, it was in its element and had a powerful advantage. Therefore, with Tetris no longer having control, the Oni consciousness that the Yume-Oni commandeered would begin to lash out and wreak havoc on Tetris' mind, spreading also its sedating dreamy energy to soften her mind and lull her to sleep whilst the Yume-Oni destroyed her mind from the inside out.

Past :: Defense

Tetris, having used the Oni consciousness as a Defensive distraction for herself in the Past, would relinquish her control over it after using it as a means to lure the Yume-Oni into possessing it instead of seeking to weaken her mind. Once the Yume-Oni had taken over the Oni consciousness, like before, the Yume-Oni would have fully touched the Omnia Nirvana, allowing for Tetris, herself, to make an exact consciousness replica of the Yume-Oni that had possessed her Oni consciousness.

Tetris :: Yume-Oni

With her Omnia Nirvana, Tetris would now create a new consciousness totally under her own power and mirroring the Yume-Oni that had possessed her last Omnia Nirvana consciousness. This Yume-Oni, being of the same power as the one it mirrored, would immediately begin to counteract the effects of the invading Yume-Oni by using its same abilities, yet in a counteractive method to the one that sought to wreak havoc inside of her mind. Now the two were on the same playing field and whatever the foreign Yume-Oni could and would do, Tetris could do so also with her mind. Now, her very mind would become immune to the effects of the Yume-Oni due to the absorption and replication of the consciousness via Omnia Nirvana, neutralizing any hazardous power that it may have had to effect her mind or the inside of her mind. It would not be able to win a battle within Tetris' mind any longer.

Defense :: Offense

The mirror match would come to an end once the Yume-Oni was matched by Tetris' mental capabilities, and when it was, the Yume-Oni would disappear. At that point, the one controlling the Yume-Oni would cause a powerful wave to ripple through the waters of the Ocean of Purity.

Variable :: Conquest

When the wave rippled through the Ocean of Purity, it washed over Tetris and erased her projected image, thereby ending the Test Sequence and leaving the Ocean of Purity back in its normal state.
