Khrona, in his weaker form, stood at the Clock Tower of the Dusk. How he'd gotten here was a mystery; one that could only be described as he being manifested by the Clock Tower, itself. Ripped from whatever space and time he was previously in, he now stood at the Dusk Clock Tower patiently, as if waiting for something. "..."

Khrona heard the signal on a passing wind and felt the presence of the energies of the Veritas all coursing through him. His weakened body was filled with strength from the Shinsanities, which was what he called the natural elements of the Veritas, because they kept him both sane and stable. "Mmmm..." he moaned sensually, feeling the sensations surging through him. "... It's show time." He licked his lips, trying to keep himself from smirking too hard. His eyes bulged at the sight before him, which was a vision of the future. Many calculations pouring through his mind coming together all at once as a steady, straight path were revealed to his bulging eyes and the path flashed before his eyes, as well as all its twists and turns. His signature sanguine gleam flashed in his eyes and his black dragonic wings sprouted from his back. "God, I haven't felt this charged in a while." Though he'd been skipping up and down his restrictions, without the binding factors of the perpetual energy that came from his Shinsanities all stabilizing him, he was constantly drained. "If I can feel the Shinsanity surging like this, then that means the Crystal Nexus is completely fluid." He flapped his wings a bit, feeling the natural energies of the Veritas.

"Now that I got my juice, I don't need to stay here. The Shinsanity, itself, will take care of my will and way." The perk of being connected to all the energy of the Veritas was that it moved at his command, and he at its. To congregate this energy to a specific point, which was where he was currently located, so that the energy took on a physical form whilst Khrona, himself, as a physical form went off and did other things, he would chant the words that summoned his 4th Restriction, which was the culmination of all the energies of the Veritas as a sentient being. "In This Town We Call Home..." he began to chant, wrapping himself in his wings, getting ready to depart. "Everyone Hail To The Pumpkin Song." At that moment, the energy of the Veritas should have begun to collect around his form, whilst simultaneously his form would disintegrate, materializing elsewhere in the Veritas.

When all of the Souzenryoku, or, 'Shinsanity' as it was archaicly known, congregated in the spot that the vessel had summoned it, in his place would stand the full embodiment of all such energies, great and small, that flowed throughout the Veritas. This essence, known as 'Pumpkinhead,' stood 13 feet tall and as a condensation of all types of elemental energies which resembled a multicolored flame with a vibrancy in reddish-orange tint. The bulbous pumpkin-shaped head, whose eyes glowed with a vivacious yellow light amid the reddish-orange condensation of energy that shaped the physical body, gazed onward from the clock tower of the Dusk and out over the city. "... Too Much Energy," he muttered to himself, able to visibly see every form of energy that should come across his eyes, "... Not Enough Life." Because the energy was meant to both sustain life and promote life, when there was not enough life and too much energy, it meant that the cycle was imbalanced. "... Must Feed." The energy that he would consume would be given directly to the vessel through their direct connection, since Pumpkinhead was the embodiment of his Life Energy, or 'chakra' as it was archaicly called. Therefore the two of them were directly bound, even when separate, and when one fed, the other was fed as well.

Pumpkinhead, the Oversoul of the planet, who freely roamed and did as he pleased, just as the vessel was allowed, was also tasked with keeping peace and order in terms of energy. Because of the shifts going on in the Veritas as a planet, there was an excess of energy that could be potentially dangerous or unstable if not balanced. Thus, this is what the burning man was destined for; to absorb the extra energy into himself and level out the land. He started his travels in the Dusk, since the Delta had been previously cleansed by his passing. With one step, his form began to fade away like a ghost, and with the second, he disappeared into the Myst.
