| PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Culture and literacy are inextricably linked. While literacy is the means, or medium, of communication, culture is the energy behind the expression. Literacy is the format chosen to communicate ideas while culture constitutes the beliefs that form the basis of that expression: ethnicity, tradition, religion, politics, gender, and sexual orientation are all contributors to our culture. Through expanded awareness of global understanding, and essential global workforce skills of the 21st century, the Global Perspectives module is designed to prepare TFC’s media arts students to compete effectively in the global economy. | |
