Of those on the Lost World, some who were more powerful retained their essences and influences in and on the Veritas in whatever manner was appropriated. One of these entities was one of the legendary Kings -- the Sun King. He was raised in a tiny village ridden with poverty. His mother was barely ever around, yet he and his father developed a close bond when he was little. When the village's leaders arrested his father for high treason, he left behind an ancestral Shadowblade, which he'd kept ever since. The following day his father was executed.
The young Sun King took to the streets shortly after, training with his new blade and taking 'odd jobs' for money, usually involving thievery or assassination. Eventually he began to discover his abilities in energy control, forming signatures in both Light and Darkness. He left the village and all human habitation after a while, in an effort to hone his powers.
He made his way eventually to the Nightmare Village, where he quickly became fond of the Demon King. The Demon King took the young Sun King in as his apprentice after long, and his progress and skill only grew. It wasn't long before he was offered one of the only Elite positions in the Demon King's new Village of Chaos.
Serving there under the Demon King, doing his best to defend the village with his Royal Guard, the still unroyal young Sun King began to take interest in what his blade actually was. Through the help of the VVizard King, he discovered the Shadowblade's powers as a Soul Weapon, an Instrument for purging tainted and evil souls. Around this time the Demon King was killed by Hao, and it didn't take long for depression to fully sink in.
After so long, calamity struck the Lost World, and the premature Sun King fled to a different dimension against his will, taken by a terrible rift. This same rift was caused by the Veritas via Tigen's 'Dimensia Ripper', and in being transported to a parallel realm, the Sun King and all who were sucked from the Lost World made habitation there... With him as their Sun King. | |
