Personality: After realizing that no one loved or even cared for existence, she became emotionally withdrawn. She became all but silent, and consumed with a bitter a loathing and disgust for all things, except for herself. This called her to be a quiet, "calm", judgmental, and careless person. Fortunately, a cold, remorseless, and heartless mentality is something that is required.
This priestess was the daughter of her clan's greatest war general, a glorious strategist who was well renowned throughout his time of living as nothing less than a pure genius. It was during the time of war that Eureka was born, being a the first of the family to be marked with the full power of their clan's ability, Shikigami, which was a Divination Technique for channeling, summoning, and commanding Paper Spirits or their powers. However, as she was born, Eureka was also diagnosed with a terminal illness, that would spell the end of her life in a matter of days. Her viewed her birth as a gift from the gods, as he planned to use her power as the clan's ultimate weapon of war. In order to sustain her life however, a sacrifice was needed, and her mother was used. Before she died, Eureka's mother would curse the clan and it's entirely, hoping her child would avenge her death. Eureka was trained by her father, but raised by her maternal uncle, Shuichi.
Because of the power of her prowess of Shikigami, the people of her clan hated and feared her, seeing her only as an abomination and tool of war. Shuichi, for a time, seemed to be the only one who cared for her. Demonstrating her Special Ability, she would terrify and sometimes even take the lives of her fellow clansmen. Shuichi would be the only one who realized that Eva's intentions were nothing malicious, but of confusion on how to control her powers, though her father took note on her constant attacks on her clansmen and viewed her unknown and dangerous power as more of a curse than it was a blessing.
Thus, using her paper, carved a tattoo ( 愛) on her palms, shoulders, and back. The tattoo means "demon loving only herself." | |
