*As many ninja, people, and pokemon continued their daily lives around the tri-villages they would find themselves interpreted by the sounds of large fireworks. Fallowing the colorful lights and loud explosions the people of the tri-villages would notice that the noise and lights where coming from the Pokemon Colosseum. After a moment the large screen on the front of the Colosseum would turn on the lovely Nurse Joy would appear on the screen.*
Nurse Joy: Greetings ninja, trainers, and pokemon of the wonderful Tri-village Alliance this is Nurse Joy speaking and I am happy to announce that official registration for the Pokemon Gym leader tournament is now open. If any trainer would like to enter please come and meet with me in the Pokemon Center of the Colosseum to get you name registered and final approval on you team.
*With that said Nurse Joy would give on last smile before the screen you then turn off and the doors to the Colosseum would then open. Within the Colosseum just as Nurse Joy had said she was currently in the Pokemon Center waiting fro trainers to come register themselves and their team to see if they had what it took to be one of the 8 gym leaders of the region.*
Tobari: "I'm hear to sign up and electric style team."
"So you are actually entering Tobari."
*As the cold voice spoke a chill would enter the pokemon center as Retsu entered to room with his hands in his pockets and his face partly covered by his scarf. While honestly Retsu and Tobari have had little to know interaction the two still knew each other due to being members of Weapon X. Without another word Retsu would walk up to the counter as well placing his trainer card and pokemon on the counter for Nurse Joy. From the pokemon on the card it was obvious he was using a Ice-Type team.*
Akira walked into the pokemon center after hearing the nurse joy's annoucement. He saw two ninja standing by the counter and they both had trainer cards so it was clear that they were both here for the tournament. Akira walked up to the counter and placed his trainer card on the counter as well.
"Ill be entering with my volcano team."
Akira then turned and saw that once of the other two ninja was none other than his acquaintance tobari. They had been on a few pokemon hunts together before and caught a number of pokemon as well. It wasn't a surprise that he was entering this tournament.
-A Sweet smelling gust of wind would sweep through the area as allen made his way to the front desk. He saw the other contestants and giggled Quietly to himself..the three of them looked very capable...although he was sad that more had not chosen to attend...oh well a short earned victory was a victory no less. He placed his trainer card upon the desk to discover shabuto's best friend akira entering as well.-
I am here to Register My Black Vein team...they are Dual type dark Pokemon...Oh akira?..you registering as well?
-He said sparking up a brief convo before it all went down.-
*Nurse Joy would smile happily as the first few trainers would appear within the pokeball to enter into the tournament. One by one Nurse Joy would take each trainers pokeballs and trainer cards and walk over to the large machine int the center of pokemon center. Nurse Joy would place the pokeball in fit-size slots before pulling a leaver on the side of the machine. This would cause a strange form of energy to cover the pokeballs which would seal away any abilities outside of the approved pokemon abilities (ex: a pikachu with sharingan). After this was done Nurse Joy would return the pokeballs and trainers card back to their correct trainer.*
Nurse Joy: Thank you for applying you may not enter into the participating section Colosseum.
A woman in with crackling red hair and knee high boots appeared in the vicinity.
She made her way past the transients and made her way to the Pink haired woman.
Time to make my official debut...
"I'll be registering as well. I don't have a special team type or anything like that."
Is all she said. She figured this was going to be quick. It was time to see what the blessed pokemon could do.
The Ice Queen hovered to the center, eyes closed, arms crossed, her presence enough to chill the atmosphere. She and her Ocean Storm team were prepared, yet, Luci hadn't changed herself to fit the occasion.
'Tch. Wouldn't wanna give em frostbite. Let me up the temp a bit..."
Drawing in the coldness of the air around her into herself and containing it, the atmosphere was warm once more. She hovered into the pokemon center, halfway paying attention.
"I'm here for the Pokemon registration."
As if strolling in right behind Luci, nonchalant and not even noticing everyone else, she scoffed and placed her hands in her pocket.
"Here for the Tournament. Nuff said."
*Like with the others Nurse Joy would take both the pokeballs and trainer cards of the 3 young ladies and take them over to the machine. The machine would roar once more coating the balls in strange energy which like before would seal away any abilities that did not fallow the normal pokemon guidelines. After returning the cards and pokemon Nurse Joy would then look at her watch for a moment and would notice that enough time had past that it would be time to close.*
Nurse Joy: Alright then I think it is time to close registration now and because of that I am happy to say congratulation because since there are only 8 of you that means you all will be able to become gym leaders after this tournament is over. So that means is will now be a tournament to find out who is the strongest gym leader of the region.
*Nurse Joy would say this as she would begin to type on the small keyboard that was placed behind the front desk. This would cause everyone's trainer cards to appear on a large monitor behind the front desk. The card would then flip to a blank back and would then begin to spin around jumbling them up.*
Nurse Joy: While we wait for matched to be decided I will explain what will be occurring during this tournament. Since it has already been decided that you 8 will be the gym leaders of the Tri-Village we will now have to order you all from weakest to strongest so other trainers around the villages will have to battle you all in that order. So you all will be paired against opponents and battle to place as high as you can and earn you ranking among the gym leaders. Now lets see the match ups.
*Nurse Joy would turn toward the screen behind her and after a moment the cards would begin to slow down and pair up. After the final card paired up they would all flip around revealing who would fight who. The names of the competitors would then be arranged and a tournament sheet for the competitors and people in and out of the arena to see.*
Nurse Joy: Okay it seems all of the match ups have been decided and thanks to the large scale size of the main Colosseum all matches will be able to occur at the same time. So if you all could please make your way to the main Colosseum, from there you will be directed to you battle spots.
*Nurse Joy would then bow to all the trainers before the ground under her would begin to move and slowly move downward taking Nurse Joy along with it so she could get ready for the battle that was about to start.
*Retsu would take a moment to look at the screen and then take a quick glance over at his supposed opponent before turning to leave to the arena. Retsu really could not put his finger on it but there was something about the women he was about to face that rubbed him the wrong way. Also not only the women but even inside there pokeballs the women's pokemon where also releasing a rather strange energy. However not wishing to start anything Retsu would simply head to the arena and obtain his answers there.*
akira looked at the screen then thought about the name for a brief moment.
"Waiit didn't i just...."
Akira remembered that he was literally just on a mission with this woman and now he would be facing her in a tournament. The irony. Akira looked at her and began to make his way towards his battle zone.
