Some of the original Constructs, who were made as giants which were larger than many living beings, or were the enlarged versions of whichever creatures were in existence or would soon be in existence. Over time, they diverged into many different strains, as they were a highly adaptive species, and their presence always brought a sense of submission to other species.

Habitation (Present)
Because of their large size, they are known to stay in mountains and in places away from smaller creatures, and exist with things that are near or larger than their size, such as Behemoths and Dragons.

Purpose (Future)
They maintain the natural order and power structure of those between the micro and the macro, being part of and in between both. Those that are greater are able to reproduce with them to create smaller beings, as smaller beings are able to reproduce with them to create larger beings.

Gigantic creatures with power rivaling that of their mineral brethren the Golems, their mechanical brethren, the Iron Giants (however these creatures are made of purely flesh and bone) and their Beast brethren, the Behemoths. Renowned for their size and their strength, the Gigas is a fearsome foe that has strength even to take down a Behemoth, and are known to do so and domesticate them. Enormous in size, some even able to dwarf mountains, even the smallest of them rival the size of fully grown trees. Every Gigas has adapted to the region it is from, as they all have taken on a number of different shapes, sizes and powers to survive. It is said that the largest Gigas to ever have lived is also the God of the Gigases, known as Titan himself.

Literally, giants. They are most generally described as giant humanoid creatures, ranging from 7-8 feet at minimum to the size of mountains. The women are commonly called 'Amazons,' however they are also known as 'Gigases.' They have insurmountable physical strength and endurance, and typically roam the land as they see fit. They are slightly primitive, however they have great wisdom, as well. They have forged their own weapons to use in combat, some of which are enchanted, however most Gigases like to rely on their own strength rather than the strength of weapons.

When Gigases settled unknowingly in locations high with electrical charge, their natural electromagnetic waves harmonized and intensified, granting these Gigases electrical powers. Even greater than this was the capacity to utilize powerful soundwaves, which is what they became known for. Their name became derived from the sound of thunder, which signified their coming, as well as the result of their hunting.

Habitation (Present)
Their known habitation is at locations with extreme amounts of electrical charges or polarization, but are also able to live where there is a lot of electrical energy, such as from a generator.

Purpose (Future)
Their natural presence is capable of generating a great deal of electrical energy, but their lesser known skill is to literally forge electricity into weaponry, such as a lightning bolt.

The Brontes are known not only for their affinity to electricity, but also their great power with sound. They are seen to be like the very force of the thunder itself, with lightning as their weapon. Typically keeping to themselves, they are skilled hunters, and are even known to be able to live among the clouds, though that is generally only legend. They are a rare breed, so few come in contact with them, but if one should find the favor of a Brontes, they could acquire for themselves a rare weapon forged of pure lightning, which they are renowned for.

History (Past)
Giants that were driven to the mountains, and thus began to dine on them for survival. The eventual evolution into large, earthen structures came from the continual consumption of them. Though all of these Gigases are known as Mountains, they are colloquially called Hill Gigases, though the term is technically only applicable to the smallest version of these Gigases. This is because the first known discovery of one posing as a hill near a village led to the name, with those who were known to be the size of actual mountains being undiscovered due to how few roamed the planet. They were known to have grown to the size of mountains over time, but nowadays, many are born that size, thus being why they are called by the name of Mountains.

Habitation (Present)
Posing as actual mountains or hilly structures, they tend to like flatlands like plains more than anything, but the next common place is among mountain ranges, which are sometimes comprised solely of these beings. They enjoy any type of wide open space, including the sea, which they will sometimes go out into and pose as entire islands. The larger they are, the less they move, due to how much energy is required, how much a planet can shift if they do, and hibernation. It is often said that the largest ones of these Gigases return to being mountain structures because they never awaken from their hibernation, which becomes longer as they grow to such sizes.

Purpose (Future)
They are capable of altering the ecosphere of a planet by shifting their movement too much, be it from altering the weight of a land mass, blocking or redirecting the wind or even weather, shifting the natural altitude, climate, and atmosphere of a land, and bringing obstacle or benefit to natural life. Though they have no control over the weather or anything related to such an ability, it is their size and mass which contribute to the ecopatterns of a planet, meaning their position and setting are important to the flow of everything else.

The Blood Gigases are said to have formed when Gigases were forced to live in an environment of parasites, thus adapting a lifestyle of parasitism and living off of other parasites, which turned the entire strain of species into parasitic beings as well. Their most common food was leeches, so they acquired a potent taste for the blood of every living creature, as well as a constant bloodthirsty nature.

Being wholly parasitic, the Blood Gigases live near or with other living beings which bear blood.

Purpose (Future)
The only true function of the Blood Gigases is depopulation, as they often prey upon the most abundant of species, since they do not have a preference when it comes to blood. If their species becomes too numerous, they will cannibalize each other and separate over time. Because their original diet consists of all types of parasites, they are also seen as useful for keeping a population of parasitic beings at bay, but normally this is at the expense of then having to deal with the Blood Gigas population as a greater parasite.

No one is sure what brought on these creatures, as it does not seem to be a mutation of any kind nor an intermingling of species. It is possible that it is a natural -- though predominantly dormant -- gene within the Gigas species that bears literally no difference in biological data beyond the multiple arms. The sense of self is adapted for utility of these arms regularly, such as for building and climbing, which are the most common.

Habitation (Present)
Due to a certain psychology which occurs in these Gigases when their arms grow, they have mentally adapted to higher elevations, such as in trees or upon sheer cliffs. They do not like to live in locations with minimal use of their many arms, as it could cause some of them to atrophy if not stimulated enough.

Purpose (Future)
They maintain a symbiotic relationship with nature and other species by continually using their arms, typically via construction or manual labor. They are known as natural builders, so they are sought out for that purpose primarily. If they are not building, they are found climbing.

Being virtually identical to a normal Gigas in every way except the multiple arms, there is no difference in them or the standard Gigases, except for their increased dexterity and necessity to utilize all of their arms regularly. They are known to expedite the construction of architecture and weaponry, as all of their arms are constantly put to use in such situations. Though they are so skilled at construction, they very rarely create their own buildings. The insides of caves and tops of trees often have very intricate designs like one would find from modern architecture, however.

Typically seen as a species of Mechanica more than as a Gigas, as the construction was ultimately artificial and not natural, and these Gigases fall into the category of what one would call a standard Mech. Though, unlike all Mechs, the Mecha Gigas is not always meant to be piloted, and can stand autonomously, which is the differentiating feature between a Mech and a Mecha. Therefore, a Mecha Gigas can be seen as both a Gigas and a Mechanica, even if they are primarily Mechanica before Gigas. Because they are built, they can be mass produced, and are seen as products of Mechanica.

Habitation (Present)
Due to the high usage of power, they live where there is a great deal of natural magnetism or electricity. They also prefer being surrounded by their own kind or environments that are mechanized.

The giants of legend most well-known in folklore, the Jotunn are a race of Gigases which are known to have supernatural abilities, thus classifying them as Fae. They were born in their own realm, yet still maintain properties of the mythos, being born in a world originating in folklore. Due to this, their existence isn't as concrete in realms beyond their own except for in folklore, so their existence alone has been said to be something of only stories. Even so, they are capable of living in locations outside of their homes, and also reproduction. Likewise, the technical term for a Gigas born in the Veritas who originates from Manna or whose birth happens in the Dream World is considered a Fae, therefore a Jotnar, regardless of any relation to an actual Jotnar from Jotunnheimr.

Typically exist in lands of mythos, or their own realm. They thrive off of Manna, and so live in places where Manna is abundant.

Originally, Dullahan only described the offspring of the Headless Horseman, which were spawns who were headless as well. However, because of their size and influence, the name has been applied to the species of Gigas that are either departed or natural-born spirits. Now, Dullahan can refer to the headless spiritual spawn of the Headless Horseman or the Ghost Gigases, some of whom are Headless who have been reunited with their heads, but have lost their soul in the process.

Dullahan are typically made after a Gigas dies, usually being a Headless that actually acquires or keeps their head. Unlike those which are born from the Headless, the natural-born Dullahans were either born without heads as spirits, or are simply a Ghost Gigas with no severance of their heads at all due to being natural-born spirits. They can still topple any normal Gigas with equal strength.

Some are born of their own will or the culmination of a great deal of spirits, whilst some are born from the souls of Gigases who were decapitated.

They are said to be the souls of Gigases who were felled in battle via Beheading, and typically have become a sort of Headless Horseman offspring. Some Dullahan like to ride upon the Mares, typically a Nightmare or Pyremare due to this nature, however their dark and emotionless disposition leaves them hungry for souls. They say looking into the neckhole or eyes of a Dullahan sucks your souls straight from your body. These creatures typically love to guard castles and the like, and appear around the 'Warrior's Wasteland' as the spirits of the fallen. Even in death, they are loyal to those they protect. They show extreme prowess in military tactics, and can use their ghastly powers to aide them in battle strategies.

Their neck holes usually are lit aflame or are aglow with a ghastly light, which is one way to spot them from a very long distance away. They are known to be advocates of the Reaper, and when the time comes, they are there to claim a soul.

They are generally known to be kind and wise, but they are also known to still consume humans at times, though typically wicked ones. Weaker Onyudo are more prone to consuming a wicked human -- or any human, depending on their weakness -- than one which is stronger in faith, but this does not make the more experienced ones exempt. The greatest of them are known to be the wisest of all Gigases, and may even become Divine Beings at death instead of Spirits. Therefore, they try to keep to their practices and faith.

Onyudo is a term for any type of Giant Priest, as is what the name means. Size, appearance, and mannerisms vary from region to region and account to account. Some giants are only slightly larger than a human while others are as big as a mountain. Some are saviors of men, while others are man-eaters.

Onyudo that harm humans are by far the broadest category, as typically they consist of Gigases who are new to the faith, and therefore are generally weaker to their flesh. These giants delight in terrorizing humans— sometimes hunting them to eat, sometimes pillaging and destroying villages out of rage, and other times terrifying lone travelers just for the fun of it.

Onyudo that help humans are much more uncommon, but can most times be seen tending to the more unstable Onyudo, or even the other Gigases interested in the faith. They have been known to perform good deeds such as moving heavy objects or doing other things that require incredible amounts of strength.
