| Roughly used to describe any burrowing creature that isn't in its own classification as it is, such as mammalian creatures which exist primarily to dig or live underground. Though this classification can technically describe a great number of beings, such as many insects and rodents or mustelids, it is used in this regard to describe beings which are primarily mammalian and do not fit into any separate diversification, but have the developed priority specifically for digging and burrowing and not anything else before that. Therefore, only creatures who serve the purpose as being primary diggers are listed here, as most if not all others only have such a quality secondarily or tertiarily to their primary existence or classification. | |
