The remaining members of the wolf clan, which had all regrouped during their return to their Alpha, would eventually make it to the cemetery just beyond the mountains of the Dusk, from whence they had just come from prior to entering the city limits. On the way, they had passed by one of their lost brethren that had been wounded during their battle, however his wounds were nowhere near as severe as the one that died... The one whose soul was guiding them through the Myst filled Necropolis. Only his soothing blue spectral glow kept the spirits of the Wolf Clan at ease as the trekked on through the unknown.
With 6 males and 3 females, the group would split up into 3's with one female accompanied by two males. These teams would be Teams A, B and C. The wolf girl that Queen Archdeath met, as well as the wounded wolf brother, were on Team C.
"We'll split up and sniff around while we wait to awaken the sleeping spirits of the rest of our fallen..." said the team leader of Team A. "Team A will take care of the Spirit and the resurrection of the others on one side of the cemetery and Team C, having someone that has spiritual power, will handle raising the spirits on the other side. We'll meet at the other end." He turned to the leader of Team B, separating that team's job based on what the other two had that they did not. "Team B, keep watch and support from the rear. Make sure to cover us and keep yourselves covered."

A great darkness was cast over the land; one that could be felt in the very depths of the soul. Before the Wolf Clan could even get situated, Undead would already rise from the ground, feeling their life force and seeking it out for themselves. To accompany the sound of whirring, the sound of mournful moans could be heard suddenly filling the atmosphere.

The keen ears of the Beastkin would perk up as the heard the sounds of whirring, each of them becoming alert. "Stay on your toes," the leader of Team A said, before both A and C would break to either side of the Cemetery, with Team B remaining at the rear. The great darkness that passed over the land would chill their souls, but none of them would back down. They had a job to do; and that was to resurrect the spirits of their fallen clan and raise the Wolf Clan from the dead. Their loyalty to their brethren was greater than the fear of this cemetery. With Team's A and C split up, both having someone who had some sort of Spiritual Power, they would be able to sense any disturbances in restless souls that weren't of their brethren, as well.

"Rise From Your Grave...."
The sound of a dark, grungy voice swept over the land as soon as the Wolf Clan started moving, and the low sounds of shuffling could be heard in the fog. Nothing could be seen, but it was clear that something was there. The sound of childish laughter could also faintly be heard.

"The fuck was that!?" someone from Team C shouted, hearing the sounds of moans and shuffling. "Something's already coming..."
"What, are you scared?" the woman, whose name was Lynne, said toughly. "We've got a job to do, and I can see spirits. There's nothing that can get the jump on us, even if we can't see them." She was the most confident, as the leader of Team C, due to her ability to see spirits, thanks to that one girl that she came in contact with during her battle with that weird giant robot dinosaur. She had yet to properly thank her for that, but that ability would come in handy right now. "Hyah!" she cried out, activating whatever sort of spiritual perception she had to see the souls of whatever was coming. Team C would tread carefully, but nothing that was spiritual would be unseen to her keen eyes, and their sharp Wolf Senses, such as acute smell and hearing, were still definitely useful here. They'd be fine.
Team A had done something similar, letting the Spirit Brother that had been fallen lead the way through the darkness. His spiritual perception guided them and kept any other spirits from going undetected, whilst the ears and noses of the others remained acute.

What popped out of the darkness first was nothing undead, but in fact some soulless Mechanica that were programmed to kill. No form of spiritual detection could pick up on them, and when they attacked both teams, it would be a sneak attack. Their arms were bladed, like daggers, and they flailed them about wildly the moment the unsuspecting Wolf Clan of Team A and C entered their territory.

"Woah!" cried the leader of Team A, having been caught off guard by the random machine. Even with his heightened sense of hearing of the Beastkin, they weren't able to tell that the machines were coming due to their lack of souls and the smell of corpses and sound of moans in the air. He hopped back to avoid being slashed, and his team would cover him "Cripes, why are there robots in a cemetery?!" Since it was just one robot, the three of them could easily overpower it, and would do that by first surrounding it and feeling out its next moves before striking... But the team leader was suspicious of a robot running around in a place like this.
Something similar happened with Team C, where Lynne was, with her spiritual perception not picking up on the machine that had suddenly come out to strike her. "Gah!" she cried, her reflexes kicking in as she threw up an arm to defend herself. She grasped the robotic arm with a half-shifted wolf arm, which had more strength than her normal arm, so that she could hold off and hurl the machine to the side. "Get him!" she cried to her team, who would then viciously leap at the robot and being mauling it.

The machine facing Team A would continue to lash at each of them wildly and without control, trying to hack up anything that got in its way that seemed threatening. It didn't stop slashing its arms around violently, and would slash whomever got close, or that it got close to. Whichever of Team A was the closest would be its target, and it would only shift targets if another of them approached.
The machine facing Team C, after being hurled to the side, would be jumped upon and subdued, before being viciously mauled to pieces by the two wolfmen that accompanied the woman leader.

Whilst the werewolves were all distracted with the Mechanica that were attacking them, the shuffling feet of the moaning corpses would finally make their way out from the darkness, one at a time, and lunge at them with decaying mouths agape and arms outstretched to latch onto the first living creature they could touch. Though the 'Corpses' came out one at a time, they would appear sequentially, leaving little time in between the first and the next that appeared from the darkness. They would also appear from many different angles, having risen randomly from the tombstones that were littered all about the area.
Subject: Re: Wolf Clan; Pack Pact Mon Feb 15, 2016 7:30 am
The Wolf Spirit that was guiding Team A would suddenly become restless, sensing the soul of an undead creature approaching. It could see that there was something on its way, even before it left the darkness, and would inform the leader of Team A. After getting his attention with a short howl and directing his attention to the corpse closing in on his teammate from behind, he would shout, "Behind you!!" before jumping off to the side to avoid the strike of the machine, which seemed pretty focused on him. With one man turning around to see the corpse after being warned of it, he would slash at it with his powerful wolf claw, whilst the other one would leap at the machine from behind with a strong kick whilst it was distracted with the leader of Team A, who had given an opening by luring the machine to turning its back on the other member.
With team C, the machine was thoroughly handled, but there were corpses that were closing in on them now from different angles, which Lynne had not been paying attention to due to the machine. "What the...?" she cried, seeing the creatures only once they started to appear. "This is getting on my nerves already!" She could see where this was going, and didn't feel like dealing with cannon-fodder zombies all day. They were here on a mission, and she was going to get it accomplished. "You guys deal with the zombies... I'll go handle the spirits of our brothers." The two that had just mauled the robot would nod their heads and take off toward the Corpse, whilst Lynne went on deeper into the cemetery. Because she could see the souls of the undead, she could avoid them and find a good spot to raise the fallen spirits up with her spiritual power.

The impetuous wolf girl, in all her impatience, would be met with yet another machine, which had been standing perfectly still in the darkness so that it couldn't be seen nor heard. It had no reason to activate its killing features until there was something to kill nearby, and because it had no soul for her to see, when she got near, it could surprise her. It jumped at her immediately when it saw the opportunity, with its bladed arm already prepped to stab her in whatever spot it could manage to deal damage whilst she was not paying any attention, for a preemptive strike.
Subject: Re: Wolf Clan; Pack Pact Mon Feb 15, 2016 7:36 am
Soon enough, with corpse after corpse appearing, slowly, but surely, out of the darkness, one by one, like ants, they would grow in number. Three were already in Team A's area, since they had not been dealing with the Corpses as they came, and two were with Team C. However, another one was nearby when the wolf girl, Lynne, was attacked by the Mechanica, and would approach her, as well, whilst she dealt with it. Meanwhile, the one with Team A that had been rend by the wolf claw would be slashed to bits, falling to pieces rather easily.
Subject: Re: Wolf Clan; Pack Pact Mon Feb 15, 2016 7:53 am
Team A had found favor in their attack against the machine, wherein the powerful kick had apparently incapacitated it and kept it from attacking again, hopefully even disabling the thing completely. It seemed like they had more things to worry about with the increasing number of corpses. Even if they'd felled one or two at a time, there were more approaching. Dealing with machines and zombies was proving to be overwhelming, since sensing the machines was more difficult when being distracted by the corpses. They were going to need the aid of Team B for this. With a loud howl, the leader of Team A would call for support from someone from Team B, who would show up quickly to help deal with the next few zombies that had appeared. The three of them would take on the three zombies individually, wherein they would lunge at them and strike with wolf claws, since it seemed like that was the most effective way to get rid of them.
"We need to find a way to resurrect our brothers!!" the leader of Team A said, finding no time to waste with this onslaught of beings. "What shall we do?"
"I'll go." The Wolf Spirit that was with them nodded his head and took off into the darkness. He would handle raising the dead from there whilst the other 4 dealt with the growing number of corpses, so that they wouldn't be overwhelmed.
Meanwhile, with Lynne, she would be caught off guard by the robot that surprised her, yet her reflexes were swift enough to block the attack with her giant wolf arm. "GYAH!" she cried out, loud enough for the other members of Team B to hear. "Lynne!" they said, taking off in the direction of Team C after hearing her howl of pain. They would meet up with the other 2 that were fighting the corpses and assist them. The members of Team C already had the zombies' attention, and when Team B came in from behind, they would slash viciously with their powerful wolf claws and hopefully completely decimate the rotting bodies. "Where's Lynne?" one would say, whether or nor the corpses had fallen or not.
"That way," one of the members of Team C pointed, still keeping their eyes on the targets. "We'll finish up here and split up to go meet with her. She shouldn't have gone off alone."
Lynne continued to scuffle with the robot. As long as it was near her, she could at least have a clear shot at it. That's when she heard the shuffling of another corpse coming in behind her. "GYAAAH!" she cried again, this time with anger, as she tore off the robot's arm and ripped the blade out of her flesh. She would hurl the robot to the side and swing the robot arm at the corpse coming at her, blade first, to hack it to bits while she had a bit of time.

"Yeah, I'm bored now."
The great darkness that was over the land would suddenly press down upon the Mechanica and the Corpses, causes them to cease after whichever ones that had been attacked would be felled. At that moment, the powerful darkness condensed around them as long, thick arms that would cover the entirety of the field, yet touch none of the werewolves directly. There were only four arms, with two visible to either side, since they were so very large in their condensation that only one could be seen, due to its mass and size. They dragged up from the ground an even greater darkness, which looked to be the body of a woman peering over the entirety of the cemetery with a face completely ash black and jet black hair that drooped over it. The darkness was ambiguous and nearly disfigured, yet upon what looked to be the head of it, which was clearly visible from every angle in the cemetery, a twisted, fanged smile spread on its face as a single white eye gleamed, looking down at the tiny little people below. "Heh heh heeeeeeeh..." it laughed, the deep baritone voice quaking the entire land.
Subject: Re: Wolf Clan; Pack Pact Mon Feb 15, 2016 8:07 am
The werewolves were all puzzled once the onslaught of machine and undead suddenly came to a halt. The entire presence of the cemetery shifted in a way that they could feel in their very souls, and it made them shudder, yet also turn their attention to something large, dark and monstrous that loomed over them. They would peer up at it in both shock and fear, knowing that they weren't going to make it out alive, even if they attempted to retreat right here and now. "... It's over..." the leader of Team A said, knowing their time had come. "... We've failed you... Alpha..."
Lynne, on the other hand, who was not going to give up so easily, would fall to her knees, and begin to attempt to patronize this great creature. "Mighty Demon of the Cemetery!! Please do not harm us!! On behalf of the Wolf Clan and all our brethren, we mean you no harm!" she would bow down repeatedly, if necessary, seeming to know how to deal with these sorts of matters, for some reason. "We just want to take the spirits of our fallen Wolf Clan brethren, all the spirits of the slain Dogs and Wolves of the Dusk and add them to our forces! We believe heavily in loyalty and brotherhood, and we want to bring them to us, now that we have the power to deal with the spirits! We did not mean to disturb your peace!" she continued to bow ever now and then, showing signs of submission, hoping it was enough. "Please! Let us take the spirits and leave you in peace!!" This was her only shot. If it didn't work, they were probably all going to be dead.

"Demon...?" The great darkness inquired, wondering what they could have meant by that. She saw the girl bowing down to her and got a little confused... But then realized how it appeared to the small ones, and understood why they thought it was a demon. "... I'm a Goddess," the darkness said, finally figuring out how to milk this for all it was worth, "The great and powerful Goddess of Darkness; The Kurogami. You have entered my domain!" Since it looked like they were being really submissive, and didn't understand that this Goddess was simply playing around, she would act all 'Goddessy' toward them whilst she was getting the attention. "... Uhhhh... Pay me a tribute! Or something..." The Kurogami wasn't really sure on how to be a 'Goddess' all that well, but having seen a lot of things about them, she knew that there was always some sort of tribute or something like that.
Subject: Re: Wolf Clan; Pack Pact Tue Feb 16, 2016 8:24 am
Lynne would continue to bow to her, seeing that she was finding favor in the Goddess of Darkness. "What kind of tribute do you desire, Goddess of Darkness!? Whatever it is, we'll give it to you if you'll let us live and let us take the spirits of our fallen brethren!" The rest of the clan was surprised that Lynne was able to communicate with this giant menacing creature, and would remain silent, looking on and hoping all went well.

The Kurogami smiled wide and wicked, giggling in a gurgled manner. Suddenly, when she spoke, her voice became sweet and adorable, like a little girl. "Be my friend and come play with me again sometime!" Though her smile seemed twisted and sinister, it was simply her manner of expression and nothing else. There was no true wickedness in her, and she simply liked to appear scary. She took heavily after her father, of whom had done the same things in his youth. She really thought it was cool when he did stuff like that and wanted to be just like him, too. "Deal!?"
Subject: Re: Wolf Clan; Pack Pact Tue Feb 16, 2016 8:33 am
Each of them were shocked, stale-faced, and somewhat stunned that they would receive such a request. It was simple, but completely unexpected. "DEAL!" Lynne said quickly, not wanting this opportunity to slip away from them. "If no one else comes, I will! I'll come and I'll even tell my boss about you so that he'll let me come, and maybe come, himself!" She could do at least this much. Even if she thought all of this was nothing but a game, at least she didn't want to actually kill or harm anyone. Perhaps, from the Goddess' perspective, this wasn't dangerous. Perhaps, she had more control over these events than the Wolf Clan knew about, since everything seemed to stop when she rose up. Yet, none of that mattered as much as their mission being complete, and it seemed like it would be done. "Now, will you release the spirits of the canines that have fallen in this land to us and let us be on our way?"

"Awesome," the Kurogami said gruffly, raising her giant dark arms up into the air from their place on the ground. As they were drawn from the land, so would all of the souls of the canid spirits that existed deep within the earth, brought from the depths of the land. Hounds, Wolves and even Hellhounds were risen from the dead, both in Spirit and in Flesh, and the entire cemetery would be filled to the brim with the thriving life of the undead. The Kurogami's arms would remain in the air, hovering over the undead like a puppet master's, with an interconnected web of barely visible spiritual threads that were connected to her fingertips and spread over them all. When it was sure that they were secure in their undead life, the strings would snap, and the undead army of hounds would be let to go with the Wolf Clan. "There ya go," she said pretty casually, raising another of her 4 visible arms to scratch her head a little bit. "Oh, and if you can, bring me something to eat. I like... Uh... Bad guys. Yeah. Bad guys. I love to eat them. That's how you can pay respect, or sacrifice, or whatever. Fresh kills." She licked her lips at the thought of having them, since she already knew what was going to happen when she got her hands on them. "You guys can like... Get out now." The Kurogami would watch over them as they departed the cemetery, making sure their travels were safe.
Subject: Re: Wolf Clan; Pack Pact Tue Feb 16, 2016 12:14 pm
The Wolf Clan looked on at the spectacular display of the rising dead, both horrified and amazed at the spectacle of them all. Lynne was especially pleased, and would look up with joy to the Kurogami for being so understanding and not nearly as terrible and terrifying as she thought. "Thank you very much, Kurogami! I will see to it that you have your fill and your friends! Your kindness won't be forgotten!" From there on, the Wolf Clan would reassemble at the entrance to the cemetery along with their new legion of undead, spiritual and demonic beasts and be on their way back to the Alpha in Dusk City to show him just how successful their mission had been. Lynne would always remember this Dark Goddess and be sure not to forget to come back. She was loyal and true to her word, especially when shown kindness.

When it was certain that the Wolf Clan was on their way and out of sight, the Kurogami chuckled to herself, lowering her arms and saying to herself, "... I knew I was gonna like that girl." At that moment, she would lay her gargantuan black body over the entire cemetery, letting it seep through the cracks of the dust of the earth and between the tombs. All the slain would lower along with the darkness, until eventually, her dark body was no longer seen, and she would return to slumber, resting in peace.
