Spontaneous Creation

The damaged Creatrix Genome, not having fully repaired itself, would appear randomly in the Valley of Water from the Cavern of Awe, random distortions emanating from all around it. These distortions would eventually spawn a vicious creature above the ice blockage created by Sakai before the Creatrix Genome disappeared in a flash of light, still attempting to repair itself.

The creature that was created was a Desert Moth; something that was not native to a land filled with so much water.


The water in the air irritated the creature that was supposed to be in dry and arid land, and in a frenzy of discomfort, it would beat its great wings and create a sandstorm. Instead of normal pollen, as most moths have on their wings, this one had sand. The powerful beat of its wings as well as the vicious sandstorm would cause a terrible collapse on the valley walls. Several large boulders would fall into the water, breaking the ice, but at the same time, blocking off the passageway with the large boulders.

The angered creature fluttered about, screeching violently at the irritating environment, flapping its wings and spreading sand all over the place. Eventually, beaches would pile up around the rocks, soaking up some of the water. The violent screeches of the creature echoed throughout the Valley of Water, which would reach even to the ends of Balneal.

The Desert Moth continued to flutter around the open space, the sandstorm it created following behind it in its wake. Unable to find a way out of this uncomfortable environment, it would begin to flutter toward Balneal, where it picked up on the readings of life from the subtle vibrations in the atmosphere with its antennae. As it moved, the sand would pile up around the edges of the water, forming little beaches on the sides of the valley, like little walkways. It wouldn't be long before it reached the City Bathed in Water.
