Concentration

"The Clock Tower of Nephthys," spake a woman who was just emerging from the commonfolk of the Central City of the Dusk. "Never thought I'd be so happy to see it do what it does. Heh." For the first time since forever, it would be ready to go. "Baby should be all charged up, too, eh, Tina?" Taijitu, the woman of interest who was speaking to the Veritas, itself, stood before the grandiose crystalline tower that towered over all La Crysta ominously with a face that seemed to tell more than time. It was as if this single obstruction watched over the entirety of the fullness of the Crystal City of Dusk, and for quite the good reason. "Might wanna let Tabi know what's going down before we 23-skiddoo. Yeah?" Naturally, that wouldn't be needed to actually tell Tina. She was the brightest of all her sisters. "Yeah, you got this. You're a big girl. Making Daddy proud." Tai always referred to herself to the ones familiar with her as her 'Male' form, because she was aware that her True Form was a Male and not a Female, even if she was in a Female form presently. "Daddy loves you, babe." Tai walked through the ambiguous plane that the Clock Tower's internal interface was set to, whatever time or place it was (naturally, regulated to a specification that was beneficial to Tai, herself) and let Tina handle the rest. "Get us home, sweetheart!"

The Blue Moon hung high over La Crysta, as it always did. Though it was the same Blue Moon that had seen many a-Dusk, the residents were still ignorant to this very day that they were not in the same city that they were in even probably just a few minutes ago. With whatever sort of disturbances the Dusk Citizens got into that were ultimately detrimental to themselves and their society, the city was destroyed in secret and replaced before they could recognize it as often as necessary with no real flinching in between. It was nothing but protocol and exact procedure, and no one needed to know about it, lest their fear out of ignorance cause them to do something in their panic that would end them with the same fate again, only prior to their discovery prematurely (which indeed happened once or thrice throughout the continuity of the Dusk's perpetuity in the background).

"Ugh, they fucked up AGAIN?" Queen Archdeath complained as she swooped down from the sky in the light of the Blue Moon, her wings outstretched and revealing her slender form garb in tight-fitting spider silk. "These little imps are about to piss me off." Queen Archdeath, who had knowledge beyond any of the residents and potentially many of the foreigners, as well, grew tired of consistent failures because of someone in the city succumbing to some sort of Sin that the Tensei family was trying to purge or at least keep out of their products. There was enough of those things in the defective worthless crap littered all over the multiverse for there to be any of that garbage here in the Veritas. "Guess this one's another dumpster baby, huh?" She sighed heavily with a great deal of frustration. "Well, at least I won't be upset for long." She couldn't handle being upset for very long, either, without taking it out on something, as she always did.


Queen Archdeath turned her attention to La Crysta from the corner of her eye and a sharp, sleek piercing glint of light cut clean through one of the buildings and dropped down on the heads of whomever, wherever, to cause the first of the inevitable signs of chaos and panic. "Oops," she said sarcastically, getting ready to total the remainder of the city and slaughter everyone in it. "Guess I'll watch the little ants run around for a little bit before I go back and watch them do something else wrong later..." She sighed, lowering herself to the top of the clock tower into a seated position, folding her wings elegantly over her legs and crossing them. She waited and watched over them with her cheek buried in her open palm, resting her elbow in her lap and her head on her hand with a dull expression on her face. She tried to think up ways that were creative to destroy people, since she was getting bored with all the other ways (undisclosed) that she'd destroyed things beforehand. She tapped her finger on her cheek a few times in her pensive thought.
