Weapons (WIP) Natural/Signature Abilities (WIP) Echidna Info The goddess fierce Echidna who is half a nymph with glancing eyes and fair cheeks, and half again a huge snake, great and awful, with speckled skin, eating raw flesh beneath the secret parts of the holy earth. And there she has a cave deep down under a hollow rock far from the deathless gods and mortal men. There, then, did the gods appoint her a glorious house to dwell in beneath the earth, grim Echidna, a nymph who dies not nor grows old all her days. Known as the famed 'Mother of All Monsters' and to some, the 'Queen Lamia,' the Echidna seems to be the highest form of Lamia that there is. Like all Lamia, she has the upper half of a human with the lower half of a snake. With her special ability, her first born child is of her own race; a Lamia, or even more specifically, an Echidna. However, the rest of her children will be numerous other monsters, spawned at random, from any given type, species or classification. The stronger her mate is, the stronger her children are. Rumor has it that the former Fire Guardian, Marilith, was an Echidna. Cunning miscreants by nature, their lust guides them due to them finding it necessary to procreate to keep their very rare, but powerful race alive. As such, she is able to take on any monster, any species, any class or race with just as much lust as the other. Her seductive ways and charming allure can draw in any male before she coils around him and uses him for her will. If she finds her mate to be unsatisfactory, he will typically become her food, and on rare cases, her servant. They love to lurk and live in the deepest recesses of the earth, unknown to most. Rarely dwelling outside on the human plane, when they do, they tend to spend their time in the swamps to tempt unsuspecting men and drag them under into the Unknown. Because they typically spawn from the Black Swamp, it is believed that they live in the Zero World and have a hand in the creation of other beings when populations are too low. Thus, even an extinct being has a chance of being reproduced by an Echidna, if one is to be found in the deepest recesses of the earth... But you'd better be able to fight your way out, lest she keep you prisoner or consume you. On the assumption that the person who finds them is powerful enough to not only harbor their child, but escape their clutches alive (or sometimes, even on good terms), the Echidna scatters treasures about caves and places they lurk to lure people into the center of their home. With her incredibly powerful magic, she is able to take on different forms of other creatures, as well as completely overtake the minds of even the most powerful who are within her magical influence. Thus, there are few mighty enough to escape, and even when they think they have, the person at their side will be the Echidna. | |

| Name: Sprite (Faerie) Species: Fairy/Sprite Specific Species: Nymph, Undine, Ignis, Sylph, Nox, Lux Type: Fairy/Sprite, Divine Being, Aerial Elemental Affiliation: None Combat Specialty: Magical Sociability: Friendly, Fun, Happy, Cheerful, Mischievous, Innocent, Energetic Threat Level: Low-Medium Habitats: Blossom Fields (Common), Mysterious Estuary (Uncommon), Sky Garden (Common) Weaknesses: None Immunities: WIP Item Dropped: Fairy Dust, WIP Additional Info: Etc. Weapons None Natural/Signature Abilities Fairy Magic and stuff Runes Magic Circles Pure Aether Sprite Info The Faeries, which follow the fairy queen, Titania. This species forms a majority of the 'Sprites' that live throughout the world, this being their most primary form. They all have powerful magics, however are not very skilled in physical combat, their combat abilities consisting of light slaps and such. They are cute, graceful, elegant beings that move across the air with ease and beauty, but are also very innocently mischievous at times. Their counterparts are the Pixies, which are knowingly mischievous to get people in trouble, as opposed to the Faeries, which do so with an innocent heart. Child-like in appearance, they are able to change their size and shape as they become more proficient with their skills, and also as they grow older through natural shifting of their magics. Thus, they start to take on a less child-like form and more of an adult one, becoming much larger, as well. They typically sport insect-like wings or wings of some kind visible on their backs, but more powerful Faeries are able to hide their wings and assume a completely human form. Their very spirits create a powerful aura around them which tends to twinkle the skies like fireflies or stars, which many get them confused with. They are fun loving and enjoy singing and dancing, especially as children, and generally mean no harm nor ill-will to any creature, no matter how powerful their magic is. Because they are beings comprised majorly out of pure magic and energy, they are able to control high amounts of it with ease, despite how small they are (generally). Many Faeries that adapt to elements become specific types of Sprites, such as an Undine, which is attributed to Water, or a Sylph, which is attributed to Wind. Some Sprites do not ever take on an element in their growth, however. When they are defending themselves, they are able to create runes and magic circles as well as open up portals to different realms at will, as well as instantaneously teleport. This makes them hard to catch, but because of how frail and weak they are in their smaller form, this is necessary, as well as the generation of powerful barriers. If there is a group of them, they will have enough power to transport other beings into the realm of the Faeries, where their fate will be judged by the other Faeries. These creatures are said to be the 'spiritual' versions of the Witches, and in fact, the Witches are the 'physical' versions of the Faeries; the Witches have a more chaotic nature where the Faeries have a more playful nature. Both have exceptionally high aptitude for Magic, but Witches are more in tune with their animalistic instincts (Being similar also to normal Man), which makes them quite destructive and naturally chaotic if they do not learn to control it. Thus, the equivalent to Witch and Faerie is that of Man and Angel, and to Witch and Beast, Man and Demon. | |
