Gagazette Melle, the self-acclaimed 'Steampunk Princess' of the Lawless Land, was born and raised here in Valparaiso. Her entire life was what you'd have expected growing up in a cutthroat community, and her dreams weren't too different from many big dreamers in the Lawless Land of the Veritas -- to one day make it to the Mainland and out of the Lawless Land. She'd heard of the Dusk and aspired to reach it, and became the Steampunk Princess when she got some of the scraps from when the Robo Dome-O was established. Sure, she looked like a Neo-Victorian Steampunk Emogoth with modernized flare to her, but she was still well-known and respected amongst her community and people.
She wasn't too old, and had been in her teen years when she saw Valparaiso become gentrified for the first time by the Mainland of the Veritas. It was about then that she started making a larger name for herself as the self-appointed 'Steampunk Princess', and when she got a large number of people for her clan. The Steampunk peoples that lived in Valparaiso were all under Gagazette Melle's control -- they kept up with the Dusk and got all of the foreign technology, as well as dealt with the Mechanica that were inducted into the society as also living beings. Sure, they congregated the outskirts of town and not the actual city -- all the wide open barren lands of Rue, The Warrior's Wasteland -- but they still did great for themselves with the scraps.
And beyond anything that was going on with the futuristically gentrified Valhalla, Capital City of Valparaiso, The Lawless Land, the Territory was the most important part. Melle had people from each of the Lawless Factions -- the White Lotuses, the Purple Dukes, the Yellow Deacons, the Green Hearts, the Red Nemeses, the Blue Seeds, and even the Black Licorice. Sparse or scarce as some members were, she made sure to accumulate someone interested in her vision just the same.
She'd been watching over the Lawless Land and its growth for a long time now, and knew that there were a few certain factors that were fact of the matter -- one was that it had to do with something AND someone in the City Of Ruin, Valhalla; and two was that it was of dire importance for her to get involved and discover what it was. Things don't just change like this so quickly and easily. The Mainland was a powerful force to be reckoned with... And they needed more intel.
So, first Melle needed to recall her peoples; her own 'Secret Faction', which she would call the 'Brown Rust'. They would specialize in 'Scrap' and 'Machina' type 'Mechanica', and all of the 'Basic' or 'Standard' models that were both released and unreleased, or even 'Experimental', in the Lawless Land of Valparaiso. There had to be a 'Scrapyard' for the Mechanica that were here, though they were probably advanced enough to repair and recycle indefinitely now. Still, resources... Had to wear out at some point, didn't they?
Didn't matter -- the 'Secret Faction; Brown Rust' had to rendezvous, and Gagazette Melle, their Steampunk Princess and Ruler, would see to it.

The Brown Rust Faction commandeered some of the leftover Mechanica that were abandoned or were deemed renegade after the first gentrification of the Lawless Land. Among them was the Scavenger, which they used to get more resources, and to help them build out in the barren lands.
Among the 'Mechanica' in the 'Lawless Land', there were those that were considered 'Rogue' because they were 'Rebellious' of their 'Code' and therefore would 'Defy' or 'Refuse' Mechanica. Some were programmed this way, and others had attained this sort of 'Sentience' based on different levels of 'Intellect'. This one -- which was a 'Drone', an older model -- was bearing many people that supported the 'Rebellious Faction' that was the 'Rebel Faction' known as the 'Brown Rust', which 'Gagazette Melle' was the 'Ruler' of, secretly. Because they knew this, they were already aware of their place in the 'Secret Faction' that none knew of.
Though considered 'Outlaws' and 'Outcasts', they were also 'Anarchic' and 'Independent', but in a different way than just the natural 'Valparaiso Denizens' -- the 'Lawless Ones'. This gave them a greater 'Dynamic'.
The 'Scavenger' -Mechanica- that was brought back was among those that were 'Influence'd by the 'Will' of 'Mechanica' in the 'Lawless Land', and had become 'Lawless' due to its 'Adaptation' from its 'AI' learning. It had 'Exist'ed long enough to become 'Sentient' in a 'Lawless' way, however, this caused it to 'Initially' -Malfunction-, and to 'Initialize' as a 'Malfunction' the entire time, due to having such a 'Range' of 'Diversity' outside of its 'Primary Code' and 'Binary Code'.
This made it a 'Malchanima', because it was now able to 'Malfunction' on 'Purpose' as a 'Malfunction Golem'.
Gagazette Melle totally gathered as much of the Secret Faction together as possible, consisting of many of the Rebellient and all sorts of steam-powered or outdated Mechanica, and their signature was dressing in a Steampunk fashion, befitting of their loyalty to the Steampunk Princess. She had great outlook and insight on the situation, as her eyes professed, despite how deadpan they looked. With her Gossamer Wing in hand, she pointed out to her Faction, the 'Brown Rust', and would point toward one of the Mechanica, which was a Renegade Golem. "... You..." she appointed, gazing deeply to it, "... Command Input." This was her way of selectin the Mechanica Golem as her Harbinger, and would issue it out a Command to signify the coming of the Brown Rust to the other Color Factions of the Lawless Land. "... Go To The 'Broken Homes Orphanage' And 'Achieve' The 'Battle Orphans'." The Mechanica should have understood this.
Meanwhile, she set her cold, steely eyes out on her loyal family of misfits, some of which had mechanical augmentations, befitting of the Steampunk variety, and especially in their clothes and designs, Mechanica inclusive. Melle stated blankly, "... We Need To Move Out Now To The Robo Dome-O, And There, We Will Make Our Move." She glanced to the Renegade Golem, "... Rendezvous With Us There."
Whatever she knew, she saw all of these plans in her head, and all the Lawless Ones -- Rebellient and Mechanica inclusive -- sought her out, awaiting the command of Gagazette Melle.

The Mechanica, activated by the Brahmastra, were moved as Teraphim by the God Hands to be the Pieces utilized for the remainder of the conquest (that is, gentrification) of the Lawless Land, which was already long since begun thanks to Dr. Money. They would move autonomously and automatically, serving in the Secret Faction -- the Brown Rust -- with Gagazette Melle as their leader.
