| First topic message reminder :Being led swiftly and promptly through the corridors of the rather large gothic-style cathedral sort of school, which looked far more grim at night than it did in the day, Tear would bring the visiting Krikor out of the rain and to his 'Death Chambers,' which was a room that was, more or less, completely pitch black save for the light of a green moon that shone up in the sky and tinted the room slightly green whilst remaining predominantly blackened; at least enough to be able to see everything without tripping over or bumping into anything. It was clear that this place was not the same sort of realm as the one outside, and seemed to be some sort of isolated realm in and of itself.
"Ah, mind the stairs when you come down; it is hard to see, even with the light of the green moon, for eyes that are not adjusted to coming down here." He felt it was best to warn Krikor of these things, since they were definitely things that could have him slip and fall somehow just because he may have accidentally missed a stair. "Sit. Relax! May I offer you anything, or do you just wish to talk right now?"

| Yumiya lowered his head after hearing the thorough explanation from Tear about why he couldn't unlock his soul before. He had no idea that it was actually he, himself that was holding his own soul back... Well, how could he when he didn't even know it was possible? But, now with the explanation, it all made sense. He was the one avoiding people. Being reserved. Closing himself off... And thus, that meant that he was also closing off his soul and couldn't have it awakened because he wasn't allowing it to be opened of his own free will. These things were clicking in his head, but it still made him a bit upset to know that it was all his doing and not anything else...
... But Krikor's words of assurance quickly uplifted him, as did his presence in general. Just like Tear said. Suddenly, the weight on his chest had gone away, and he lifted his head with a smile toward Krikor. "Thank you, Krikor. Somehow, that makes me feel like I can, too." He turned to Tear and nodded his head, eyes now filled with determination and fervor. "I'm ready," he said decisively.

| "Hmhmhm~..." he chuckled under his breath, finally pleased to see that the boy figured it out. "And all on your own, too..." He looked up with half open eyes to Krikor standing in the background, providing encouraging words that were supportive. Perhaps, he would get to see his soul, too. "Well, there was some help... Naturally." Some things that are specific only for a single person cannot be overcome with a large amount of influence of others, but that small influence can create a larger result.
He finally stood, "... Well then... I presume it is about time for me to look deep into who you truly are, aren't I...?" He normally didn't explain what was going on, but since there were students new to this phenomenon, it would be better to make this an 'in-field lesson,' so to speak. It's never not a time to teach. "Hmmmmm..." Tear would begin his Soul Notation with his eyes, piercing straight into the true self of the young Yumiya.

| Krikor watched Tear intently, wondering just what it was he was doing. He hadn't been given the specifics on how unlocking one's soul worked, but it was fascinating to behold. He knew there was much more to Tear than met the eye, and seeing him do this confirmed his belief.
He also thought about what Tear had said. Would he really unlock what was in Krikor's soul? Would he be able to? Generally speaking, he tried not to open himself that much to anyone for risk of exposing something he'd rather keep hidden. "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it," he thought to himself, continuing to watch Tear and Yumiya. _________________ Leaving Earth -- A Requiem for a Lost World

| (Wonder Garage - 'Repair Center' ) Yumiya was a little nervous at first, naturally, to have his soul looked into, again... It felt a little invasive... More so than ever this time. Perhaps it was because he was allowing a little more of it to be viewed by Tear. Since it was more open than it was before, Tear would be able to see a little bit more of it this time, being able to understand small bits that Yumiya was comfortable with. What Tear would see when he looked at Yumiya's soul would be a soothing pink color with a large white cross on it, looking something like a Capsule of sorts. It had two tiny antennae on the top and bottom that seemed to be vibrating."Um..." Yumiya uttered, actually in a sort of embarrassed manner, "... Did it work...?" | |

| (This is the concept of 'Writing One's Post For Them.' This is to be used in scenarios where situations are to be dictated by the words of one, yet quoted exactly as they are and to be used in the post of the next. An Example would be to make a 'Genjutsu' as a ninja, or the following:) - Quote :
- What Tear would see when he looked at Yumiya's soul would be a soothing pink color with a large white cross on it, looking something like a Capsule of sorts. It had two tiny antennae on the top and bottom that seemed to be vibrating.
"Hmm..." he pondered, gazing with an unwavering glaze, "... It seems to be that your soul has bloomed a bit. As I figured." He chuckled softly, flashing his signature deadly nonchalant smile, "... You've got an interesting soul. It seems to be geared toward 'Healing' and may have such properties, perhaps something supportive of others. Possibly necessary of support in and of itself in order to provide a healing factor to others." He noticed a few other things that seemed important; the pink hue, the white cross and the two antennae. "You may be highly receptive of other wavelengths because of the necessity to take them in and mend them. You'd do well as a Resonance expert, or perhaps be crucial in maintaining established links in Chain Resonances." Tear could only think that one that stood in the background as constant healing support would be more than crucial on any team... All he'd have to do was sit in the background and be a 'Cleric' of sorts."Ah, but yes, that's only minor speculation. Your soul's capabilities are of your own to figure out as you progress. I merely told you what I was able to perceive of it the way I saw it, and in no way is the exact way it is. That is something only YOU can decide and figure out for yourself. Though, good progress nonetheless." He quickly became slightly more chipper and playful, before smiling again. "I was able to see it this time. Meaning, you can officially participate in the classes at Pandemia and further expand your Soul and Wavelength further from here." He tipped his hat and bowed slightly to Yumiya, "Congratulations. I hope to be seeing you in class later. Hmhmhm~." With that, Yumiya would be able to build on his Soul and his Willflow from there on, now that he had a basic foundation for himself established by the two of them engaging in this course of action. Tear hoped he learned to use his wavelength well and properly, since it is extremely versatile and can be used Offensively, Defensively or as Support. Surely, he'd figure it out as he further progressed within the school. With that, Tear's eyes opened with a sharp, swift cut off to Krikor's direction, his everpresent smile waning not a bit as he assembled some papers together. "And as for you, Sir Sanguimancer," he said in a playfully formal manner, handing Krikor the papers, "... Your Classes!"Tear handed Krikor a 'Program' with his own courses highlighted for him.*Note: The following is for reference only and not required to read in order to understand this post. The post is done here.Krikor Hosvepian
1. Resonance and Vibration Class - Located in the Resonance Room
This class is more advanced than the others, as it no longer simply has to deal with yourself and the way you interact on your own, but how well you interact with and connect to things around you. Not everyone is meant to Resonate, and also not everyone is meant to work with others. For this reason, Resonance Class is not mandatory to anyone EXCEPT for Maestros and those who wish to take it. Maestros MUST take a Resonance Class because they will be putting this power to use when they are using their Instruments, be they living or not. This means that for Maestros, it is mandatory to take all 3 of the classes; Soul, Wavelength and Resonance.
In the Resonance Class, one learns to connect and harmonize with things around them on a level that they are able to see the truth of the matter with their very souls. This is a very dangerous thing, because one is able to synchronize with and feel the very souls of what it is they are Resonating with, meaning that it can damage both parties in their very beings if they are not careful. Because of risks like these, Resonance Class is of a more advanced level, however can become useful for things like interacting with animals (due to being unable to speak their language, the language of waves and souls is universal). There are many benefits, but with these benefits, there are also precautions and dangers.
Actively interacting with others and learning to work in teams are prime studies in this class, which is what makes it the most difficult. Not everyone is capable of working in a team nor are they capable of opening up to others in order to be more efficient, and many close themselves off because they feel they are solely best on their own. Thus, this is why this class is not for everyone. However, it is mandatory to learn to work in a team and group environment in order to pass. Learning to talk, learning to listen, learning to accept criticism, learning to express feelings and things of that like are key. There are some that will find themselves shut off from others if they take this class, for it will expose their bare souls of who they are. It helps with learning more about one's soul because from another's perspective, one is able to see their shortcomings that they may not be able to see themselves. Then, it is up to acceptance to determine whether they can continue, and it is suggested that, if one feels too overwhelmed, for them to go to the Soul Room to meditate on these things. Students, be wary, for this class is not for the faint of heart.
2. Weaponry and Handling Class - Located in the Weapon Room
Weapon Class, a mandatory for Maestros (as they are those that wield weapons), is a class that allows one to learn to use their Instrument or Mechanica. An Instrument can be defined as a living weapon, or an object that is used to accomplish a purpose, a tool of battle, etc. etc. However, there are some Instruments that are living and have their own souls, and some that are merely conduits for the souls. A Mechanica, on the other hand, is a machine that has no soul, but functions as though it does by amplifying one's Wavelengths through means of electric conduits, most times through a generator or A.I. that take the place of an actual soul.
In years past, there were only Instruments known that were actual living beings with the capability to transform into weapon form for a Maestro to use or to fight autonomously (alone), however as years progressed, we have found a way to simulate such power and create weapons that use Soul Wavelength as a conduit, and basically function in the same way as a living Instrument without being alive. The difference is, the amplification of power cannot be replicated due to living Instruments having actual Souls, and the simulations being either smelted from a number of souls, forged from magic, or things of that nature. In short, they have a set amount of power that can only be amplified by the soul of one person that uses them, wherein a Maestro's living Instrument (known as a Soulmate) has the power of two souls to infinitely amplify each other's power. This ensures that the living Instruments (or Soulmates) are not obsolete, and that there is also a need for the simulation Instruments, which are called 'Mechanica'. Not all Mechanica require souls to be made or to be powered, however typically, they use the energy as a sort of battery pack and without them, they will cease to function. They are 'Mechanical' instruments where normal 'Instruments' are organic life forms, or simply weapons that are conscious and alive without being a machine.
In any case, the Weapon Class teaches one how to use their weapons fluidly, how to master the styles of fighting with that weapon and how to use said weapon in the most efficient way in any situation, be it combat or not. There are many special skills one may be taught that can only be done by a specific weapon, so weapons that are common (like swords, scythes, guns, etc.) will have a special edge. However, all Instruments have the capability to have 'weapon skills,' and thus those with rarer weapons (such as chakrams, circular blades, etc.) can learn how to create your own skills for that said weapon, and quite possibly teach others with similar weapons how to do them.
5. Battle and Training Class - Located in the Battle Room
Battle Class is the final class we have in our curriculum so far. It allows one to simulate actual battle within the confines of the school grounds in order to practice and tapir one's learned abilities in a safe environment, test their mettle against other students, train with instructors, against certain creatures, etc.
Because this is a Battle Class, one will also be informed about creatures that lurk about the Veritas, learn how to fight them and what to do when encountering foes. This class was added because of the rise in threats in the village in the past with not many people being informed on how to deal with them. So, rather than be trapped in the wilderness with no idea how to face a certain creature or how to defend yourself when faced with a baddie trying to scoop you up, this class doubles as an informative study class similar to what one may think of as 'History.' It teaches how to defend against all types of threats.

Krikor patted Yumiya on the shoulder once Tear had finished looking into his soul. "I knew you had it in you, Yumiya!" he said jovially, smiling at him. When Tear handed Krikor his papers, he looked over them for a moment, taking everything in. "Hmm," he said once he'd finished reading, "So there are no set times for classes, then? Tje teachers just hold them when they feel like it?" he asked Tear, his signature permanent smile as unnerving to Krikor as it had ever been.

| (Yeah, you were supposed to post here and the papers were for adding the effect of realism to the visual and the text, since Tear showed Krikor the Class Schedule with All the Classes. It's just... My own personal touch. I'll just put -end topic- on those that are absolutely finished from now on and anything without it or a 'Consecration' is still open to be posted in.)
"Naturally," Tear said with a light chuckle, "The other portion of that time is meant for hands on studying as the student sees fit. All we need to do is give you the information and guide you through it when you need help." Though, they were also rather understaffed, which also contributed to the issue, "It still is much better than the OLD system, which was to have the students come for teaching individually. *shudders*" Tear vividly remembered THAT mess. "... So, we, here at Pandemia, thought that it would probably be best if the Teachers scheduled when they had their classes and the students just come. A more of a... Collegic atmosphere to it." And how he rather enjoyed that, as well. Otherwise, it was going to probably drive him crazy dealing with designating times... And he already did everything else around here. "It also allows students more flexibility in their lives and how to manage their time, so. Universally just a better concept." He chuckled dryly, peering off to the side a bit.

| "I see," Krikor responded, looking over the papers again. "Also, will I have a uniform, or will I be allowed to wear my armor to class? I figure that since getting myself attuned to their personalities is the goal here, I'd need to bring them with me," he said, looking at the classes Tear had picked out for him. He was clearly eager to get started, but he didn't want to be the weird 32-year-old wearing full plate in class. He hadn't traveled across the Multiverse just to wind up dying of embarrassment. _________________ Leaving Earth -- A Requiem for a Lost World

| Yumiya listened to Tear's explanation of his soul and thought deeply on it. He was happy that it finally worked, but he, himself was a little confused about what it all meant. But at least now he could partake in classes more actively and get to work on doing things that some of the other students were doing now. Krikor's praise made him feel even better than he was, and he smiled contentedly back at him. "Thank you, the both of you," he said to them before they started speaking. He noticed when someone strange walked into the door. There was something very odd about him that Yumiya couldn't quite put his finger on... But something about him felt completely different.
"Um..." he muttered, wondered if he should let Tear know, "... I don't mean to interrupt, but... There's someone else here that I think is here for you...?"

| "No, there is no uniform nor designated dress code," he said happily, "Since the principles of Freedom of Expression and being as 'you' as you can be, that also includes one's style, which contributes to the unlocking, nurturing and tempering of one's soul." There may be people who, in Krikor's case, would also have special affinities to their garments and accessories, "So it would be unfair to force them to dress a certain way. Accessories and other garments are important." Not to mention, the prospect of cute girls dressing as they like and not how they were forced to was naturally something that came to Tear's mind every now and then. He is a guy, after all. He chuckled again, flashing his signature deadly nonchalant smile, "Just don't go out naked."It was then that Yumiya interrupted their little chat and brought Tear's attention to the man standing at the door, giving him 'The Look.' Tear's eyes immediately sharpened, knowing that the time had come. "... Thank you, Yumiya," he said calmly, yet suddenly very sternly, standing up, "... Many apologies, Krikor. Yumiya." He very swiftly bowed to them apologetically and started off up the stairs, "... I have some very important business to attend to. Yumiya, please be so kind as to assist Krikor as best you can in my absence." He'd greet T. with 'The Look' and nod his head again, then return to the two down in his office, "... If you need some assistance, go contact our other staff member; Tifaret. She usually is in her office in the Soul Chamber." Tear escorted T. down the stairs and further into Yomi, gazing at the Green Moon in the background. "... Again, many apologies for this abrupt interruption..." But there were very serious matters that needed to be tended to... He would step into the light of the moon and be taken into the Pumpkinheart with T. | |

| Krikor looked on as Tear and a strange person he'd never seen before left the room. "Seems serious," he said aloud, wondering what could possibly have happened. Deciding not to worry about things that didn't concern him (he hoped), Krikor turned to Yumiya and smiled. "Congratulations again, Yumiya," he said, patting Yumiya on the shoulder with the hand that wasn't carrying the papers that Tear had given him. "So, what's next, now that your soul's been unlocked?" _________________ Leaving Earth -- A Requiem for a Lost World

| Yumiya was just as confused and concerned as Krikor about the mysterious workings of Tear and this new, odd person. The air was very tense when the two of them came together and something about it was rather unsettling to Yumiya. "... I hope everything is alright..." he muttered in both response to Krikor and the situation without directly addressing him. He eventually faced Krikor with his worried disposition still quite clear on his face, eyes shifting curiously to the green moon hanging in the room. He seemed distracted for a moment or two, but eventually brought his attention back to his friend before him.
"... Well, now that my Soul is unlocked, it would be best to begin learning how to use it and my wavelength... Or to get accustomed to it and try to define it a little more..." It was clear that he'd studied up on the basic concepts beforehand, so he knew exactly what to do. The only problem was... "... I'm not really sure how to do those things, though." He chuckled nervously again, rubbing the back of his head. "... Maybe we should take his advise and go see the other instructor. Unless there's something you want to do?"

| Krikor shook his head. "No, there's nothing that comes to mind," he said, returning Yumiya's gaze. He noticed the worry that was in his eyes for a moment, then spoke again, saying, "I wouldn't worry about it, Yumiya. Tear's a strong, wise, intelligent man. I'm sure he knows what he's doing." Krikor put his hand reassuringly on Yumiya's shoulder, hoping he could allay his fears somewhat.
"At any rate," Krikor continued, "let's see that instructor. I'm sure you're going to want to try out your unlocked soul!"

| "Y-yeah..." he said shakily, eventually gaining stability in his voice with the assurance of Krikor, "... You're right. It just seemed so serious..." He couldn't help but wonder what it was all about. "... But I suppose it isn't any of our business." Besides, he also wanted to meet this instructor. Surprisingly, he hadn't ever seen her in his semi-extensive time being in here. "I wonder what she's like..."
Yumiya went off into a tangent of thought about what she'd be like, only to realize that he was the one that was supposed to be leading Krikor! "... Oh! Are you waiting for me?" He hadn't even realized that he was the one that needed to show him around, still. "Hahaha...Sorry... I got distracted." An anime sweat drop appeared over his head and he chuckled a bit before walking toward the door. "Th-This way, Krikor...!"

| "That's the spirit!" Krikor said jovially. "Lead on, Yumiya!"
In truth, Krikor was concerned about what was going on. He was surprised that Ashcroft hadn't chimed in with some cynical remark about how something awful was going to happen. No, Ashcroft had remained quiet this entire time. Krikor wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not. He tried to reassure himself of what he'd told Yumiya, that Tear was powerful and smart -- a deadly combination -- but there was still a nagging doubt in his mind that something big was going to happen, and that he and the only new friend he'd made on this world were probably going to get caught in the crossfire. _________________ Leaving Earth -- A Requiem for a Lost World
