The Vampires appeared from the shadows immediately blending in with the normal folk of the Chateau, causing no alarm nor attention to themselves as they sat littered about the room, scattered amongst themselves. They were seeking their tasty little delicacies to feed on in the midnight tavernesque environment. Their eyes were glazed and sharp, skimming over the attractive bodies of the alluring witches that just so happened to have been in the bar at the time. It seemed like one pair even knew each other.
Witch, with a sharp stare: ... Vladic.
Vampire, with a smug grin: ... Rebecca.
There seemed to be some tension between the two of them for some reason. Perhaps because despite how they were pretending nothing was going on outside, they knew for a fact that it was going to eventually destroy them if they tried to run or do anything to agitate or call upon the Living Shadow's presence.
Vladic: ... I suppose you're not looking to catch up, from the look on your face.
Rebecca: ... Save it. I just didn't expect to see you... here... *eyes darting around shyly* ... Especially not at this time.
Vladic: ... You look nervous, girl. Afraid this may be your time, or is it just because of our history?
Rebecca, scoffing, "What's it to ya? It may be a little of both."
It was clear that there was static and tension between the two of them that was different from the one that was in the air, made clear of some sort of history that the two of them shared that they probably weren't willing to share. For whatever reason, it seemed that they were both reluctant to dig it up, yet were fine with barely scratching the surface. Vlad took a drink. "Sit, let's catch up..." He chuckled, Rebecca sliding into the seat next to him, "... Might as well, eh?" He chuckled again, taking another sip.

Rebecca seemed a little reluctant to talk. She was worried about what was going to happen to the rest of them now. "Do you think it'll strike here? In front of all these people?" Vladic looked around, perusing the crowd, then chuckled and took another drink, "... Nah. I think these guys here are more innocent." Swirling his glass in his hand, he knew for a fact that some of his Vampire kin around here weren't so, though. "... But you never know. You know it could come at any time... And always hit its mark." He didn't seem as nervous about the situation as Rebecca, though, and it was very clear by the expression on her face. He snickered. "Why? You uh... You got something you're worried about?"
Rebecca frowned, "No!!" she said immediately, knowing it was a lie but not wanting Vlad to be right, "... I just... Don't know what's going to happen, so I'm a little concerned. That's all." She looked down to the bar table and tapped her finger nervously, thinking deeply.
Vlad: ... Puh. Whatever. *sip* You just know if you get caught, you're dead.
Rebecca: Shut up, Vlad!!
She pushed him a bit and huffed angrily, her worry only intensifying because she knew that he might be right. "... Well, don't you think it would be best to at least TRY to escape?"
Vlad: To where? The open street where it can see us more clearly? No thanks. *sips, finishes drink.* Besides, I think it's just better if we're in a crowd mixed in with people who are innocent because it makes it harder for us to be detected.
Rebecca, nodding her head,"True... But do you think it really matters, though?"
Vladic, now bursting into hysterical laughter, "NOPE!!!"
Phantasmagoria Mysteria, The Myst :: Creative Energy; Manna & Magic
Rebecca was confused, taken aback by his rather swift answer and the conviction in his answer, feeling a little bit uneasy. "W-why not...?"
A slender, yet oh so sinister grin slid upon Vlad's face under the cover of his empty glass, the shine of which refracted through the curved shape of his crystal goblet. He leaned over to her ear and whispered sensually,
*... Skeleton Jack Might Catch You in The Back...*
Immediately, as she sensed a chill of pleasure and fear down her spine that it was a trap to get the last few witches that thought to hide in the buildings. "Ca... Cahoots..." She could barely get her thoughts together before he sunk his teeth as deep into her neck as a knife in her back, with a twisted smile on his face as he looked at her from the corner of his eyes into hers; the last part of her body to be paralyzed specifically so she would look into his eyes as he did it... From the corner.
"AND SCREAM LIKE A BANSHEE!!!" he cried out with a sense of malicious satisfaction, darkness pouring from the robes of each of the Vampire brethren that had gathered there on that night, snatching up each and every life that was not innocent once their Vampire Overlord, Thanytoz, had given them the signal. Each of the others all chimed in, "Make you jump out of your SKIN!" After sinking their fangs into each of the remaining populace that was under the influence of wickedness, they would partake of their flesh and tear it to bits, as vampires were known to do. "This is Halloween! Everybody SCREAM!!!"
Each of the residents knew what that meant, and there was no escaping their fate. The doors locked in the darkness as suddenly, with their last breaths, they shrieked in horror, their souls being sucked from their very throats the moment they did so and into their Night Owl assailants. Vampires were known to have armies and legions of undead and supernatural beings under them, which most of the other Fae weren't able to escalate... Save for many the occasional powerful Witch, and even then, it didn't involve numerous different kinds of creatures... Just their familiars and maybe some students. No, the Vampires took the top for a reason... And now, they were about to use their Mind Control to force their new paralyzed dummies to partake in the final bit of the show before being led to the slaughter. "Won't you please make way for a very special guy?"
The Zombie Army and the Ghosts that possessed them flocked to the seats from the shadows of the Vampires' robes, all facing the center stage that everyone in the bar could see. With the Zombies and Ghosts seated and in place, many shadowy animals sprouted from the overflowing robes and took their places on the walls and dark crevices of the room, gazing as the eyes of the Witches in the shadows, since their essences were spread back into their Animals and were no longer they, themselves. All the wild beasts then said in unison, once they were in place, "Won't You Please Make Way For A Very Special Guy?" Suddenly, the song that they could all bond with came together in a manner akin to the nature of their town, bringing all of them together in harmony with a bond of Trickery, Fear and Chance that they could all respect about themselves and others, their skill and notoriety not unknown nor disrespected by any other.
"Now That Jack Is King Of The Pumpkin Patch, Everyone Hail To The Pumpkin King Now!" Their voices resounded, as if knowing that something spectacular was coming in the finale, even if all such horribleness was happening to them right now. The very essence of 'Trick or Treat' based on what they'd done, waiting for the next surprise that may jump out at them in the darkness from their King returning home. "This Is Halloween! This Is Halloween!" They even went so far as to clap their hands and sing as a congregation in a sort of unity that was unknown to these type of selfless, roguish, shady, dark individuals, their fervor rising the more they sang.
"HALLOWEEN. HALLOWEEN! HALLOWEEN!! HALLOWEEN!!!"
Suddenly, the Vampires all rose from their seats, slowly ascending into the air and silence filling the room out of respect and anticipation. *In This Town...* they whispered quietly to the masses as they lined the front of the stage, *We Call Home...* they smiled, revealing their bloodied fangs with a smile of anticipation equivalent to the ones in their seats, since even they didn't know what was going to happen when he appeared; which was the best part about their Overlord.

A Shadow Hand raised an arm into the air as though a leathery wing, of which the Vampires all connected at the Shadow to the Single Rising Shadow behind them would copy, as if puppets being pulled on a string,
"Everyone Hail..."
The second arm sprouted up from the darkness, of which would pull up with the Crystal Threads spewing from his fingertips the other arm of the Vampire Lord Servants under his Wing, creating a larger curtain of Darkness to veil his Coming,
"To The Pumpkin Song!"
The Living Shadow rose up from the darkness wrapped adorned in a black Robe of Despair covering he and his face, worn upon his back like an abysmally illustrious cape. Now, with ALL of Grim Nytoz and ALL Fae's Shadows under the control of the One Living Shadow that was their King, the Kurogami would spread his great Black Wings again and create a burst powerful enough to destroy a building, bringing down the house in a moment with a wave of Dark Harmony shared in the Hearts of Chaos beating in Unison within he and each of his fellow brethren. The building stayed intact, however, but the roar of the crowd was like the trembling of thunder, as each of them sang in unison,
"LA! LA! LA! LALA!"
The Shadow Eyes took shape after, hovering midair as a multitude of piercing red eyes that gazed into the Minds and Souls of All at All Times, penetrating their Thoughts and their Hearts through the Connection they all shared in the Darkness of the Universal Unconscious, filling in that gap with his own Eyes. Eventually, they would be brought into Absolute Despair, but with a sense of fulfillment, togetherness, joy and oneness between them all. It was like Goth Christmas, or Emo Kwanzaa. Same exact principles, different presentation. Not evil, just dark... To get a message across to those that couldn't understand things on the lighter side, and were lost without this specific piece of understanding through suffering, hardship, pain, fun, and pleasure through risk, unknowing, fear, tension and suspense. It resounded on a vibratory level that only the great Black Wings that hadn't brought down a house in a long, long time to spread with a thunderous boom with only a gentle undulation of a flap... The Silent Pitch Black Wave.
"LA! LA! LA! LALA!"
Soon, the Living Shadow started to take on a Physical Form, as first a Skeleton, the bare bones, from the head down, along with a certain fleshy Corpse Bride companion nearby growing out from the fingertips of the Shadow Hands that pulled even her strings, as well.
"LA! LA! LA! LALA LA!"
Immediately, the partaking of the flesh between them would spread over his bones whilst his soul seeped into her empty, lifeless form, until they were both in the image they both created for themselves together to appear before the populace.
"LALALA!"
The Grim Reaper and his Angel of Death; King and Queen of Allsgrim, the Netherworld of the Living Shadow, of which the both of them were bound to in each other and themselves.
"WHEE~!"
The entire realm of Allsgrim cheered, as if finally knowing what the taste of freedom was, no longer having to hide their true natures and selves in the shadows. They were stimulated somehow in a way they'd never once understood before being paralyzed by their fear of each other and themselves, realizing that they were no longer in danger from themselves nor anyone else. They could actually live peacefully with each other as long as none of them thought that another one was going to play a 'Trick' on them or turn against them in some way, yet to always be aware and cautious that someone could and would. Where all their mischievous fun deemed 'evil' now always ended with something good, as long as the intent was at the very beginning or BECAME along the way, even if at the very end. This was the decree for all of Allsgrim, and Thanytoz would show them how as though pupils to his ever present Shadow Eyes and fingers to his foreboding Shadow Hands over their Life Lines.
It was here on this day that they would be bound together for eternity with Thanytoz and Meiun at their Top and Bottom, watching over them and hopefully guiding them to a better tomorrow for all time within the Darkness. Never did they ever have to come up from the Shadows, as long as the Shadows remained pure. They could still play their tricks and give their treats, as long as it was done in a manner that didn't harm them. And thus, it would become the new Halloween Town.
"Thank you, Thank you, Everyone..." he muttered, the Fae forced to applaud simply from stimulation and natural reaction... As well as a little well-placed Brainwashing and Hypnosis that Vampires were known to be masters of. "Don't worry. Things will get better soon with you All under My Wing..." This entire Land was under his Protection; under his Wing as those that he would teach, instruct and guide to greater and better lives without them having to give up the darkness they loved so much. They would all get cleaned and taught well as to not do what they'd done in years past again for another year, so their hearts could be Seasoned Properly for the Season of Giving after the Season of Atonement.
He turned to his dear, who was now in the flesh and smiled, hoping that she was satisfied with this sort of cleansing of the land. They had a lot of work to do with the clean up in order to bring down the remainder of the Faerie World and all their secrets, which would bring the Dark World out of the Darkness and into the Light. Then, the Sprites and Mermaids and all such other creatures would thrive again, just like in times of yore.

The darkness blanketed her like a Dream Robe of Black Velvet wings, hugging her tightly and protecting her as long as she didn't fight its influence. It would remain upon her back as it had always been since she first came to this world as Friday the First, and carry her always back to the one who gave her that Living Shadow that supported her through the next 12 after her. From his embrace, she would emerge from the Black Wings of Thanytoz as naught but a mere thought; a dream that he'd long since envisioned that was now, through his touch, coming to be.
"... Alright, show's over, people."
She never was one for that much attention, even at spectacles such as this one. Already flexing her control a little, she would gaze at the entire crowd that had just come together in brotherly love and tell them straight up with a dark passion,
"Go Home."
All she needed to do was see the end of the show. She was tired and the streets were filled with blood from everyone that had just been slaughtered, and it was clear that they were going to have to clean up this mess. "Clean yourselves up." Last she remembered, most of them were still splattered all over the pavement. Last she checked, in the Spirit World, you always had to clean up your messes that you made, lest you suffer some sort of horrible curse on your soul that is your very being in the afterlife. Plus, she totally wanted some alone time with Thanytoz and didn't even feel like being nice about it. She was totally done with all that. Pointing to the exit, she would lift them all from their seats and hurl them outside into the bloody mess that they had to clean up. "Don't kill yourselves again trying to figure out how to conceive working together to get a POSITIVE goal accomplished." She snickered, turning to Thanytoz with a stale face.
"Successful capture, General," she'd say, now feeling comfortable enough to take off her hood and be a little more expressive and informal, which she found difficult to do with a lot of people. There was a wicked hot smirk on her face as she chuckled grimly, "Barely know what hit em." As it should be.

If no one else, the two of them always cleaned up the nicest after a bloodbath. In fact, it was as if they had never even gotten dirty at all, returning to purity inside of the Darkness that others seemed unaware of how to obtain. In time, he knew, as long as they were taught well and with guidance this time. But right now was not that time, for they needed to pick up their Dry Bones from the street and put themselves back together again, but as better people this time. Thanytoz and Mei, on the other hand...
"Good work, Commander," he said with a soft grin, now feeling as though he could be more of himself as well, since there were things that he just couldn't and wouldn't do in front of a crowd due to etiquette and manner that he would totally completely do within the personal privacy and comfort of his own home and with someone who he shared such a personal bond with that it wasn't necessary to uphold all the time due to a mutual underlying understanding shared between the two parties in an unspoken yet completely shared and agreed upon bond. "Our Curse is Broken and the Legend is Complete." He shot his signature sanguine gleam from his eye shrouded in the darkness of the now completely vacant Chateau that only veiled that single side of his face. He knew what time it was IMMEDIATELY... Time to Finish the Job.
"Now Fall..." *snatches Meiun by her neck*
'Into The Shadows...'
The same sharp toothed shark smile slipped upon his face once the coast was clear and a rising intensity overcame him and his abysmal eyes piercing straight into her heart, seeking to drain this delicacy of its sweet juices, licking his lips and sinking his teeth straight into her chest, not even wasting time with the neck. It was almost like he'd been waiting for an eternity, and was QUITE parched.
*slurp*
And she would be the last sip of wine in the bar for the night... As the two would sink into their darkness as his fangs sank deeper and deeper into her heart.
