Peace Chapter 6; Black Friday

In the darkest part of the Veritas where no light got in or out, Ty, the Allmaster, appeared with his crystal grimoire in hand. His sleeveless shirt fluttered in the windless abyss and there was a smile on his face that showed signs of anticipation.

"Today Is A Day," Ty said, opening up his tome, "That Mayhem Reigns Supreme." He closed his eyes and thought hard about his beloved Friday The Thirteenth Fairy, calling out, "Black Friday," as though to iterate what day it was. But he was not denoting the day as much as he was summoning the dark side of the Goddess -- Black Friday, herself.

Summoned to the NeoZero World, Pandaemonium, the darkest place in the Veritas besides the original Zero World itself, Black Friday -- the majestic Dark Goddess -- suddenly appeared from the folds of darkness, the blackness bubbling over as it presented her form. Her ever worn gothic lolita skirt fluttered in the windless abyss similarly to how Ty's shirt did, and she had a light, grim smile on her pale, eyeless face.

"Whaddup, Ho?" Black Friday said rather elegantly, throwing up a rock and roll symbol with her fingers, "You Ready To Make Some Mayhem?"

Ty kept smiling, giggling lightly as his beloved Black Friday inquired upon their make of a mess. "Quite," he responded rather quaintly, closing his book and awaying it for the moment. "It Is A Day Of Much Discord, My Darling, And This Is What You Thrive On." Ty didn't care what they did, but he was going to do SOMETHING with Black Friday. "The Humans Are Unable To Go Out Into The Streets And Doom The Planet To Their Insatiable Appetite For Low, Low Prices," Ty spake, almost wanting to transform into one of his Void Bo$$ forms, Dr. Money. "So They're Taking It Online." Ty smirked. "The Internet Will Be Broken From All Of The Shopping, And So Will The Deliverers That Have To Ship Said Materials To Their Respective Owners." He giggled again, trying to hold it back. "It Will Be Absolute Madness...!"

"Online, Eh...?" Black Friday said with a smirk, "Yeah, That's Gonna Be Some Real Devastation Right There. From Getting All Of Those Orders To Delivering Them To The Aftereffect Of What Happens When Everything Is Done Online." It seemed like Black Friday knew what the deal was.

But, there was only one question.

"... Where Do We Come Into All Of This?" she asked, genuinely confused as to what could possibly be the manner in which THEY were going to deal some damage to the world with their online patronage. "What, Are We Gonna Buy Up The Planet Or Something?" Black Friday asked sarcastically, "Or Maybe The Moon?" She lowered her eyelids, wondering if the Allmaster actually had a plan in mind...

Ty suddenly settled down, letting the void be his cushion for himself as he fell backward into it, as if falling onto a pile of pillows. "I Just Wanted To Commemorate The Day Of Mayhem By Summoning You, Black Friday, Yourself And Basically Just Talking About All Sorts Of Destruction." In truth, Ty didn't have a plan. He really did just want to summon Black Friday because it was the day Black Friday. "I Wanted To Get The Story In My Book On The Day Of So I Can Say, 'Black Friday And I Did Something Together On Black Friday'." He closed his eyes. "I'm Not Buying Anything."

"That's It?" Black Friday asked with a bit of anger in her tone, "You Summoned Me Just For Story Rights And Not Because We're Actually Going To Do Anything?" That kind of pissed her off. "We Can't Go Do Something Like, Maybe, Destroy The City, Or Something?" She raised her hand to the darkness and caused it to become hard underneath the Allmaster as a sign of her displeasure at the fact that they weren't going to do anything but talk. "You Know I'm All For Action. If We're Not Going To Break The Internet Ourselves, Why Am I Even Here?" Black Friday crossed her arms and turned away, her barely visible tattered dark energy wings wisping about.

Ty thought for a moment, raising himself up from the hardened darkness that Black Friday made uncomfortable for him to lay on. "What, So You Want A Sacrifice?" As is tradition. "... Maybe... I Could Create Something And You Can Destroy It?" Ty WAS the Allmaster after all. He could essentially do what he wanted anywhere in the Veritas with anything in the Veritas. The only thing that surpassed him was his own Free Will, which came and went as it pleased, sometimes leaving him without the willpower to do the things he could do... The very reason why it was more powerful than he himself.

"We're Not Going To Tear Up The Veritas," Ty said absolutely. "I'm Not Cleaning Up Anymore Messes." He extended his hands wide and spun around in the abyss, smiling. "That's Why I Chose This Location To Summon You! Because There Is Nothing Here Except The City Of The Zero Worlders." Ty pointed downward and the faint outline of a city that looked rather modern could be seen, but everything was covered in darkness and the people were barely visible. They all looked the same and they each could barely maintain their forms. "You Can Terrorize The Zero Worlders For A Little While! Won't That Be Fun?"

The Zero Worlders slaved over their desk jobs day after day, completing menial tasks and running errands around the NeoZero World to keep themselves from disappearing into the darkness and losing themselves completely. They worked tirelessly to maintain their positions in the NeoZero World and to help power the Veritas, but as a punishment, unlike those who still had their identities back on Planet Veritas, or throughout the Veritas Universe.

They saw a light for the first time in what seemed to be forever up in the sky -- a beautiful magnanimous glow that radiated more than the sun -- and thought that it meant their salvation from the darkness and their soullessness... From their punishment and servitude.

Black Friday thought for a bit, tapping her finger on her arm. She looked down to the Zero Worlders, who were looking up at them because of the Allmaster's illustrious glow -- the only light within the NeoZero World -- and saw that they had hope in their almost eyes. She snickered, smiling deviously, finding it hard to resist the temptation to destroy their hopes and dreams of leaving the NeoZero World until they earned their 'Value' back and were reborn. "Tempting..." Black Friday said, REALLY wanting to go down there and blow up the city... But... "... Won't That Mean That The Soulless Husks That Are Meant To Reincarnate After They Complete Their Work Will Be Unfairly Executed After Innocently Doing Their Jobs? We Can't Do That." Black Friday as the voice of reason?! It was unheard of. But she had become more responsible ever since meeting and marrying the Tensei, who helped break her curse of Malfortuna. "We... Ugh... Have To Consider Their... Nng... Value As Beings."

They were Zero Worlders, however, and had no value for whatever reason it was that they didn't. If they sinned in their past life or simply did things that degraded them into nothingness, it didn't matter. Some had given away their minds and souls, others may have simply been empty from the beginning. The point of it all was, however, that they could still get their 'Light' back and become 'Normal' again, no longer doomed to the fate of the NeoZero World. "Plus, They Work For The Dark God, Remember? Your Living Shadow That You Let Run Basically All Of Your Facilities In The Background?" If the Allmaster hadn't recalled, in his lower Restriction, his Living Shadow -- who was the consort of Black Friday -- ruled over all the NeoZero World by law, and even if Ty was the same person essentially, to keep the balance of the Veritas in order, he needed to maintain the sanctity of the Dark God's command over the NeoZero World and the Zero Worlders.

"Hate To Break It To Ya, But We Can't Touch Em. But I'm Sure You Knew That." It wasn't like he was the Allmaster for nothing. "You Were Just Trying To Be Sweet And Give Me Something To Do, Weren't You?" Black Friday could vibe with that. She understood that he really didn't mean to destroy the Zero Worlders nor the NeoZero World, but was just offering it to Black Friday so that she could be entertained. "They'll Destroy Themselves," she said rather maturely, gazing at the Allmaster with a tender look in her eyeless sockets. "You Don't Have To Do This Much For Me." Rather out of character for the usually selfish and emotionless Black Friday, she held a sweet spot for her creator and lover in any of his forms... Which was why she wouldn't destroy his work. "Don't Be So Reckless." A miracle that those words came from her mouth, Black Friday would start to laugh as she finished saying them. "Never Thought I'd Hear Myself, The Mistress Of Misfortune, Saying Not To Be Reckless." She smirked. "Usually, That's Your Line."

"Remarkable!" Ty said in regard to Black Friday's actual decision on her own not to do something reckless and destructive, "Truly Amazing, Meiun! Why, I'm So Impressed By Your Actions, I Could Just... Kiss You!" He gently kissed her cheek and continued to smile, saying, "Not Only Do You Understand The Mechanics Of The Veritas Now, You Also Recognize What The Functions Of Them Are As Well!" At first, she would just destroy anything on sight. Now, she was actually thoughtful and careful about what she destroyed, as it was made clear now. "Wonderful! Simply Wonderful!"

Ty looked down to the Zero Worlders, giving them a cold expression after talking to Black Friday. He was happy with her, but he was still displeased with the Zero Worlders. He knew why each and every one of them were there doing what they did as a punishment for what they'd done when they had Values. "Get Back To Work," Ty said coldly as he gave an emotionless gaze to the Zero Worlders. They were to work for their souls and their minds and their identities back until they actually achieved them, being slaves to the Veritas until they did so, just like the people that existed on Mt. Mortis.

But, back to Black Friday. "Yes, Anyway, Very Good. I'm Glad You Finally Respect The Veritas As Well As My Wishes And The System That I've Put In Place. I Really Was Just Trying To Give You Something To Do So This All Wouldn't Seem Like A Waste, But..." Ty paused, shrugging his shoulders. "I Knew From The Beginning We Couldn't Just Destroy Them." A strange one, he was, for at first he was gung-ho about terrorizing the Zero Worlders and destroying the city but now he was saying that he didn't intend to in the first place.

It really was all a suggestion for Black Friday.

The Zero Worlders heard the voice of their master and resumed their works, ignoring the light that was he himself in their world.

Black Friday rolled her would-be eyes and gave a sly smirk. "Yeah, Yeah, I'm Amazing, I Know." Still... That part of her that was meant to destroy did indeed still course through her veins and inspire her to destroy. "But... Maybe Just One--" She dismissed the thought, shaking her head with absolution. "No. No. I Stand By What I Said." She made a cute face at him and said, "But At Least You Got To See Me On Black Friday, Right?" Maybe that's what all of this was really about.

"Anyway, I'm Gonna Go Off Into Another Dimension And Destroy People That Deserve To Be Destroyed... Well, People That Won't Effect The Veritas." Black Friday blew the Allmaster a kiss and disappeared into the darkness.

Ty caught the kiss with his hands and ate it. "What A Shame, What A Shame," he said to himself, "That There Is Nothing To Destroy." Still, he wouldn't want that in his book about Peace, anyway. Unless it was something disturbing the Peace. "I Suppose That Black Friday Was The Star Of This Chapter, Keeping The Peace Where She Could Have Easily Succumbed To Her Natural Instincts And Destroyed Something." Ty summoned his book again and reviewed the account, happy that Black Friday was maturing as a deity. "She Really Does Get It Now," he said, recalling the days when he first made contact with her and she was still a reckless and destructive accursed Goddess that could barely contain her powers. "That Was... Such A Long, Yet Short Time Ago..." Ty said in recount. "Ah, Well."

And so, their Black Friday was a Black Friday of peace and maturation, not of mayhem and destruction, as it would have been in days past.

"There," Ty said, figuratively dotting his last 'i' in the book for this chapter, "That's Another Chapter Done." He giggled, starting to fade away, "... I Wonder What I'll Do For Chapter Seven...?"

With that, he disappeared, taking his light along with him, and returning the NeoZero World to infinite darkness.
