Mad As Hell

Some people just wanted to do something rebellious and started doing it.

There were other people already on that.

The rebels were defiling the land in all sorts of ways, but mostly just vandalizing the outskirts of the city and robbing folks. When it was found that there were some unknown people who weren't part of this rebel faction doing the same things as they were, they became upset.

With ire they would confront the group that seemed to suddenly appear and do all sorts of things similarly to the rebels that were trying to make a statement to the government about how the Mezzo Terra was ruled.

It was in the back alley of the housing complexes that they found these people, and confronting them was just a matter of ganging up on them all at once. They figured their gang could defeat this new gang in town.

The gang looked at them & went into a rage fueled frenzy.

As the gang war broke out in the back alleys of the town, the Delta Townsfolk were disturbed by the rebellious activity going on about. It didn't take them long to become afraid for what was to come next, since many of them were normal people that didn't have any special powers, like the people from the College did.

"THEY SHOOTIN'!!!" someone cried, even if no shots were fired. "RUN!!!" The little part of town where the gang war was happening became chaotic rather quickly, adding to the madness that was the gang war and the rage between them.

The rival gang whipped out their guns and knives and bats and chains, retaliating against the rebel gang that came at them with a frenzied rage. Shots were fired, bats were swung, chains were whipped, and knives were stabbed at whomever wasn't part of the Valparaiso Denizens, all who knew each other.

Chaos rang out & nobody could tell who's who.

As the chaos of the gang war got out of hand, some of the Delta Townsfolk who had attended the College would arrive at the scene to try to see what was causing the problem. They used the power of their Souls to fight against the gangs and separate them as best as they could. The power of the Soul that they used created a barrier between the fighters and kept them from doing anymore harm or damage to themselves and others, as well as to the city.

"What is the problem?" one of the veteran students of the College asked to anyone. "Why are you all fighting?"

The gang that was the Valparaiso Denizens took heavy damage after the chaos that ensued prevented them from knowing friend from foe, but they eventually were stopped by the power of the Soul being used by the College students.

Valparaiso Denizen: "Ehhh... We've suffered some heavy losses... Let's split for now and regroup later."

Without answering the student, the Valparaiso Denizens that remained dipped off into the shadows and disappeared, as if they were never there.
