~~~Kaolo Highland Landscape~~~

A place that had long been forgotten about at the southernmost border of the Terra Gris, creating the boundary between Magnus Ignis and Terra Gris between the Polar Plaza and the Ardent Road. It originally was a place for all to mingle about themselves and others from places beyond, however it grew dangerous. It grew cold and now is covered in nothing but ice. It has icy caves and mountains about, and tends to have monsters. Yet if one presses through it's hardship, they could find a place with a warm embrace. Nowadays, the Polar Plaza is not as harsh as it once was, and is a winter wonderland of sorts, save for certain parts. The Great Alps, which are the mountainous spirits that live there, have cast their protection and allow this place to be traversed, lived on, and interacted on, just like in days of yore.

Description

It has icy caves and snowy summits, but most of the land is pure flat white/silver snow. It looks just like a desert of snow. Yet if one presses through its hardship, they could find a place with a warm embrace. Nowadays, the Polar Plaza is not as harsh as it once was, and is a winter wonderland of sorts, save for certain parts. The Great Alps, which are the mountainous spirits that live there, have cast their protection and allow this place to be traversed, lived on, and interacted on, just like in days of yore. Beyond its icy terrain are the Silvan Trees. Within the snowy mountains, the magic academy Hollinder resides.

History
It originally was a place for all to mingle about themselves and others from places beyond, however it grew dangerous. It grew cold and now is covered in nothing but ice due to the Ardent Road being robbed of all its heat, it robbed the land closest to it of its heat as compensation, leaving the mingling ground between regions nothing but an icy desert. Deep in the mountains, where the snow is most treacherous, Maze established an entire academy dedicated to magic and the training of his legion, The Imperials. However, that is nothing but a memory lost in the white of the snow.

Frozen Flatlands
The most prominent portion of the Polar Plaza is the immense flat land covered in nothing but ice and snow. It spreads out for as far as the eye can see in most directions, and ends only when one reaches the mountain range or the Great Alps. Sometimes, blizzards may roll in over the flat lands that can cause the snow to pile up or for one to get lost out in the endless white of the snow, and hinder visibility. Be careful when a blizzard rolls in.

Arctic Aurora
During certain special times within the Polar Plaza, an Aurora will show up above the entire land and guide travelers out of tough situations and over to where the aurora originated. At this point, if they can make it to the Aurora before it disappears, they will be blessed with something special from the spirits.

Snowy Sierra
The many mountains that make up a saw-like ridge (Sierra) along the borders of the Polar Plaza. Within these mountains lies Hollinder Academy and the Hail Valley, and beyond these mountains are the Silvan Trees. They are not very high like most mountains in the Dawn, however they are quite snowy and more frigid the higher one climbs. The taller mountains tend to be more dangerous because of this, too. However, if one gets too frozen outside, heading to Hollinder may grant solace to weary travelers.
