The Sage's Paradise; Golath's Sage Training

It was the shadow of a gigantic Mushroom that Grimnyzmal would resurface with Golath from the Darkness Realm so that he could complete some Sage Training.

"Golath!" Grimnyzmal said, "You Are About To Be Trained By The Planet Itself. Are You Prepared For That?"

Golath was happy to be at one with nature and was carrying a lot of happiness in his demeanor. "Yes I am prepared to go" Golath took a meditative posture and began his training right away.

Grimnyzmal laughed grimly to himself and said, "Very Well! You Will Now Learn The Arts Of The Planet Veritas Through The Planet, Itself!" Grimnyzmal was happy to have Golath learning about these sorts of arts, since they were secret and kept within the planet, itself, which was a being that could move and live just like the rest of the beings that had physical form.

"Be Aware That The Planet Is Alive," Grim would remind Golath, "And It Is Ever Changing And Adapting, So You Will Have To Be Aware Of This And Prepared To Change As Well With The Sway Of The Planet's Natural Energy."

With that said, Grimnyzmal would take his leave. "I Will See You Later, Lad..." Grim would say before swirling his cape around himself and disappearing in its own shadow.

The environment was filled with large mushrooms that had long taken root in the grounds of the lands and created a swamp that dwelt at the center of the fungus.

The air was filled with 'Spore's that came from the various Mushrooms that grew here, especially the ones that generated 'Myst.'

The 'Myst' is one of the several different energies that the Veritas utilizes to stay sustained.

Here is where Golath would receive his first test, which was to withstand being within the Myst for an extended period of time. The very Veritas, itself, would be testing his Creative Energy, his Spiritual Energy and his Life Energy simultaneously as it interacted with him continually.

An envoy of the Veritas was manifested from the 'Myst' for Golath as a guide.

The 'Envoy' of the Veritas -- which was a teenage girl wearing a black jumpsuit with long sleeves -- would manifest from the 'Myst' as a physical entity, at one with the 'Myst' and able to jump freely through it.

"My Name Is Shinkaerei," she said, her silver hair shimmering as she crouched down low in a frog-like position, "But You Can Call Me 'Shina'."

"Hello Shina" said Golath. "The myst is captivating, now, what should I be noticing as I meditate? And what is the secret to the myst?" Golath said. The planet felt alive to Golath, as if it were already increasing his power.

Shinkaerei stood as a woman with silver hair and a black jumpsuit that completely covered her form, looking exactly like her predecessor, Kaerei, that lived now as the Veritas, itself. She was beautiful to behold, but she was very weird.

"Gekogekogeko..." Shina croaked, "You Should Notice How All Life Is Moving Around You, And How The Energy Of The Planet Flows So That You May Become Unified With It." She drew something in the dirt with her sleeved hand, but it was just her messing with the soil a bit. "This Is A Swamp, So There Is Much Natural Energy Here For You. The Myst Is That Natural Energy Of The Veritas, Almost Like Normal Air, Except With Hidden Potential Behind It."

Shinkaerei stood up, taking a deep breath and inhaling a lot of Myst. Then, suddenly, an aura could be seen around her body in the shape of a Frog.

"I Am A Frog Sage," she said, "And I Am One With Nature As A Druid. I Have Been This Way In All My Incarnations." As she spoke, the Myst thickened and the wind started to howl; Shina had control over the Planet in many ways, and she was going to show Golath just how he could have some control over the planet, as well.

"To Control The Myst, You Must Have It Run Through You And Enter Your Energy Stream. Then, You Will Be Able To Interact Directly With The Planet Instead Of Through Me, The Avatar Of The Planet."

Shina looked up at the Mushrooms and then also to the lagoon that was nearby, saying to Golath, "You Might Want To Test Your Powers On The Fungus And The Swamp Water Here, First, Before Trying To Control The Myst."

The area was full of mushrooms that were of variable sizes.

Each of those mushrooms had different spores that they omitted when they were active.

For now, the mushrooms were docile, and thriving in the Myst.

The Myst rolled gently along the paths, winding around the fungi and into the roots of trees, into the water and generally in the air. One who was here in the swampland would be breathing in the Myst, and the Myst would have an effect on them.

The Myst's effects varied depending on who was in it or not, but it had special power to enhance the Manna (Creative Energy), Willflow (Spiritual Energy) or Souzenryoku (Life Energy) of whomever dwelt in it, though in larger doses the Myst could overpower and overtake others who were not prepared for its boosts. It would serve as a toxin to them, then, and start to harm their respective Energies until they learned to coexist with the Myst -- this was Golath's training; coexist with the Myst and use it for energy without getting poisoned.

Golath would focus on the myst in a hyperbolic time state, allowing him to have expert control by turning moments of exposure into years of concentration... A rare ability across the universe's... Golath was sitting in a meditative state for 10 minutes total before he gained myst power, it felt like he was there for 2 years building power. "What's next after the myst, I feel it flowing through me" Golath said

Shinkaerei gazed with a pleasant glaze in her eye as she watched the man absorb the Myst and become one with it naturally by speeding up time within himself. It let her know that he was an adept being and could handle larger, greater tasks.

"You Are Ready," Shina croaked, a wide, froggy grin spreading across her face. "Geko. The Next Challenge Is To Utilize The Myst As Your Own Energy, Like It Is Your Actual Life Force." Since Golath was undergoing Sage training and needed to know how to work with the Natural energies of the realm he was in to be a Sage, then Shina knew -- from already being a Sage -- that learning to manipulate the element in play was the best way to get a feeling of becoming adjusted to it.

"I Want You To Use A Technique Using The Myst," Shina said. "Learn To Control The Myst Instead Of Simply Absorb It... And To Exert It From Yourself As Natural Energy Of Yourself." She croaked, "Make The Myst An Extension Of Yourself And Use It To Make That Technique."

That was Golath's next training as a Sage, since the time frame was quickened for him thanks to his hyperspeed meditation. He should have been on par with some experts with the Natural energy manipulation by now. "Use What You Know," is the last thing that Shina said before saying, "GO!"

Now that the Myst was within Golath and he'd adapted to it, he would be able to feel the very Veritas around him in all of its ways -- something like an immediate sensory overload after having frog's venom.

Through his eyes, he would be able to see rippling waves of energy in all their spectral array, from colors he knew to those that seemed only vaguely actual. His senses enhanced to the point of being able to smell through the Myst, taking in whatever energies there were rolling through it.

His entire body should have felt like a light bulb of energy that just got turned on; every sense should have been awakened.

By that point, Golath should have been able to even hear the Veritas speaking to him as he meditated, saying to him, "Do Your Best...!" whilst the Myst surged to and fro.
