Bonus Event; Sephiroth's Invitation

In the vacuum of Sephiroth moving at 'Godspeed' were after images of himself that moved as barely visible time displacements that Tensei would be able to follow in between the sight of the crowd, along with the words, "... I hope you didn't think this was over..." Though Sephiroth wanted no fight to the death with Tensei any longer, he certainly wouldn't let their fight end with just the 'warmup,' so to speak. "... Now that we've established your strength..." Each after image, wherever it was, would have a piece of Sephiroth's message which was and would be completely garbled and jumbled unless Tensei legitimately decoded the completely correct order in which the after images had been left. Getting a word wrong would cause him to waste time and possibly lose Sephiroth in the process. "How about we see how truly skilled you are, at this level...?"

Sephiroth lunged at Overlord Tensei the moment his sword left his hands. "Indeed." He was disarmed, for if this were a true Samurai Shoubu, then he and Sephiroth needed to be directly engaged, blades in hand, and fighting edge to edge at close combat. Thus, with Overlord Tensei disarmed, Sephiroth's first movement was actually at he, himself, and not where the sword was thrown. "Though you can't pretend like you weren't expecting me." Sephiroth's blade would be at Overlord Tensei's head at Godspeed, and take it off just as fast.

Sephiroth scoffed one more time.

Immediately, the second Sephiroth would dart at Overlord Tensei from the other side. Simultaneously, the first would cross over around the frozen blade and use that moment not to be moving, whilst the second Sephiroth handled Overlord Tensei, should he attempt to follow. Again, his head would be taken off, or he would be stabbed in his back should he not engage Sephiroth as he struck.

"I can see why people don't like you..." were the last words that the image would say as Overlord Tensei sought to strike it, only for the real Sephiroth, who was the one that was just completing a motion, to again lunge straight at Overlord Tensei as he was striking, and should have been quite wide open with his swing of the sword at an illusion.

Sephiroth halted just before being cleaved in two by the frozen blade left in Overlord Tensei's place. Yet, as he was cornered, and about to be thrashed by Overlord Tensei, he would flicker under the two blades, and then before Overlord Tensei on the opposite side of them, with his sword already coming down on his head. "Look who's talking." There was a time when someone didn't need to speak at all, or else they were the one that was looking for an opening, and stalling for time. Though this didn't seem to be so with Overlord Tensei, his mouth was making him definitely waste certain bits of time and attention just by having to think of or react with something to say. "Maybe you should watch your mouth."

Sephiroth noticed the frozen blade as his sword connected to it, and immediately used the force of the clash to fully propel him in a guided fashion into another fluid strike to block the next one coming at him, then immediately jumping backward just enough to make a sufficient distance between the very length of his blade and Overlord Tensei, himself. Thus, Sephiroth could strike at him from a bit of a distance, with the tip, and not be within counter or striking distance in return. Thus, a flurry of thrusting strikes began, all in a flickering blur.

"Isn't that cheating?" Sephiroth nearly chuckled, shifting his thrusts only once to sweep his blade along his side to knock away the third one, yet immediately also darted backward with his blade knocking any other oncoming sword away as he did so, to keep Overlord Tensei from drawing nearer. "If we're drawing extra appendages around here..." Suddenly, the black wing of the One-Winged Angel sprouted from his back, with black feathers littering the sky and swirling into a gust from the vacuum. The breeze carried them away. "Now what will you do?"

"Not quite..." Sephiroth said, flickering over to one of the unmanned blades over yonder in order to strike it and force Overlord Tensei to forfeit the match. It mattered not if it was by his own hand or not, it was simply how the code was set up. "Farewell..." Sephiroth muttered, swiping at the blade for an end game maneuver.

"Graceful..." said Sephiroth, as he hurled toward the next blade. Instead of trying to strike it, however, he would flap his wing and lift his body lightly in the air with a soft gust, landing on the edge of the blade with the tip of his toe. "... But you reveal too much in your intent." Sephiroth mirrored Overlord Tensei's stance and immediately hurled himself toward his opponent that their blades meet in the middle, midair.

Sephiroth would shoot off to the next blade and began to flicker before striking it.

Elsewhere, more images of Sephiroth would appear flickering all about near a random sword. Each of them swung a blade at the unmanned swords, slashing multiple times.

Sephiroth did not flinch, but furrowed his brow as he scanned the area. Each of his images would flicker into the center, converging as they would in the middle of the suddenly revolving dome of blades. He steadied his blade, ready to strike any image of Overlord Tensei that should appear before him. Sephiroth kept a careful eye out, then suddenly closed his eyes and listened rather attentively. His body stilled completely, except the waving of his jacket and fluttering of his wings and hair in the bluster of the wind from the revolution of the prism prison. He steadied his breath.

Sephiroth felt where Overlord Tensei's image would appear from how the wind blew and immediately drew up enough force as soon as he felt a shifting in the steady patterns of the wind and its blowing about, only to find the gap being Overlord Tensei's image having moved out of place to confront Sephiroth.

The blade was quickly parried, though with enough force to knock it out of its own rhythm and throw Overlord Tensei off balance, causing him to stumble and become a visible target for Sephiroth to attack. Immediately, Sephiroth darted at the one he'd parried, prepared already to thrust his blade through him with a vengeful stab.

Sephiroth felt the breeze of Overlord Tensei whisking by behind him, as the soft press of his sword nudged him into it. "... Rare form..." Sephiroth muttered, only to be knocked into a spin that deflected both the edges at his blade and his back away with the edge of his blade wing dealing with the one coming at his back, and protecting his arm. The wing blade would flap hard to knock Overlord Tensei off course, whilst simultaneously his blade would knock the image in the direction that he would guide it toward. The sword pointed the way for Sephiroth, and, once he saw, he darted off behind Overlord Tensei's image.

Sephiroth completed his flickering flash step with a firm planting of his foot, sweeping his blade immediately using all the force of his coming to an actual halt, instead of still flickering. The edge of the blade, still flickering, would have already finished hacking at the images an innumerable amount of times, by the time Sephiroth had come to a complete halt.

After this, Sephiroth began to flicker again nearly immediately, with only a brief moment where his movements were not a blurred flicker. The edge of the sword was again in motion, with only slowed down frames of its movements flickering in and out around him as he ensured to secure his area from Overlord Tensei's blade by having his own ever maintaining his perimeter. Wherever steel clashed was where Sephiroth would continue.

For a while, the images of Overlord Tensei would engage Sephiroth in direct combat, all around him, from every angle as their swords flickered back and forth. Only the glimmering flashes of edge against edge could actually be seen, something like glitter sparkling around the area at a high speed, shimmering like starlight. The resonant clangs and shings made music all their own, something like a symphony of harmonious bells resounding in time, yet at an accelerated pace. Each of the chimes made a song, and it all led up to a single cry from Overlord Tensei suddenly freezing a blade in time as it clashed with his opponent's.

"SEPHIROTH!!"

Tensei stuck his tongue out, and the image disappeared, but the blade remained frozen. Another was already at his back, along with Overlord Tensei crying out again, with more of an alluring whisper, "Sephiroth~!" His wink faded along with the flickering image, but the blade remained stuck to his back. All simultaneously, there were other Overlord Tenseis mirroring this action in variable parallel positions, each only partially askew from the rest, making it look like there may have been hundreds or thousands of distorted blurred flickering images actually dancing around him, fading in and out sporadically. More of the images would immediately halt for a moment, then disappear instantaneously after in sequential order, leaving the crystal blades frozen where they were and having already trapped Sephiroth by his own strikes. Where his blade should have been stuck in between the cracks of the blades would be where Overlord Tensei would have been meeting it at the tip, in order that he shouldn't lift his blade to strike another target that was not he, directly.

"Play with me~!" Overlord Tensei moaned passionately, but with a sort of lucid look upon his face. His eyes traced the length of Sephiroth's edge, which should have been halted betwixt the crystalline shards, locked at every angle. Overlord Tensei raised his blade up to the air, once he knew it was locked in place, and would slash his sword downward over Sephiroth's sword's tip, with intent to dismember, given the material of his own weapon being definitely of a different material. "Or, 'Say Goodbye!'" Overlord Tensei said in an unnaturally deep voice.
