 | Deep, dark caverns at the base of some of the Volcanoes that are lower in surface depth than the others, allowing for lava to flow out from the entrances and flood the Craterous Crags. Inside of the mines, the heat of the lava sucks out energy like a vacuum. Every now and then, the entire mines will fill with lava and completely incinerate whomever and whatever is within, save for things that are not effected by the searing heat. The only way to keep from being boiled is to make it through the mines to the higher points, and then back down when the lava recedes. There are known to be a great deal of precious gems and minerals here forged from the lava and the pressure far more swiftly than normal, which is why many go down here to search... Whether they come back or not.

A deep, cavernous underground crag filled with many pools of lava. One should be wary to watch their step as to not fall in. The pathways twist and turn, intertwining as an elaborate nexus between the pits of varying shape and size. They are ways away from the typical volcanic mountains, as most all of the land seems to be flat and deep underground, however they are definitely the handiwork of these active volcanoes over the years. Some of the pits erupt like molten geysers, since they are connected to the volcanoes and are the lava that has 'backed up' to sustain such pits. Whatever excess lava comes from the Hyperion Mountains ends up here, being filled and drained back into the ground before it can overflow elsewhere, allowing for clean sweeps of the entire mountain range without ever overflowing to the rest of the Dawn.
