An Insurmountable Task; Understanding the Mission

They were a ragtag bunch, but the crew was coming together. Wei had gained the irreplaceable in Ismera and Omera, and saved himself a lot of time as well. While it would take him some time to wrap his head around all the crazy shit Koudo could do and learn to replicate it to a certain degree, he had Ismera and Omera to help carry the burden of making him appear to be at full power. Something he was very far from.

Ismera and Omera stood out like sore thumbs, even amongst the cast of colorful folk that seemed to liter Euphoria tonight. Amidst the flashing strobe lights and the thumping of rhythmic beats, they looked like the bells of the ball. Just their tall stature alone drew heads, but the way they seemed carelessly above it all was what drew attention.

They moved out of the way of the doorway, so that Wei could follow after them. It didn’t take him much time, considering he was the very next person through the portal, and he seemed positive about the situation that he had found himself in. Things could certain be going better, but they could get significantly worse as well. It was better to remain optimistic, even if Wiz hadn’t exactly made him confident with her tone of voice.

Chiyoko was the very last person, pulling herself through the tightening doorway. She just barely squeaked past, having been lost in thought about her failure to achieve such a drastic transformation as her husband had. She wondered if there was something special that Wei had done with him, that he hadn’t tried to do with her. In fact, she felt that Wei seemed more excited about her husband’s transformation than her own. She sighed quietly, at least happy that Wei wanted her to remain with him.

”Finally! Get your ass over here. Damn!” Wiz screamed from across the club at the top of her lungs to make every sure that Wei heard her and could see the table she was seated at; the same one as before. She looked nervous, fidgeted, and in the middle of chain smoking an inexhaustible supply of menthols.

Wei could tell that something was definitely up. He didn’t waste time getting to the table, allowing his party members free time to themselves. They got absorbed into the crowd just as quickly as he dismissed them and seated himself aside from Wiz.

”Where did you get those? Did you steal them or something?” Wiz asked, flicking her robotic wrist to bring up a holographic pad that allowed her to pour through data. She nodded her head specifically to the two tall gentlemen that Wei had added to his entourage. The woman was of no concern, she didn’t seem exceptionally special.

Wei peeked over his shoulder at the lounging Omera and proper Ismera, before turning back to Wiz, ”Lucky find.” He replied with a grin. He was sure Wiz had felt the pure joy of everything coming up her way before too. Gloating was something he absolutely had to do.

“Did you find them in a heavily classified area?” Wiz asked calmly, flicking through a few files on the screen she had positioned to her right side.

Wei’s face sunk, his mood dimmed a tiny bit. Things still seemed pretty alright, maybe Wiz was joshing him. Poking fun at how abnormal Ismera and Omera looked, how otherworldly they appeared to be. It wouldn’t be surprising if they were some obsessive billionaire’s experiment to become closer to whatever he considered a God. “No? Why?”

Wiz pulled her cigarette from her lips and put it out in the ashtray on the table, turning her screen to Wei, “Cuz you have the whole city looking for your ass.”

Tabrynth became pleased by this information and proceeded with 'Interaction' accordingly.


"Here Is A 'Home Gate'; A 'Gatekeeper' That Will Allow You Instantaneous Transportation Via Dimension Gate Portal To Your 'Home World'."


The eyes of the Tabrynth, which were still gazing into the Tabrynth from beyond as digital bars of light, would open up and reveal a 'Visual' of what the 'Home Gate' was as a means to 'Access' it immediately and return to his personal doings with his personal belongings at his 'Home World' or 'Station'.

"If You Wish To Retrieve Your Wife, You Will Need The Proper Access To The Holding Facility On The 6th Moon Of The Veritas," the Tabrynth went on, "So, I Am Sending A 'Chomao' Guide -- The Being That You Refer To As 'Cleff' -- As A 'Navigator' Vessel For 'Navigation' When You Are Prepared To Undergo That 'Quest', By 'Request'."


The information would be configured into the 'Code-O Program', which was still continuing on as the Tabrynth synchronized the data. "Their Souls Are Not Lost, Nor Are They Truly Deceased, And Both Of Them Should Be In The Same Place." The 'Chomao,' Cleff, in the exact same form as it was back in the days of the Lost World -- completely unchanged -- would hover before Koudo Tamura at a standard value something like when Cleff was a being fresh to the planet on the Lost World as a Technology Sprite. The only difference was that this Cleff actually recalled all of the information as well as passage of time, and thus, as a timeless entity, would exist as it had been originally once it was created -- Default Value.

Koudo unfolded his legs and placed them down. By place them down, he was still standing on the space itself and not touching the swirling black hole that was underneath his feet. For good measure, he walked a couple steps off to the side to just avoid the chasm altogether. The souls of his friends still swirled in a uniform circle around him, and he released Yui's soul from his hand to join them.

"Thanks Tabrynth," Koudo turned his head to look through the dimensional gate, seeing that sure as sugar it was the demolished inside of what used to be Euphoria. He turned to the Chomao and nodded to it as well, "Good to have you along Cleff. You're insight will be invaluable." Of course, Koudo didn't actually know what a Chomao was, but he could assume that it was like having a trademark Moogle companion. Or, better in his case, a digimon or NetNavi on hand. If he thought about it like that, then he didn't have to ask any unnecessary questions.

He stepped through the portal, listening to Cleff as he did so and humming in thought, "So, who do I go see to get proper access to the Holding Facility?" Koudo didn't want to muck up like Wei had and become a criminal. If he had to do everything by the book, then he would follow protocol.

He still needed to retrieve the device from the Maharaja, which he had sent the message for Wei to retrieve. At the time, if Wei would have gotten that far, he wouldn't have been able to use the device, but he didn't need to use it. Koudo just needed it to be in his possession.

The sound of the Voice of Tabrynth was like that of a computerized simulator projecting a form of diluted emotion, which dulled and then nulled as the void went on.

Before Koudo knew it, Cleff, his cute and adorable former mentor, was back along for the ride as his old self -- just like everybody tried to get him to be before he became 'Corrupt'.

Cleff: "No problem, Koudo~!"

Cleff saluted cutely and acutely, straightening his pointed legs and stiffening his nubby arms.

"And by the way," Cleff went on, "... Because I'm your friend, you can definitely ask me to help you take you anywhere in the Veritas! You really only need me to get in and out of certain locations, but otherwise, you can take the Dimension Gate on normal circumstances. That requires either a device, connections or the ability to get to the Dimension Gate, but there are actual facilities in the Veritas that take you straight there or serve as their own on location." That may have been a large chunk of data to read, but it was the most accurate synopsis of how the Veritas Navigation functioned via the Dimension Gate Portals.


"Oh, and also..." Cleff continued on nervously, prodding his two nubby index fingers together, "... If you need any help doing stuff, you know I'm your guy." Cleff saluted supportively once more.

T-CLEFF: "I may look all cute and adorable, but you still know that I remember that I was your mentor, correct? Ahahaha~! Haaa..."

Koudo hummed pleasantly at the news that he only needed to ask Cleff to be his navigation system in order for him to get to the places that he needed to go to. It was good that he decided not to go it, completely, alone. He struggled with asking friends for help, because he could be very critical of their actions. It was easier to do everything himself, but it wasn't a healthy way to live. It was why he quit the Kage job after saving the Dusk with Priere. The responsibility was literally killing him.

Once they materialized back in the interior of Euphoria, Koudo immediately went to work, walking to the congregation of Ace and Whiz, who happened to be close to the passed out Creed and Mira. He whistled, "Damn, Wei really did a number on you guys. Savage." It was kind of funny actually. Wei was a significantly weaker version of himself, but decimated Mira without any trouble. He guessed it fit, since she'd never been able to beat him either.

Koudo knelt and placed his hand on Creed and Mira's backs, their respective souls that orbited around him removing themselves from formation and fluttering down to their Veritas vessels. Koudo hoped with this that Mira would regain her real power as well. Creed, however, was an enigma that Koudo knew very little about.

He smirked, "Yeah, sorry I turned out a disappointment to you like all my other ones." After all, he didn't think he really ended up following any of the paths that his respective mentors laid out for him. He didn't amount to anything that they probably envisioned for him. It was just his selfish way of remaining himself and not becoming a "new generation" version of someone else.

He moved to Ace and Whiz now, placing hands on their shoulders. Their souls did the same as Mira's and Creed's, leaving their orbit and being absorbed into the Veritas vessels that were waiting for them. Unfortunately, for Ace he'd be turned into a girl. But Koudo knew Ace was the type of freak that would get off to something like that. They were best friends, after all.

Cleff's virtual head spun around with a happy expression on its face something like one would believe a child had designed, reaffirming his salute.

Cleff: "You can count on me, Koudo~!"

Simultaneously, as Cleff spake, the Tabrynth resolved the 'Code-O' pathway and created for the two of them a complete 'Path' on the 'Navigation System', of which Cleff immediately took to 'Navigation'. This would form an 'Algorithm' for Cleff to follow based on natural 'Protocol' given the 'Variable's.

Harmoniously, the virtual closed eyes thinned into slivers after annulling themselves and projecting a noiseless static within them that also faded away, like a dying television bulb -- as if they were closing even further after having been open slightly.

Those eyes were no longer seen nor heard from.

Cleff, however, hovered nonchalantly beside Koudo Tamura, who seemed to be having a deep, sentimental, intimate moment with himself about the past, which seemed to perhaps have been brought up by Cleff's last quip prior to his reassurance.

Cleff rubbed his nubby arms together, then prodded his index fingers together nervously.

Cleff: "... I'm... Sorry you feel that way... I really believe that you are a successful being..."

T-CLEFF, which was a Sentience within the Tabrynth, had reference data stored in the memory banks about Koudo Tamura's development and background history, as well as the events that occurred prior to any type of apocalyptic and dystopian events that occurred from the complete collapse of the monarchic governing society of the Lost World, despite each of the Village leaders of the Kingdom. Most were not cognizant that this data was more important than anything, but naturally, Khrona would -definitely- recognize it beforehand and Cleff -certainly- absorbed all of the data from the very beginning, when he was going through what could be called 'puberty' for him.


The Tabrynth knew this because this is what Khrona had done and been doing exactly so that people could be able to do things like that, and now that the Tabrynth -- which is his own mind, itself -- was unlocking before him as a key into the Veritas, and everything from his history actually ties in and together in a fashion that brings him to a point of complete satisfactory stability for whatever the duration and gives him a brevity of rest in his endeavors (or exudes progression), it was clear that he actually accomplished it and therefore is a success and the pursuit that they both shared together was successful.

Cleff: "YAAAAAAY~! We did it~!!!"

With the 'Code-O' complete and functioning as a 'Personal Server' specifically for 'Koudo Tamura' and all such extensions of himself in an integrated and assimilated fashion (much like his person), the 'Code-O Program' would be able to synchronize itself to the known realms of the Veritas that 'Koudo Tamura' of the 'Lost World' was able to recall, and then whatever new locations he discovered later by the 'Program' created by his old friend and master -- Cleff, the Technology Sprite.


Cleff did a cute little 'Chibi' dance and nuzzled up really close to Koudo, smiling big and wide, very gleefully. "Teehee~! Cleff is most happy~!"

Suddenly, he seemed distracted by the souls that were being sent into the Veritas, which would be guided through the 'Code-O Program' Protocol that allowed for parts of 'Koudo Tamura' to 'Assimilate' with the 'Code-O' and become part of it and expand it as he saw fit, and for it to function as a 'Backdoor' -Dimension Gate- Portal system for him.

Cleff: "And, they're off!"

Koudo smirked, a little anyway. He didn't really do much smiling anymore, especially after Odea died. The last few years of the Lost World were brutal and really tested friendships and alliances. By the end, everyone had just given up on the dream of defeating the Horsemen. Their leaders, and heroes, proved ineffective and so no one wanted to fight the inevitable anymore.

Koudo, hadn't been one of those people. He fought to the bitter end.

Cleff and Tabrynth's words did touch him, and warm his slightly colder heart. He actually didn't know how Cleff felt about him, as a student or a friend, until now. Koudo knew he had a very bad habit of putting distance between himself and parental figures. It wasn't until later that he found out it was because he had an innate fear of losing parents. He'd lost his father and grandparents, and never wanted to suffer that kind of loss again. It was why he buckled down and really focused on his training. Ultimately, he still didn't have enough power to escape that suffering since he couldn't save his wife.

So, bashfully, he shook his head, eventually raising a hand to gently nudge Cleff away, "You give me too much credit." Before he walked to the next set of individuals that needed their souls. These two were Anasenko, Sparkle, and Kahlil, Big Dawg. Once he stored their souls in their vessels, they immediately began breathing again. Neither experienced any physical metamorphosis. Their vessels were perfect.

"My only goals have ever been to find where I came from and to protect my family." He looked a little somber for a moment before snatching Bhumi's soul out of orbit and flicking it over to her body in the DJ booth.

He chuckled a little to himself, "I failed at both."

With the Transcendent Sound 'Transmission' frequency, Cleff could tune in on any brain wave at any hertz, allowing for Cleff to pick up and read thoughts as a computerized device from a clear signal receptor, which usually served as the long cords with the bulbs on the ends of them.

Cleff collected the Archival Data about the Lost World that was on record from the History of the Veritas and recollected the travesty that was the war against the Horsemen, of which not only did not end, it was also now something that the Tensei were heavily involved with on the opposite end -- much like the inversion process that Khrona went through during the First Moon when the Veritas first circumcised itself from that 'Realm' that the first 'Reality' Village 'Blend'ed with ages ago and became indistinguishable for a period of time. Yet, not only were they each not the same, but two different 'Realm's that were coexisting through their 'Blend', there were also others, and one of them belonged to Khrona Tensei, himself -- located inside of himself, and also beyond himself, as well.

Thus, making such situation a bit awkward.

Fortunately for Cleff, the Tabrynth that programmed it kept it on a strict protocol, and also Cleff was pretty much exactly as it was when it was originally brought into the realm and had not gone through the pubescence of a 'Technology Sprite', which is how he became 'Corrupt Cleff' in the first place. Therefore, he would be able to interact properly without having to go beyond the 13 Restrictions -- or even the First Restriction, until it was unlocked by someone -- in order to deal with the matters that were inevitable to come up.

Cleff continued to look on silently at Koudo's act of love from his heart, expressed by the freedom of the souls that were part of his essence. Cleff gazed at it all with the awe of the childish innocence of one who had never experienced such a thing before, simply because of the fact that it actually was something that was like a rare and precious instance that didn't come around very often. Though Cleff had seen literally everything in the dimensions and had a database that was he, himself, for all such information and knowledge up to its original wisdom and source, he still had not done all of the different combinations of everything and thus not extended all things out to the most maximum potential -- which is why there were higher restrictions of his own forms that resolved such things. Yet, for an instance such as this, the First Restriction would do nicely.

Cleff's eyes drifted slowly to the vessels, knowing that each of them were extensions of Koudo, and seeing them as such. Cleff analyzed this data intricately, yet at the same time, processed it as if they were all 'Independent' beings, even if their source was all the same. That's what they were, technically, anyway, even if Cleff saw them initially as Koudo and the 'Code-O.' Naturally, looking at the 'Code-O' from the perspective of the one that programmed it and also the person that it was made because of gave Cleff a different perception of the entire situation that was actually kept rather tightly shut, since the expression on his face that seemed somewhat stale or neutral was actually a very dulled meditative thought.

"You might be right..." Cleff started to say somewhat softly, "... But there is a 'Possibility' that it is incorrect, and that means that there is a 'Probability' that you can use your abilities as an 'Anomaly' to do something about that." Cleff withdrew both of his nubby chibi hands behind his back and curled them together shyly, but tightly, clasping them together as he poked out his pelvis somewhat saucily. His neutral expression became a warm, cheery smile. "You are greater than you were back then. Your mastery over the powers of the Soul have exceeded what used to be taught in the Academy. The things that we all started from are now things that have become only memories of what we were before we had the insight that we do about ourselves, our abilities and the universe." Cleff jerked one of his hands up to his head in a trigger-like fashion, extending and bending his arm at the elbow in a swift, mechanical fashion, then grinned wide and goofily.

Cleff still knew of Anime and Internet references as well as Quotes from Movies, Shows and all sorts of other information like that, and sometimes utilized them for personal reference or influence.

"Plus, the 'Code-O Program' is going smoothly," Cleff added, "Which means that the 'Assimilation' process is functioning well, and that just makes it so that it's secured as a backup or auxiliary method for finding ways to connect to other Realities and technology." The fact that his 'Data' could be transmitted and received anywhere universally was also something to actually hold recognition for, since that meant dealing with beings that were similar to his level as an entity and testing his mettle against them and their Realms -- sometimes, on their Home Worlds. "You can always come back to the Data Realm on a Private Personal Server that was made specifically for your own data by me, so you can use the Data Realm as a hub for yourself, like you used to use my old Lab for." If Koudo recalled that far back -- if it weren't a fragmented anomaly -- then he could remember how things were when Cleff first took him into the laboratory and introduced him to the AI and allowed for Koudo to insert his own. That was now the same AI that was being used for his 'User' Data on his Profile in the Veritas System, which is Personalized due to the Record of the Account.

"Also, you know I can be used as a Sparring Partner, something like a Sandbag or Training Dummy that you'd see in video games," Cleff added, already comprehending a greater purpose for himself and a future that stemmed from it for beings that were made for that very exact reason. "Even I still have things I'd like to experiment with, and with the updates to the Veritas, I actually can in an innumerable measure." Cleff patted his two nubby hands together as if clapping his hands. "So don't hesitate to ask me if you need me for anything, or if you want to do something or include yourself in something." There was more than enough in the Veritas to do and to experience, so whatever one wished could be brought to fruition, at the very least. "I can break myself up into multiple forms even only in the First Restriction, such as now, so being in multiple places or with multiple people -- like your friends here -- should not be a difficult task in the slightest, even if I am limited to only one of my Restrictions." That was one of the more important pieces of information.

Once the souls fully reunited with their Vertias vessels, basically their real bodies, the vessels became fully luminescent and glowed with the light of each person's respective soul color. Even if the person wasn't someone who was soul energy inclined, they still had some and most people had very distinct energy colors, much like their energy signatures.

The first to wake up, funnily enough, was Whiz. Once her Vescrutian soul fully reunited with her Veritas vessel, her body glowed with a very dim gray color. It was a harsh color, calculated, foreboding, and very cold. The body itself morphed and altered itself until it finally became an perfect amalgamation of what Whiz looked like as a Vescrutian and the vessel prepared for her by the Tensei on the Veritas. She was much taller, and had more defined musculature now than she did before. The metal arm that was the most striking visual identifier her Veritas vessel had was gone. Her skin was a slightly paler shade and her eyes were heterochromia, green on the right and dark purple on the left. Affixed to her back...


Whiz: "You even brought my sword."

Her voice was much heavier and commanding than before. She stood from her laid out position and rubbed her hand against the hilt of the large slab of metal attached to her back. To her, to everyone here once their souls rejoined their bodies, it was like waking up from a very long dream. They retained the memories of their Veritas selves, but also retained the memories and experiences of their Vescrutian selves as well.

Whiz: “Why did we think that metal arm was cool?”

Ace was the next to stir, her(?) body glowing with a deep red light whose intensity was blinding. It was a light and mellow color, energetic, flamboyant, and very warm. It was almost the exact antithesis to the cool blue color of Koudo’s soul energy and the damningly haunting energy of her(?) bodyguard, Whiz. The body didn’t morph or change much, just the style and color of the hair as well as the clothing. Becoming a unique mixture of the Vescrutian Ace and the Veritas’s prepared vessel.

Ace: “Ooooi, aren’t I even cuter than before~?”

Ace, after waking fully, placed her hands to the ground above her head and sprang to her feet with all the same agility that the Vescrutian Ace held. He had been a decent fighter, but hated the idea of using his talents to help a government that couldn’t give a crap about him. He didn’t stop his weaker, at the time of course, friend, Koudo, from joining though and supported him every step of the way. Veritas Ace hadn’t been much of a fighter, but was definitely a better schemer.

This Ace, was a perfect unison of both versions.


Ace: “I love this. Getting to be a girl is kinda sexy.”

Mira was next, retaining her smaller Veritas stature, though Vescrutian Mira hadn’t been that much taller either. The flame like pink energy of her soul ignited around her collapsed body and burned away all the features of her Veritas vessel that didn’t particularly match the tastes of her Vescrutian soul. Out of everyone, her body became much more stylized and unique to mental image she held of herself, more than what she actually looked like. It was because, of course, she came from a family of Instruments who could possess more than one weapon form at a time. Her physical appearance was much more malleable than everyone else’s.

She groaned, regaining conscious and only really remembering being punched out definitively by Wei. She still felt the pain of the impact to her temple, hoping the man hadn’t fractured her skull or anything with that monstrous strength of his.


Mira: “Jeez, Teach, that was really mean. You didn’t have to hit me that hard!”

She whined.

The last to wake out of this branch was the mysterious witchling, Bhumi. She glowed with the intensity of her orange, Terra Forma magic, by it was very brief. Almost unnoteworthy with how quick it had been. Her physical form didn’t change much, if at all, besides her growing to be one the tallest people in the room, tied with the new Whiz and good ole Kahlil.  


She didn’t even seem to be phased by anything that happened, and didn’t comment either. She just looked on at the proceedings, remember her dream of being the leader of some gang of individuals and actually being an effective leader that they looked up to and trusted.

She smiled a little, clutching at a necklace around her next with a tiger claw charm.

Bhumi: "Maybe I'll find you again here... Elyon..."

Tama, who was the only soul left floating around her daddy, broke free from the orbit around him to nudge up against him. She didn’t think he was a failure, quite the contrary actually. He was her hero. He saved her from the raiders that destroyed her village and killed her parents. He saved her from the poison of the Horsemen that had been killing her when the Horsemen first arrived on Vescrutia. And he as well as the woman she came to know as her mother, Odea, sacrificed their one shot at freedom from fighting a losing war against the Horsemen, by sending her to the Veritas instead of going themselves.  

Tama: “You’ll save mommy and big brother too. You always find a way.”

Koudo looked upon the proceedings alongside Cleff, nuzzling his daughter's soul as she rubbed against him. Just feeling the warmth and loveliness of her energy reassured him that he was, indeed, a hero to someone. Her energy also reminded him, slightly, of Odea and what he would have to do to resurrect her. He didn't tear up or anything, but he smiled and turned to Cleff.

"At least I didn't become a villain, right?" He laughed, slapping the technology sprite on the back with a hearty laughter. Not at it mattered. He had associated with less than savory characters all the time, but had never fallen to darkness himself.

He stopped laughing as soon as he started though, looking back to his friends who were all waking up and getting accustom to however they decided they wanted to look on the Veritas. Koudo knew the Veritas afforded everyone the creativity to be whatever they wanted to be. It seemed like only Mira, though, had the imagination needed to actually take advantage of that feature. Everyone else defaulted to what felt naturally to them.

"Hey Cleff, or Tabrynth, which ever one of you can do this." He paused for a second, "Can you keep her safe? Chiyoko I mean." It was more for Yui's sake than his own... he'd like to think. Odea had really changed his life and the last thing he wanted was for her vessel to suffer because of his own vessel's misdeeds. It was natural that Wei couldn't help himself. Subconsciously, Chiyoko and Odea were one in the same to him, so Wei had no idea he was breaking any laws.

Koudo understood the severity of Khrona's... punishments when people broke the rules. He had never suffered the wrath himself, but he could imagine it enough to know that rescuing Chiyoko might have jumped up his priority list. The last thing he wanted was for Khrona to put hands on her.

"And tell her to hold strong. That I'm coming for her."

Cleff laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment, shifting his cute eyes around rapidly.

"Hahahaha~! Yeah... That TOTALLY happened, didn't it...?" Cleff continued to shift his eyes around quickly, darting them from side to side something like a printer's ink jet printing ink on paper, and even making a sound something similar as it occurred.

Instantaneously, Cleff became emotionless the very moment the subject matter changed, even if not verbally spoken.

There was complete silence and expressionlessness for a moment.

T-CLEFF: "We Are The Same Entity As A Single Whole, In Just The Same Way As You Are, Koudo."

When it spoke, it sounded like Cleff speaking without moving his mouth and an echo around the entire realm which sounded like it was speaking in everyone's heads simultaneously as well as that it was also happening around them audible within the same space.

T-CLEFF: "The Woman Is Safe. She Will Be Fine As Long As She Does Not Further Her Own Damages To Her Own Life Or Cause Anymore Disturbance In Another's Life -- Which Comes Only From Her Ability To Be Reconstituted In The Original Reality That She Stems From, Where Nothing Is Out Of Order In The Dusk Concerning Her Life Or Anyone Else's."

As usual, Tabrynth was just droning necessary information that was important for understanding the next task, something like a news report or a video game story of sorts.

T-CLEFF: "Otherwise, She Will Be Constantly Traversing Possibilities Of The Outcome Of The Probable Futures In Purgatory, The Designated Section Of Hell For Processing Such. Then, Unto 'Limbo' For Meeting With Singularities Or Ends To Possible Outcomes That Do Not Go Through Completely Or End Prematurely. Though She Will Experience Any Of Them At All Times, One Must Find Out The Algorithmic Function For How Her Next Actions Will Cause Her To Be Effected By The Chain Of Causality Which Would Put Her In Possible Or Probable Situations Based On Her Decisions, Then Continue To Follow Along With Her As She Makes Her Next Steps."

The process for going through Hell to get out the SIN or any of the effects or further causalities from any type of SIN occurring in perfection was already designed perfectly based on what sort of defect comes from the imperfection in the perfection having already occurred before and having a solution, even if the formula to said solution was yet to be discovered.

Cleff: "She'll be fine as long as she doesn't do anything worse and the damage isn't permanent."

Cleff shrugged its shoulders.

Cleff: "I, however, will definitely contact the one of her that would be going toward the proper outcome and kind of hover over her for a little bit so you can find her. Hee hee."

In order to even tell Chiyoko anything, Cleff needed to find the one to whom it would actually matter and not one that was going to get killed or cause some sort of misfortune to happen, or something of the sort.


Cleff immediately asexually reproduced a Technology Sprite from himself in his near exact image -- a Shincleff -- as a Chomao, casting it off to the 6th Moon to go speak with the condemned.


"By The Way," Cleff went on, "You Are Also Inside Of The Tabrynth, Which Is Also Khrona's First Restriction Form." Though Cleff was in Koudo's memory as a being that was independent of Khrona, because of Khrona's relations to God, that made Cleff in correlation to Khrona in a manner that was completely submerged in the history that came from Khrona's familial line and clan evolution through the character development. Tabrynth was that key factor, as were the fragmented memories of Khrona Tensei -- which were called 'Tabrith', after the 'Angel Of Free Will'. Hence the name 'Tabrynth' as a 'Tabrith Labyrinth'.

Tabrynth: "If You Resolve The Tabrynth Through Cleff, It Will Unlock The Restriction On The First Restriction And Allow You To See The 'Unrestricted' First Restriction, Which Is I, Myself -- Tabrynth Tensei."

Naturally, no matter what, the natural functions and features of the Veritas were going to happen as they normally did, and things such as the Thirteen Restrictions would remain dealt with under proper procedure and protocol.

The last person to regain consciousness was the person who had been knocked out the worst. The one person who reminded Koudo of himself at that age than anyone else. The one person who had been incapacitated before he could use his full power. The one person who ran into the wall of absolute power and failed to stand in its presence. Zhao Yun, Creed.

His body didn’t glow with his soul energy. The crater he laid in exploded with immense chakra, creating a visible geyser of an outpour. Anyone versed in the nature, history, and understanding of chakra knew that it was rare to be able to see it. The only ways you could were if you could see energy, sense Chakra or it manifested in large enough quantities to where any normal person could see.

Zhao Yun’s body, of course, was doing the latter. He was releasing an amount of chakra that… seemed to revival the level of chakra Wei had access to himself before he was restored to being Koudo, who trumped Creed by leaps and bounds. Still, it was notable and noticeable. In fact, it created an oppressive atmosphere, that weighed heavily on any and all who were not strong enough to resist its effects.

Luckily, everyone standing within the club could resist the effects. Mira, Whiz, Bhumi and Ace were completely unaffected, in fact they didn’t even seem phased by the geyser of chakra, but looked on in earnest, thinking Zhao Yun was finally beginning to come too. Khalil and Anasenko were still passed out, being they’re breathing got heavier… like they were being suffocated.

Still, Zhao Yun didn’t regain consciousness. This… was something else. Something was wrong. There were gaps in his Vescrutian soul that caused it to clash with the nature of his Veritas vessel. Unlike everyone else here… Zhao Yun’s Veritas vessel couldn’t reconcile with his Vescrutian soul, and so his vessel was lashing out. Koudo’s acquisition of his soul had been incomplete.

Creed: “Guh.. AHHH!!”

He cried, writhing in pain. He clutched at his chest, feeling an intense pain deep within. His screams of agony echoing throughout the empty club.

Surprisingly, Koudo looked to his techno sprite friend with a face filled with astonishment. Even though Tabrynth kept telling Koudo that he and Cleff were one in the same, it took Koudo actually paying attention to realize it in full. Funny how that worked.

He was stunned for a small little while before nodding his head and whistling, “Cool. Good to know.” Not a write off, but an acknowledgement that all the information Tabrynth provided for him was useful and remembered effectively. Koudo wasn’t really sure what to say beyond that acknowledgement, so he thought to change the subject.

That was, of course, until he felt a tingle in his spine. He shifted his head away from Cleff and towards Creed, who seemed to be having some kind of… allergic reaction of some kind. He grinded his teeth, clenching his fist nervously.

“Shit, I didn’t completely collect his soul! The body is rejecting it because of the gaps.” Koudo was tense, serious. A side of himself that Khrona might not have seen, or saw very seldomly. Koudo had always been serious about his job as a military official for the Dusk, but he had never been this grim.

Why wouldn’t he be? He didn’t have the means necessary to repair this situation. He’d only been able to extract the souls he was caring because Odea had been with him. She was his soul partner and was the one that taught him different, slightly more advanced, Soul Arts than those taught at Shibusen. Without a Shinki, as Odea was, he couldn’t do it.

Then!

A soul squirm out from the back of Koudo’s tunic, having been tucked away and hidden during the original proceedings. This soul was similar to Koudo’s, but with inverted colors. The cool blue and regal silver was replaced with a fiery red and ominous black. Once freed, it rocketed past Koudo’s face, shooting itself right into the body of Zhao Yun.

Meiga: “You owe me one, bastard. Always playing your pranks and tricking me!”

The voice of Koudo’s biological brother, not a clone, rang in his head.

“Meiga when did you?!”

Meiga: “Never mind. I’m gonna stabilize this guy. I wanna be happy too, bastard.”

Koudo sighed with relief, placing a hand on his chest and shaking his head. “Haha, you got me this time.” Man if there was ever a moment where he was happy to see his brother had survived, it was definitely now. Koudo didn't really care about the specifics of how or why, because he knew Meiga was the type of man to do anything to survive. He'd been that way since Koudo first met him.

Cleff smiled at Koudo once he received recognition that his connection was comprehended, then immediately returned back to expressionlessness.

Soon after, the events involving the outpour of the massive energy source occurred, causing Cleff's eyes to widen and to immediately begin calculating the 'Measure' of the 'Output'. Many digital bits and binary code shifted before his seemingly blank, ovular eyes.

Cleff: "Calculation."

Without moving his head, body nor eyes at all, Cleff continued to monitor the events of what were going on relatively stoic, allowing the full measure and scale of what was going on to be gathered up to the maximum potential energy based on the probable and possible outcomes after all such input had been pooled together, as it was clear by the 'Incalculable' situation that this had not yet occurred. Therefore, until 'Calculations' were complete and the scenario once again became 'Calculable' due to more 'Defined' Variables and 'Values' placing themselves automatically in order for proper procedure, Cleff needed not act nor 'Input' anything because the 'Output' was what was his 'Input' presently.

As calculated, a different 'Variable' suddenly became involved, and thus was 'Integrate'd into the 'Calculations' for the 'Formula'.

Before Cleff or anyone else could resolve whatever incident was occurring based on the energy outpour, the new 'Variable' -- a 'Soul' -- sprang into 'Action' and decided to take the 'Matter' into its own 'Hands', thus obtaining 'Control' over the 'Scenario' for a certain 'Period'.

This was good 'Data'.

Cleff: "Detection."

A 'Trigger' occurred by Cleff obtaining the 'Data' from what was being 'Calculate'd once a certain 'Bit' of 'Information' was 'Place'd in its correct 'Order'.


Cleff continued to 'Review' the 'Data' that came from the 'Calculation' once it was 'Sort'ed.

The agonizing screams continued as Zhao’s glowing eyes shot open, blasting his blindfold off with a pulse of energy. He staggered to his feet, clutching his chest tightly, clawing at his shirt like trying to rip open his chest. He wanted it to end, he wanted the pain to stop.

Then the geyser of chakra around him changed colors, switching to a mixture of a deep black and aggressive red. It swirled around Zhao, relieving him of the pain he felt in his chest. He eased his grip, feeling soothed and tranquil. He felt like something had entered his chest, a warm feeling that united with what pained him before.

The geyser dispersed with a pop, revealing a Zhao, sans blindfold, with crystal clear blue eyes and newly platinum blond hair. He felt different somehow, sturdier and more… complete. He smirked, placing his thumb and index finger to his chin to revel in himself.


“Not bad, not bad at all.”

And there it was. Everyone was completely restored and converse amongst each other. Kahlil and Anasenko finally regained consciousness and joined their newly transformed comrades with laughs and smiles.

Whiz remained at Ace’s side, who was thinking about closing the club for a while and hitting the road. She remembered what the lady from before said, something about the Deadman’s Hotel. Ace kept a pretty close eye on her own books and knew how and where money was being moved. If there was a secret benefactor she hadn’t been aware of, then she definitely wanted to meet them. With her new found combat abilities, and a more beefier bodyguard, she felt like she could give the fighter lifestyle a try. It could be fun.

“You did it daddy! They’re all better!” Yui’s energetic light purple soul happily nudged against her poppa again. If he could do all that, then she wondered when she’d get to have a body for herself. Everyone looked so different and special and cool, she hoped she’d get a cool kind of transformation too!

“Where’s mine?” She asked.

Koudo looked on proudly at his friends being returned to normalcy and ready to start their new lives in the world Khrona had created. Some would go on to live the same lives their Veritas counterparts had already been living, while others would change up their routines and do something new. Whatever any of them chose to do, Koudo was happy either way. He’d finally done some good.

The happiness would continue, he turned to Yui’s soul with a soft smile, “I… need more time.” He clapped his hands together and bowed deeply. “Poppa forgot to prepare you one.”

As the energy began to stabilize, so would the calculations for the most maximum potential energy available at that exact moment given all of the variables involved, and at the level cap, Cleff would suddenly blink a few times before the digital information flittering before him completely dispersed.

Cleff: "Resolution."

Immediately, Cleff's expression shifted, and he began to smile happily.

"Oh good! It seems that the error has been resolved." Cleff chuckled a bit. "That is good news." Cleff really was more of an outer party in this entire scenario, but remaining present and collecting information was still a good situation. He did nothing but absorb information. There was still anomalous information being tossed around or left undone, but at this transitional point, that didn't really matter. All that mattered was having as much information as possible and its natural assortment.

Finally, Cleff spoke up, but a bit softly, "... Your team looks pretty nice." Cleff liked groups since there were many parties of people in the Veritas of the Veritas that functioned similarly to how Koudo and his party did. They were some of the first creations and mostly none of them ever reached any realm beyond this one -- the dimension that was made by, for and of Tymon's creations. It had been harboring his work since he was small, and before he ever dealt with anyone as a group, and remained here even if other arts or works of his extended outward and went to other realms, like Cleff or Khrona did. They were native inhabitants and residents and remained that way, having never left and always existing inside of Tymon's Dimension from birth all the way till now, never seeing anything beyond the works of Tymon. "Maybe you can meet with some of the native land parties?" It was a thought.


There seemed to be something going on between Koudo and his daughter, however, and Cleff did not want to get too involved nor to spoil their sentimental moment, since that sometimes meant the stunting of Character Development and Relationship Growth between lifeforms, as Cleff needed to learn because he continually gave information to beings that should not have it or did not need it, which altered their lives and realities in ways that could severely damage them or have them damage each other and themselves from even being exposed to that type of information before they were prepared or anything else was exposed prematurely to the scenario. As a technical and mechanical and virtual being, there were certain laws and orders that needed to be followed by protocol in order to achieve certain results, or to completely remain independent of certain scenarios in order to avoid contaminating data with extraneous information or involvement. Contributing here would likely disturb the natural flow and create a distortion or something of the sort. The potential outcome of this situation was indeed that it could stem into another Anomaly, so it was key to do as little as possible to contribute to it, especially in terms of feeding it energy, even if being present sometimes fueled it along. That was the least of the matters of concern during the data collection portion.

“Eh?” Yui meeped, “EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!?!” She screamed. If she had hands, they’d be placed to her cheeks as she looked upon her father with childish surprise. What did he mean that he forgot? She was his daughter, how could he forget?

She really loved her dad, but sometimes he could be so mean!

"Hahaha." Koudo laughed off his daughter's surprise, raising his head slightly to peek at her soul as it hovered before him. There had just been so much stuff happening that Wei didn't have the time to retrieve vessels for Yui and Jaehaerys. The plan had been accelerated by the intervention of the Tensei, yes, but most of the important things were able to occur as they were suppose to. Because Yui and Jaehaerys were the spawn of Koudo, he could use any number of techniques to create bodies for them spawned from himself.

"I'll get started on it now, no worries." He assured, holding out his arm and digging the nails of his other hand deep into his forearm. It seemed a painful procedure, but Koudo did it without showing any sign of pain or discomfort. In fact, it didn't seem like he cared or minded at all, and was just doing what was natural to do.

Blood began to spill from the wounds inflicted by his fingers before he extracted them with a tiny spec of one of the diamond scales hidden underneath his skin. He formed a hand seal with his free hand, taking control of all the blood that had spilled, and healing the wounds on his arm at the same time, compacting it into a ball that he stuck the scale in the middle of. Then, with another hand seal, the ball of blood was ignited with the silvery blue chakra of the Infestation Release.

As he did this, he looked to Cleff, "I wouldn't necessarily call them 'my team'. They were people that I wanted to help because they were close to me. I wanted them to try living a better life somewhere else." He paused for a second, turning back to look at the ball of blood at was beginning to morph and transform, shaping to form a circulatory system of some kind.

"If they can do that, then I'm content." He just wished he could have saved a few more. There was the boy he remembered from the Nightmare who grew into being one of the greatest men he'd ever met. Then, there was the lady samurai who had connections to his family, who willingly gave her life to protect her amazonian family.

By this time, the body for Yui was really beginning to take shape, the process rapidly accelerating itself the less complicated it became to form the other systems of the human/dragon hybrid body. Before long it was covering it's more delicate organs with a shield of translucent diamond scales before the tanned skin of a Tamura/Dragon hybrid completed the operation.

The more intricate details of what Yui would look like, was up to her and her imagination once her soul entered the body. Koudo knew what he wanted her to look like. His precious baby girl from back in the early years of the Lost World, but he knew she had grown a lot since then and would want to be her age. He had to accept that she was growing up.

Suddenly, Cleff activated, as if automated, yet simultaneously with the exact same type of vibrance that would be in him as if he were a child, even down to the facial expressions and tones up to any pitch.

T-CLEFF: "If You Like, You May Go To The Veritas Facility Known As The 'CREATIA HQ' In Order To Customize, If You Like. As A Resident, There Is No Service Charge For That Service; It Is A Public Aid Facility For All Residents And Members, So Charges Only Apply To Foreigners And Guests Or Shoppers."

Suddenly, a 'Projection' of the 'Location' was cast out of Cleff's eyes as a holographic graphic of what the 'CREATIA HQ' looked like, as well as its 'Coordinates' for the 'Dimension Gate'.

Now Cleff seemed to sound more chipper and perky in a lively and vivid fashion that did not seem anamatronic, and became sort of lost in his childish giddiness before abruptly realizing, "OH! And don't mind if I sound like a robot sometimes, because that's actually my old Artificial Emotion Device that I used on myself when I exchanged my emotions for my love of my wife. Hahahaha." That was all important, since perhaps Koudo would meet his wife, even though if records served, his daughter did have a brief interaction with her. "I'm sure that Yui may recall, if she does fully understand the conscious link of the conscience between herself as Yui and Tama." Invasion of one's 'Private Data' was the equivalent of criminal 'Molestation' and also 'Rape', so it was not something that Cleff nor any of the Veritas was able to do illegally by concept design of 'Virtue'. Therefore, all he could do was await an answer and not probe, even if he had the power, access and potential to do so with any of his powers that he liked.n"At The CREATIA HQ, You Can Use Some Of The Veritas Features To Customize Yourself Further Or Create A New Being For Yourself Altogether."

Koudo spoke up, preventing Yui's soul from entering the body, as it was, by moving it off and up into the air above his head and encapsulating it in a bubble of Infestation to protect it. He wasn't forcing her to wait, but he was intrigued by this 'CREATIA HQ' that Cleff was talking about. Imagining the possibilities that presented themselves if Yui decided to use that system to customize herself. It would still be imagination based, but she would have more options afforded to her.

Then he thought about himself...

He looked at Cleff, "Tell me more about this 'CREATIA HQ'. In fact, take us there since we're finished here. Right, Yui?" Koudo looked at his daughter's soul, taking the periwinkle soul in his hands, cupping it between them ever so gently, and looked back to Cleff.

Yui was just about ready to hop into the body that her dad had prepared for her. She already had the image of herself that she wanted to become. It wasn't exactly the same as it had been, when she was using the alias 'Tama.' Though she and Tama were not two different people, but one in the same. Tama WAS Yui, this whole time, having been sent through space and time by Koudo to save her from the Apocalypse. Koudo aged her up a tad so she could fend for herself and she grew the rest of the way. The false memories she thought she had been seeing were exactly that, false memories. She wasn't Koudo from a different dimension, she just missed her father and had been thinking about him. She resembled him and their chakra signatures were identical because ALL of her DNA was exactly the same as his own. It was what he had to do to stop her from being poisoned by the Horsemen's miasma.

The image she had in mind wasn't exactly too different from the way she looked either, so she could still be recognizable to her friends and family. It was just that, as much as loved her dad and liked looking like him, she wanted to resemble the woman she came to know as her mother as well. Odea had been a glamorous beauty as Odea and as the twins, Maina and Naina, so Yui wanted those feminine traits too. She knew, if she remained as she was, eventually, she would begin to resemble her father more and more as her power grew and she trained more. She didn't wanna be as big, bulky and manly as him!

She pouted a little with Koudo pulled the body away, but loosened up when he took her in his hands. She remembered meeting people, but, because she was not as familiar with Khrona and his family as Koudo, she couldn't say if she had actually interacted with his wife or not. She didn't even know he was married.

"Fiiiine~" She chimed happily. She didn't mind being her daddy's guinea pig. She knew the only reason he wanted to go was to witness the process first hand as she experienced it herself. She could even guess that he was already wondering if he would be able to go through the process as well to better acclimate himself to The Veritas and if the process would resolve any other inconsistencies and anomalies that he'd caused with his haphazard planning and behavior. If nothing else, he probably wanted to do it as an apology and a sign of good faith to Khrona, showing he didn't plan to cause anymore disruptions, if he could help it, and he really did want to try and live here peacefully.

Or as peacefully as her incident-prone daddy could be. Trouble really did seem to loom over him at all times.

Tao: "Tao Got You. Ride This Current."

It was clear that the 'Soul' of 'Yui Tamura' was in 'Search' of 'Friday', which was Tymon's wife. Tymon was Tao and Tao was Tymon, so... Tymon's Wife, -- Friday Tensei -- Is a different entity than Tao completely, even though this is where they both blended in 'Love' and 'Sex.' That is why Taomin is a Female.

Tao: "Why Are You Always Trying To Fuck With My Wife, Daughter And With Me?"

This 'Question' held great 'Intensity', especially since the 'Emotions' ran 'High' between Tymon in many of his 'Female' forms and 'Versions' with 'Koudo Tamura', including in all three incarnations of the 'Sacred Trinity' of 'Goddess Tymon', Taijitu.

Koudo messed with Tymon, himself, as a 'Female' and a Goddess, as well as himself as a 'Wife' and a Goddess, not to mention also as a 'Daughter' and a Goddess, plus as a 'Friend' and a Goddess. He'd even tested his mettle with Tymon as a 'Lover' and a Goddess. Finally, it seemed like he was testing Tymon, himself, as both a 'Goddess' and a Female in 'Divine Feminine.' Naturally, Tymon's 'Androgynous' -Nature- kicked in, yet simultaneously, he remained in his 'Feminine' form, Tao, as a 'Goddess'.

Thoroughly confused, Koudo didn't say anything for a time after the voice of Khrona, in female form, returned. He turned to look at the body he'd prepared for Yui, inspecting its craftsmanship as he tried to formulate what he wanted to say. Certainly he hadn't been expecting the question because nothing he'd said or did while here, restoring the souls of his friends, was in reference to Khrona, his wife or his daughter. Koudo had no further interest, in a romantic way, in any of them. More over than that, he couldn't remember the last time that he had. After all, to him, as he was now, it had been more than... 15 or so years since he'd seen hide or hair of the Tensei ilk. All he cared about now, in terms of romantic interest, was his wife Odea. He didn't even have passing memories of Mana anymore.

He turned to Cleff now, "I haven't done that. In fact, your wife didn't enter this conversation until you," He motioned towards Cleff, "This you, mentioned her." He pause there to take a breath, "I was only interested in venturing to the CREATIA HQ. Will this get me closer to that goal?" Koudo didn't want to waste time on situations that didn't matter to him. In fact, the more time he remained here, chatting, the longer it would take for him to go and save his wife.

He shook his head and turned back towards the body, resolve solidified in his eyes. "I've changed my mind. I wish to go after my wife. Now." The infestation chakra around the body Koudo held, suspended in the air, flared wildly around it as Koudo looked towards the soul of his daughter. "Yui!" With their powers combined, Koudo was sure he could offer her the same amount of customization of character.

Yui's soul casual drifted around Koudo as 'the adults talked', so to speak. None of what was being said really matter to her. It probably would have been better to listen, but Yui really didn't have the necessary amount of curiosity in this current situation to warrant her giving her full attention. She was much like her grandmother in that regard, more keyed into her own machinations than being interested in the machinations of others. Besides, her daddy could handle it. He could handle anything!

When her name was called, if she had a mouth then she would bear a very toothy grin, "Roger!" She responded in kind, before her souls shot itself towards the body that her father had prepared for her. A cocktail of chakra and soul energy ignited around her solo soul, engulfing it and causing her soul to streak towards the body like a comet through the night sky. When the Body and Soul touched, the Mind took control of what happened next.

In Yui's mind, she had what she wanted to look like. A girl with a "mature" figure, who had lived some years, but wasn't nearly old enough to discredit the advice of her father nor be away from his side for too long. What Yui envisioned was a body perfect to be her father's true successor, the one to carry on his legacy, his techniques, his knowledge, and his dreams. It was something Yui always dreamed about as a little girl, but because of her frail constitution, she could never ask to be his student like Mira had been. Now... she could.

"The Successor to the Tamura Clan, Wielder of the Infestation Release, Eventual Master of Sila Senpo, Protector of Family, Diamond Dragon of Hope, Herald of the God of War..."

Snowy white hair exploded from the scalp of the featureless vessel as the chakra concentrated around it switched colors to more resemble the periwinkle hue of Yui's respective energies. From the temples, sprouted medium sized horns that curved towards the forehead. The eyes opened revealing periwinkle irises. Her clothing was sensible and reminiscent of her father's tribal warrior monk aesthetic. It was their culture and heritage, after all. Her skin darken to match her father's as well.

Once her form was solidified, the energy around her died down and she dropped to a knelt position beside where her father was standing. She rose, with a smirk, pointing to herself, "Yui Tamura... is Here!"

Taomin glared Koudo Tamura in the eye like she -KNEW- him -- because he 'Think I'm Playing' -- tore open his soul and leered deep into the pit of his 'Heart' in order to pierce straight into his very being with the several layers of 'The Tensei' locked within him based on 'Judgment' alone.

When Koudo pointed at 'Cleff', he was automatically pointing at 'Taomin'. Tabrynth had already changed his own 'Cursor' -- which was 'Cleff' -- into 'Tao', which is Tymon's 'Divine Feminine' Heart.

"I Thought You Wanted Directions Or Sum'n?!" Tao bellowed with a loving laughter, "Not To Pussy Out Again!!! BYAHAHAHAHA~!!!" Tao cracked up, then 'Glare'd at Koudo again, 'Snatch'ing another 'Turn' immediately.

Taomin 'Shot' through the 'Code-O' program and followed the 'Path' of the 'Transition' that Koudo Tamura had 'Decide'd to take, immediately 'Follow'ing him wherever he went and also 'Allow'ing -Taomin- to go 'After' -Koudo Tamura- next 'Turn'.
