An Insurmountable Task; Understanding the Mission

They were a ragtag bunch, but the crew was coming together. Wei had gained the irreplaceable in Ismera and Omera, and saved himself a lot of time as well. While it would take him some time to wrap his head around all the crazy shit Koudo could do and learn to replicate it to a certain degree, he had Ismera and Omera to help carry the burden of making him appear to be at full power. Something he was very far from.

Ismera and Omera stood out like sore thumbs, even amongst the cast of colorful folk that seemed to liter Euphoria tonight. Amidst the flashing strobe lights and the thumping of rhythmic beats, they looked like the bells of the ball. Just their tall stature alone drew heads, but the way they seemed carelessly above it all was what drew attention.

They moved out of the way of the doorway, so that Wei could follow after them. It didn’t take him much time, considering he was the very next person through the portal, and he seemed positive about the situation that he had found himself in. Things could certain be going better, but they could get significantly worse as well. It was better to remain optimistic, even if Wiz hadn’t exactly made him confident with her tone of voice.

Chiyoko was the very last person, pulling herself through the tightening doorway. She just barely squeaked past, having been lost in thought about her failure to achieve such a drastic transformation as her husband had. She wondered if there was something special that Wei had done with him, that he hadn’t tried to do with her. In fact, she felt that Wei seemed more excited about her husband’s transformation than her own. She sighed quietly, at least happy that Wei wanted her to remain with him.

”Finally! Get your ass over here. Damn!” Wiz screamed from across the club at the top of her lungs to make every sure that Wei heard her and could see the table she was seated at; the same one as before. She looked nervous, fidgeted, and in the middle of chain smoking an inexhaustible supply of menthols.

Wei could tell that something was definitely up. He didn’t waste time getting to the table, allowing his party members free time to themselves. They got absorbed into the crowd just as quickly as he dismissed them and seated himself aside from Wiz.

”Where did you get those? Did you steal them or something?” Wiz asked, flicking her robotic wrist to bring up a holographic pad that allowed her to pour through data. She nodded her head specifically to the two tall gentlemen that Wei had added to his entourage. The woman was of no concern, she didn’t seem exceptionally special.

Wei peeked over his shoulder at the lounging Omera and proper Ismera, before turning back to Wiz, ”Lucky find.” He replied with a grin. He was sure Wiz had felt the pure joy of everything coming up her way before too. Gloating was something he absolutely had to do.

“Did you find them in a heavily classified area?” Wiz asked calmly, flicking through a few files on the screen she had positioned to her right side.

Wei’s face sunk, his mood dimmed a tiny bit. Things still seemed pretty alright, maybe Wiz was joshing him. Poking fun at how abnormal Ismera and Omera looked, how otherworldly they appeared to be. It wouldn’t be surprising if they were some obsessive billionaire’s experiment to become closer to whatever he considered a God. “No? Why?”

Wiz pulled her cigarette from her lips and put it out in the ashtray on the table, turning her screen to Wei, “Cuz you have the whole city looking for your ass.”

It was all clear. In the bright pink flare of her soul energy, Mira could see what her mind had been so clouded to. She wasn't even mad that she walked into this obvious set up, in fact she was elated. It reminded her of something. A very special moment in her life... when she met her two best friends.

Tama, that little sneaky assassin. Because of her aloof and carefree personality, she usually got picked on. Mira was the first to come to her aid, try to be her friend rather than her enemy, and Bhumi followed along later when fighting proved too much for Mira to handle alone. It was her idea that Bhumi and Mira team up and work together as a group. If it hadn't been for her, the Takers wouldn't even exist. Mira remembered this, and she smiled. Tears welled in the corner of her eyes and she sniffled back the snot that tried to escape from her nose.

"Just like Tama," She reached out her free hand, stripped of its pink exoskeleton, to touch Wei's longer hair, "Those weird eyes and pretty white hair..." She was able to say to Wei before she was engulfed by her own energy.

It was an eruption of power that devastated her body. She didn't scream, there was too much pain for her to express her discomfort audibly. She couldn't believe that she had packed so much power into such a blow, but she had always gotten reckless in her fights against Tama. It was the overwhelming pressure.

The pressure of knowing that she couldn't win, no matter how hard she tried. Wei had that same pressure about him. This overwhelming presence of obstacle that Mira couldn't barrel over and couldn't break down. It was her stopping point, the end of her potential, and she could always feel that Tama had much more room to grow.

That pressure never got her down. It never made her want to give up. It inspired her! Her friend, the one she could remember, was an inspiration to her. The more the pressure squeezed down on her, the more determined she got to surpass the person that exuded it. All of these emotions welled up in her as her energy arched throughout the room, blinding everyone in the area with its pink hue.

Then it was gone. Her energy swept away and Mira was left standing. Her head cast downward and her arms limp. Her body relaxed and slumped like she was able to fall over, but she didn't. She was down for the count, but she never touched the ground.

She stayed standing.

Bhumi looked on in silence. She wasn't upset about Mira, but in the pink radiance of her energy Bhumi was able to see the same visions. The history that she and Mira shared with this girl, Tama Tamura, that this man was looking for. They knew her! They were friends with her. They were only as strong as they were because of her.

"How could I have forgotten you, Tama. Without you, there is no us."

She sighed quietly, whispering the hook to the song that echoed through the empty club.

"Nothing's gonna stop me... nothing's gonna stop me."

Then she locked her eyes on Mira, allowing the orange glow of her Terra Forma magic to eclipse her eyes.

And it was over. Wei's hair shortened and return to his black color, as well as his darkening back to their natural deep blue color. He'd confirmed that he needed to know, on two fronts. The Takers were powerful, very powerful, and they'd make great allies to his cause. Not only that, but he was sure that would now be more inclined to aid him since his mission coincided with finding their missing friend, Tama. Mira surprised him, when she touched his hair and whispered her final words.

She surprised him again, when he retracted his hand from her fist and stood up straight, because she didn't fall. She was unconscious, but she stayed standing and that was impressive. His gaze softened, and he scratched the back of his head. Though Koudo hadn't trained this Mira, she still somehow learned never to fall. Probably out of an internal need to prove to her friends she was just as strong as they were. He felt it in her soul when he resonated with her briefly to under the flow of her energy and redirect it. She was an interesting girl.

"So it's settled then. They're the ones." Ace called to Wei, laying her passed out lover down on the floor. Poor Whiz, Ace thought as she knelt and stroked her cheek, she's gonna hate that she missed that. Ace snickered a little, pinching her "bodyguard's" cheek. How could see protect her, if she couldn't remain conscious when real fighters traded blows?

Wei nodded his head, turning his back to Mira to look at Ace and Whiz. "Yeah. Mira confirmed it. They know Tama for sure, now I just need to ask Bhumi about the Maharaja." He breathed and nodded his head. Sage Mode was... tiring, but it was effective. He could understand why Koudo never bothered with learning other transformation techniques once he'd learned it. It was a game changer.

Nothing's gonna stop me.... Nothing's gonna stop me...

The words echoed in Mira's subconscious. They repeated over and over again, drifting through her head in her unconsciousness. She felt warm, like heat was beginning to fill her inside. Before she knew it, she was burning hot!

Her soul ignited, summoning her flame like pink aura of power back around her inert body. As the heat grew, her power rose with it until the base aura solidified back into the exoskeleton of her strongest form.

"Nothing can stop you Mira," Bhumi said out loud, "You're invincible! You NEVER lose to anyone." The orange glow of her eyes intensified, lightning like sparks arcing from the corners. "Only Tama can defeat you."

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!"

Mira roared, willingly welcoming more of this intense heat to ignite her body, to replenish her exhausted body and weary soul. The pink exoskeleton of Mira's swelled in size, double in stature to be around the height of Wei himself and the power doubled as well.

It lunged at Wei, reaching to grab him and slam him into the ground when he turned his back. This fight wasn't over, not by a long shot. As long as the fires of determination burned in Mira's soul, she'd continue to fight! Even... when her body was unconscious.

Just as things were about to liven up again in the club-lounge, the loud staccato of heels clicking on the ground drew all sorts of attention to a new velvet mistress garb in sleek black attire that hugged her curves and split at all the right angles, letting her luscious skin pour out from the abysmal pitch of her blouse. Her lavender hair spilled over her face lucidly, yet her eyes seemed nearly half-gone, as defined by a certain lurid expression on her face; lips pooched. The cutting singularity of her keyhole pupils searching for targets among the mass of brawlers like that of a machine's laser scanned over the whole establishment, almost as if looking to pick a fight, just like the rest of them.

All that was needed was a good hawk and spittoon.

"I'va come-a here lookin' fer a varmint..." the lavender-haired, steely-eyed woman with a cutesy, yet seductively stern voice uttered to the crowd, "... Y'all fixin' ta tell me where's I can find 'im?"

The Western Accent was a tad bit eccentric, but for the lovely lady in black and a chic, sharp bladed-hemmed witch's hat on her head seemed just crazy and ditzy enough to do something like that in such a situation where it might be life threatening. Though, the ditz in the matter may or may not have been feigned to lower their guard. It also may have just been a natural part of her personality. Who knows? She knows -- Always.

Taking a gander around, the fine woman of the dark garb crossed her silky gloved arms across her voluptuous chest, peeking from under her low-lid, high-rise eyes in order to inspect everyone thoroughly.

"... And when I say 'varmint', I means... Someone lookin' fer a FIGHT!!!"

Chains slithered across her body swiftly, like serpents, yet slipped all across the various swerves, curls and grooves of her body as though they were her very own hands and fingers in the bath tub. Sliding all of the way up her arms something like her skin-tight gloves and boots, the woman dressed as a witch would lightly twirl the just-meeting tip of the curling chain in her hand like a snake or a phallus -- perhaps, a little of both.

The witch woman stood there, awaiting someone to fulfill her request. She knew what this place was despite this being her first time here, and she also knew what the crowd was like, since she had her own share of personal experience back at the Hotel. If the owner of this establishment remembered, the Forbidden Hotel, Deadman's Den, sponsored and facilitated the construction and maintenance of the Euphoria-Champion industry before it was built on the Veritas property belonging to the owner of the Hotel; this was just the first time that someone other than the owner of the Veritas had been here to visit this business or owner of this business.

"Special request from your friendly neighbors of the Deadman's Den." Throwing names around was nice. Might just scrounge her up some street cred a little bit. Those who knew about the chain of business that went into the sponsorship, hearing something from the people who sponsored you or your friends' operation could be pretty intimidating as it was.

Finally, before too long, the woman became impatient with waiting around, even if it might have only been for a minute or two. Taking long strides with her slender, elegant legs, she trotted across the floor gracing over it barely even touching the ground -- seeming to be nearly skipping -- yet legs still in motion periodically as if walking in order to maintain aerial momentum; arms still crossed. She lightly kicked off from the ground into a seated position mid-hover, floating gently to rest upon one of the upright seats in the room, looking as if she were a moment or so from blowing a bubble with some gum. With keyhole pupils still aglow, she continued to observe and await interaction or response to her request.

Wei breathed.

He turned.

He smashed.

*BOOM*

The impact was an ear drum shattering cacophony of excessive force. The establishment of Euphoria rumbled with the pressure exerted by the swing of Wei's fist through the air and the walls rattled with the force of the impact between Wei's knuckles and the exoskeleton shrouding Mira's body. It was unbelievable that he was even able to land a blow so solid.

Mira's exoskeleton popped like a bubble, dropping Mira to the ground for her to join her friends as the defeated fighter that she was. Wei dusted his shoulder off, rolled his neck, and leaned down over Mira before saying,

"I already knew I had to put you down for good. No standing."

Ace: Shit.

Whiz: Shit.

Bhumi exhaled and killed the activation of her magic and rested her cheeks in her hands, "Shiiiit."

Wei looked up and turned towards the bathroom, Omera and Ismera appearing from the distance like the ethereal beings that they were. Neither appeared injured in any way, and neither seemed particularly tired either. In fact, it was like their being knocked out was all a part of a wonderful play. They were only following Wei's orders, after all.

"Now, we can talk, Bhu-"

Wei was interrupted by the child-like bemusing of a new comer that hadn't seen the place had already been vacated. He moved to speak, but she announced that she was looking for a fight. He looked confused, and turned to Ace, Whiz and Bhumi who shared the same expressions. This wasn't a fight club, and they had no idea what she was talking about. This was just a brawl that got out of hand and was finished already. Nobody was looking to trade anymore blows today.

"A friend of yours, Ace?"

Ace: "I've never seen her before."

Bhumi: "Don't look at me."

Wei shrugged then, "I'm pretty sure Euphoria is closed." After all, everyone was gone and now he and Bhumi had business that they needed to talk about. He was just about ready to leave and continue on his mission.

*Click*

The sound of a trigger switching.

"What was that~...?"

Silence.

Eyes glowing -red-.

The area was already on lockdown.

"Closed~?" Somehow, this lass did not seem fazed. She smirked; giggled, even. "Do you even know who you are talking to, cuuuuuute little boya~?" Eyeing this place up and down after the 'Target Seal' was 'Lock'ed on the 'Anomaly,' she didn't need to really stay here any longer if she weren't going to be pleasured in the manner that she sought such fulfillment. "... I don't THINK I heard you correctly~!!" She winked at him and a heart fluttered from her eye.

The sound of rattling snakes filled the air and the room seemed to tremble at the tension.

"... You wanna run that by me again, sugarplum~?" Not only was the woman unfazed, she was also unmoved in any way, despite her wink and speaking. In fact, there seemed to be no sort of fear of consequence nor remorse in her at all.

Until suddenly.

"Oh, also," she interjected with a finger, "Sorry about the mixup," she went on, trailing her voice with her hands, "Yeah, this is my first time here and whatnot, and I'm just..." With a remorseful face, she looked off to the side, "Uh. I'm doing a lot and..." she rolled her eyes, "Yeah."

Seemed like she just didn't know the difference between the places only because she learned about this place through the grapevine because she was so busy before with prior matters and was pretty much completely swamped with things to do, as it was now. "In any case, yes, it REALLY doesn't matter which place it is because I'm really just here to do one job and then kinda be on my merry way, so..." The strange woman smiled slyly, averting her gaze fluidly in one swift motion, trailing off with her own speech in gesture as she'd done earlier with her hands. She made a wicked grin of knowledge; eyes still agleam with vicious scarlet at the pupil. "Taa~." As she gestured, the woman darted off with a kick of her heels and through the air weightlessly, as if out in space, before bending over and beginning to float forward as she also faded away into the atmosphere, blending in seamlessly -- Completely Disappearing.

Suddenly, the sound of rattling rattlesnakes came to pass again, yet this time accompanied by a litter of devious whispers.

"What do you know about 'Maharaja'...?" a voice whispered in the ear of Wei.

Simultaneously, "You should probably see what that woman meant," echoed from a distorted air pocket around the head of Bhumi and the other people that were more involved with their own personal affairs, since this was still a situation where their positions were compromised by an unknown.

Likewise, a passing voice echoed faintly behind Whiz and Ace, "Your network is hacked and your wires are tapped~" almost cutely before a small little bug crawled on the mechanical arm, shimmering with the metal and camouflaged in the grooves to be like a bolt or a screw.

A transmission from the Veritas was sent.

Wei sniffed in before sighing.

"Oh..."

In the next motion he sat down on the ground and everyone else followed suit. Whiz, Ace, Bhumi, Ismera and Omera all followed suit like they were forced to do so. And none said anything, not even Wei.

Immediately, a face that was like that of a toy or a small child appeared from a projection screen coming from the machinery attached to the cybornetic woman that was part of the staff of this location. It alerted her to the fact that there was a criminal in the vicinity and that the Veritas was taking effective measures against him through the technology. It would seem like the prime systems and core processors were hacked and the sound of the machines seemed to be startlingly violent.

"RED ALERT! The 'Target' Has Been Identified!"

This was the voice of the Veritas Navigation System, Tabritha, guiding along the events throughout the prime consciousness of the technology. The more Targets were Pointed out, the further the Mechanica moved to the Locations that were Marked by Tabritha.

"Paradoxical 'Criminal' Confirmed!"

The one who was causing the anomalies in the Veritas in the first place, Wei, was discovered; he was guilty of doing this in an environment whose establishment was displaced and ecosystem damaged in the human population, which were tame in this land and thereby had a type of maintenance to them that was like tending to a farm, down to even the owners having actual ownership of how they are brought up through the city's government. During the time, it was a paradoxical displacement due to the anomaly and the previous anomalous instances based on paradoxical disturbances from Wei and his previous history in the Veritas including the data about his association to the Veritas, itself, both in the times prior and also once becoming a cosmic force or entity. Because of this, the punishment was more severe due to the nature of the crime being on a level that was beyond normal 'human terms' or 'normal relationship' standards, which is what made it so very serious and grievous to have been captured or cornered like this.

"The Authorities Are Coming To Apprehend You And Suspend Your Anomalies," the digital child-like entity spake from the voice of the technology. "All Undefined Realities Will Be Given Terminals."

Wei bowed his head deeply, hands planted firmly on his knees.

"Fine."

Immediately after a confirmed surrender, the Mechanica mobilized on Euphoria, moving into the location through infestation of each of the smallest possible escape routes with the most minimal probability of success, then spreading outward to cover the most probable events of success last in order to fully secure the area far more completely and efficiently.

There were Mechanica that were Cameras for capturing all sorts of footage as a unified streaming service of the media.

There were Mechanica that were Projectors that were used for 'Intimidation'.

There were even Mechanica that were moving in as sentry through the door in an organized fashion, accomplishing their single-minded task as a supercolony hivemind.

The Mechanica followed through with the confirmed apprehension of the 'Criminal' by protocol and charges. They continued to follow the standard procedure up to the point where they were able without requesting permission for access based on denial or lack of code for processing without said permission.

His charges were read;

"Foreigner 'Wei' of the 'Code-O' -- You have been 'Charge'd with 'Indecent Exposure' to one of the native 'Dusk Citizens' in a 'Restricted Area.' This is a 'No Warping' Zone, and the 'Reality' that was 'Distort'ed because of the 'Indecent Exposure' of the 'Dusk Citizen' to these 'Anomalies' before 'Prior Exposure'."

'Official' Issue Servicemen held the 'Criminal' in -Custody- whilst 'Standard' Issue Servicemen kept the 'Path's clear and the 'Area's secure for clear 'Passage' and carriage on.

"The 'Trauma' that is caused by this 'Distortion' creates a certain 'Disturbance' that induces a 'Rupture' in one's normal 'Reality' that 'Alter's it to an 'Irreversible' state wherein which it cannot be undone simply because it was 'Fresh' exposure." It was because of this and the laws of the Dusk City at the time that caused this to be such an issue, and his doing this disturbed the natural lifestyle and ecosystem of the Dusk on a level that was able to be picked up by the Mechanica, which would correct any damages afterward (because they lived here in the city, just as everyone else).

"Because of this 'Spacecrime'," the 'Announce'r went on, "The 'Anomaly' that is 'Responsible' due to 'Reaction' must be 'Resolve'd or 'Terminate'd."

All this meant was that the events had to be seamlessly blended back into the proper standards of the Veritas before the damage was done down to the very last person that was exposed not contaminating another Veritas Inhabitant that was supposed to be left ignorant of these sorts of matters that went on with and within the Dusk City.

They each needed to be able to assimilate with the Veritas economy again and function properly without damaging it and the citizens further.

"As long as there is no 'Permanent' damage or 'Unwarranted' change in the natural 'Society' -- which is 'Monitor'ed by the Mechanica -- then you should not have a problem and you can go off with a 'Warning'." Because the Mechanica were also highly advanced down to the point of having the ability to synchronize their radio waves with the brain waves of lifeforms and other such organisms in order to read their minds and biorhythms, down to even their feelings, so they were aware of more than just simple white lies or crafty mischief that was a little more advanced and now had supervision due to the technological advancement. Therefore, a misunderstanding or disturbance that causes a paradox accidentally was nothing more than something that just had to be put out, like the natural fire or flood or earthquake; another common natural disaster that happens strictly because of the magnetism of advanced technology being a new element.

As long as he followed instructions and no one did anything too funny, everyone would be free to go.

Head still downcast.

"Do. What. Needs. To be. Done."

A special unit task force Mechanica was called in.

"Make no movements gentleman. What will be, will be."

"HODAMN!!!"

A dark, sleek, slender-type Mechanica that stood out from the others cried out, its face like a screen and a visor simultaneously and much digital information processing all over it in variable fashions as the machine drew nearer.

"I'M HERE TO TAKE YO BITCH, NYUKKA~!!!!"

Rocketboosting into a propulsion straight toward the already calculated coordinates of Chiyoko -- the Traumatized -- as soon as the information was concluded, the specialized Mechanica named 'Jecht' would instantaneously transmogrify in a mechanized fashion into a slender, sleek, jet black plane one would believe that Darth Vader would operate.

Jetboosting straight forward, he sliced clean through a preset gap that was made strictly for his flight path by the Mechanica in a predetermined fashion in order for the guided black jet to ease through in a guided fashion whilst also remaining in alignment with the other Mechanica. The clean and crisp cut of his wings tore through the building only just at the tips, scraping up the floor and the ceiling by the edges -- something like a scratching up of a car with keys, only with a jet.

"FUCK YO BITCH, HO!!!"

As soon as it appeared at a doorway, the jet plane transitioned from transportation mode to humanoid mode again, landing before the woman Chiyoko and already prepared to subdue her and deal with her appropriately as the collateral casualty. She was collected immediately by the specialized jet black Mechanica, Jecht Blach, and was ready to be transported whilst her captor was dealt with by the rest of the Mechanica.

No. Movement.

The Dusk Citizen that was 'Snatch'ed from possession by the Mechanica was then taken to a location wherein which she could be reinstated into the Dusk properly, since she was the one that actually made the mistake initially in the first place, and not her husband, despite whatever different form he'd taken on.

From that point on, a 'Target' Icon hovered over the head of the 'Criminal', Wei.

Tabritha: "We have collected the collateral, which will be taken in exchange for you to fix your own damages to the reality."

For him, his reality was actually fine the way it was because of how his story was going along, but as the events of other perspectives came into play to parallel his own, he would be able to be shown the alternate viewpoints where the realities all fell through through holographic simulation projection technology. Out of each of these outcomes, the ones where Chiyoko returned after being able to be a normal citizen of the Dusk again were determined only after Wei was dealt with or not at all because of her being taken into custody as is by default.

Tabritha: "As for you, Sir, you are fully capable of resolving the anomalies that have been caused that have disturbed or disrupted the timeline of the Veritas in the Dusk, causing the natural Citizens of the Dusk to become out of what with the ecosystem. That is why you are being apprehended and charged, if it were not clear."

With this said, he should have been fully informed that all he needed to do was make sure he corrected anything that was wrong and linked it back into how it functioned in the Veritas or resolve it in a different fashion before the beings that were involved and influenced or affected by any and all of the outcomes from the 'Rupture'd Realities.

Ace: "Wei..."

Wei didn't raise his head. Not to look at Ace, or even pay attention to what was being said to him. Ultimately, it didn't matter. He did raise his hands though and formed a seal. This seal cloaked Osmera and Ismera in chakra before fusing them back together into the boring husband Chiyoko had been tied to her whole life.

If they were going to take her back to her boring life in the Dusk, then they might as take her husband too. Wei didn't actually need them and, ultimately, it didn't matter.

Mechanica: Halt! No 'Unauthorized' Movement!

The Mechanica each suddenly went on 'Defense' mode and took positions all simultaneously and in sequential order like a domino-puzzle and assumed a new series of formations based on what the previous Mechanica had done in order to already have a movement prepared for after the prior was triggered.

If there were anymore sudden 'Movement's, the Mechanica would take it as a means of 'Resistance' and would have to resort to the utility of force based on utility of force.

Announcer: We have found that the Husband is actually an Instrument and the Wife, who is plain, was the ignorant in the matter to this fact. This makes her exposure to that event more traumatic than the other occurrence with her Husband.

It was truly because she was the odd one out that Chiyoko was the only one who was confiscated, whilst the others were left to deal with the other crisis that came from their involvement with the Dusk as a City. Naturally, the events that came from the two very important people being taken out of everyday life and there being no record of it -- in a perfectly operated city with no backed up records -- would show up rather immediately in the system, especially if it also were not manually operated nor maintained, but machine-operated and maintained. That literally meant that someone had broken a law and it had been discovered simply and only because there literally was no record of it happening, which actually should have been happening literally a all times and being stored within a database.

Tabritha, the Targeting System, searched for the files that were on the Digital Record on the Virtual Database for the Dusk from the Master Control unit.

"... Seems to me that this one 'Chiyoko' here is the only person who really fouled up the most, and her husband seems like because of his lineage, his sudden pubescence in terms of his own personal natural development isn't as bad as the sudden exposure to something outside of his element, like with his wife."

The little girl-like being wearing her gothic-lolita style dress and long twin cord-like tendrils sprouting from her back swirled around like a pixie or fairy or something and shrugged her shoulders pretty lackadaisically, saying, "Nothing we can do, guy." The pitch dark eyes of the entity on screen cut to the direction where Jecht Blach was sharply, and he was commanded, "Get The Target To The Location," accompanied by the snap of the fingers and a rather stern expression.

Meanwhile, the face on screen belonging to the little Sprite returned to focus on the 'Criminal' in 'Custody'.

"Sooooo, as for you, that's a write-up," she dragged on, face perking up and then returning to a deadpan and emotionless expression, "... Aaaaaand, cleanup duty. Community Service hours..." The sound of writing was projected from the projector as the vehement marking of chalk on a chalkboard during the time of the documentation digitally, yet only for a certain comic effect that came from the sense of humor of this little virtual lass. "... Aaaaaand you'll have to come pick up the girl after she's been rehabilitated to fit the community standards. Husbandman is cool, though." The Mechanica were very thorough, and so was their AI as well as their Operator.

"Any Questions?"

With the woman apprehended and the situation contained, the special operative of the Mechanica unit transformed sideways back into a black jet plane with Chiyoko in custody restrained in the cockpit.

Retracing his steps the exact same way that he entered, so too would he exit, scraping up the floor and ceiling simultaneously in the process. The jet plane compacted and narrowed itself down to a slender chicness of that of a paper airplane and shot through the doorway like a dart with jet boosters, jettisoning to the sky with a powerful burst.

Chiyoko was gone for holding.

"Chiyoko. Is. An. Instrument."

Wei didn't move though, he was told not too. He didn't want to open his mouth either, but now he knew that the Mechanica of the Dusk must be malfunctioning because of how anomalous the situation around Wei actually was. They didn't have all their facts exactly straight.

He, of course, could show them much better than he could ever tell them, but with the order not to move and Chiyoko already being taken away without proper investigation... He only chuckled a little to himself at the ultimate futility of this current predicament.

Chiyoko, as a Citizen of the Dusk and therefore Registered member of society that was already classified in the bureaucratic system as a documented and legal resident and natural inhabitant of the Veritas, natively to the Dusk by birth with certificate. There was no way that she would be unknown nor what a potential outcome of her circumstances could have been, for all possibilities within the confined crystallized ecostructure remained finite.

The anomalous instances were the only real instabilities and potential possibilities of being otherwise factual by default, which they were.

"You and your lover are safe, loverboy," Tabritha said, raising a single eyebrow suggestively, yet maintaining a monotonous tone and stagnant facial expression. "Husbando is perfectly A-OK as long as he calls his boss." The anomalous occurrences lined up perfectly all the way back up to his first anomalous appearance as Aeragon, which was already a 'Code-O' disturbance as it was.

"You'll have to get your girlfriend out of Hell, though." She chuckled dryly, eyes shifting. "I mean, Prison." The security of the Veritas was tight, especially for one that could cause destruction to it of this type of magnitude. This was no ordinary crime, after all -- it was a 'Spacecrime'!! This sort of classification of criminal activity exceeded planetary limitations and ranks, which is what made dealing with it so very pressing, and for the correction process to extend beyond just the planetary effects.

"... So, that's its own thing. If you even want her. If you don't claim her, she'll just be kept there overnight or until she's clean, okay?"

Protocol suggested that she was distributed to the 6th Moon and could be picked up only from there at that facility of the Veritas.

"If you need help, please use the Navigation System or the Transportation System, as you did when you first entered."

After hearing such things about himself and also knowing that the life with his wife was a sham, the husband broke down and began to cry, feeling sorry for himself that he'd gone through all of this and was not truly loved by his wife nor this strange, mysterious and sexually attractive foreigner. Heartbroken and also on the ropes with his job, plus a now unstable household, the damages for his suddenly broken lifestyle with open ends due to the nature of the 'Foreigner's come-and-go passivity came to amount to simply needing to start anew entirely. His beautiful wife could no longer be trusted and his marriage was just as much in shambles as his life was all in a moment after this man said that he no longer needed either of them. Not to mention, his own wife was in custody for doing everything in the first place. His only resolve was with and in the Mechanica.

The man delivered his words and personal statements to the foreigner and immediately went into the care of the Mechanica so that he could be repurposed in life where he constitutionally needed to exist based on the changes in his life automatically by default standard, which was the ability to defect into the system that the Dusk Citizens were aware of due to the fact that the Mechanica took care of their lifestyles, even if a vast majority of them did not know how. Some of them knew some things; others knew nothing. It all depended on your 'Rank' and your 'Position', really.

Based on the changes in lifestyle and status (including marital) due to unforeseen conditions and acting only as an accessory based on sudden lifestyle changes, the man was able to be reinstated in the system properly through a series of flawlessly executed systematic sequences and filing procedures that ended up forging a record of rite and passage through the processing of said request via the necessary paperwork going to the correct terminals completely and fully mechanically -- systematically.

Therefore, he would be safe and his name would possibly be changed as of 'Witness Protection', if it became necessary. His wife, on the other hand, was an actual criminal by earthly and worldly charges, which was also something different due to the standards of the planet and the natural laws of the world that already existed on the planet before any outsider got there and was not always inclusive to the universal laws that dictated government over outside influences that came from different possible or probable circumstances at any given time. Therefore, her charges were much more severe, even if her husband would be accommodated for his actual accidental involvement -- which was important in classification and justification of causalities.

The Servicemen took care of the man by standard and proper procedure all the way through to the designated standard of safety and security of maintenance in the city in order to keep to its most optimal conditions of residency and overall population control down to the tourism and attractions.
