Desert Swan appeared mysteriously without anyone knowing, her long split skirt swaying with her hips as she walked. Her skin was fairly tanned, and she wore a top that looked like a brassiere, fitting an appearance that she'd just come from some place hot. Her most defining feature beyond her body was her panda hat, which did not seem to match her more tribal desert appearance. "... Still not used to that..." she muttered under her breath as she seemingly danced over to where she saw some interesting lifeforms. "... Excuse me," she'd say softly, "Where is this?"

Desert Swan could hear the rustling of the leaves with her acute hearing, but did not wish to ruin the fun for Aravena. She would check in a few more places before going toward where she heard the rustling. "Not behind the tree..." Desert Swan said, looking toward the giant mushroom. She walked over to it. "... Not the giant mushroom, either. Huh. Where could she be~?"

Desert Swan smiled, hearing the giggles now. "Oh, there is one place I haven't checked..." She casually pranced her way over to the area with the big leaves, rolling her eyes playfully as if she didn't know what was going on. "Hmmm... Maybe... She's... HERE!" Desert Swan suddenly parted the leaves where Aravena was hiding.

Desert Swan laughed a little. "Well, I am pretty light on my feet!" She playfully started to jog after the little one, keeping a certain distance between them as they ran, chasing her around the area for a bit.

Desert Swan was surprised when Aravena pounced, but having unusually good reflexes and perception, she caught the young one out of the air and spun her around a bit, saying, "Gotcha!" before coddling her a little bit. "Have fun?" Desert Swan asked. The girl seemed happy now, and that's all Desert Swan wanted.

Desert Swan's gaze softened as she pet the child gently, humming a bit. "That's good, sweetie..." Desert Swan felt just like a mother at that moment, and was considering becoming one all from this simple interaction. "I'm just happy that you feel better." Desert Swan would hug her tightly and then place Aravena back on a seat at the table, right next to her.

Desert Swan smiled and did the same. However, she did wonder where the other people were. This place was large, sure, but someone should have been around at least somewhere. She didn't see anyone when she woke up, and she hadn't seen anyone except Aravena since. It was already strange for a child to be alone, but for no one to be present at all for an extended period of time was very strange for a place that supposedly had so many people from different places stationed here. Desert Swan thought deeply, looking at her skirt, wondering how she would get home...

Desert Swan's being lost in thought only deepened as she heard the rather melancholy melody playing. Though beautiful, it simply reminded her of her situation being stranded here, and Desert Swan would clench her hands tightly. It was only a few moments after that which she realized someone was playing the melody, and she immediately looked up to see another Beastkin, as they were called in her homeworld. "Oh, hello," she'd say politely. "I was just thinking, 'Where are other people'? And here you show up." She smiled. "I'm glad. What are you called?"

Desert Swan had dozed off in her seat a bit, since she was up late the night before wondering how she would get home, but woke up to find a shapeshifting being before her very eyes. It wasn't unusual considering where she came from, but she wasn't accustomed to shapeshifters being in this place. "Oh, my!" she cried out reactively. "Um... Sorry for my outburst."

Desert Swan chuckled lightly, figuring she'd woken up at a pretty awkward time. "It's not that I'm not used to it, it's just... I'm not used to seeing it outside of my homeworld." She calmed herself and stilled her mind with a deep breath. She still needed to find a way home. "Polly... Morfus?" she tried to repeat. "Um... I am called Desert Swan. It's nice to meet you, Polly Morfus and...?"

Desert Swan chuckled nervously. "Bethany!" she said with a wavering voice, "Y-yes. Nice to meet the both of you." Desert Swan shook off her wariness with a slightly out of place laugh before calming herself again. She found their conversation interesting.

Desert Swan was astonished to find a machine now. "A Mechanica!" she exclaimed. "It seems like life is suddenly pouring out of the woodworks, when earlier..." Her voice trailed off at the end. She noticed that these were not the same people from the other day, either. However, they seemed far more... Diverse. Maybe they had an answer that she was looking for. "Um...!" she tried to speak up, "Are any of you keen on dimensional travel?"

Desert Swan was overwhelmed by all of the sudden activity, considering she spent most of the day alone with a child. There was no one familiar. Not a one. Fortunately, someone finally had an answer to her problem. "Yes! This dimension known as 'The Veritas' -- My homeworld! We use Dimension Gates as our means of travel, but I am from an underdeveloped part of the dimension and do not have the same dimensional capabilities as many of the others there!" It was a mouthful, but Desert Swan was excited. "How do those warp pipes work?"

Desert Swan turned from what she was doing and saw the bunny come near to her. She smiled sweetly. "Aww, what a cute creature! Are you here to make friends with me?" Desert Swan shifted in her seat completely, extending her hand to the Lopunny. "Maybe I'll stay for a little while longer..." she said aloud, but mostly to herself. "At least I know I can get back now... Well. I hope."

Desert Swan was suddenly lifted from her seat, rather unexpectedly, at that. "Woah! Wait a minute--" Before she knew it, she was in the air. If Desert Swan weren't a skilled dancer with extremely honed reflexes, she would have been flat on her butt! Fortunately, she extended her leg as she was flipping, touching the ground with her toes first before lowering her other leg. Desert Swan immediately spun and jumped backward in a twirl, her split skirt revealing a single leg, and her stance now looking different than that of a regular dancer. "Are you my enemy?" she asked the rabbit creature. Beastkin were very strange, at times.

Desert Swan looked confused for a moment. "H-hello? What kind of--" She sighed, standing upright now. "Well, if that's all it was..." It looked like the little rabbit wanted to tussle, though. Desert Swan could admire that. "Ha, maybe you've got some killer moves, too!" Desert Swan was just happy that she hadn't revealed... That. Especially since there was no need. "Well, you all know it better than I do. And I presume each other, too." Desert Swan sighed, looking to Bethany, "Now, what about those warp pipes? How do they work? Do you... Smoke them?"

Desert Swan did not understand most of the jargon, except that it seemed to be limited in supply and that she needed to have been there before. She'd been to her homeworld, of course, but she wasn't aware of how to get back. She figured that one needed to know at least that much, but of course, she knew next to nothing about dimensional travel. She only passed into a random Dimension Gate on accident, which is how she got here during her journey to her homeland in her homeworld. She watched as the rabbit creature became frustrated, but found it somewhat adorable. "Aw, I'll still play with you..." But it seemed like she'd already moved on. Oh well. "... Anyway, I'm sure I'll find a way... Somehow..."

The Tyranophant passed through a Dimension Gate, which opened up nearby, his crystalline hair shimmering as it refracted light. The wispy tail of the hair dark vested man with pants that extended into shoes seemed to blend into the reality of this realm. A clump of hair was over a single eye, yet his other tired, crystal blue eye was visible, unlike his mouth, which his collar covered. "... Tsubaki, what are you doing here...?" he asked Desert Swan.

Desert Swan watched the interaction between the two across the way before her 'other' name was called out by the one that she knew little about save for his status in the Veritas. "Oh! It's you! Will you take me back to the Veritas? I got stuck here when I was going home..."

The Tyranophant's tired eye glazed over to the Lopunny, a light chuckle escaping his covered mouth. "Aah, a Pokemon... Haven't seen one of them in a while. Heh." Before he dealt with one of his favorite Pokemon, he had to deal with one of his lost children stuck in this alternate dimension. With a snap of his gloved fingers did he cause a Dimension Gate portal to open up right into the Khoya Village, where Desert Swan hailed. "Yeah, yeah, don't get lost again, Tsubaki. You should be at school, anyway." Once Desert Swan had a way home, Ty looked to the Lopunny. "I share memories with her, she doesn't with me. I hope you don't want to 'Hello Throw' me. Haha."

Desert Swan's eyes lit up as she saw a portal to salvation, right where she needed to be. "OH, THANK YOU! I promise I'll go back to the school after I am done. Pinky swear!" Desert Swan turned to her friends and waved at her friends, saying, "Goodbye! Nice to meet you all! Maybe I will be back one day!" before she stepped into the Dimension Gate.
